  • Peace Offerings Creatures of the Night Archival Print by Joe Ledbetter

Joe Ledbetter Peace Offerings Creatures of the Night Archival Print by Joe Ledbetter

Peace Offerings Creatures of the Night Archival Print by Joe Ledbetter Limited Edition on Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Artist Modern Artwork. 2012 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 25 Artwork Size 18x18 Archival Pigment Fine Art Circle Cut Artwork from the Show Creatures of the Night. Peace Offerings Creatures of the Night Archival Print by Joe Ledbetter – Limited Edition Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Joe Ledbetter, a master of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, presents Peace Offerings, an 18x18-inch archival pigment fine art print, created as part of the Creatures of the Night exhibition in 2012. This signed and numbered limited edition of 25 is a rare piece, distinguished not only by its striking circular cut but also by its vibrant composition, which merges fantasy, pop surrealism, and Ledbetter’s unmistakable character design. The artwork encapsulates themes of peace, conflict, and duality, presented through a cast of whimsical yet expressive creatures. The composition is centered around a mythical standoff, with a white, wide-eyed unicorn-like creature engaging in a tense yet comical exchange with a green, serpentine adversary bearing a unicorn horn. Surrounding them are a variety of creatures—monkeys, rabbits, birds, pigs, and other imaginative hybrids—each interacting in ways that suggest allegiances, rivalries, and playful deceptions. A dangling apple, seemingly presented as a peace offering, adds a narrative layer to the image, hinting at themes of temptation, trust, and negotiation. The radiating green hues and sunburst background reinforce the energy of the scene, giving it a dynamic and almost celestial quality. Joe Ledbetter’s Impact on Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Joe Ledbetter has carved out a distinctive space in the Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork movement through his ability to blend bold, animated aesthetics with layered storytelling. His background in graphic design and illustration allows him to create compositions that feel both meticulously crafted and effortlessly dynamic. Known for his clean, thick linework, flat yet expressive color palettes, and surreal character designs, Ledbetter's work often explores themes of conflict, irony, and humor. His signature approach transforms traditional pop culture influences into something fresh and subversive. Whether through anthropomorphic creatures caught in moments of tension or playful reinterpretations of mythology and folklore, his work resonates with collectors and street art enthusiasts alike. Peace Offerings is a prime example of his ability to balance humor with deeper themes, using visual storytelling to encourage viewers to look beyond the surface. Peace Offerings – A Satirical Take on Conflict and Negotiation At first glance, Peace Offerings appears to be a lighthearted, cartoonish depiction of fantastical creatures engaging in a bizarre exchange. However, a closer examination reveals the underlying tension in the piece. The white unicorn-like figure, with its wide eyes and slightly hesitant posture, contrasts sharply with the more aggressive and menacing demeanor of the green snake-like creature. The apple, a classic symbol of temptation and diplomacy, dangles between them, creating an ambiguous moment where the viewer is left to decide whether this is an act of goodwill or deception. The surrounding animals add to the complexity of the piece, each reacting in their own unique way. Some appear amused, others skeptical, while a few seem completely unaware of the unfolding drama. The inclusion of peace symbols, small skull motifs, and floating elements further emphasizes the idea that peace is often a precarious balance between cooperation and hidden motives. Ledbetter’s ability to create depth within a seemingly simple composition is what makes his work stand out in the Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork scene. The Cultural Significance of Peace Offerings in Contemporary Art Peace Offerings is a reflection of larger societal dynamics, packaged in Ledbetter’s signature style of animated surrealism. The piece speaks to themes of diplomacy, strategy, and the fragile nature of peace—ideas that remain relevant across cultures and time periods. By framing this exchange within a whimsical, fantasy-driven setting, Ledbetter allows the viewer to engage with serious concepts in a way that feels accessible and visually captivating. The circular format of the print adds to its uniqueness, breaking away from the traditional rectangular layout common in fine art prints. This design choice enhances the feeling of an enclosed world, drawing the viewer’s eye toward the center of the action while reinforcing the cyclical nature of conflict and resolution. The rarity of this limited edition print makes it a sought-after piece for collectors, as it represents a key moment in Ledbetter’s Creatures of the Night series. Through his use of humor, meticulous character design, and layered symbolism, Ledbetter continues to push the boundaries of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Peace Offerings is more than just an illustration—it is a conversation starter, a playful satire, and a testament to the ongoing evolution of contemporary pop and street art.

His work elevates the graffiti art style into a fine art realm without losing the grassroots feel that defines street art. The rarity of the piece adds to its allure, knowing that it belongs to a finite set of prints, each one slightly different from the last, each one a unique piece of Anville's vision. The use of nine colors in the screen printing process is significant, allowing for a depth and vibrancy that can be challenging to achieve with fewer layers. Anville's choice of fine art paper as a substrate reflects a conscious decision to present street art not merely as ephemeral but as something to be preserved and cherished. The result is a rich texture and color dynamism that brings the artwork to life. Justin Anville's "Tyto Alba" is a profound representation of the modern-day synergy between street art and fine art printing. It stands as a vibrant emblem of the potential for Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork to transcend boundaries and enter into a dialogue with audiences across diverse spectrums of the art world.

Released in 2020 as part of the Art Printmas series, this 8x10 work of art is printed on deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, emphasizing the artisanal quality of the print. The image features a stylized swan, grotesquely reimagined as a sinister nurse, complete with exaggerated features, gothic undertones, and a bow-tied costume. Signed and numbered in a limited edition of 100, this print exemplifies Garcia’s ability to craft deeply engaging narratives through her unique artistic vision. Camille Rose Garcia: A Visionary in Pop Surrealism Camille Rose Garcia is renowned for her ability to blend dark themes with playful imagery, creating pieces that invite both curiosity and introspection. Born in 1970 in Los Angeles, her work draws inspiration from vintage cartoons, dystopian literature, and surrealist art movements. Through her distinct style, Garcia often critiques consumerism, environmental degradation, and societal constructs, using fantastical characters and dreamlike settings to present her commentary. The Swan Nurse is a striking example of Garcia’s storytelling prowess. The swan, often associated with elegance and beauty, is here transformed into a macabre figure with sharp features, exaggerated proportions, and a menacing gaze. The nurse costume, complete with a hat bearing a medical cross, adds an eerie layer of ambiguity to the piece, leaving viewers to question its narrative. This juxtaposition of innocence and menace is a hallmark of Garcia’s work, emphasizing her ability to challenge traditional interpretations of beauty and morality. The Craftsmanship of Letterpress Printing The letterpress printing technique employed in The Swan Nurse adds a tactile richness and vintage charm to the artwork. By pressing ink into the deckled edges of the 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, this traditional method creates a textured, embossed finish that enhances the intricate details of the illustration. The single-color palette, rendered in deep black ink, amplifies the stark contrasts and dramatic linework, allowing the swan’s unsettling expression to dominate the composition. The choice of deckled paper adds an artisanal feel to the print, further connecting it to the handmade traditions of Street Pop Art. This emphasis on craftsmanship aligns with Garcia’s ethos of elevating her fantastical creations into timeless works of art that merge classic techniques with modern themes. The Swan Nurse as a Statement of Street Pop Art The Swan Nurse is a compelling representation of Street Pop Art, using a surreal and slightly grotesque character to convey themes of transformation, authority, and the uncanny. By reimagining the swan—a symbol of grace and purity—as a creepy nurse, Garcia subverts expectations, drawing viewers into a world where beauty and menace coexist. The work’s playful yet unsettling aesthetic is a hallmark of Street Pop Art’s ability to engage and provoke thought. This limited-edition print is not just a piece of art; it is a narrative-rich creation that invites the audience to explore its layers of meaning. Its 8x10 size and exclusive run of 100 make it an ideal collectible for enthusiasts of Camille Rose Garcia’s work and those who appreciate the intersection of fine art and urban commentary. The Swan Nurse exemplifies Garcia’s mastery in combining craftsmanship, narrative, and visual impact, solidifying its place as a standout piece in contemporary Street Pop Art.

  • Sub-Standard Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Sub-Standard Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Sub-Standard Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled 5-Color on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. 2023 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 550 Artwork Size 12x24 Silkscreen Print "This print, “Sub-Standard,” is a comment on the relationship between corporate greed, fossil fuels, and the warming of the planet and collapsing ecosystems. Standard operating, pushed by players like Standard Oil and its many offshoots, should be redefined as sub-standard. If we want to maintain the standard of health our planet needs to avoid catastrophe, we can’t allow big oil to put profits before the planet and profits before people (as well as many other threatened species). Keep in mind that big oil, which is already very profitable, is subsidized by you, the taxpayer, for up to $50 billion per year. In contrast, renewable energy sources are subsidized for only a quarter of that amount. We need to push for change. A portion of proceeds from this print goes to Greenpeace USA‘s efforts to fight for a healthy planet." -Shepard Fairey- OBEY The silkscreen print titled "Sub-Standard" by Shepard Fairey, part of his OBEY series, is a compelling piece of contemporary art that casts a critical eye on the pressing issue of environmental degradation as it relates to corporate influence and fossil fuel dependency. Limited to a release of 550 signed and numbered editions, the artwork is a bold statement in both form and substance, pulling together the aesthetics of pop, street, and graffiti art onto a cream speckletone fine art paper. Measuring 12x24 inches, each hand-pulled 5-color print stands as a testament to Fairey's technical skill and his commitment to social commentary. Shepard Fairey, a prominent figure in the world of pop culture and street art, uses his medium to challenge the status quo and incite thought about pressing global issues. "Sub-Standard" specifically targets the consequences of the fossil fuel industry's actions on climate change and ecological destruction. Fairey's reference to Standard Oil and its successors points to a legacy of environmental policy that prioritizes profit over the planet's health, indicating a dire need for change in corporate practices. The artwork employs powerful symbolism, with the juxtaposition of an industrial motif against a backdrop that signifies the natural world in distress, reflecting Fairey's narrative about the conflict between economic interests and environmental stewardship. A significant aspect of this artwork is its activism component. A portion of the proceeds from "Sub-Standard" is directed towards Greenpeace USA, funding the organization's efforts to combat environmental harm and promote sustainability. This financial support aligns with the artwork's message, creating a direct link between art, activism, and tangible support for ecological well-being. Fairey's choice to highlight the discrepancy between subsidies for fossil fuels and renewable energy sources in his statement further amplifies the print's call to action, advocating for a reevaluation of where public funds are invested in the context of long-term planetary health. In the landscape of modern art, "Sub-Standard" by Shepard Fairey stands out as a piece that not only captures the aesthetic edge of the OBEY art movement but also embodies a deep social and environmental consciousness, driving the conversation forward in the realm of art activism.

Created in a limited edition of 75, this 18x24-inch print is a testament to Grzeca’s ability to merge intricate linework with bold, expressive forms, making it a significant piece in street pop art & graffiti artwork. Intricate Linework and Metallic Accents Dan Grzeca’s signature cross-hatching and textured strokes are on full display in this piece, emphasizing depth, movement, and raw energy. The metallic ink application adds a layer of vibrancy, allowing the snowy owl’s feathers and form to shimmer against the dark background. This careful balance of light and shadow gives the print an ethereal quality, reinforcing the mystical and regal presence of the owl. The owl is depicted perched atop a weathered barn, a recurring theme in Grzeca’s work, which often explores rural landscapes, industrial decay, and nature’s endurance. The structure beneath the bird appears to be fragmented or reconstructed, suggesting themes of transformation, resilience, and adaptation—elements frequently found in street pop art & graffiti artwork that comment on the changing urban and rural landscapes. Symbolism and Natural Iconography The snowy owl is often associated with wisdom, mystery, and silent observation, making it a fitting subject for Grzeca’s raw and evocative artistic approach. His work consistently merges mythology, wildlife, and urban decay, creating a narrative that feels both timeless and contemporary. The way the owl looms over the barn, almost as if it is emerging from the structure, suggests a spiritual connection between nature and human-made environments. This print also aligns with the broader ethos of street pop art & graffiti artwork, where animals and natural symbols are frequently used to represent freedom, survival, and resistance against industrial encroachment. The juxtaposition of organic and man-made forms in this piece echoes themes found in urban murals, stencil graffiti, and print-based street art, reinforcing the idea that wildlife remains ever-present even as cities expand. Dan Grzeca’s Influence on Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Grzeca’s printmaking style is deeply rooted in DIY aesthetics, a fundamental characteristic of street pop art & graffiti artwork. His dedication to hand-pulled silkscreen techniques, raw linework, and heavily textured compositions places him among artists who use printmaking as a powerful storytelling tool. The Reconstructed Snowy Owl print stands as a perfect example of his ability to merge intricate craftsmanship with urban expression, making it a sought-after piece among collectors and art enthusiasts. Through this work, Grzeca continues to push the boundaries of traditional screenprinting, proving that hand-crafted, limited-edition prints maintain their place in the evolving landscape of contemporary street pop art. His approach remains highly influential, reinforcing the enduring relevance of printmaking in modern urban and nature-inspired art movements.

  • Sale -10% The Cavalry Above The Clouds Original Acrylic Painting by Ben Kehoe

Ben Kehoe The Cavalry Above The Clouds Original Acrylic Painting by Ben Kehoe

The Cavalry Above The Clouds Original Acrylic Painting by Ben Kehoe One of a Kind Artwork on Wood Board by Street Art Pop Artist. 2013 Signed Acrylic Original Painting Size 20x16 Ready To Hang Ben Kehoe The Cavalry Above The Clouds Original Acrylic Painting 2013 The 2013 original acrylic painting The Cavalry Above The Clouds by American artist Ben Kehoe stands as a striking example of narrative imagination within contemporary Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Created on wood board and measuring 20 x 16 inches, this one-of-a-kind hand-painted piece blends surreal fantasy with symbolic undertones, demonstrating Kehoe’s signature ability to balance storytelling, humor, and social reflection through painterly technique. Signed by the artist and ready to hang, the work encapsulates the spirit of modern pop surrealism while remaining deeply rooted in the visual language of folk and street-influenced art. Imagery and Composition Set against a glowing orange sky filled with sweeping clouds, the painting depicts a lone figure riding a massive bald eagle through the heavens. The eagle, rendered in meticulous detail with layered feathers and a stern gaze, exudes both majesty and power. The rider, modest in scale and dressed in muted tones, grips the reins with a sense of calm determination, suggesting a symbolic partnership between human courage and natural strength. The backdrop’s warm tonal gradient evokes both serenity and tension — a dreamlike atmosphere that merges the mythic with the contemporary. The juxtaposition of the enormous bird of prey and the tiny rider introduces themes of freedom, dominance, and the pursuit of transcendence. Symbolism and Thematic Interpretation In The Cavalry Above The Clouds, Ben Kehoe explores the intersection between power and vulnerability, suggesting a narrative of human ambition soaring beyond earthly constraints. The eagle, long a symbol of freedom and national identity, becomes here a vessel for introspection rather than patriotism. The rider’s presence evokes the individual’s quest for control amid vast, unpredictable forces — an allegory for humanity’s ongoing negotiation with nature and self-determination. The painting’s surreal yet deliberate tone reflects Kehoe’s approach to allegorical storytelling, transforming fantastical imagery into layered social and psychological commentary. Ben Kehoe’s Artistic Vision Ben Kehoe, an American painter associated with the pop surrealist movement, is celebrated for his intricate narratives that blend humor, melancholy, and the absurd. His art often features anthropomorphic figures and fantastical scenes that mirror human emotion through metaphor and symbolism. Working primarily with acrylics on wood, Kehoe achieves a textural warmth and painterly precision that connect his work to both folk traditions and contemporary street-influenced aesthetics. The Cavalry Above The Clouds embodies his signature fusion of narrative depth and visual allure, offering a window into an imagined world where the boundaries between myth and modernity dissolve — a hallmark of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork at its most contemplative and poetic.

Long Live The People Silkscreen Print by Edward Nachtrieb x Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled 5-Color on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. 2020 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 500 Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print "Oct 1 is the 70th anniversary of Communist Party rule in China and the Chinese government is planning an extravaganza of choreographed contentment in the mainland while the people of Hong Kong will hit the streets in an effort to secure their rights. I’ve long believed that protests in the streets are an essential tool for meaningful change because the passion, courage, and visceral force of the participants in a mass protest send a powerful message that they are fully committed to their cause! Ed Nachtrieb photographed many incredible moments of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. I’m honored to collaborate with Ed on a set of two images based on his documentation 30 years ago, especially because pro-democracy and human-rights protesters are in the streets of Hong Kong right now! This image “Long Live The People” will be released as a print soon… more details to come. Check out Ed Nachtrieb’s thoughts on the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests." -Shepard Fairey- OBEY "After the People’s Liberation Army was sent in to suppress what is now called the “pro-democracy movement” on June 4, 1989, there was a liberalization of economic rules and policies. China then experienced a remarkable economic transformation. The idea: if people could get rich, they wouldn’t care so much about their freedoms. I think that’s a miscalculation. In Hong Kong today, ideas championed in 1989 have reappeared in a “Revolution of Our Time” in spite of the campaign to erase such “counter-revolutionary” thoughts from history. My images used in these prints are from energetic and optimistic moments of the pro-democracy movement. Victory was in the air. Progress seemed inevitable to those with arms outstretched and smiles beaming from their faces. Shepard’s work reflects their hopes and aspirations. The same ones that fortified those protesters in 1989 are now fuel for the passionate idealists on the streets today." -Edward Nachtrieb

The "Sing Songs" print series, limited to 30 signed and numbered editions, features holographic details and cutouts, adding a tactile and visual dimension rarely seen in prints. These embellishments not only enhance the artwork's allure but also echo the hands-on approach of street art, where the texture and materiality of the work are integral to its impact. Cultural Resonance and Aesthetic At 14x8.5 inches, each piece in this series commands attention with its size and the intricacy of its components. The choice of a risograph print underlines the artwork's connection to grassroots movements and underground culture, as risograph printers have long been the tool of choice for zines and independent publications due to their cost-effectiveness and DIY charm. The "Sing Songs" print, with its interplay of only two colors, demonstrates how minimalist approaches can yield complex visual experiences, a common thread in street art and pop art philosophies. The Duality of Street Pop Art in Modern Times The collaboration of Canilao and Thustra for the "Sing Songs" print series is a dance of contrasts and harmonies. Canilao's penchant for folk-art-inspired motifs and intricate detail corresponds with Thustra's inclination towards bold, graphic statements. This duality reflects the broader street pop art movement, which often balances nuanced personal expression and comprehensive, accessible commentary. Symbolism and Narrative in Visual Art "Sing Songs" carries a narrative open to interpretation, much like the street art that can be found in the public domain, inviting passersby to engage with its imagery and symbolism. The inclusion of cutout elements may suggest breaking away from traditional boundaries or a peek into a different dimension, a hallmark of street art's disruptive nature. Each visual element chosen by the artists engages the viewer in a dialogue, a story unfolding within the confines of the paper. The "Sing Songs HPM Risograph Print" is a testament to the creative vision of MCXT and the power of collaboration within the street pop art and graffiti artwork scene. The use of risograph printing, coupled with the limited edition nature of the work, ensures that each piece remains a unique artifact, a snapshot of the artists' combined expressions at the time of its creation. This artwork celebrates the ingenuity and spirit of street art, manifesting as a collectible piece that holds within it the essence of an entire cultural movement.
