  • Covid No 19 Rose Archival Print by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Denial- Daniel Bombardier Covid No 19 Rose Archival Print by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Covid No 19- Rose Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print on 290gsm MOAB Fine Art Paper by Graffiti Pop Art and Street Artist Denial. 2021 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 19 Rose Covid19 Chanel Hand Sanitizer Virus Variant. Numbered, Signed, Stamped on Reverse Archival Pigment Print on MOAB Fine Art Paper 290 GSM Size 18" x 24" Denial’s COVID No. 19: Luxury Branding in the Age of Global Crisis Denial’s COVID No. 19 is a striking archival pigment print released in 2021 as a limited edition of 19, each hand-signed, numbered, and stamped on 290gsm MOAB fine art paper. The work appropriates the form of a Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle, replacing its iconic label with a fictional product name: COVID No. 19 Hand Sanitizer. Rendered with hyper-clean digital precision, the image reconfigures the aesthetics of high fashion to comment on the absurdities of pandemic-era consumerism. The hand sanitizer bottle is presented with all the visual authority of a luxury good, transforming an object of necessity into a parody of status and desire. At the core of this piece is a brutal cultural observation: during a global health emergency, everyday tools of survival—like sanitizer and masks—were elevated to symbols of identity, fashion, and economic access. Denial’s rebranding of Chanel’s perfume into a virus-era commodity confronts this shift head-on. The artwork doesn’t merely lampoon luxury—it reveals how systems of marketing can absorb trauma, repackage it, and sell it back to the public. The Chanel-style labeling is clinical yet elegant, a nod to how visual minimalism often masks corporate manipulation. Commercial Aesthetics as Subversive Weaponry Denial’s artistic strategy centers on the theft and recontextualization of commercial language. With COVID No. 19, the use of vector-sharp line work, realistic light reflections, and exacting product design mimics advertising to the point of deception. This imitation is intentional. The viewer is meant to initially read the image as authentic—something from a fashion magazine or cosmetics campaign—before the irony of the label snaps into focus. The dissonance between form and content invites a critique of the capitalist tendency to aestheticize suffering. This visual methodology ties directly into the ethos of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Denial’s roots in unauthorized public messaging and subcultural image disruption remain present, even as the work exists in a fine art format. The absence of spray drips or rough textures does not diminish the rebellion. Instead, it retools the graphic language of commercial persuasion to undermine itself from within. What looks like a product pitch is, in fact, a visual accusation. The pandemic is not the subject—it is the branding of the pandemic that comes under fire. Street Pop Art as Pandemic Documentation COVID No. 19 operates as both satire and historical record. It captures a cultural moment when survival tools became luxury statements, when scarcity was linked to exclusivity, and when branding extended even to medical supplies. Denial’s artwork speaks to the way modern crises are not only experienced but marketed—how the fear of illness was filtered through the same systems that sell beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. The sanitizer bottle becomes a symbol not of protection, but of consumption. By fusing the iconography of fashion with the reality of a global pandemic, Denial forces the viewer to reconsider the boundaries between design and ethics, branding and survival. The visual simplicity of COVID No. 19 hides a layered indictment of how quickly commercial aesthetics can strip events of meaning. In the tradition of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this piece turns familiar symbols against themselves, exposing the fragility of culture’s glossy surfaces when confronted with real human urgency.

Signed & Numbered Archival Pigment Print on 310gsm on Bright White Fine Art Paper Size: 16 x 24 Inches Release: August 28, 2015 Run of: 50 "This piece was created very late in 2013 and it has many layers. I first processed down panels to get the tiled effect I desired. Then I started to lay down layer of texture which eventually ended with the portrait seen. It was originally made for an event I did at the Saint Petersburg Museum of Art. The show paired 5 artists with 5 locally celebrated chefs to collaborate. The chef was to make a dish inspired by the work. The piece was also made in as part of an on going series of portrait works painted mostly in halftones. I like working with weather old wood for the unique texture it provides. With this piece I didn't want to use a single piece of wood but several to achieve a wood tile look much like the facade of an abandoned building. People should buy this piece because it hopefully speaks to them in a similar way it spoke to me when I made it. People should also buy the print because prints from 1xRUN are simply put, fucking awesome!" - Bask

Pearl Jam Nov 18th Melbourne Gig Poster Silkscreen Print by Ben Frost Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition 6 Color Screenprint Artwork. 2024 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 24x18 Silkscreen Print Official Pearl Jam Holographic Sticker on Back. Pearl Jam, Pixies & Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, Australia. Pearl Jam Melbourne Gig Poster by Ben Frost The Pearl Jam November 18th 2024 Melbourne gig poster by Ben Frost is a striking silkscreen print that merges the visual voltage of contemporary Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork with the live energy of one of rock’s most iconic bands. This officially licensed concert print commemorates Pearl Jam’s appearance at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, joined by legendary alternative rock band Pixies and rising Australian act Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers. Hand-pulled on fine art paper using six vibrant colors, this limited edition print is signed and numbered by Ben Frost and comes with an official Pearl Jam holographic sticker affixed to the back, affirming its authenticity. Visual Energy and Symbolism The artwork presents an explosive mirrored composition featuring two yellow cockatoos—native to Australia—locked in a bold and symmetrical confrontation. Their wings are ablaze with flames, rendered in a high-contrast palette of crimson, amber, and electric yellow. The birds’ feathers pulse with intensity, each form carefully delineated through Frost’s precise graphic technique. Their talons meet at the center, interlocking to form a clenched gesture that suggests solidarity, power, and resistance. Between the wings, flames rise upward, forming the spiritual and literal heat of the print—mirroring the fire and urgency that has always defined Pearl Jam’s music. Emblazoned on one wing is the date of the concert, NOV 18 2024, while the other wing marks the venue: MARVEL STADIUM MELBOURNE. The typography is seamlessly integrated into the design, serving both function and form, rooted in graffiti styling but refined through the lens of fine art silkscreen work. Artist Background and Street Pop Context Ben Frost is an internationally recognized Australian artist known for his ability to appropriate pop culture, pharmaceuticals, corporate logos, and advertising language into subversive and often satirical compositions. Through his Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Frost explores consumer culture, identity, and rebellion. This poster carries those same hallmarks of his wider body of work—exaggerated color palettes, clean linework, and a dense sense of visual stimulation. While Frost is renowned for his critiques of media saturation and capitalist spectacle, this piece celebrates a specific cultural moment. The visual style reflects his skill at mixing commercial and countercultural influences into something both collectible and critical, blending the immediacy of street art with the polish of screenprinted fine art editions. Concert Culture and Contemporary Collectibles As with all official Pearl Jam gig posters, this print serves as a functional keepsake but transcends into the realm of visual art. At 24x18 inches, the scale is significant, ideal for collectors and fans who appreciate not just the music but the iconography it inspires. Limited to only 100 hand-signed and numbered prints, it represents an exclusive collaboration between music and visual art communities. Pearl Jam has consistently aligned themselves with socially conscious and artistically progressive projects, and their ongoing partnership with artists like Ben Frost reinforces their legacy. With added support from the Pixies and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers on this tour stop, the print also captures a cross-generational exchange within alternative music. Ben Frost’s poster is more than promotional material—it is a symbolic totem of sound, culture, and resistance, crystallized through the fire of silkscreen artistry.

  • God Save Margaret Thatchers Children by Billy Childish x Jamie Reid

God Save Margaret Thatchers Children by Billy Childish x Jamie Reid

God Save Margaret Thatcher Giclee Print Record CD Box Set by Billy Childish x Jamie Reid Artwork Limited Edition Print With Safety-pin On Distressed Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2013 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 200 Artwork Size 27.6x20.5 2013 Thatcher's Children Boxed Record CD & Letter Box Set Plus L-13 Brown Bag The collaborative artwork "God Save Margaret Thatcher" by Billy Childish and Jamie Reid is a sharp and provocative commentary rendered through the lens of street pop art and graffiti artwork. The limited edition giclee print, part of a collection that includes a boxed record CD and letter box set, is a fusion of political narrative and artistic expression that captures the cultural zeitgeist of its time. Political Satire and Artistic Expression The giclee print is a bold statement within the pop art movement, a genre known for blurring the lines between high art and popular culture. Billy Childish and Jamie Reid, known for their aggressive aesthetics, use the iconography associated with Margaret Thatcher, the former Prime Minister of the UK, to create a layered discourse on power, policy, and patriotism. The artwork, sized 27.6x20.5 inches, employs the distressed look typical of street art and the precision of fine art printing techniques, with the addition of a safety pin that punctuates the piece with an emblem of punk culture. The image of Thatcher, presented with a stylized rendition of the Union Jack and the phrase "God Save," evokes the nationalistic fervor and divisive politics of her era. The choice of giclee printing ensures that each piece in the limited edition of 200 retains the vibrancy and detail of the original work, making it not just a political statement but also a collector's item. Reid and Childish's Distinctive Styles Jamie Reid, famously associated with the punk rock band the Sex Pistols, brings his characteristic ransom-note typography to the collaboration, complementing Childish's raw and expressive style. The layered text over Thatcher's image creates a visual cacophony that mirrors the social and political turbulence associated with her tenure as Prime Minister. The aesthetics of the print are reminiscent of Reid's work on album covers, while Childish's influence is evident in the vibrant and unrefined quality of the imagery. This limited edition print, signed and numbered by the artists, is a testament to their shared ethos of challenging authority and convention through art. The use of distressed fine art paper adds a layer of authenticity, emulating the ephemeral nature of street art and graffiti while simultaneously offering the permanence of fine art. Boxed Record CD and Letter Box Set Accompanying the giclee print is the "Thatcher's Children" boxed record CD and letter box set, an extension of the narrative explored in the print. This set, a combination of visual art and music, encapsulates the multifaceted approach to storytelling that both Childish and Reid employ. Including music and the written word with the optical components enriches the dialogue initiated by the print, offering a more immersive experience of the artwork's thematic content. Cultural Packaging: The L-13 Brown Bag The entire collection is presented in an L-13 brown bag, a packaging choice that is both practical and symbolic. The unassuming brown bag, often associated with the bland transportation of goods, is a vessel for transporting powerful artistic and political statements. The L-13 stamp on the bag indicates the involvement of the L-13 Light Industrial Workshop, known for supporting avant-garde and counter-culture artists, further aligning the collection with the spirit of rebellion and dissent. Significance in Modern Art The "God Save Margaret Thatcher" giclee print and accompanying items hold a significant place in the narrative of modern art. They represent a confluence of street art's accessibility, pop art's use of popular imagery, and the personal touch of graffiti art. The collection is not only a reflection of the political climate of the 1980s but also a timeless exploration of the power dynamics and societal structures that continue to shape contemporary discourse. Billy Childish and Jamie Reid's collaborative effort in creating the "God Save Margaret Thatcher" collection is a masterful blend of street pop art and graffiti artwork that resonates with cultural and political relevance. The print's limited edition nature, the giclee medium's quality, and the boxed set's comprehensive nature all contribute to the collection's appeal as a significant piece of art history and a poignant commentary on the social and political landscape.

  • Sale -10% K-Love Green Art Toy by Joan Cornellà

Joan Cornellà K-Love Green Art Toy by Joan Cornellà

K-Love Green Art Toy by Joan Cornellà Limited Edition Vinyl Sculpture Collectible Artwork by Pop Street Artist. 2020 Limited Edition Artwork Size 5x7 New In Bag Printed Foot. Kim Jong-Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, is depicted in an unusual all-green suit, a creative take on his typically worn all-black attire. In his left hand, he gently clasps a small heart, and a faint smile softens his expression. In a striking fusion of political commentary and pop art aesthetic, the "K-Love Green Art Toy" stands out as a limited edition vinyl sculpture that captivates collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Crafted by Joan Cornellà, a renowned pop street artist whose work often toes the line between unsettling and humorous, this piece was introduced in 2020. It quickly became a sought-after item for its bold statement and vibrant execution. The sculpture is modest, measuring 4x5 inches, making it an intimate yet poignant addition to any collection. This vinyl artwork captures a distinctive portrayal of Kim Jong-Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, dressed not in his signature all-black ensemble but in an all-green suit. The choice of color could be seen as a playful twist on his usual public image or a more profound symbolic gesture towards life, vitality, or irony in the face of the leader's often austere demeanor. The Supreme Leader's typically stern facade is softened here; he is seen holding a diminutive red heart in his left hand and sporting a subtle smile. This dichotomy between the leader's usual representation and the gentle, almost childlike pose he strikes is emblematic of Cornellà's style, which often juxtaposes the grim facets of human nature with a deceptively cheerful visual narrative. Cornellà's work is characterized by its stark, often shocking, satirical edge, making bold statements through simple yet impactful imagery. This limited edition piece, which comes new in a bag with a printed foot, reinforces the artist's penchant for blending the macabre with the whimsical. "K-Love Green Art Toy" is not just a collectible; it's a slice of contemporary cultural commentary that challenges viewers to find the intersection of art, politics, and pop culture, encouraging a deeper look into the layers of meaning behind a seemingly straightforward figure. As it stands in silent conversation with those who encounter it, this artwork continues to resonate with the complexities and contradictions of the modern world.

As Seen on TV- Mini, Part of the True Facts Mini Multiple Series Original Hand-Painted Multiple (HPM) on Wood Cradled Panel ready to hang by Denial Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "My work speaks of impending doom and a lot of crass sinister themes, but that should not mean I desire this to happen at all. I hope my work would suggest only the opposite: to show the ridiculousness of it all and how we may find better solutions for the future." -Denial Denial’s art is strongly political and social since the artist takes specific positions against issues, such as capitalism, consumer culture, and advertisements. More importantly, the artist is aware of his choices and motivations: “I like to think of myself as activist pop art. How I relate with cartoons and graphics is a lot easier than I do with photo-realistic stuff" Another aspect of Denial's work is humor. His work is satirical, which, by definition, means that it uses humor as a confronting mechanism.

  • Covid No 19 Mauve Archival Print by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Denial- Daniel Bombardier Covid No 19 Mauve Archival Print by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Covid No 19- Mauve Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print on 290gsm MOAB Fine Art Paper by Graffiti Pop Art and Street Artist Denial. 2021 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 19 Mauve Covid19 Chanel Hand Sanitizer Virus Variant.

With a limited edition count of only 55, each piece is authenticated with OG Slick's signature and bears a unique edition number, elevating its exclusivity. At the heart of the artwork is a provocative representation of the beloved Mickey Mouse cartoon character, reimagined as Guan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion. This depiction intriguingly showcases Guan Yin, traditionally seen as a symbol of mercy and compassion, throwing hand signs, a gesture frequently seen in street art. The upper body and face of Mickey Mouse are cloaked in black, offering an intense contrast against the vibrant backdrop and evoking a sense of mystery. The inspiration behind this distinctive portrayal stems from OG Slick's childhood memories of Chinatown. There, small figurines placed at store registers were believed to bestow good fortune upon the shop owner and those who offered money. This traditional practice is cleverly juxtaposed with a modern twist in the artwork, where Guan Yin is illustrated being showered with digital currency, hinting at the evolving dynamics of value, faith, and the digital age. Through "Ink Head Slick Yellow", OG Slick has once again demonstrated his unique ability to amalgamate cultural symbols, childhood memories, and urban influences, creating an art piece that resonates deeply with both traditional and contemporary sentiments.

Noir Flower Woman Blue AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Artist Proof Hand-Pulled Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. AP Artist Proof 2022 Signed & AP Marked Original Run Limited Edition Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print of Woman Holding Large Lotus Flower. "The Obey Noir Flower Woman print is inspired by Art Deco design and Dark Wave album art. The image has a few avenues for interpretation. I primarily see it as a tribute to idealists who protect the environment, cultivate justice, and hold optimism close to their hearts. We all face challenges and hostilities, but exterior forces don't control our inner strength and idealism. We do! Idealism leads to action. Those who perpetrate injustice rely on apathy to get away with their misdeeds. Nurture your inner idealism, and your constructive actions will follow. A portion of the proceeds from this print will benefit Greenpeace to support its work to enhance environmental protections and combat climate change." -Shepard Fairey. Shepard Fairey's "Noir Flower Woman Blue AP" is a testament to the harmonious blend of pop and street art, with a unique nod to graffiti culture. With the hand-pulled silkscreen method on fine art paper, this 18x24 print captures a woman delicately holding a giant lotus flower. This captivating artwork, released as an Artist Proof in 2022, is not only a rare find due to its limited edition run but also because of the personal touch added by Fairey through his signature and the distinctive "AP" mark. At a glance, the "Obey Noir Flower Woman" appears to be heavily influenced by Art Deco elements and Dark Wave album art aesthetics. Yet, beneath its visual layers lies a profound message. Shepard Fairey draws inspiration from those idealists who remain committed to environmental protection, champion justice, and foster a deep-seated optimism, even in the face of adversity. His work argues that external challenges can never overshadow the radiant light of one's inner resilience and idealism. Rather than being passive spectators, Fairey calls upon individuals to harness their inner idealism, transforming it into actionable change. This sentiment reverberates even more when considering that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print aids Greenpeace in its relentless battle against climate change and for enhanced environmental protections. This piece by Fairey isn't merely an artwork; it's an emblem that showcases the intersection of visual allure and impactful advocacy, a hallmark that distinguishes much of the art from the pop, street, and graffiti genres. As viewers immerse themselves in the intricate details of "Noir Flower Woman Blue AP," they are invited to reflect, respond, and act on the world around them.

Prefab77 Heist Eyes HPM Stencil Spray Paint Silkscreen by Prefab77

Heist Eyes HPM Stencil Spray Paint Silkscreen by Prefab77 Hand-Painted Multiple on 300gsm Somerset Fine Art Paper Unique Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2023 Signed & Numbered Edition of 60 HPM Unique Hand Painted Spray Paint Stencil Artwork Size 15x22 Silkscreen of Close Up of Woman's Eyes With Pop Culture Figures. Prefab77 Heist Eyes HPM Stencil Spray Paint Silkscreen Heist Eyes is a 2023 hand-painted multiple by Prefab77, the British artist known for fusing punk attitude, pop culture references, and layered graphic collage into bold Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Printed as a silkscreen with stencil spray paint elements on 300gsm Somerset fine art paper, this edition of 60 measures approximately 15 x 22 inches and is signed and numbered. The composition centers on a dramatic close-up of a woman’s eyes rendered in stark black and white, framed by fragmented typography, geometric patterning, and cultural iconography. The gaze becomes the anchor within a chaotic visual field of torn headlines, stylized figures, and angular motifs that recall vintage poster design reinterpreted through contemporary urban language. Pop Culture Fragmentation and Graphic Rebellion Prefab77 has built a reputation for integrating references to music, cinema, and countercultural imagery into tightly constructed compositions that feel both nostalgic and confrontational. In Heist Eyes, the central eyes function as both observer and observed, reinforcing themes of surveillance, spectacle, and identity. Surrounding elements include bold lettering, collaged text fragments, and recognizable stylistic nods to classic British punk graphics. The interplay of pastel pinks, muted gold tones, black, and soft blues injects vibrancy without overwhelming the central focal point. This layered fragmentation is characteristic of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, where appropriation and recontextualization transform familiar imagery into something newly charged. Hand-Painted Multiple Technique and Material Depth As an HPM, or hand-painted multiple, each print carries unique spray paint embellishments layered over the structured silkscreen base. This approach bridges studio printmaking and the immediacy of street practice. The stencil spray paint accents introduce subtle variations in texture and color distribution, ensuring that no two works in the edition are identical. Somerset paper provides a durable archival surface that enhances the crispness of the screenprinted lines while absorbing the spray applications with depth and character. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Heist Eyes stands as a refined yet rebellious example of how stencil, collage aesthetics, and pop iconography converge into a visually assertive contemporary print.

Convergence of Street Pop Art and High-End Collectibles Shepard Fairey's 'Peace Fingers' is a prime example of how street pop art has transcended public spaces and infiltrated the high-end collectibles market. By moving street art from the brief to the permanent, Fairey challenges traditional notions of what graffiti artwork can be. This sculpture is an artifact of cultural dialogue, a tangible connection to the spirit of street art that collectors can own, display, and preserve. It blurs the lines between high art and street art, elevating the latter to a status that commands attention and respect in the art community and beyond. The Cultural Impact of Fairey's Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork The cultural impact of Fairey's work is profound, with his iconic designs becoming part of the visual lexicon of the 21st century. With its modern pop graffiti aesthetic, the Peace Fingers sculpture continues Fairey's exploration into themes of rebellion, empowerment, and social commentary. It serves as a physical reminder of the power of street pop art as a tool for change, a medium that can convey complex messages through accessible imagery. Dave Pollot Why You Fail Giclee Print by Dave Pollot

Why You Fail Giclee Print by Dave Pollot Artwork Limited Edition Print on Canvas Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2025 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of TBD Artwork Size 13.19x20 Star Wars May the 4th Special Edition Print on Rolled Canvas. Why You Fail Giclee Print by Dave Pollot: Star Wars Lore Painted into American Nostalgia Why You Fail by Dave Pollot is a 2025 signed and numbered limited edition giclee print on canvas, sized at 13.19x20 inches and released as part of the Star Wars May the 4th Special Edition series. This artwork places a quiet moment of Jedi training into a serene wooded landscape traditionally found in mid-century Americana paintings. The striking juxtaposition between the fantasy world of Star Wars and the tranquil realism of traditional decorative art firmly situates this piece within the canon of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Pollot’s subtle narrative placement brings gravitas to a humorous composition, provoking thought about mentorship, failure, and legacy. Classic Landscape Framed Around Sci-Fi Reflection The scene features the Jedi Master Yoda standing at the base of a tall tree, gazing contemplatively toward the background, where a young Luke Skywalker trains by a misty lake. The viewer’s eye is drawn across the reflective surface of the water, past the verdant foliage and sun-dappled canopy, into a space that merges imagination with nostalgia. While the background recalls rustic Americana paintings that adorned thrift stores and family homes, the addition of Yoda and Luke recontextualizes it with narrative weight. The title Why You Fail alludes to one of Yoda’s most famous teachings, reinforcing the theme of personal growth and challenge in the face of adversity. Dave Pollot’s Technique and Message Dave Pollot is an American artist who began reworking discarded traditional prints by adding pop culture elements in a way that is both seamless and subversive. Each figure he integrates is meticulously matched in lighting, scale, and perspective, creating illusions so natural they feel like part of the original. In Why You Fail, his mastery of painterly technique allows Yoda to appear almost organically grown from the landscape itself. The surrounding calmness of the forest, contrasted with the intensity of Jedi discipline, adds a quiet wisdom to the composition. The naturalistic setting becomes a stage for introspection, cleverly masked in nostalgia and fandom. Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Through Narrative Repurposing This artwork's place in the larger street pop and graffiti-influenced dialogue lies in its capacity to remix the familiar with subversive context. Pollot’s body of work exists not in gallery isolation but in cultural remixing. His approach aligns with modern visual storytelling where icons from film, music, and games are embedded into formats once considered traditional. Why You Fail invites viewers to consider not only how stories are told but where they are told. By placing Yoda in a scene originally devoid of galactic epic, the work encourages meditation on legacy, learning, and the quiet moments that define personal transformation. The print becomes both collectible and philosophical—redefining what it means to engage with pop culture through the lens of fine art.

The Convergence of Street Legends: Dr. Revolt and Zephyr Through the Lens of Ricky Powell In the swirling colors and defiant lines of street pop art and graffiti artwork, authenticity and innovation stand as pillars of the movement. Among the vibrant canvases of city walls, two names emerge with a resonant echo through time: Dr. Revolt and Zephyr. These graffiti artists are not just mere painters of the urban landscape; they are storytellers, cultural commentators, and pioneers of a form that has grown from illicit beginnings to a globally recognized art movement. Their collaboration with Ricky Powell, a legendary photographer known for his candid documentation of the street and hip-hop scenes, culminates in a series of limited edition photo archival pigment prints on fine art paper that captures the essence of an era. Dr. Revolt and Zephyr: Masters of the Spray Can Dr. Revolt, with his flair for electrifying lettering and cartoon figures, has been an integral part of the graffiti scene since its upsurge in the concrete jungles of New York. His work, rife with references to pop culture and subcultural codes, encapsulates the rebellious spirit of the 1970s and 80s. Similarly, Zephyr, renowned for his distinctive wild style and influence in the graffiti movement, has left an indelible mark on the art form. Both artists have witnessed the evolution of graffiti from an underground phenomenon to a legitimate artistic pursuit, and their works are studied and revered by enthusiasts and practitioners alike. The collaboration between Dr. Revolt and Zephyr is not just a meeting of two artists but a fusion of styles that have shaped the trajectory of street art. These prints, limited to a run of 75, offer a glimpse into the world of these artists through the candid and intimate style that Powell is celebrated for. Each piece is a 20x15 archival pigment print, a medium chosen for its longevity and ability to reproduce the subtleties of Powell's original photographs with fidelity and depth. The prints are not merely reproductions; they are artifacts of cultural significance. Each one is signed, numbered, and titled by Powell's hand, imbuing them with his presence and blessing. Accompanying the prints is a Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by Powell, assuring collectors of the print's provenance and its place within the limited edition. This series stands as a testament to the era and the enduring influence of these artists within the pantheon of modern pop art. In these prints, we see Dr. Revolt and Zephyr not just as artists but as icons, their figures composed with the same care and respect as their own works. The settings are unmistakably urban, the backgrounds filled with the textures of the city that has been both their canvas and their muse. Powell's work captures the vibrancy and the impermanence of street art, a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of graffiti, constantly at the mercy of the elements and the changing cityscape. The limited edition photo archival pigment prints by Ricky Powell, featuring Dr. Revolt and Zephyr, bridge the gap between photography and graffiti, between the ephemeral and the eternal. These prints offer a window into the soul of street pop art and graffiti artwork, encapsulating the spirit, the history, and the visual dialogue of the streets. They are more than just images; they are a celebration of a movement, a chronicle of its pioneers, and a tribute to the indomitable spirit of street art. Ricky Powell's work ensures that the legacies of Dr. Revolt and Zephyr, and the moments they shared, are preserved against the relentless march of time, held forever in the stillness of the frame.

Street Art Pop Art & Graffiti Art

Today, graffiti is undergoing extreme institutionalization and commercialization, and the previously used "writer" tends to be replaced by the term "street artist." No matter these differences, though, one of the elements that have remained intact since the 1960s is the motivation of the artists to reach as many people as possible, whether this is realized on the streets or through museum exhibitions. From this aspect, street art is thriving more vigorously than ever and has gained the public's and critics' respect, who no longer treat it as outsider art. At the same time, the artist has gained recognition, and their art is worth millions of dollars. In other words, whether one focuses on commercializing street art as proof of degeneration and decay or as a revolutionary art still progressing and spreading social emancipation and activism is up for debate. Whatever opinion one has, in the end, graffiti is a vivid part of our culture, and it continues to be present not only in the art we consume but also in the advertisements we see, the clothes we wear, and, still, the streets we walk. Graffiti street art involves creating visual expressions or messages on public surfaces, such as walls, sidewalks, and buildings, using various mediums like spray paint, markers, and stencils. This art form has gained popularity over the years and has become a means for artists to express themselves and convey messages to the public. Graffiti street art can be seen as a form of rebellion against the norm, as it challenges the traditional idea of what art is supposed to be and where it belongs. Graffiti artists are often self-taught and use their unique style to create artwork. This style can range from abstract designs to intricate portraits and can be done in various colors and mediums. Many graffiti artists use their artwork to express political or social messages, often drawing attention to poverty, inequality, and racism. This art form has been used to promote societal awareness and change, often serving as a voice for the marginalized and underrepresented. However, graffiti street art is only sometimes embraced by society. Some view it as vandalism and destruction of property, leading to legal consequences for the artists. Graffiti artists often face criticism for their work, and some argue that it can contribute to urban blight and decrease property values. Despite the controversies surrounding graffiti street art, its popularity has continued to grow. Many cities have designated areas where graffiti artists can legally create their artwork, often as part of an effort to promote public art and beautify public spaces. Additionally, many galleries and museums now showcase graffiti street art, recognizing it as a legitimate art form. In conclusion, graffiti street art is a unique form of public art that has gained popularity for artists to express themselves and convey important messages. While it may face criticism from some, it has also been recognized and celebrated as a legitimate art form by many.

The Evolution of Graffiti Art and Prints in the Art Market

The trajectory of graffiti art and prints within the art market is a narrative of burgeoning acceptance and rising prestige. Once relegated to the fringes of the art world, the value and demand for works within the graffiti and street pop art sphere have seen a dramatic shift. The journey from the clandestine corners of urban landscapes to the polished floors of high-end galleries and auction houses is a testament to the changing perceptions and appetite for this once-underground art form. Graffiti art, rooted in the subversive countercultures of the 1960s and 70s, was initially viewed through a lens of illegality and vandalism. Artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, who started as SAMO© tagging buildings in New York, laid the groundwork for graffiti's entry into the art market. His evolution from a street artist to a darling of the art world in the 1980s marked a significant turning point. His work's raw, unfiltered energy captured the era's zeitgeist, leading to a growing collector base and setting the stage for future artists to break through the market. As the 90s and early 2000s approached, graffiti began to gain traction as a legitimate form of artistic expression. Galleries started to notice, and the first wave of collectors began to see beyond the art's controversial origins. Graffiti prints, easily distributable and collectible, became a means for artists to monetize their work without compromising their street-level ethos. This period saw a gradual shift in mindset, with graffiti art and prints becoming coveted items for contemporary art collectors.

The Current Market: A Flourishing Scene for Street Pop Art and Graffiti

The current market for street pop art and graffiti is vibrant and diverse. Once hesitant to engage with graffiti artists, auction houses like Sotheby's and Christie's now regularly feature their works, recognizing their cultural significance and investment potential. The proliferation of online platforms and social media has also democratized access to graffiti art, enabling artists to reach global audiences and sell their prints directly to enthusiasts and collectors. Today's market is characterized by its inclusivity, with collectors ranging from seasoned art investors to young fans eager to own a piece of the urban zeitgeist. Notably, the emergence of art fairs dedicated to street art and graffiti has played a crucial role in cementing the status of these artworks. Events such as the Beyond the Streets exhibition have showcased the historical significance and breadth of talent within the graffiti art community, further validating its place in the art market. The future graffiti art and print market appears robust, with indicators pointing to continued growth and innovation. Integrating digital technology, such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), opens new avenues for graffiti artists to explore and monetize their work. As the digital art market expands, graffiti art is poised to benefit from its inherently graphic and translatable nature, allowing it to move seamlessly between physical and digital spaces. Furthermore, the narrative of graffiti art is expanding to include social and political commentary, elevating its role from an aesthetic disruptor to a poignant voice in societal discourse. This evolution ensures that graffiti art remains relevant and reflects contemporary issues, which fuels its desirability and market value. The graffiti art and print market has come far from its underground beginnings. It now stands as a dynamic and integral part of the contemporary art world, with a bright and promising future. As long as cities have walls and artists have the drive to create, the legacy and economy of graffiti art will continue to thrive and push the boundaries of what is possible in the art world.

Graffiti Art: A Vibrant Aspect of Street Pop Art

Graffiti Art, often synonymous with Street Pop Art, represents a dynamic and vibrant artistic expression that has evolved significantly over the years. Initially perceived as vandalism, graffiti has transcended its controversial beginnings to become a respected and influential aspect of contemporary art. Graffiti artists use city walls, subways, and public spaces as their canvases, bringing color and social commentary to urban landscapes. This art form is characterized by its bold and striking imagery, often featuring stylized lettering and graphic illustrations. The raw, spontaneous nature of graffiti art reflects the artists' desire for self-expression and connection to the streets, making it an authentic representation of urban life. Graffiti Art Prints: Bringing Street Art Indoors As graffiti art gained recognition, the demand for graffiti art prints surged, allowing this outdoor art form to be appreciated in indoor spaces. Graffiti art prints are high-quality reproductions of original street art, often created by photographing the artwork and then printing it on various materials like canvas, paper, or metal. These prints enable art enthusiasts to own a piece of street culture without altering or damaging the original works. Graffiti art prints are popular among collectors and serve as an accessible way for the general public to engage with street art. They capture the essence of the original graffiti while offering versatility and the convenience of being displayed in personal or professional spaces. Graffiti Original Art: Authentic Expressions of Urban Culture Graffiti original art is the work created directly by the artists, typically on public surfaces. These original pieces are considered more valuable due to their authenticity and the artist's direct involvement. Graffiti original art often carries significant cultural and social messages, reflecting the artists' thoughts, aspirations, frustrations, and communities they represent. These works' spontaneous and impermanent nature adds to their appeal, as many are eventually painted over or destroyed, making existing pieces rare and sought-after. Collecting original graffiti art is not only about owning a unique piece of art; it's also about preserving a moment in the ever-changing landscape of urban culture.
