Saber Abstract Cardboard Tagged Untitled Original Spray Paint Painting by Saber

Abstract Tagged Untitled Original One of a Kind Spray Paint & Marker Painting Artwork on Folded Cardboard by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Saber. 2020 Spray Paint & Marker Original 16.5x13 Mixed Media Graffiti Painting by Saber. In the vibrant sphere of contemporary art, "Abstract Tagged Untitled" emerges as a profound expression of the street graffiti genre. Saber, the artist behind this captivating piece, utilizes a dynamic combination of spray paint and marker on folded cardboard to construct a narrative that speaks volumes through its abstraction. Crafted in 2020, the artwork's dimensions span 16.5x13 inches, a size that allows for an intimate yet impactful interaction with the viewer. The painting presents a raw and gritty texture, a signature of Saber's work, encapsulating the spontaneity and energy synonymous with street art. The bold black lines slashed across the canvas are reminiscent of tags seen on urban landscapes, symbols of identity and existence within the din of the city. Contrasted with the electric blue spray paint that seems to dance around the stark strokes, there is an almost musical rhythm to the composition. The choice of cardboard as the substrate adds an ephemeral element, highlighting the often temporary nature of graffiti art as it battles the elements and the changing cityscape. This particular piece by Saber does not just portray an aesthetic appeal but also embodies the essence of graffiti culture. It's a form that has been historically misunderstood and yet remains one of the most powerful means of self-expression for artists who operate on the fringes of the traditional art world. Saber, through his work, captures the voice of the street, translating it into a universal language, transcending the boundaries that often confine art to galleries and museums. The painting stands as a testament to the genre's evolution and its acceptance into the broader art community. It reflects a journey from the walls of defiance to the walls of collectors and connoisseurs. "Abstract Tagged Untitled" is not only an original and one-of-a-kind piece of street art by Saber but also a compelling slice of the narrative that street and graffiti art continues to write in the history of modern artistic expression. It's a declaration that the power of art lies not just in representation but also in the raw, unfiltered emotion that it can evoke, something Saber has masterfully captured.

  • Black Widow Black & Red 21_21a Original Spray Paint Charcoal Painting by Saber

Saber Black Widow Black & Red 21_21a Original Spray Paint Charcoal Painting by Saber

Black Widow Black & Red 21_21a Original Spray Paint Charcoal Painting by Saber One of a Kind Artwork on Fine Art Paper by Street Art Pop Artist. 2022 Signed Spray Paint & Charcoal Pencil Original Painting On Hand Deckled Paper Size 15x17.5. "I love Black Widows ⚫️ ♦️🕷... growing up in Southern California we are surrounded by them. Once you notice thier presents they have a tendency to seep into your subconscious, as they have mine. I spent a little extra time with this series. I added little spider and web details hidden in each piece. Also I'm including some extra gifts created for this series within the packaging. These are not prints but individual paintings. This was created by dipping the edges of the paper in water then quickly scrawling on it with waterbased spraypaint using a fat cap. Then, quickly blast it with a hose while it is still wet to reveal the spraypaints ghost like textures and whips. These ghost shapes become the pathways to then detail out with black charcoal pencil. Because of the fast chaotic nature of the first stage of this process using the spraypaint each piece becomes unique yet simular. The detailing process of the second stage using the black charcoal pencil is slower paced and requires more attention. This drawing process becomes cathartic and meditative as each little puzzle is completed. -Also, as I was working on this series, my son was inspired to draw this baby blackwidow drawing. He insisted I hide this as a gift in one of the packages as a thank you.." -Saber

Saber, a revered figure in the street art pop scene, captures the essence of downtown LA with a raw and expressive technique that blends spray paint and acrylics, revealing the city's character beneath its nocturnal veil. This series of hand-painted originals by Saber is more than a mere representation of the city's physical attributes; it's a deep dive into the soul of the urban environment. The mixed media on the embossed archival card accentuates the textural contrast between the harshness of razor wire and the ethereal quality of the city's skyline at night. Using spray paint, a medium synonymous with street art, imparts authenticity to the artwork, resonating with the spontaneous energy of graffiti. Saber's choice to focus on LA scenes at night tells of his intent to explore themes of isolation, boundary, and freedom. The razor wire, a symbol often associated with division and confinement, is set against the backdrop of a city known for its boundless creativity and dreams. This juxtaposition invites contemplation about the barriers—both physical and metaphorical—that define urban spaces and the lives within them. In essence, the "Near Down Town LA Razor Wire Study" series embodies the evolution of graffiti into a form of street pop art that challenges, engages, and captivates. It underscores the ongoing conversation about the value of street art within the artistic canon and its capacity to capture and comment on the essence of contemporary urban existence. Through his intimate and visceral portrayals of Los Angeles, Saber solidifies his position as a leading voice in street art pop, shaping how we perceive and interact with the surrounding cityscapes.

  • Opal Whipz 19 Original Acrylic Painting by Saber

Saber Opal Whipz 19 Original Acrylic Painting by Saber

Opal Whipz 19 Original Acrylic Painting by Saber One of a Kind Artwork on Reflective Paper by Street Art Pop Artist. 2022 Signed Acrylic Paint Original Painting On Hand Deckled Opal/Chrome reflective paper Size 17.5x22.5. "I've been saving a stack of this rare opal/chrome reflective paper for a few years now. I finally built up enough courage to attempt this series considering how limited amount of sheets I have. I've developed a technique where I paint on the paper quickly then use a scrape tool to create the strokes and gestures. Because the surface is drying fast I have a limited time to create the pieces. I enjoy this process because I end up with individual unique pieces within a larger series. Each one has it's own character, movement and engery but was created within the same breath and rhythm. To be honest sometimes these pieces can be static. The flat black against the chrome you can notice the hand painted blemishes and the opal isnt quite actived. But, movement and light plays the central role in how you see it. The opal chrome effect shifts dramatically as you move around it reflecting the light back out into the space. At a certain point of the day if the light hits the piece just right the entire room will light up reflective shards." -Saber
