011|110- 22 x 22 Archival Pigment Print
Purchase 011|110- 22 x 22 Limited Edition Hand-Embellished HPM Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Jason Seife graffiti street artist modern pop art. "The overall theme of this series was overcoming obstacles and tough times to reach a greater goal, this piece, in particular, referencing the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, which to some may seem like a direct religious or biblical reference, but it, in fact, can be related to our everyday life in the feeling of betrayal which is something we have to deal with from friends, coworkers and sometimes even family/loved ones. It's a very tough thing to get over, and something I wanted to transcend into my painting. This piece, like a lot of my work, was inspired by a renaissance painting. In this case, it was a Caravaggio piece. Coming from a background in graphic design and just design in general, aesthetically I like playing off of symmetry and geometric shapes which bring a more modern take on the renaissance style. Presenting styles in a way our eyes aren't accustomed to viewing them is something that intrigues me." - Jason

808 Silkscreen
Purchase 808 Limited Edition 4-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Scott Grooves graffiti street artist modern pop art. “This piece is inspired by the 808 drum machine, and while the average person looking at this piece may not know this, that's ok with me. I kinda like the esoteric approach with my works. That’s why sometimes it takes me a long period of time to come up with something new.The idea came about because I have always liked the 808 drum machine’s buttons. So my graphics guy Barry and I sat down one day and hashed this out together. I had been talking about a clock the previous week so he said ‘what about a clock’ then I added let’s make the time coincide with the name of the drum machine, and everything fell into place perfectly.I’m not one for the obvious, but I do like simplicity with some wit. The piece was originally created in 2013 as a wearable art piece, but this is my first art print ever offered to the public, and I hope people see that art and time can coexist and be pleasing to the eye.” - Scott Grooves

A Gentle Breeze Archival Pigment Print
Purchase A Gentle Breeze Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 300gsm Museum Natural Fine Art Paper by Adam Miller graffiti street artist modern pop art. "This piece was glazed and developed in the techniques of The Venetian Masters. It is part of the series that I did title Among the Ruins which is about rebirth and regeneration from destruction. I am very inspired by the idea of mythology as the personification of the cycles of nature and the inspiration for most of our art and stories. In this piece the child represents new creative life while the desolate setting reflects the end of the old cycle of life." - Adam Miller

With this painting I chose to focus on color painting and composition unlike the series of monochromatic paintings I produced in Berlin 2011."The idea came to me when I was watching a street performer hold a similar freeze, his balance and strength impressed me so much I sketched out several variations of him until I found the right interpretation." - Mare139

All Aboard Archival Pigment Print
Purchase All Aboard Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by David Lyle graffiti street artist modern pop art. "This painting is part of my current show titled 'Everyone's a critic." This series presents a caustic commentary on the art world and what mystifies the public about the art world – art that is not made by the artists themselves, money as an end game, art-speak, etc. The idea behind this piece is basically about the acceptance and commercialization of graffiti. Where in the past, graffiti was looked at as an illegal eyesore to the public and now it is adorned and used in the main stream media, sold as fine art and used for commercial purposes." - David Lyle

Denial- Daniel Bombardier American Expression Silkscreen Print by Denial- Daniel Bombardier
Purchase American Expression Limited Edition 6-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on 300gsm French Speckletone Fine Art Paper by Denial graffiti street artist modern pop art. n 2000 he adopted the moniker ‘DENIAL’ as a means of poking fun at advertising, politics, and media messages that contemporary society is often ‘in denial’ about. Since then he has maintained an ongoing global street-campaign of over 500, 000 stickers, placards, and murals, using the alpha-numeric characters ‘D3N!@L’. Intended as a conceptual means of marketing absurdism, DENIAL also challenges traditional notions of graffiti and public art through his bold and often satirical visual subversions. Denial is a Canadian artist who experiments with aerosol and stencil art, while his main fields of interest are consumerism, politics and the human condition in today’s society. Since the culture of graffiti was gaining more and more popularity in the US and Europe, the taggers had to be increasingly original in order to stand out. The signatures became bigger, more stylized and more colorful.

We have explored the Totemic style in this release to carry these messages and to create a visually beautiful way to express an abstract idea or to convey and meaning not explicitly set out in the narrative. Angles Of Elevation Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Angles Of Elevation Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 300gsm Fine Art Paper by Vans The Omega graffiti street artist modern pop art. "‘Angles of Elevation’ was the prize geometric piece of my recent show "Into The Light" and is the amalgamation of the past 7 years of trial and error, research and development painting geometric illusion within my fine artworks both in the studio and on large scale walls. I think this piece represents discovery within and the journey we make during life. The science behind geometry in the healing arts isn’t readily taught but is something I have spent many years studying and being open to on a personal and professional level. My belief and knowledge of the healing power that Art creates is a large goal of my practice in Art, both for others and myself alike. Apart from the piece serving an aesthetic appeal, the greatest aim is to reveal something about yourself while taking in the work. Visually this work came together through a series of visions that I have strived to fulfill. The dimension of this piece was my greatest challenge while giving a mixture of etheric and harder edges to push and pull the eye through space so that harmony is met." - Vans The Omega

Anti-Graffiti Propaganda Case Study No.1 Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Anti-Graffiti Propaganda Case Study No.1 Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Roger Gastman graffiti street artist modern pop art. "This piece continues within the Tools of Criminal Mischief series of spray paint cans and markers prints that I've been doing with 1xRun. I have a large collection of anti-graffiti paraphernalia: pamphlets, signs, pins, tee shirts, etc. This image was revisited and fine-tuned in 2013 but it's taken years and years of collecting and digging along with close friends sending me stuff. I am always on the hunt for more. A few years ago, Caleb Neelon and I wrote a book for Harper Collins, "The History of American Graffiti" and the endsheet patterns for that book were a collage of the items on this print. Whenever I give someone the book or they see it somewhere, they love the end sheet patterns and want to know more about it and how I got all of the items. I decided to open the files back up and add some color and re-envision the design to create a collage of the anti-graffiti propaganda. " - Roger Gastman

As I Live and Breathe Archival Pigment Print
Purchase As I Live and Breathe> New World Disorder Series Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Anthony Hurd graffiti street artist modern pop art. "These pieces are part of what started as palette cleansers. I would take what is left of the paint from other pieces and just let loose with large strokes on a small board and see what comes of it. The first couple pieces I did like this were a couple of years ago and they were way less evolved. Purely strokes with just a touch of more graphic details. In the last year, I really started to build on them and build them out into whole new worlds. It’s a total exploration phase for me. In between the pieces I already had in the works this was an outlet to completely move freely. To my own surprise really they were a very successful exploration in many ways.

As The Crow Flies Archival Pigment Print
Purchase As The Crow Flies Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Ben Horton graffiti street artist modern pop art. "I originally created this piece for a show in Oceanside, California called Landline. The show was loosely based on the pros and cons of communication between people in today’s society, one of the pros being the way some people get straight to the point during a conversation. Likewise, crows have the freedom to fly from point A to B, without being forced to take needless twists and turns. The background is a mixture of 1950s and 60’s automobile ads and car part blueprints representing the seemingly endless twists and turns we are forced to take while driving from point A to B. But a car can also represent a type of freedom as well: being able to go wherever you want whenever you want. The fence is a representation of boundaries that take away our freedom." - Ben Horton

Avenge Me Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Avenge Me Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Museum Fine Art Paper by Meggs graffiti street artist modern pop art. "This piece was part of my 2014 solo show ‘Spoiled Rotten.’ It’s part of a series of hand-painted heroes over sourced old-school style target posters, which are then torn and collaged with a combination of found billposters and hand screen printed retro comic collages. All made during my month-long residency with Inner State Gallery in Detroit. The split between traditional ‘bad guy criminal’ & Captain America reflects the classic comic narrative of Hero vs Villain, however, the distressed style & execution of the piece references the fragile nature of moral ideals and social justice in contemporary American society." - Meggs

Barrels Of Fun- 18 x 15 Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Barrels Of Fun- 18 x 15 Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Bob Dob graffiti street artist modern pop art. 2016 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 18x15 "This painting was created for my solo show last November called “Exit Home.” The narrative for the show was how numb the general public has become to violence through our entertainment. I took two very recognizable pop culture characters, Mario and Luigi, and removed them from their world and put them into ours as LA gang members. My studio mate at the time was Greg Simkins who helped with the graffiti. All the paintings from the show had elements of L.A. gang culture but this piece “Barrels of Fun” focused on the whole story in one shot.I tried to bring in as many characters from Super Mario Bros as I could. Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, and Princess Peach are in the front car with Bowser and some Koopas getting blown up and a few Goombas hanging out on the street." - Bob Dob

"Nothing exists is a philosophical quandary, a statement comprised of absolute polarities, in which its meaning is inherently dependent on one\'s perception. This composition presents us with the opportunity to think critically. Whether abstract or rational this contradiction confronts us with a perplexing challenge, testing both our beliefs and knowledge. Somewhere between something and nothing exists a space of uncertainty. This moment is immeasurable, yet more substantial than that which is tangible. Nothing exists, it is waiting to be defined. Questioning this requires faith and fact. The more we understand that nothing is something, we realize that nothing exists.." - Cyrcle

Burned Out HPM Hand-Embellished
Purchase Burned Out Original Hand-Painted Multiple (HPM) on Acrylic on Laser Etched Wood Panel by Derek Hess graffiti street artist modern pop art. This 'Burned Out' is burned or etched into the wood, the red on the arms I laid down with a wire brush, I worked fast with the crude tools to keep the feel consistent with the rest of the piece. The first laser-etched piece done with 1xRUN, Hemorrhage, came out so nice and true to the original that another one would be cool to try. Burned Out was a no-brainer, it's burned out.. What is cool about these pieces is they are all part of an edition, all the figures are handled the same, so it is a true edition. But at the same time, each one is unique because the red is different on everyone. What I find very cool about this piece is you get a unique one of a kind signed and numbered edition print, it's the best of both worlds." - Derek Hess

Butterfly Trap Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Butterfly Trap Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Steven Lopez graffiti street artist modern pop art. "I’ve been exploring the monarch butterfly pattern on my portraits and while I enjoyed that aspect I wanted to understand how I could use it in other situations. I first drew the figure in my sketchbook while looking at the muse. I liked the flow of the drawing and pondered how I could use it in a painting. A few days later I came up with the idea while listening to Jamiroquai’s, Butterfly. This was the first time I added distress to the derrière.The under painting was applied by brush with coarse textures executed by palette knife. Under painting has been a big focal point for me. It’s helped me understand how to trap light and distinguish shadows with greater dexterity. A new door has opened which makes me feel like I’m learning all over again." - Steven Lopez

Ben Frost Can't Sleep Clowns Will Eat Me- 17 x 17 Archival Print by Ben Frost
Purchase Can't Sleep Clowns Will Eat Me- 17 x 17 Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Museum Natural Fine Art Paper by Ben Frost graffiti street artist modern pop art. "The world is run by clowns. Moronic and colorful, they dance across our television screens touting surreal propaganda and advertising slogans in a bizarre theatrical performance without intermission. No wonder I have trouble sleeping.? I use mini-dialogues that come together to make up an overall pastiche, that reflects how I see the world – especially as it is delivered to us through the media. In these 'mash-up' paintings, countless characters exist and interact within the same picture plane, to create a frenetic snapshot of the chaos that we endure in our every-day lives. " - Ben Frost Ben Frost is utilizing imagery familiar to western culture in order to make a statement about the culture itself on the basis of consumerism, modern icons, big corporations, etc. Animation characters, pop icons, brand logos, and many more are transformed into vibrant artworks and find their place in galleries. With this in mind, and in the case of Ben Frost, it is futile to try to identify a clear borderline between low and high art. In reality, the artist wants the audience to think on the terms of high or low value and, by extension, what these actually mean. Over the years street artists have managed to establish themselves as respected creators and some of them have even gained international fame, transforming graffiti from a fringe art, aiming sometimes to mark street gangs’ territory, into big business.

Carmel Custard Flow Silkscreen
Purchase Carmel Custard Flow Limited Edition 4-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on Mohawk Fine Art Paper by Dvate graffiti street artist modern pop art. "The print is based of an original artwork that was produced a few years back for a group show at our old gallery PerSquareMetre. I was exploring degradation and layering and also painting on found objects. The original piece belongs to my wife and she won't give it up! The original piece was created using a combination of acrylic paint and spray enamel. The artwork is painted on an old print that belonged to my Mother. I really liked the texture and weathering of the timber on the back so that’s the side I chose to paint. The cheesy 50’s print is still on the other side. At the time I was working with a lot of found objects and customizing my letter style to suit them. I have always used layering in my work to create depth and reference to the gritty street walls that were my original canvas."- Dvate

Cat Goddess Archival Pigment Print
Purchase Cat Goddess Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Jeff Soto graffiti street artist modern pop art. "The "Cat Goddess" is part of a series of paintings looking at the life cycle of living things. I would say I'm "spiritual" but not very religious. We talked about it in my family, we talked about Jesus and God, but we did not practice a religion. I'm always questioning why we're here, and what it's all about, and the answers are never clear to me. I do like to think we have spirits or energy, and I wonder where that energy goes when we pass? I feel that, if humans possess this energy, then all living things must possess it as well. The Cat Goddess is some sort of passageway or portal to somewhere else. I envision the mouth opening and taking the soul to a beautiful and safe place. Maybe Heaven?" - Jeff Soto

He was named after the 16th-century painter Raphael and is usually depicted as being aggressive, sullen, maddened, and rebellious. Not only did I relate to his character, as a teen with angst, but Raphael is a perfect parallel to my sharks." - Shark Toof
