I'm always thinking, if my paintings were songs what would they sound like? Often I'll be listening to a song and it'll give me an idea for a painting. Angels are a reoccurring motif for me and most of my pictures draw from a bitter-sweet theme. So the image of a fallen angel is a powerfully symbolic way to portray this.
