  • QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA- Ryan Callanan

RYCA- Ryan Callanan QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA- Ryan Callanan

QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA- Ryan Callanan Hand-Pulled 1-Color on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 9.75x9.75 Silkscreen Print RYCA's QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print: A Confluence of Technology and Street Pop Art The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA, also known as Ryan Callanan, is a striking example of how contemporary artists blend digital motifs with traditional printmaking techniques. RYCA's decision to capture the essence of a QR code, an emblem of the digital age, and transform it into a piece of street pop art & graffiti artwork is innovative and reflective of our times. The smiley face hidden within the code's design adds a layer of playfulness and nostalgia, reminding us of the early days of digital communication while commenting on technology's pervasive nature in modern life. This artwork, a 2022 limited edition of 50, has been created through the labor-intensive process of hand-pulled silkscreen printing. Each print, signed and numbered by the artist, measures 9.75x9.75 inches and is printed on fine art paper. The choice to work in a monochromatic palette emphasizes the starkness and immediacy of the QR code, contrasting the often colorful and chaotic imagery found in street art. However, this very simplicity allows the piece to stand out, offering a visual pause in the frenetic visual language of urban environments. RYCA's Artistic Journey and the Intersection with Street Art RYCA's journey as an artist has been marked by his ability to infuse familiar cultural icons with new meaning. By taking a universally recognizable symbol such as the QR code and embedding the iconic smiley face within it, he bridges the gap between art and the audience, making his work both accessible and engaging. This piece is a testament to RYCA's skill in using pop art sensibilities to comment on the intersection of technology and human emotion, a prevalent theme in the digital age. The limited run of this print makes it a coveted item for collectors and reinforces the transient nature of street art, where the rarity and location of a piece can significantly enhance its value and impact. RYCA's work is a reminder of the transient nature of graffiti artwork, often here today and gone tomorrow, mirroring the fleeting nature of digital information in the internet age. The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is more than a visual statement; it is a cultural artifact that encapsulates the zeitgeist of the 21st century. QR codes have become ubiquitous in our lives, a technical solution to a cultural desire for quick, seamless access to information. By incorporating this symbol into his art, RYCA comments on its pervasive nature and challenges the viewer to consider the relationship between the digital and physical worlds. With its minimalist aesthetic and conceptual depth, this print reflects a broader trend in street pop art & graffiti artwork, where artists are increasingly engaging with digital culture. RYCA's work is at the forefront of this movement, blending street art's immediacy with the connectivity of digital technology. RYCA's QR Code Smiley and Its Place in Modern Art As street pop art & graffiti artwork continue to evolve, artists like RYCA are leading the charge, breaking down barriers between art forms and exploring new mediums. The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is a powerful example of this evolution, where a technology tool is repurposed into a medium for artistic expression. The print represents RYCA's creative vision and a commentary on the increasingly blurred lines between the virtual and the real. In a world where digital interactions often replace physical ones, RYCA's print serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of tangible art in a digital age. It stands as a bridge between two seemingly disparate worlds, inviting the viewer to reflect on the role of art in a society dominated by screens and codes. RYCA's QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is a defining piece within the genre of street pop art & graffiti artwork, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of art, technology, and culture. Its existence as a limited edition print further underscores the value placed on originality and authenticity in art. Through this work, RYCA invites us to ponder the pervasive nature of digital symbols in our lives and how they can be reimagined through the lens of art.

  • Biohazard Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Blue 1

Saber Biohazard Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber

This Biohazard Neon Orange Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Original Acrylic Paint Art Drawing on Biohazard Label Sticker by Graffiti Artist Modern Street Artwork. 2020 Signed Original Slap Up Graffiti Art Tag 6x6 Acrylic Paint Tagged on Medical Biohazard Label Sticker. Neon High Visibility Orange Biohazard Symbol Uline label #S-20794. Exploring the Fusion of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork In the dynamic sphere of contemporary visual culture, street pop art and graffiti artwork stand out as potent forms of expression that encapsulate urban life's rhythm and raw sentiments. Among the luminaries of this genre is the renowned graffiti artist Saber, known for his striking contributions to the street art panorama. The piece under scrutiny is a vibrant example of his ingenuity—a 6x6 acrylic or marker piece tagged on a medical biohazard label sticker featuring a neon high visibility orange biohazard symbol from Uline label #S-20794. Distinctive Aesthetic of Saber's Tag Art Saber's original permanent marker art drawing on a mailing glossy arrow sticker presents a striking visual paradox. The neon orange of the biohazard symbol evokes a sense of caution, typically used to warn of dangerous substances. Contrasted with the blue drips of paint that appear haphazardly splashed across the surface, there is intentional defiance and palpable tension between structure and chaos. This work is a signed 2020 original slap-up graffiti art tag that showcases not just the artist's signature style but also his ability to transform ordinary objects into powerful statements. The choice of a biohazard label as a canvas is a commentary on the infectious nature of art and ideas. Saber effectively takes a symbol that denotes hazard and contamination and recontextualizes it within the aesthetic of street pop art. By doing so, he challenges the viewer to reconsider the connotations of biohazards, not just in the physical sense but in the metaphorical contagion of art in public spaces. Impact and Significance in Modern Street Art Saber is an American artist whose real name has been as influential in the graffiti community as the images he creates on walls and in galleries. His use of a mailing label as a medium is a nod to the guerrilla tactics of early street art culture, where quick, impactful statements were essential, and materials were often repurposed or found objects. This sticker art, often called a 'slap-up,' is a form of street art that is quickly applied, or 'slapped up,' onto a surface in a public space. It allows for transient yet assertive communication, echoing urban life's fast-paced and often impermanent nature. The neon orange and blue artwork transcends its simple components, becoming a canvas for a larger discourse on visibility, legality, and the permanence of art. As a form of street pop art, it retains the accessibility and mass appeal of pop culture while embedding itself in the more subversive and counter-cultural roots of graffiti. This duality is where its power lies; it is both a bold declaration and a subliminal whisper, a fixture on the streets that can be as quickly removed as it is noticed. In the context of graffiti artwork, Saber's biohazard label sticker becomes an artifact of the streets, a testament to the artist's ability to command attention and communicate through symbols and color. With its saturated hues and deliberate drips, the piece resonates with the energy of the streets and the people's voices. It is a piece that marks a physical space and stamps a moment in time, encapsulating the essence of street pop art in its ability to capture the pulse of contemporary urban life. The interplay of color, symbol, and medium in this piece illustrates the innovative potential of street pop art. Saber's work disrupts the monotony of urban environments, offering passersby a moment of aesthetic arrest amidst the concrete canvas of the city. In modern street artwork, such interventions are not just decorative but are vital narratives that articulate the identity and the undercurrents of a city's cultural dialogue. Through works like this, Saber and his contemporaries continue to influence the trajectory of street pop art, ensuring its evolution and relevance. They remind us that the streets remain a powerful platform for artistic expression, where the voices of the marginalized and the spirit of rebellion can find their visual lexicon. Saber's neon orange slap-up label sticker is not just a mark made with acrylic or marker; it is a statement, a challenge, and a vibrant echo of the energy that drives the city's heart.

  • Nothing Exists! Art Book by Cyrcle

Cyrcle Nothing Exists! Art Book by Cyrcle

Nothing Exists! Limited Edition art book with graffiti street artist modern pop artworks by Cyrcle. "This is a book of poetry...NOTHING EXISTS! is an exploration of the space between all that matters. Nothing exists is a philosophical quandary, a statement comprised of absolute polarities, in which its meaning is inherently dependent on one’s perception. This composition presents us with the opportunity to think critically. Whether abstract or rational this contradiction confronts us with a perplexing challenge, testing both our beliefs and knowledge. Somewhere between something and nothing exists a space of uncertainty. This moment is immeasurable, yet more substantial than that which is tangible. Nothing exists, it is waiting to be defined. Questioning this requires faith and fact. The more we understand that nothing is something, we realize nothing exists. See blind. Hear silence. Feel the truth." - Cyrcle

Featuring an 8.5x11-inch format, this signed and numbered edition of 50 presents an intimate yet impactful representation of the artist’s ability to reinterpret classic forms through a street-art lens. The Influence of Eames Design in Contemporary Urban Art Eames Chairs have long been an iconic symbol of modern furniture design, embodying innovation, functionality, and timeless style. Zane Thomas draws inspiration from this legacy, incorporating the sleek and recognizable forms of these chairs into his work. By using a street pop art and graffiti artwork approach, he transforms these pieces of furniture from utilitarian objects into symbols of artistic exploration. The juxtaposition of structured lines and the organic imperfections of silkscreen printing creates a dynamic contrast that reflects the balance between precision and spontaneity, a key characteristic of modern street art. Zane Thomas employs this traditional technique to bring his Eames Chairs to life, ensuring that each print carries a unique, handcrafted quality. The three-color palette is carefully chosen to accentuate the sleekness of the chair design while maintaining a raw, expressive energy typical of street art. The imperfections that naturally occur in the printing process add depth and texture, making each piece one-of-a-kind while staying true to the artist's graffiti-inspired aesthetic. The Intersection of Graffiti, Street Pop Art, and Mid-Century Modernism Zane Thomas’s Eames Chairs exemplifies the seamless blending of mid-century modernism with the rebellious energy of street pop art. The structured geometry of the chair design contrasts with the bold, urban influences seen in the print’s execution. This combination reflects a growing movement in contemporary art where traditional design motifs are reinterpreted through the lens of graffiti and street culture. Thomas’s work challenges conventional boundaries, proving that fine art, design, and urban expression can coexist harmoniously. Through this limited edition silkscreen print, he continues to push the dialogue between classic design and modern artistic movements, ensuring that both remain relevant in today’s visual landscape.

Mystic> New World Disorder Series Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Anthony Hurd Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "These pieces are part of what started as palette cleansers. I would take what is left of the paint from other pieces and just let loose with large strokes on a small board and see what comes of it. The first couple pieces I did like this were a couple of years ago and they were way less evolved. Purely strokes with just a touch of more graphic details. In the last year, I really started to build on them and build them out into whole new worlds. It’s a total exploration phase for me. In between the pieces I already had in the works this was an outlet to completely move freely. To my own surprise really they were a very successful exploration in many ways.

  • Harry Potter Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell Harry Potter Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Harry Potter Super Limited Edition Giclee Print on Fine Art Paper by Mike Mitchell Counter-Culture Street Artist. 2013 Signed & Numbered on Back Limited edition of 150 Artwork Size 4x6 Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell of Superman Clark Kent Pose Stylized with Harry Potter Movie Clothing. From Super Series. Harry Potter Super in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Mike Mitchell’s Harry Potter Super giclee print offers a striking fusion of pop culture and superhero iconography. Released in 2013 as a signed and numbered edition of 150, this 4x6-inch artwork is part of the artist’s celebrated Super Series. By merging the iconic imagery of Superman’s powerful stance with the instantly recognizable aesthetic of the Harry Potter franchise, Mitchell crafts a piece that is both playful and thought-provoking. The artwork blends elements of street pop art and graffiti artwork, resulting in a bold, graphic interpretation that transforms a beloved character into an unexpected heroic figure. Harry Potter Reimagined as a Superhero Harry Potter’s character has long been associated with resilience, destiny, and the battle between good and evil. However, Mitchell’s interpretation shifts the focus from the traditional image of the boy wizard to one that embodies exaggerated physical strength and confidence. By placing the character in the classic hands-on-hips Superman stance, the piece humorously suggests that Harry’s magic might not be his only source of power. The oversized muscular body juxtaposed with Harry’s head and traditional Hogwarts uniform creates an intentionally absurd contrast. This humorous exaggeration emphasizes themes of transformation and identity, two core elements present in both comic book superheroes and the Harry Potter series. The reimagined portrait invites viewers to consider how society defines power and heroism while simultaneously poking fun at the idolization of both superheroes and literary figures. Mike Mitchell’s Satirical Approach to Iconography Mitchell is known for his ability to deconstruct cultural icons and present them in ways that challenge traditional perceptions. His Super Series is a prime example of this, featuring various pop culture figures placed into the exaggerated physique and pose typically associated with Superman. The result is a series that humorously critiques the rigid expectations of heroism while celebrating the enduring popularity of these characters. The Harry Potter Super piece follows this trend, emphasizing the unlikely combination of a young wizard and the exaggerated muscular structure often seen in vintage comic book heroes. The choice to retain elements of Harry’s Gryffindor uniform while exaggerating his proportions further enhances the absurdity, making it clear that the artwork is both a loving tribute and a sharp satire of the way pop culture builds mythologies around fictional characters. Why This Artwork Resonates in Pop Culture Mitchell’s work aligns perfectly with the principles of street pop art and graffiti artwork, which often take mainstream imagery and reimagine it in bold, subversive ways. This print speaks to the intersection of fantasy and comic book fandoms, offering a visual joke that is immediately recognizable to fans of both genres. The stark contrast between Harry’s traditional image and the hyper-masculine Superman stance underscores the ways in which heroism is visually and culturally constructed. Collectors of pop culture-inspired artwork will appreciate this piece for its clever fusion of two beloved franchises. The limited edition nature of the print enhances its value, ensuring that it remains a sought-after work within the world of contemporary street pop art. Whether viewed as a playful critique of superhero tropes or a lighthearted celebration of Harry Potter’s enduring legacy, this print captures the humor, nostalgia, and subversion that define Mitchell’s approach to art.

Camille Rose Garcia: A Master of Pop Surrealism Camille Rose Garcia’s artistic style is instantly recognizable for its intricate linework, eccentric characters, and gothic undertones. Born in 1970 in Los Angeles, Garcia’s work often reflects her fascination with societal structures, environmental concerns, and consumerist excess. By combining these themes with whimsical, childlike imagery, she creates a visual language that is both accessible and subversive. The Funicular print features a beast-like creature piloting a peculiar vehicle, which evokes both humor and curiosity. The exaggerated expressions and playful setting invite the viewer to explore a world where the bizarre meets the beautiful. The character’s gleeful yet mischievous demeanor speaks to Garcia’s ability to create layered narratives that oscillate between lighthearted and deeply introspective. This piece, like much of her work, embodies the ethos of Street Pop Art by mixing approachable visuals with underlying social commentary. The Artistic Value of Letterpress Printing Letterpress printing, a traditional technique, adds a layer of tactile richness to the Funicular print. The process involves pressing inked plates into fine art paper, creating a textured, embossed effect that enhances the artwork’s depth and dimensionality. The choice of Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, known for its high quality and durability, ensures that the intricate details of the piece are preserved while offering a luxurious feel. The single-color palette, rendered in bold black ink, accentuates the intricate linework and the surreal charm of the illustration. Garcia’s decision to work with a minimalist color scheme allows the viewer to focus on the composition and the personality of the beastly driver, making this print a masterclass in simplicity and impact. Funicular as a Representation of Street Pop Art Funicular is a quintessential example of Camille Rose Garcia’s ability to blur the lines between fantasy, fine art, and Street Pop Art. The whimsical subject matter, paired with the deliberate choice of traditional printing methods, highlights her skill in balancing the contemporary with the classic. The deckled edges of the paper further enhance the piece’s artisanal quality, making it a collector’s item that feels both timeless and modern. The limited edition of 100 adds to the exclusivity of this artwork, appealing to fans of Street Pop Art, modern surrealism, and fine printmaking. Funicular is more than an illustration; it is a celebration of imagination, craftsmanship, and the enduring appeal of the absurd. Camille Rose Garcia’s playful yet poignant approach to art shines through in this print, making it an essential piece for collectors who appreciate the intersection of whimsy and sophistication.

The Visual Style and Influence of Todd Slater Todd Slater is widely recognized for his ability to merge music and visual art, crafting concert posters that go beyond promotional material to become collectible art pieces. His work often explores themes of nostalgia, surrealism, and the uncanny, making use of detailed textures, bold contrasts, and intricate compositions. The Clap Your Hands Say Yeah print exemplifies these elements, drawing viewers into an almost psychedelic experience with its vibrant hues and striking subject matter. The mechanical monkey, a recurring motif in vintage toys, creates an unsettling yet playful atmosphere. The exaggerated grin, intense eyes, and bold stripes evoke an era of carnival oddities and early animation, blending nostalgia with an underlying sense of unease. This tension is a key element of street pop art and graffiti artwork, which often seeks to provoke thought, challenge norms, and push the boundaries of visual storytelling. Gig Posters as a Form of Street Pop Art Concert posters have long been a crucial medium within street pop art, serving as both functional advertisements and artistic expressions. Unlike traditional fine art prints, these posters are deeply tied to music culture, often reflecting the mood, sound, and aesthetic of the bands they represent. The Clap Your Hands Say Yeah print follows this tradition, encapsulating the band’s energetic, genre-defying style through its bold design and dynamic composition. Artists like Slater transform these gig posters into collectible works by utilizing high-quality paper, hand-pulled screenprinting techniques, and limited edition runs. This approach ensures that each piece is unique and sought after by both music fans and art collectors. The connection between live performance and visual storytelling is a defining feature of street pop art, bridging music and design in a way that resonates across different creative communities. The Legacy of This Limited Edition Print With its vibrant aesthetic and layered symbolism, Todd Slater’s Clap Your Hands Say Yeah silkscreen print remains a notable piece in the world of modern pop art. The limited edition nature of the print, combined with Slater’s signature artistic approach, makes it a valuable collectible for fans of the band and enthusiasts of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork. As concert posters continue to gain recognition as fine art, works like this one highlight the enduring impact of music-inspired visuals. The fusion of bold design, intricate detailing, and thematic storytelling ensures that pieces like this not only commemorate a specific moment in music history but also stand as independent works of art, worthy of admiration and preservation.

This giclée print, a limited edition of only ten signed and numbered pieces, captures a stark monochromatic skull entwined with elements that suggest the aftermath of indulgence and the inescapable passage of time. Measuring 8x10 inches and printed on 80lb White Cougar Cover Stock Fine Art Paper, the piece is a testament to Russler's intricate style and ability to communicate powerful messages through his art. The artwork's compelling imagery is rich with symbolism. Russler's use of crisp, fine lines and careful shading adds a depth that brings the skull to life, almost allowing the viewer to peer into the soul that once was. The attention to detail in the textures—from the smoothness of the bottle to the roughness of the bone—demonstrates Russler's mastery over his medium. Cultural Commentary through "Drunken & Sunken" "Drunken & Sunken" is a cultural commentary reflective of the darker aspects of society that pop culture, street art, and graffiti often explore. Russler's work challenges viewers to confront the often-romanticized view of hedonism and to acknowledge the potential for decay and destruction that comes with excess. The piece resonates with the stark realities of human frailty and the consequences of our choices, themes that are universally understood yet often left unspoken. In the context of street pop art and graffiti artwork, "Drunken & Sunken" transcends the ephemeral nature of wall art, carrying the transient messages from the streets into the permanence of fine art collections. The use of 80lb White Cougar Cover Stock Fine Art Paper ensures that the print will endure, allowing the artwork's message and aesthetic appeal to be preserved for future generations to appreciate and reflect upon. • Chaplin British Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell Chaplin British Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Chaplin British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print on Fine Art Paper by Mike Mitchell Counter-Culture Street Artist. 2013 Signed & Numbered on Back Limited edition of 100 Artwork Size 4x6 Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell of Superman Clark Kent Pose Stylized with Chaplin of England Vintage Movie Fame. Chaplin British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell Mike Mitchell’s Chaplin British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print is a fascinating intersection of nostalgia, pop culture, and contemporary satire. This 2013 signed and numbered limited edition print, measuring 4x6 inches, belongs to Mitchell’s celebrated Super Series, a collection of works where iconic figures are humorously reimagined in Superman’s signature pose. By merging Charlie Chaplin’s classic persona with the stance of a superhero, Mitchell playfully comments on power, perception, and cultural history through the lens of street pop art and graffiti artwork. The Influence of Charlie Chaplin in Visual Art Charlie Chaplin, one of the most recognizable figures in film history, represents silent-era cinematic genius and social commentary through performance. His iconic look, including the bowler hat, mustache, and cane, made him a universally recognized character, blending humor with deep societal critiques. Mitchell’s stylized rendition takes Chaplin’s vintage aesthetic and fuses it with a bold, muscular superhero pose, reinforcing the idea that Chaplin himself was a cultural titan—without needing the conventional hero’s physique. The flat illustration style, crisp lines, and exaggerated contrast reflect a modern street pop art aesthetic, drawing from comic book traditions and satirical reinterpretations of historic figures. Street Pop Art and the Transformation of Cultural Icons Mitchell's Super Series embodies the tradition of street pop art and graffiti artwork, where established figures are often reframed, exaggerated, or juxtaposed with modern themes. In this case, Chaplin, known for his silent comedy and subtle activism, is given the stance of a comic book superhero, hinting at the power of humor as a form of social resistance. The influence of comic book visuals, paired with the rebellious undertones of street art, makes this piece a perfect fusion of old and new artistic expressions. The black-and-white palette pays homage to Chaplin’s silent film era, reinforcing the historical reference while making it instantly recognizable to contemporary audiences. Satire and Nostalgia in Modern Pop Culture Art Mitchell’s work often plays with the balance between nostalgia and satire, reminding viewers that our cultural heroes evolve over time. Chaplin’s influence extends far beyond silent films, as his characters, mannerisms, and themes of human struggle and perseverance continue to resonate in modern storytelling and artistic movements. This Super Limited Edition Giclee Print is more than just an illustration—it is a playful yet insightful commentary on how pop culture immortalizes figures through reinterpretation. Mitchell’s ability to blend fine art, comic book stylization, and street pop art techniques makes this Chaplin British Super Giclee Print a unique collectible for art enthusiasts, film historians, and fans of counter-culture creativity.

  • Queen British Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell Queen British Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Queen British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print on Fine Art Paper by Mike Mitchell Counter-Culture Street Artist. 2013 Signed & Numbered on Back Limited edition of 100 Artwork Size 4x6 Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell of Superman Clark Kent Pose Stylized with Elizabeth II Queen of England Queen British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell Mike Mitchell's Queen British Super Limited Edition Giclee Print stands as a bold and humorous reimagination of iconic leadership blended with street pop art and graffiti artwork aesthetics. This 2013 signed and numbered limited edition print, measuring 4x6 inches, takes a satirical yet respectful approach in stylizing Queen Elizabeth II within the framework of Superman’s iconic pose. Part of Mitchell’s renowned Super Series, this piece transforms the traditional figure of royal authority into a symbol of modern strength, satire, and artistic rebellion. The Super Series and Pop Culture Deconstruction Mitchell’s Super Series has been widely recognized for its playful reinterpretation of well-known figures, placing them into the classic superhero pose with hands firmly on hips, an expression of unwavering confidence and power. By taking influential figures such as Elizabeth II and merging them with comic-book visual tropes, the artist bridges the gap between historical reverence and contemporary irreverence. In this piece, the Queen is depicted wearing her traditional royal attire, complete with a crown, sash, gloves, and a formal pink dress, yet standing in the definitive superhero stance. The contrast between the soft elegance of her regal clothing and the strong, assertive posture creates an amusing, yet striking commentary on leadership, authority, and cultural perception. The vibrant yet simplistic color palette, clean lines, and flat illustration style reflect the bold aesthetics of street pop art and graffiti artwork, where exaggeration and iconography take precedence over realism. Royalty Meets Counter-Culture Street Pop Art Street pop art and graffiti artwork often challenge societal norms, figures of power, and cultural expectations, making Queen Elizabeth II a particularly intriguing subject within this movement. Mitchell’s piece does not seek to mock royalty outright but rather humanizes and recontextualizes the role of monarchy in a modern, media-driven world. As a counter-culture artist, Mitchell has frequently worked within comic-book aesthetics, social satire, and minimalist yet expressive character portrayals. The juxtaposition of historical figures with pop-culture influences highlights how both royal and superhero figures function within public consciousness as symbols of power, resilience, and tradition. The Influence of Satirical Reinterpretation in Modern Art This Super Limited Edition Giclee Print exists in a long-standing tradition of satirical pop culture reinterpretation. From Andy Warhol’s vibrant silkscreen portraits of political leaders to Banksy’s stenciled royal figures, artists have consistently challenged and redefined the way authority is depicted in visual culture. Mitchell’s work aligns with this history, offering a lighthearted yet impactful visual statement that encourages viewers to reconsider the intersection between authority, pop culture, and artistic representation. As a signed and numbered edition of 100, this Queen British Super Giclee Print is a must-have for collectors of street pop art and graffiti artwork, encapsulating a unique fusion of history, satire, and contemporary illustration. Whether appreciated for its humor, cultural critique, or sheer artistic flair, this piece solidifies Mike Mitchell’s place as a leading voice in modern visual storytelling.

  • Dredd Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell Dredd Super Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell

Dredd Super Limited Edition Giclee Print on Fine Art Paper by Mike Mitchell Counter-Culture Street Artist. 2013 Signed & Numbered on Back Limited edition of 125 Artwork Size 4x6 Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell of Superman Clark Kent Pose Stylized with Judge Dredd Movie Clothing. From Super Series. Dredd Super Limited Edition Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell The fusion of iconic pop culture figures with contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork has resulted in some of the most striking and thought-provoking imagery in modern art. The Dredd Super Limited Edition Giclee Print by Mike Mitchell reimagines one of the most infamous dystopian law enforcers, Judge Dredd, within the stylistic framework of Mitchell’s distinctive aesthetic. Released in 2013 as part of the Super Series, this signed and numbered 4x6-inch fine art print offers a bold reworking of the Superman pose with a powerful, streetwise edge. The Street Pop Art Influence in the Super Series Mike Mitchell’s Super Series redefines the notion of superheroes, taking well-known figures from comics, films, and pop culture and reconstructing them in a simplified yet exaggerated form. The essence of this series is an interplay between nostalgia and satire, merging classic heroism with contemporary street pop art influences. His Dredd Giclee Print maintains this theme by taking the rigid, no-nonsense authority of Judge Dredd and placing it within a playful but bold visual context. This print embodies the gritty urban aesthetic that both graffiti and street pop art thrive on. The visual elements—clean outlines, comic-book stylization, and the incorporation of bold, flat colors—recall traditional street poster techniques. The depiction of Dredd’s uniform, iconic helmet, and armor plating is faithful to the original yet stylized with a contemporary, almost animated edge, enhancing the contrast between pop culture homage and counter-culture subversion. The Symbolism of Judge Dredd in Street Art Judge Dredd, originating from the pages of 2000 AD, represents a totalitarian dystopia where law enforcement is absolute. His character has long been a symbol of authoritarian control, making him a frequent subject in street pop art and graffiti artwork. In urban art, Dredd’s presence often conveys themes of power, resistance, and the blurred lines between justice and oppression. Mitchell’s reinterpretation removes some of the grimness traditionally associated with Dredd but retains his iconic stance—arms firmly on his hips, chest puffed out, an unwavering figure of control. This stance is a direct reference to the classic Superman pose, an interesting juxtaposition given that Superman is often seen as an unwavering beacon of justice, whereas Dredd represents an unrelenting and unforgiving enforcer of the law. This contrast elevates the piece, inviting viewers to consider the nuanced relationship between law, power, and heroism. Mike Mitchell’s Artistic Legacy in Contemporary Pop Art As a counter-culture street pop artist, Mitchell has established a reputation for his ability to transform mainstream characters into satirical, minimalist, yet emotionally resonant icons. His work often draws from comic book lore, film characters, and pop culture phenomena, presenting them in a stripped-down yet expressive format. His ability to balance humor, critique, and pop sensibilities ensures that his work resonates with collectors, street art enthusiasts, and fans of contemporary illustration. The Dredd Super Giclee Print is a testament to this approach, seamlessly blending comic-book heroism, street pop art aesthetics, and social commentary into a single powerful image. Limited to 125 signed and numbered prints, this piece is not just a pop culture homage but a work of modern urban art that engages audiences on multiple levels. Whether viewed as a tribute to Judge Dredd’s unyielding presence or as a reflection on power and control in society, this artwork encapsulates the energy and depth of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork.

Saber Neon Pink Black Widow Spider HPM Mixed Media Unique by Saber

Neon Pink Black Widow Spider HPM Mixed Media Unique by Saber Hand-Painted Ink, Colored Pencils, Marker, Highlighter on Fine Art Paper Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art.  2023 Signed & Numbered Mixed Unique Edition Original Series Edition of 25 HPM Hand-Drawn Pen Ink, Highlighter Marker, Marker, and Colored Pencils Artwork Size 3.5x3 Mini Drawing of the Pink Spiders & Black Widow Spider. Includes Hand Painted & Tagged Cardboard. Intersecting Nature and Urban Expression in Saber's Art The 'Neon Pink Black Widow Spider HPM Mixed Media Unique' series is a stunning representation of street pop art's versatility and depth, created by the renowned graffiti artist Saber. This 2023 collection, a numbered series of 25 unique hand-painted multiples (HPM), features miniature 3.5x3 inch drawings of black widow spiders rendered in a striking neon pink. These pieces are accompanied by hand-painted and tagged cardboard, combining natural motifs and urban art sensibilities. Saber's Mixed Media Mastery Saber, an artist whose works are embedded in the DNA of modern street art, utilizes a diverse range of materials such as pen ink, highlighter, marker, and colored pencils to bring these arachnids to life. The neon pink is arresting and symbolic, challenging the viewer's perceptions of danger and attraction. In the natural world, bright colors often serve as a warning, and in the urban landscape, they demand attention – a parallel that Saber skillfully draws upon in his artwork. The inclusion of hand-painted cardboard adds an element of raw authenticity to the series. Cardboard, a ubiquitous and often discarded material, is transformed into a valuable part of the art, questioning the hierarchy of materials and the value assigned to different mediums. This approach is emblematic of street pop art's capacity to elevate the mundane and to find beauty in the overlooked. Themes of Survival and Beauty Black widow spiders are creatures that evoke a mixture of fear and fascination. Saber taps into this duality, using the spiders as a metaphor for resilience and the delicate balance between beauty and danger. This narrative is particularly resonant within the context of street pop art and graffiti artwork, where the act of creation itself is often a form of survival and defiance. The spiders, set against Saber's signature tags backdrop, embody the tension inherent in street art – the push and pull between legality and expression, between the individual artist and the broader community. Through his neon pink black widows, Saber invites a dialogue about the interplay between instincts and urban environments and the instinctual drive to leave a mark through silk webs or spray paint.

  • Priority Mail 228-2016 Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Red 1

Saber Priority Mail 228-2016 Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber

Priority Mail 228-2016 Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Original Permanent Drawing Art on USPS Mailing Label by Graffiti Artist Modern Street Artwork. 2020 Signed by Tag Original Slap Up Graffiti Art Tag 4.25x5.5 Color Marker on USPS United States Postal Service Priority Mail Label 228-2016.  Priority Mail 228 Labels: Slap-Up Canvas for the Streets Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork have become synonymous with urban landscapes' raw, vibrant, and often controversial energy. Amongst the most captivating forms of this art is the slap-up label sticker, a brief piece that combines the guerrilla tactics of street art with the aesthetic approach of pop art. These stickers, often found adorning city walls, lampposts, and mailboxes, carry the pulse of the streets and the artist's signature. The United States Postal Service's Priority Mail 228 label is a particularly iconic medium within this genre. Initially intended for postal use, artists have repurposed these labels as canvases for their work. With its distinctive red, white, and blue design, the label offers an instantly recognizable backdrop deeply rooted in American iconography. This juxtaposition of official symbolism with the rebellious nature of graffiti creates a powerful, provocative, and patriotic visual statement. Graffiti artists like Saber have transformed these labels into vehicles of personal expression and social commentary. Saber, an American artist named Ryan Weston Shook, is known for his work within the graffiti community and beyond. His involvement with the art form dates back to the 1990s, and he has since become a notable figure in the street art world.  Tag Art: Marking Presence and Identity Tagging, which involves writing one's alias or signature in a stylized form, is central to graffiti culture. It's a means of claiming territory, asserting identity, and engaging with the public in a dialogue often unmediated by gallery spaces' conventions. The Saber piece utilizes a blue permanent marker to create a tangle of lines and shapes that coalesce into his distinctive tag. Measuring 4.25x5.5 inches, this slap-up label sticker is a quintessential example of tag art, embodying the spontaneity and personal touch that are hallmarks of the genre. Created in 2020 and signed by the artist, this piece carries the weight of authenticity and the immediacy of street art. Despite its small scale, the tag commands attention, with the intensity of the blue marker standing bold against the label's pre-printed elements. The label's date, March 2016, provides a temporal context, anchoring the artwork in a specific moment of Saber's artistic journey. The cultural significance of slap-up label art lies in its accessibility and transience. These stickers can be produced en masse and placed in various locations, allowing for a wide distribution of the artist's work. However, their lifespan is unpredictable, as they can easily be removed or destroyed, mirroring the fleeting nature of fame and public attention in the digital age. Saber's use of the Priority Mail 228 label is a nod to a tradition in street art that values the repurposing of everyday items into something extraordinary. The label's transformation from a mundane postal accessory into a piece of art disrupts the ordinary and challenges the viewer to see the extraordinary in the everyday. This quality places slap-up label art firmly within the canon of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, genres that continually redefine themselves through unconventional materials and methods. The Priority Mail 228 Slap-Up Label Sticker by Saber is more than just a piece of art; it is a statement, a piece of cultural fabric, and a reflection of the artist's presence in the urban landscape. As with much of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, it encapsulates a moment in time, a burst of creative energy, and a dialogue with the public that is as vibrant and dynamic as the streets from which it was born.

Inexpensive Artworks
Pop art, street art, and graffiti art have become increasingly popular over the last few decades, often celebrated for their vibrant, thought-provoking, and rebellious nature. What makes these art forms particularly fascinating is their accessibility and the relatively low cost of creating them compared to traditional fine art. This affordability has allowed a wide range of artists to contribute to these movements, turning city streets into canvases that capture the democratic spirit of the art world. Graffiti art, with its roots in the gritty urban landscapes of the 1970s, is historically the voice of the marginalized, a form of artistic expression that is inherently public and often unauthorized. Spray paint, the medium for graffiti artists, is relatively inexpensive and portable, allowing for spontaneous bursts of creativity. Artists like Banksy, whose works have gained international acclaim, began with the same tools as any novice graffiti artist, pointing to the low barrier to entry in this form of artistic expression. The transient nature of graffiti also means that artworks can be ephemeral, subject to the whims of city clean-up crews or the elements, which in turn often imbues the work with a sense of urgency and poignancy. In a similar vein, street art has become a prominent feature in many urban environments, celebrated for its ability to transform bland public spaces into areas of visual interest and social commentary. Unlike graffiti, street art is often created with the permission of property owners and can take on a variety of forms, from murals to installations. While still accessible, street art can involve a broader range of materials and techniques, sometimes requiring more investment. However, the use of affordable materials like posters, stencils, and stickers keeps this art form within reach for many budding artists. It is common to see vibrant street art districts in cities around the world where artists display their work, often selling it at prices that appeal to a broad audience. Pop art, while it can be seen as the commercial cousin to the street and graffiti art, also has its roots in the idea of art for the masses. Artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein drew from popular culture and mass-produced items, such as soup cans and comic strips, to create their art. This form of art often uses techniques such as silkscreen printing, which is conducive to producing multiple copies and thus can be sold at lower prices. The replication of images in pop art is a deliberate nod to mass production, making statements about consumerism while also benefiting from its methods to reach a wider audience. These art forms represent a democratization of art, where the idea and the statement it makes can be as valuable, if not more so, than the materials from which it is made. This principle challenges traditional notions of value in art, where scarcity and the prestige of the artist can inflate prices to inaccessible heights. Instead, inexpensive artworks in pop, street, and graffiti art speak to a more inclusive approach. They allow a broad swath of society to engage with and even own pieces of cultural significance without the prohibitive costs associated with galleries and fine art auctions. Accessibility and public engagement are at the core of these art movements. Artists within these genres have been successful in utilizing inexpensive methods and materials to not only bring art into public spaces but also to comment on the very nature of art itself. The economic approachability of these works serves to reinforce the messages conveyed by the artists—messages about society, culture, and the spaces we share. It is through this lens that inexpensive artworks continue to shape the cultural landscape, providing a platform for dialogue and a mirror to the world we live in.
