Shark Toof Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob PP Archival Print by Shark Toof
Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob PP Archival Print by Shark Toof Limited Edition Print on 310gsm Museum Fine Art Paper Pop Artist Modern Artwork. PP Printers Proof 2019 Signed & Marked PP Limited Edition Artwork Size 24x18 Archival Pigment Fine Art. "Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob, This Is Not A Spongebob" Decoding "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob" by Shark Toof "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob" is a provocative piece by the renowned street pop artist Shark Toof, challenging the boundaries of pop culture iconography within the context of modern street art. The artwork is a Printer's Proof (PP) archival print from 2019, meticulously signed and marked by the artist, denoting its status as a rare collector's item. Printed on 310gsm Museum Fine Art Paper, this piece exemplifies the high-quality medium Shark Toof employs to ensure durability and depth of color, crucial for the archival pigment fine art that this work represents. A Fusion of Street Art and Pop Culture This piece is a testament to the collision of street pop art and graffiti artwork with mainstream pop culture symbols. Shark Toof takes the universally recognized figure of SpongeBob SquarePants and distorts it, presenting an image that both acknowledges and subverts the original character. The title itself, a nod to René Magritte's "The Treachery of Images," prompts viewers to question the nature of representation and reality in art. Shark Toof's work suggests that the image of SpongeBob we see is not the character itself but a representation skewed by the artist's perspective and the cultural context in which it is viewed. Shark Toof's Artistic Commentary In "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob," Shark Toof is not simply replicating a beloved character; he is initiating a dialogue about the saturation of media icons in society and the consumption of these images. The distortion and decomposition of SpongeBob's features invite the audience to reflect on how mass media shapes and sometimes distorts our perceptions. This work captures the spirit of street pop art by using graffiti artwork's spontaneous and rebellious essence to comment on and criticize phenomena. The layered textures and vibrant colors reveal the complex relationship between commercial imagery and artistic expression. The art piece explores the tension between street art's ephemeral nature and fine art prints' enduring quality. Shark Toof bridges two seemingly disparate worlds by choosing SpongeBob, an icon from an animated children's show, and placing it in the sophisticated realm of limited edition prints. This juxtaposition challenges the viewer's understanding of what constitutes 'legitimate' art, questioning the hierarchies within the art world. Through "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob," Shark Toof contributes to the discourse on the value and significance of street pop art and graffiti artwork in contemporary culture. By recontextualizing a figure from the lexicon of popular media, he endows it with new meaning and elevates it within the art canon. This artwork is a visual spectacle with an intellectual engagement, prompting conversations about the nature of art, media's influence, and street art's power to transform and transcend ordinary objects and characters into extraordinary pieces of cultural commentary.

Turf One- Jean LaBourdette The Artist Unconscious Mind Self-Portrait Print by Turf One Jean LaBourdette
The Artist's Unconscious Mind(Self-Portrait Digital Ultrachrome Giclee Print by Turf One- Jean LaBourdette Artwork Limited Edition Print on Photo Rag Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2010 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 16x24 The Artist's Unconscious Mind: A Glimpse into Turf One's Psyche "The Artist's Unconscious Mind (Self-Portrait)" is a digital ultra-chrome giclée print by Jean LaBourdette, known in the art world as Turf One. This limited edition print, released in 2010 with only 50 signed and numbered copies, is a quintessential example of his foray into street pop art and graffiti artwork. The artwork size of 16x24 inches, printed on Photo Rag Hahnemühle fine art paper, is a testament to Turf One's commitment to quality and his respect for the craft of fine art printing. Symbolism and Technique in Turf One's Giclée Print The piece stands out for its symbolic complexity and meticulous detail, common threads in Turf One's artwork. The choice of a chimpanzee wearing a fez and contemplating a human skull is evocative of the classical theme of 'vanitas,' touching upon the transient nature of life and the pursuit of knowledge. This recurring motif in art history, most famously depicted in Holbein's "The Ambassadors," is given new life and meaning in Turf One's contemporary interpretation. The use of ultra-chrome, a modern printing technique known for its color accuracy and longevity, bridges the gap between traditional fine art mediums and the digital age. This method allows the depth and nuance of Turf One's original paintings to be captured with high fidelity, making the prints true to the artist's vision. Intersecting Street Art and Traditional Imagery Turf One's work often intersects the gritty reality of street art with the intricate and symbolic nature of traditional imagery. "The Artist's Unconscious Mind" is no exception. It offers a commentary on the artist's internal dialogue and the intersection of animalistic instincts with the intellectual pursuit of self-awareness. By juxtaposing the primitive with the enlightened, Turf One presents a tableau ripe for interpretation and reflection. The fez, often associated with Eastern mysticism and philosophy, suggests a connection between wisdom and the primal aspects of our nature. The chimpanzee's human-like pose and contemplative gaze bring forth a sense of kinship with the animal kingdom, a subtle nod to the evolutionary aspects of human consciousness and artistry. The Influence of Street Pop Art on Turf One's Expression In "The Artist's Unconscious Mind," Turf One incorporates the immediacy and rawness often associated with street pop art and graffiti artwork. The fine art paper chosen for the print adds a tactile quality that echoes the texture of walls that serve as canvases in the street art world. Even as a print, the artwork carries the weight and presence of a piece that could adorn an urban landscape, bringing the reflective nature of fine art to the public sphere. Turf One's approach to street art is not about vandalism or territory marking but a deeper exploration of personal and collective identity. His work transcends the typical boundaries of street art, challenging viewers to consider the profound questions of existence and self, all while maintaining a connection to the urban roots of his medium. Collectibility and Impact of Turf One's Limited Edition Prints The collectibility of "The Artist's Unconscious Mind" is heightened by its limited run, making each print a coveted piece for collectors and admirers of Turf One's work. The scarcity of the prints ensures that each piece remains a treasured artifact of the artist's exploration into the depths of the unconscious mind. Like many limited editions, this artwork is more than just a representation of Turf One's artistic talent; it is a vessel for the ideas and themes that permeate his body of work. The print is a physical manifestation of the dialogue between the artist and the audience, a dialogue that continues evolving with each viewing. Reflecting on Turf One's Artistic Journey "The Artist's Unconscious Mind (Self-Portrait)" encapsulates Turf One's journey through street pop art and fine art printing. The print is a mirror reflecting the dual nature of the artist's world - one foot in the raw, expressive world of graffiti and the other in the contemplative, reflective world of fine art. This piece is a testament to the enduring power of art to convey complex ideas and emotions, regardless of the medium. As such, it is a significant work within Turf One's oeuvre, embodying the essence of his artistic spirit and the transformative potential of street pop art.

Malt Continuous Thunder Archival Print by Malt
Continuous Thunder Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Malt Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "The story behind the piece is searching to fill that empty space inside when losing someone very close to you. As the saying goes time heals all wounds, until then it's "Continuous Thunder." I always tend to work in a series of color combos, mostly in 3's. This series being one of them. The idea starts the way most of my pieces come about. Laying down the background and staring for a while. Then figuring out where I want the flow of the piece to go. With this piece it's kind of a "X" pattern. I wanted to do a hopscotch kinda deal with the maroons and pinks over the greys and the greys over the maroons and pinks. Along with the prints and original painting there are two smaller complimentary pieces available with this RUN." - Malt

Faile Diamond FAILEdoodle- Red/Black Silkscreen Print by Faile
Diamond FAILEdoodle- Red/Black 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen, Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter Print on Archival Lenox Paper by Faile Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Diamond FAILEdoodle: Red/Black 19 x 25 Inches Each variant an edition of 25 Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter on Archival Lenox 100 Signed, Stamped and Embossed A new breed of Faile Dog was born last year. First found on the streets of New York this pup found its way into the studio and really came to life. We've been pushing our shimmering print process lately and this felt like the perfect print to introduce this into our practice. Four different editions, two in red glitter and two in black glitter. All stained, sprayed, painted and printed; it's all the hallmarks of a studio print now with a lot more shine. Using the words of the artists themselves, the artwork “gives a person the sense that it is there just for them. That they've stumbled across this great little gem amidst the chaos of daily life that can really speak to them. We try to build in a certain ambiguity that leaves the door open for the viewer to find themselves within the story.” This relational character of the FAILE’s art corresponds and becomes amplified by their consistent travel and lack of a permanent studio until the mid-2000s. This resulted in the duo’s embracement and utilization of urban streets and, naturally, gave the produced work a “site-specific” character since public art inevitably adjusts itself to the location of the display.

Frank Kozik Reverend Horton Heat Tenderloin Twang Rang Hi-Fi 1994 Chicago IL Silkscreen Print by Frank Kozik
Reverend Horton Heat Tenderloin Twang Rang Hi-Fi 1994 Chicago IL Silkscreen Print by Frank Kozik Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 1994 Signed by Kozik & Numbered Limited Edition of 500 Artwork Size 22x18 Silkscreen Print Band Gig Poster by Frank Kozik. Reverend Horton Heat Tenderloin Twang Rang Hi-Fi Road Burners Metro Chicago, Illinois 9-17-1994 The "Reverend Horton Heat Tenderloin Twang Rang Hi-Fi 1994 Chicago IL" silkscreen print is a vibrant representation of the intersection where music meets visual art, crafted by the renowned artist Frank Kozik. Dated in 1994, this limited edition piece, with only 500 signed and numbered prints, captures the essence of the concert gig poster with a distinct pop art flair. Measuring 22x18 inches, it was created to promote a live music event on September 17, 1994, featuring the Reverend Horton Heat alongside Tenderloin and Twang Rang Hi-Fi Road Burners at the Metro in Chicago, Illinois. Kozik's use of bold colors and a cartoonish fox wearing a cowboy hat embodies the energy and eccentricity of the bands, particularly the headlining psychobilly band known for its lively and raucous performances. This artwork is more than a mere announcement of an event; it is a piece of history, a testament to the culture of the mid-90s, and a collector's item for enthusiasts of music, pop art, and street art alike. Frank Kozik's style is evident in the poster's design, which features thick outlines, flat areas of color, and an absence of shading reminiscent of comic book art—a hallmark of Kozik's work. Such posters are not only advertisements but also artifacts of cultural significance. They represent a time when street art was becoming increasingly recognized as a legitimate art form, blurring the lines between the highbrow and the accessible, the elite and the streetwise. These prints also speak to the nature of street art's fleeting existence. While street art is often temporary, subject to the whims of weather and the ever-changing urban landscape, silkscreen prints like this capture ephemeral quality and preserve it in a form that can be collected, traded, and displayed. Kozik's work, especially this print, serves as a physical snapshot of the street art movement as it began to infiltrate and influence the broader pop culture, reflecting a time when the underground started to surface and claim space on the walls of fans and collectors worldwide.

Camille Rose Garcia Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia
The Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia Limited Edition 1-Color on Deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper Graffiti Street Pop Artwork. 2020 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 8x10 Letterpress Print Art Printmas 2020 of a Creapy Stylized Swan Bird Monster Dressed as a Nurse. The Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia The Swan Nurse letterpress print by Camille Rose Garcia is a hauntingly whimsical piece that combines surrealism with Street Pop Art’s bold and provocative aesthetic. Released in 2020 as part of the Art Printmas series, this 8x10 work of art is printed on deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, emphasizing the artisanal quality of the print. The image features a stylized swan, grotesquely reimagined as a sinister nurse, complete with exaggerated features, gothic undertones, and a bow-tied costume. Signed and numbered in a limited edition of 100, this print exemplifies Garcia’s ability to craft deeply engaging narratives through her unique artistic vision. Camille Rose Garcia: A Visionary in Pop Surrealism Camille Rose Garcia is renowned for her ability to blend dark themes with playful imagery, creating pieces that invite both curiosity and introspection. Born in 1970 in Los Angeles, her work draws inspiration from vintage cartoons, dystopian literature, and surrealist art movements. Through her distinct style, Garcia often critiques consumerism, environmental degradation, and societal constructs, using fantastical characters and dreamlike settings to present her commentary. The Swan Nurse is a striking example of Garcia’s storytelling prowess. The swan, often associated with elegance and beauty, is here transformed into a macabre figure with sharp features, exaggerated proportions, and a menacing gaze. The nurse costume, complete with a hat bearing a medical cross, adds an eerie layer of ambiguity to the piece, leaving viewers to question its narrative. This juxtaposition of innocence and menace is a hallmark of Garcia’s work, emphasizing her ability to challenge traditional interpretations of beauty and morality. The Craftsmanship of Letterpress Printing The letterpress printing technique employed in The Swan Nurse adds a tactile richness and vintage charm to the artwork. By pressing ink into the deckled edges of the 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, this traditional method creates a textured, embossed finish that enhances the intricate details of the illustration. The single-color palette, rendered in deep black ink, amplifies the stark contrasts and dramatic linework, allowing the swan’s unsettling expression to dominate the composition. The choice of deckled paper adds an artisanal feel to the print, further connecting it to the handmade traditions of Street Pop Art. This emphasis on craftsmanship aligns with Garcia’s ethos of elevating her fantastical creations into timeless works of art that merge classic techniques with modern themes. The Swan Nurse as a Statement of Street Pop Art The Swan Nurse is a compelling representation of Street Pop Art, using a surreal and slightly grotesque character to convey themes of transformation, authority, and the uncanny. By reimagining the swan—a symbol of grace and purity—as a creepy nurse, Garcia subverts expectations, drawing viewers into a world where beauty and menace coexist. The work’s playful yet unsettling aesthetic is a hallmark of Street Pop Art’s ability to engage and provoke thought. This limited-edition print is not just a piece of art; it is a narrative-rich creation that invites the audience to explore its layers of meaning. Its 8x10 size and exclusive run of 100 make it an ideal collectible for enthusiasts of Camille Rose Garcia’s work and those who appreciate the intersection of fine art and urban commentary. The Swan Nurse exemplifies Garcia’s mastery in combining craftsmanship, narrative, and visual impact, solidifying its place as a standout piece in contemporary Street Pop Art.

Brian Viveros LA Cat Trooper Blotter Paper Archival Print by Brian Viveros
LA Cat Trooper Blotter Paper Archival Print by Brian Viveros Limited Edition Fine Art Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper. 2023 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Archival Pigment Print on Perforated Blotter Paper Size: 7.5 x 7.5 Inches Release: April 19, 2023 Limited blotter editions are hand-perforated by Zane Kesey. Blotter paper, a type of thick absorbent paper, is traditionally used in fields like chemistry for drying samples or in the art world for watercolor painting. However, it has found a unique niche in the world of graffiti and street art for the creation of "blotter art", which is often associated with psychedelic art due to its historical use as a medium for distributing LSD. Experience the convergence of fine art and counterculture with our Fine Art Archival Prints on Perforated Blotter LSD Paper. These prints, a nod to the psychedelic era, are designed to deliver stunning visual impact. They are printed on high-quality blotter paper, which was traditionally used for LSD tabs, but now repurposed for this unique art form. Dave Pollot Old Is New Is Old Again Giclee Print by Dave Pollot
Old Is New Is Old Again Giclee Print by Dave Pollot Artwork Limited Edition Print on Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2020 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 10 Artwork Size 8x10 Matted to 11x14 Renaissance Man Vintage Gentleman Wearing a Wolf Howling At The Moon Dave Pollot's "Old Is New Is Old Again" is a compelling piece of limited edition giclee print artwork that has found its grounding in the intersection of pop art, street art, and graffiti art. Released in 2020, this stunning piece is a testament to Pollot's unparalleled ability to repurpose, reimagine, and recontextualize traditional art forms into contemporary and engaging works. As part of an exclusive series, only 10 signed and numbered copies of this masterpiece exist, each meticulously produced on fine art paper to ensure longevity and vibrancy of color. Measuring 8x10 inches, with a mat that extends the dimensions to 11x14 inches, "Old Is New Is Old Again" is a captivating representation of a Renaissance man in vintage attire. The main subject, distinguished and posed as a gentleman of a bygone era, sports a curious addition that beautifully exemplifies Pollot's creative aesthetic — a graphic of a wolf howling at the moon. This piece seamlessly integrates aspects of modern imagery with classical portraiture, resulting in a unique fusion that embodies the spirit of graffiti pop and street art. In the realm of pop art, Pollot's piece is a nod to the repetition and mass production synonymous with the movement. By embedding modern iconography into a traditional portrait, the artist creatively merges past and present, thereby urging viewers to explore the ubiquitous influence of pop culture on societal perception. The wolf, a symbol often found in street and graffiti art, adds an element of rawness and organic spirit to the otherwise refined and polished depiction of the gentleman. Street art, often reflective of social and cultural expressions, finds its representation in the artwork as well. Pollot's rendering of the gentleman is symbolic of the adaptability and fluidity of street art, with its roots firmly set in the culture of the streets but its reach extending far beyond. The unorthodox incorporation of a graffiti-style wolf into a classical portrait suggests a strong link to street culture, bridging the gap between fine art and popular expressions of creativity. Graffiti art, traditionally associated with rebellion and counterculture, takes on a new form in "Old Is New Is Old Again." The howling wolf, often used in graffiti as a signifier of freedom and independence, has been seamlessly incorporated into the artwork. Its presence offers a stark contrast to the gentleman's attire, suggesting a dichotomy between societal norms and the desire for personal freedom and expression. Through this piece, Dave Pollot has remarkably bridged the gap between varying art forms and historical periods, crafting a timeless piece that speaks volumes of his understanding of art and culture. "Old Is New Is Old Again" is a perfect example of Pollot's ability to draw from diverse artistic movements and social themes, creating a work that resonates with the complexity and diversity of the human experience. In essence, this piece serves as a visual dialogue between different eras and artistic styles, proving that in the realm of art, the old and the new can coexist in the most harmonious and visually striking ways.

This amalgamation of symbols serves as an aesthetic choice and a narrative device, telling a story that spans across different eras and fandoms. "My Heart and Soul Blue Silkscreen Print" by Raid71 encapsulates this spirit, presenting a familiar figure adorned with a tapestry of symbolic tattoos that merge the nostalgic with the contemporary. Technique and Tradition in Silkscreen Printing The technique of silkscreen printing, chosen by Raid71 for this artwork, is a meticulous and hands-on process revered for its ability to produce vibrant, saturated colors and sharp images. Hand-pulling a print requires precision and skill, making each piece unique. This traditional method of printmaking aligns with the ethos of Street Pop Art and graffiti Artwork, where the hand of the artist is valued, and the physical act of creation is part of the artwork's narrative. Silkscreen prints have a rich history in pop and street art, with artists like Andy Warhol popularizing the technique in the 1960s. Raid71's use of this method creates a direct lineage to the pop art movement, while the subject matter and styling of the piece place it firmly in the contemporary conversation of street art. Reflections of Pop Culture in Modern Art "My Heart and Soul" is more than a piece of art; it is a cultural artifact that reflects the pervasive influence of pop culture in modern society. The tattoos adorn the iconic character are not random; they are carefully chosen emblems that many viewers will recognize and connect with. By incorporating these symbols into the artwork, Raid71 invites reflection on the impact of media and entertainment on our collective consciousness. This blending of pop culture references within the artwork indicates a broader trend in Street Pop Art and graffiti Artwork, where the lines between high art and low art are blurred. Raid71's print stands as a testament to the democratization of art, showcasing how universally recognized imagery can be repurposed to create something new and thought-provoking. The Significance of Limited Edition Artworks The decision to produce "My Heart and Soul" as a limited edition print plays a significant role in its desirability and potential legacy. Collectors and enthusiasts of Street Pop Art and graffiti Artwork often seek out little edition pieces for their exclusivity and investment potential. The practice of numbering and signing each print also adds a personal touch from the artist, creating a connection between the creator and the collector. In the context of street art and pop art, limited editions help to bridge the gap between the often ephemeral nature of street art—typically seen on public walls and therefore subject to change—and the permanence sought by collectors. By offering a finite number of prints, Raid71 ensures that "My Heart and Soul" retains a sense of rarity and value. "My Heart and Soul Blue Silkscreen Print" by Raid71 is a vibrant intersection of artistry, pop culture, and printmaking tradition. It embodies the innovative and referential qualities that are hallmark traits of Street Pop Art and graffiti Artwork. As the piece makes its way into the collections of art lovers, it carries the spirit of the streets, the allure of pop culture, and the timelessness of fine art printmaking.
