Purchase Fallen Angel- Pink Limited Edition 2-Color Hand-Pulled Mixed media Silkscreen Print on 300gsm Fabriano Watercolour Paper by Copyright Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "This image I first made in 2011, I released 2 colorways of it at the time that sold out. In 2013 I had my 10-year anniversary show where I was able to be nostalgic about my own work, after which I started to reprise old favorites in new ways. I made these and kept them back until the time was right. As my first print release in the USA and as an introduction to my work, it seemed like the perfect time to put them out. Angels are a reoccurring motif for me and most of my pictures draw from a bitter-sweet theme. So the image of a fallen angel is a powerfully symbolic way to portray this. I use symbols and iconography within my paintings to help build a story/narrative, usually small icons or tattoos." - Copyright

Faile Dancing Between Angels/ Love Stories B-Side Silkscreen Print by Faile

Purchase Dancing Between Angels/ Love Stories B-Side HPM 24-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print With Acrylic, Silkscreen Ink and Spraypaint on 310 gsm Coventry Rag (Deckle Edge) by Faile Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. The title of this image comes from a line in the poem, "Painted Landscapes Deceive Me  -- Dancing Between Angels and Angles". This was a reference to Marie Antoinette arriving in Strasbourg when she first became queen and the faux painted landscapes placed outside her window, created to make her feel welcome. A further reference to De Stijl and Aubette Dance Hall with the angled and rectilinear lines the movement was known for. Along with its proximity to the Cathedral and the angels that grace its walls. Bubbles sort of fly loosely and dance through space, somewhat the antithesis of what De Stijl conveyed but a nice reference to movement. We liked the idea of the girl tearing away the perceptions built up around her while trying not to lose herself. "This image was a popular poster I had released a few years ago. I decided to take it to a more “handcrafted” limited edition print different from offset. Last year I had it transcribed into a 2 color silk screen print and released it with only 25 in the edition, made for my show at Inner State Gallery in Detroit...They went fast. In celebration of the popular image I wanted to do another version. This time changing the color ways from the electric red. 50 editions to be in cool blues and another 50 in deep golds. Then to add a special edition and limited to 25 I created a 3rd screen with line work to enhance the Muse’s spectacle of flight." - Glenn Barr

Purchase Skingirl II HPM Hand-Embellished Limited Edition Silkscreen Print Art on Wove Fine Art Paper by Artist Prefab77 Contemporary Pop Artwork. 2020 Signed & Numbered HPM Hand Embellished Limited Edition of 25 Artwork Size 27.5x39 Skingirl II HPM Silkscreen Print by Prefab77 "Skingirl II HPM" is a silkscreen print created by the British art collective Prefab77. Prefab77 is known for their striking, provocative, and politically-charged artwork that often combines elements of street art, pop culture, and punk rock aesthetics. Their work is heavily influenced by the 1970s punk movement, as well as the urban art scene that emerged in the early 2000s. The "Skingirl II HPM" (Hand Painted Multiple) silkscreen print is a limited-edition artwork that showcases the collective's unique style and attention to detail. The term "HPM" refers to the process where an artist creates a series of unique, hand-finished prints within a limited edition. This means that although the prints may share a common image, each one will have its own distinct characteristics, making them highly sought-after by collectors. In this particular piece, the central figure is a female character dressed in the classic "skinhead" style, which was popularized in the 1960s and 1970s. This style often included elements such as close-cropped hair or shaved heads, tight jeans or trousers, and heavy boots. The image also incorporates various symbols and elements that reflect the punk and street art influences that are signature to Prefab77's work. As a silkscreen print, "Skingirl II HPM" is created by applying layers of ink through a fine mesh screen, resulting in a bold and vibrant image. This technique allows for a high degree of detail and color saturation, which can be seen in the intricate patterns and shading within the artwork. Overall, "Skingirl II HPM" is a striking piece that captures the spirit of rebellion and defiance characteristic of Prefab77's work, making it a highly desirable addition to any contemporary art collection.

Angel
Angels have been a popular subject in graffiti art prints and street art prints for many years. These celestial beings are often depicted in a variety of ways, ranging from traditional depictions with wings and halos to more modern interpretations that are more abstract or stylized. The use of angels in graffiti and street art can be seen as a way of exploring themes of spirituality, protection, and guidance. One of the most common ways that angels are depicted in graffiti and street art is through the use of wings. Often, these wings are portrayed in an exaggerated and stylized manner, emphasizing their symbolic importance rather than attempting to create a realistic representation. This approach can be seen in works by artists such as Banksy, who often uses angel wings in his pieces to convey a sense of hope and freedom. In addition to wings, halos are another common motif in angelic graffiti and street art. These circular symbols of light are often used to represent divinity or enlightenment, and can be found in a wide range of styles and designs. Some artists choose to incorporate halos into larger compositions, while others use them as standalone elements to create striking and impactful images. Another popular approach to incorporating angels into graffiti and street art is through the use of religious iconography. This can include depictions of angels with religious symbols such as crosses, as well as scenes from religious texts or stories. These pieces often have a deeper symbolic meaning, and can be interpreted in a variety of ways depending on the viewer's personal beliefs and experiences. Beyond their religious connotations, angels can also be seen as symbols of protection and guidance. In this context, they are often used in pieces that explore themes of hope, support, and comfort. Some artists use angels as a way of encouraging viewers to look towards the future with optimism, while others create pieces that offer a sense of reassurance and stability in uncertain times. Angels have become an enduring and widely used subject in graffiti art prints and street art prints. Whether portrayed in a traditional manner or through more contemporary interpretations, these celestial beings continue to inspire and captivate viewers with their ethereal beauty and spiritual significance. As the genre of graffiti and street art continues to evolve and grow, it is likely that we will continue to see new and exciting takes on this timeless subject.
