In much reflection during this time, I found inspiration in colors of an era when I was very young, reminiscent of better times." -Dr. Dax

He wanted to introduce me to the guys and help push getting me to release a print. Because things were hectic before leaving I wasn’t able to get anything together. By the time I got to Chicago I still didn’t have anything. Rime, Mason and I had been through a few cities by then and were pretty tired. The night before our stop in Chicago we were in Nebraska. Nebraska was fucking nasty as all hell. It is where we hit a patch of black ice and did 4 huge 360 spins down the highway with semi trucks barreling down the highway behind us. All I could get out of my mouth was “Put it in the ditch man”! That became the quote for the rest of the trip." - Persue

Then they sat to the side for a while and came back to them a while later when my hand was completely healed and started building up the layers. These paintings are very unique within my body of work. The only two from that time period were I was really exploring meshing different aspects of my painting and sketchbook elements. Indigenous Roots Reclaimed Limited Edition 4-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Ernesto Yerena Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2020 Signed by Arlene Mejorado & Ernesto Yerena Montejano & Numbered Limited Edition of 300 Artwork 18x24 "Indigenous Roots Reclaimed" is a striking limited edition silkscreen print that embodies the fusion of modern pop art with the soulful essence of street art. This 4-color hand-pulled print on fine art paper is the creative collaboration between the photographer Arlene Mejorado and artist Ernesto Yerena Montejano, illustrating the vitality of indigenous heritage through the lens of contemporary artistry. Released in 2020, this piece is a part of a limited edition of 300 signed and numbered artworks, each measuring 18x24 inches, allowing the viewer to immerse in its detail and messaging at a significant scale. The print features a young girl at its center, set against a backdrop that bursts with vibrant color and geometric patterns reminiscent of traditional indigenous art. These patterns surround the subject in a halo-like manner, suggesting a spiritual or ancestral connection. The girl's pose, with arms outstretched, further symbolizes an embrace of her cultural legacy, conveying a sense of openness and acceptance. Yerena's use of bold lines and vivid hues is characteristic of his work, which often highlights cultural and political themes, particularly those pertaining to his Chicano heritage. Mejorado's collaboration brings an added layer of authenticity, capturing the essence of the subject with photographic precision before it is transformed through Yerena's distinctive graphic style. This artwork speaks to a reclamation of identity and a celebration of cultural roots within the urban context. It bridges communities and dialogues by reclaiming public spaces for indigenous narratives through the medium of street art. In the art market, where the voices of indigenous people and their cultural imprints have often been marginalized, "Indigenous Roots Reclaimed" stands as a testament to the resilience and enduring beauty of these traditions. This piece is not only a work of art but also a powerful statement in the ongoing conversation about cultural heritage and representation in the arts. It pays homage to the past while remaining firmly rooted in the present, showcasing how traditional motifs can find new life and resonance within the sphere of modern art. Ernesto Yerena Montejano's work, amplified by Arlene Mejorado's photographic eye, ensures that "Indigenous Roots Reclaimed" is not only seen but felt, prompting a contemplative engagement with the viewer on themes of identity, history, and the power of art as a vehicle for social commentary and cultural celebration.

In Your Arms Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by ThankYouX Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2016 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 16x20 "I created this print special for 1xRUN. The image shows a girl letting go and throwing her hands up while being taken over by color, feelings, and emotions. It was inspired by a remix I did for a DJ Producer named Michael Woods. The song's lyrics were inspiring and made me want to create something unique.I feel that music and art can be one. When I make music, it makes me want to create more paintings; when I paint, it makes me want to get back in the studio and make more music. I want to continue this Art/Music project for the rest of the year. "- ThankYouX ThankYouX's Artistic Symphony ThankYouX, renowned for his vivid and expressive pieces, has made a distinct mark on modern pop art with his limited edition archival pigment prints. His work "In Your Arms" is a captivating example, blending street art's energy with pop art's sensibility into a creation rich in emotion and color. Released in 2016 as a limited edition of 50, each piece is signed and numbered, making it a treasure for collectors and enthusiasts. "In Your Arms" measures 16x20 inches and is printed on 310gsm fine art paper, a testament to the artist's commitment to quality and longevity. ThankYouX's approach to this piece was inspired by a remix he produced for DJ Michael Woods. The synergy between the music's lyrics and ThankYouX's visual imagination gave birth to an image that captures the essence of letting go, represented by the figure of a girl surrendering to a whirlwind of color and sentiment. This work is an emblem of the artist's belief in the unity of music and visual art. ThankYouX emphasizes the cyclical inspiration he derives from both disciplines, where painting fuels his musical creativity, and music, in turn, urges him to pick up the brush again. The artist intends to sustain this Art/Music project, exploring the harmonious relationship between the auditory and visual realms. Emotional Resonance in Street Pop Art The emotional resonance of "In Your Arms" is palpable; the subject is caught in a moment of ecstatic release, with vibrant splashes of color that seem to emerge from the very soul of the figure. This piece embodies the core of street pop art & graffiti artwork, where the raw and refined converge, and emotion can be as vividly portrayed on paper as on the urban canvas's walls. ThankYouX's work, mainly "In Your Arms," reflects the dynamic street art scene, where storytelling is visceral and direct. The figure's posture, the explosion of hues, and the invisible yet tangible energy emanating from the print are characteristic of street art's expressive power. • Sale -33% Oil and Water 2022 Giclee Print by Dave Pollot

Dave Pollot Oil and Water 2022 Giclee Print by Dave Pollot

Oil and Water 2022 Giclee Print by Dave Pollot Artwork Limited Edition Print on Velvet Matte Rag Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 150 Artwork Size 17.75x24 Dave Pollot's Creative Process in "Oil and Water" Dave Pollot's "Oil and Water" is a remarkable giclee print that exemplifies the artist's renowned ability to navigate the confluence of classical art themes with the vibrant, unrestrained spirit of street pop art and graffiti artwork. The limited edition print, produced on sumptuous velvet matte rag paper, showcases Pollot's commitment to quality and his knack for repurposing traditional art forms within a modern context. Signed and numbered in 2022, this piece is part of a limited edition of 150, each print measuring 17.75x24 inches, and it encapsulates the artist's playful yet thought-provoking approach to art. In "Oil and Water," Pollot presents a traditional nautical scene with an unexpected twist – a ship's sails adorned with vibrant graffiti. This anachronistic fusion is a visual metaphor for the clash and blend of different times, cultures, and art forms. The giclee printing process, known for its ability to produce high-quality, long-lasting prints, allows Pollot's intricate details and vivid colors to stand out, preserving the textural qualities of the original painting while adding a contemporary crispness that captivates the viewer. The inclusion of graffiti, a hallmark of street art, on the sails of the classic ship juxtaposes the freedom and rebellion associated with graffiti culture against the disciplined, measured world of seafaring depicted in traditional maritime paintings. Pollot's work suggests a dialogue between the structured progression of history and the often disruptive, spontaneous energy of modern street pop art. The artwork invites contemplation about the nature of progress – it questions whether the two worlds it portrays are as incompatible as oil and water or whether they can coexist and complement each other. The Cultural Resonance of "Oil and Water" The limited edition nature of "Oil and Water" speaks to the exclusivity and collectability often associated with street pop art and graffiti artwork. Collectors of Pollot's work are acquiring a visually stunning piece and a slice of contemporary art discourse. The print serves as a tangible representation of the ongoing conversation about the place of street art within the broader art historical narrative and its intersection with popular culture. Dave Pollot's medium and subject matter choice in "Oil and Water" also underscores a more significant cultural resonance. Giclee prints have democratized art ownership, allowing more people to engage with and possess otherwise inaccessible works. By leveraging this medium, Pollot extends the reach of his art, allowing more individuals to participate in the cultural exchange that his work reflects and instigates. "Oil and Water" and the Evolution of Artistic Expression "Oil and Water" symbolizes the evolution of artistic expression in the modern era. By infusing classical art with the language of street pop and graffiti, Pollot is contributing to developing a new visual vocabulary that is both accessible and deeply layered with meaning. His work does not conform to traditional boundaries; instead, it traverses and expands them, embodying contemporary art's dynamic and ever-changing landscape. The future trajectory of Pollot's career, and more broadly street pop art and graffiti artwork, is one of continued innovation and expansion. As seen with "Oil and Water," the potential for growth and exploration within this artistic domain is vast. With each limited edition print, Pollot shares a unique vision and invites viewers to question and redefine their understanding of art's potential. In "Oil and Water," Dave Pollot has created more than a mere image; he has crafted a bridge across time, a conversation between disparate art forms, and a reflection on the nature of cultural evolution. The artwork is a testament to Pollot's skill, vision, and unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of what art can be and do. As one of the 150 limited edition prints circulates among collectors and enthusiasts, it carries the spirit of innovation and the enduring question of how the past informs the present and future of art.

Roger Gastman Anti-Graffiti Propaganda Case Study No.1 Archival Print by Roger Gastman

Anti-Graffiti Propaganda Case Study No.1 Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Roger Gastman Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "This piece continues within the Tools of Criminal Mischief series of spray paint cans and markers prints that I've been doing with 1xRun. I have a large collection of anti-graffiti paraphernalia: pamphlets, signs, pins, tee shirts, etc. This image was revisited and fine-tuned in 2013 but it's taken years and years of collecting and digging along with close friends sending me stuff. I am always on the hunt for more. A few years ago, Caleb Neelon and I wrote a book for Harper Collins, "The History of American Graffiti" and the endsheet patterns for that book were a collage of the items on this print. Whenever I give someone the book or they see it somewhere, they love the end sheet patterns and want to know more about it and how I got all of the items. I decided to open the files back up and add some color and re-envision the design to create a collage of the anti-graffiti propaganda. " - Roger Gastman

Infinity Skull Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Bright White Fine Art Paper by Sobekcis Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 11.7x16.5 "Both of these pieces fit in the aesthetic that we have been working on in the last year and for both, we chose the approach of working half by hand and then working out the geometrical elements and colors on the computer. With the Infinity Skull piece, we wanted to work with asymmetrical piece as we have worked on before, and even though it wasn't in the first idea it somehow started to look like a tarot card. So we finished the work in that direction. For Crystalpecker, the idea was to use the same outline of the bird just flipped, and also in different color combinations to create again this kind of symmetry like with the skull. They we were just breaking it up with the background so it wouldn't be perfectly symmetrical." - Sobekcis

Power Of Movement Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Case Maclaim Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. One of the most poignant aspects common to all of case’s works is the texture of the surfaces he uses. They are painted on a background that is made from pieces of cardboard of various sizes. Most of the cardboard comes from the packaging of the spray paint cans and they are held together with glue, staples and tape. Sometimes bits and pieces of wood are also glued onto the surface, such that a bumpy, one-of-a-kind surface appears. This structure is diametrically opposed to typically overblown, perfectionist images and it gives case’s works their unique character.

"This piece was created solely for my 1xRun print release. It is part of an ongoing series called Rasta, (respect all subway transit artists). All of the pieces are painted on NYC subway maps.I painted on a 1972 New York City subway map because this version was the best-designed map in my opinion. Also, graffiti took to the city in the early ’70s and at that time went from the walls to subways. I painted a signature 'Wane' piece as it has a strong letter foundation which is what subway art is based on." - Wane One Cod

Scott Grooves 808 Silkscreen Print by Scott Grooves

808 Limited Edition 4-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Scott Grooves Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. “This piece is inspired by the 808 drum machine, and while the average person looking at this piece may not know this, that's ok with me. I kinda like the esoteric approach with my works. That’s why sometimes it takes me a long period of time to come up with something new.The idea came about because I have always liked the 808 drum machine’s buttons. So my graphics guy Barry and I sat down one day and hashed this out together. I had been talking about a clock the previous week so he said ‘what about a clock’ then I added let’s make the time coincide with the name of the drum machine, and everything fell into place perfectly.I’m not one for the obvious, but I do like simplicity with some wit. The piece was originally created in 2013 as a wearable art piece, but this is my first art print ever offered to the public, and I hope people see that art and time can coexist and be pleasing to the eye.” - Scott Grooves
