Madsaki He-Man & Battle Cat MOTU Art Toy Sculpture by Madsaki
He-Man & Battle Cat Limited Edition Vinyl Art Toy Collectible Artwork by street graffiti artist Madsaki x MOTU. 2020 Madsaki and Mattel Creations teamed up to create these exclusive Madsaki x Masters of the Universe HE-MAN and BATTLE CAT Figures. The sculpture stands 16.75 inches tall. MADSAKI and MATTEL CREATIONS team up to create this exclusive and iconic drop-a scaled down re-creation of the larger-than-life HE-MAN® and BATTLE CAT® sculpture that turned the heads of fans and art critics alike as a centerpiece of MADSAKI'S "1984" solo exhibition at Tokyo's Kaikai Kiki Gallery in 2020. Measuring 17 inches tall and sculpted in an 80's cartoon style with a spray of jaw dropping modern-day street-style graffiti artwork, we proudly présent the most famous hero in all of Eternia", HE-MAN and the ferocious BATTLE CAT® in a manner that truly blurs the lines between toy and art masterpiece. Each sculpture includes a hand-signed certificate of authenticity from MADSAKI as well as white gloves to better care for your art piece. Displayed With Box MADSAKI x MOTU – He-Man & Battle Cat in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The He-Man & Battle Cat limited edition vinyl sculpture by MADSAKI, produced in collaboration with Mattel Creations in 2020, is a vivid collision of nostalgia, pop culture, and urban rebellion—an unmistakable contribution to the world of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Originally unveiled as a centerpiece at MADSAKI’s 1984 solo exhibition at Tokyo’s Kaikai Kiki Gallery, this scaled-down 17-inch version captures the wild energy of its monumental counterpart while delivering a high-octane dose of '80s cartoon absurdity, rendered in riotous color and graffiti-style flair. With fluorescent green, electric pink, and piercing orange as the dominant palette, the piece transforms two of the most iconic characters from the Masters of the Universe franchise—He-Man and Battle Cat—into contemporary street art figures. Far from being a simple homage, MADSAKI’s version reimagines the figures as avatars of pop mythology filtered through a graffiti artist’s eye. The weaponry, armor, and pose remain true to the original animation aesthetics, but the exaggerated colors and chaotic paint styling push this artwork into a new domain where fine art, vinyl collectible, and graffiti sensibility coexist. Nostalgia Weaponized in Urban Neon MADSAKI’s approach is rooted in remix culture, a cornerstone of Street Pop Art. By appropriating the visual language of childhood—He-Man being one of the most recognized animated heroes of the 1980s—and subjecting it to the visual distortion of neon saturation and aggressive outlines, he elevates kitsch into critique. This isn't just about remembering Saturday morning cartoons. It’s about weaponizing those memories and examining how commercial entertainment shaped identity, masculinity, and fantasy in late capitalist culture. Battle Cat, usually a symbol of strength and raw primal energy, becomes a neon-soaked beast of postmodern absurdity, outfitted in shocking pink and radioactive green. MADSAKI transforms him from a beast of war into a graffiti-coded monument of cultural excess. He-Man, still holding his power sword aloft, looks less like a heroic defender and more like a psychedelic gladiator from the subconscious of a street artist raised on VHS and irony. From Canvas to Vinyl: MADSAKI's Street Pop Mutation MADSAKI is no stranger to remixing icons. Known for his drippy-eyed renditions of Western masterpieces and manga figures, he blends Japanese street sensibilities with New York-style graffiti lineage. His transition into vinyl sculpture with Mattel represents the natural evolution of Street Pop Art—where the gallery wall meets the collectible shelf, and where nostalgia is no longer passive but radicalized. This figure blurs lines between sculpture and street installation. The color choices mimic spray can aesthetics, and the glossy surfaces echo the polish of vinyl murals and toy design. Like KAWS, Sket-One, or Ron English, MADSAKI proves that sculptural vinyl can be a medium of confrontation—not just consumption. The figure comes with a hand-signed certificate and gloves for display, reinforcing its identity as both an artwork and a cultural artifact. MADSAKI’s Place in the Graffiti-Pop Canon MADSAKI’s He-Man & Battle Cat is a definitive artifact of modern Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. It combines satire, technical precision, collectible appeal, and cultural critique. Rather than separating art from toy or low from high, MADSAKI merges all categories into one ferocious drop that challenges the viewer’s nostalgia and their assumptions about what constitutes fine art. This sculpture is not simply fan service—it’s subversion. It transforms childhood heroes into fluorescent avatars of postmodern identity, rendered in the chromatic chaos of graffiti language. By injecting the streets into the plastic skin of global pop icons, MADSAKI cements his place among the artists reshaping visual culture one spray, sculpt, and scream at a time.

By depicting the Red Baron Snoopy and a bomber, Woodstock holding a pistol gun, juxtaposed with a security camera and a snowman, the artwork comments on the surveillance state and the loss of innocence in contemporary society. The playful imagery contrasts with the underlying message about security, surveillance, and the militarization of everyday life. The transformation of familiar, comforting figures into agents of anarchy or resistance is a common theme in modern pop art and graffiti, where the recontextualization of well-known images challenges viewers' perceptions and expectations. Sonic Bad's portrayal invites reflection on how innocence and playfulness can be corrupted by societal control and violence. Crafting Commentary on Canvas and Metal The choice of a metal street sign as the canvas for "Snoopy Bad INC" is particularly resonant, suggesting a subversion of authority and a claim to the public space typically dictated by such signs. Sonic Bad's adaptation of the sign, a symbol designed to regulate and warn, into a piece of art underscores a reclaiming of agency, turning a tool of control into a medium for free expression. The use of mixed media in "Snoopy Bad INC" highlights Sonic Bad's versatility as an artist. Spray paint, a staple in graffiti art, brings an urban feel to the work. At the same time, incorporating other media adds texture and depth, creating a piece that is visually arresting and thought-provoking. The artwork stands as a testament to the power of street art to transform everyday objects and icons into profound statements. Sonic Bad's Artistic Evolution and Impact "Snoopy Bad INC" exemplifies Sonic Bad's evolution as an artist and his impact on street pop art and graffiti. Jeff Gillette Mickey Hiroshima Archival Print by Jeff Gillette
Mickey Hiroshima Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 290gsm Moab Fine Art Rag Paper by Jeff Gillette Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2013 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 30 Size 14x9 "I am from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. In the late 1980s, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal for two years. During this two-year stint, I visited every major city in India, finding myself exploring the huge slums found there. On my return home, I moved from the Mid-West to escape the snow to teach High School Art in Orange County, California. Since finishing my MFA at Cal State Fullerton, I have been exhibiting in galleries both at home and abroad. My work is most often landscapes. A major portion of my output is paintings of slums of the developing world, where I often add an element of western cultural privilege (and oblivion) into settings of urban blight. Inspiration for what I call “Slumscapes” comes from the first-hand experience of traveling. Most often I return over and over to my favorite destination: India. In the vast poverty-stricken fringes of its vast megalopolises, I trip out on how the economic disparities are obscenely extreme. I’ve been spending a lot of time in Mumbai slums: photographing, filming, creating Plein Aire paintings, and creating interactive street art. Besides depicting slums, my artwork portrays post-apocalyptic debris fields, landfills, and detritus-cluttered deserts. The Juxtaposition of Disney themes and beloved characters (i.e.: Mickey Mouse) with all these dystopias best conveys my personal views. Pondering contemporary social, political, economical and philosophical conundrums, I can’t help but feel absurdly helpless, pessimistic and humored about the future of Western Civilization…" - Jeff Gillette

Crafted from high-grade ceramic, the plate promises durability and an enduring visual appeal, making it suitable for functional and display purposes. The artwork, featuring a character mid-action as they consume a pill, is rendered in a stark black-and-white palette, bringing the dynamism and raw energy of the original manga panels to a static object. Accompanying the image is the phrase "THEY'RE JUST LIKE CANDY!" which adds a layer of narrative and intrigue to the piece. In this unique art object, the collaboration's spirit is palpable. The featured artwork captures the essence of the AKIRA series, while the incorporation of Supreme's logo recontextualizes the image within high-end street fashion. The choice to modify the Supreme logo and place it on the pill within the artwork speaks to the brand's knack for seamlessly integrating popular culture references within its products. This technique endears the piece not only to fans of the manga but also to followers of the Supreme brand, whose identity is cleverly woven into the narrative of the artwork. The underside of the plate is as much a part of the art as the top, displaying the classic Supreme Box logo in its original, vivid colors. The plate's design reflects the shared backgrounds of street art and graffiti – spontaneous, bold, and often provocative. Yet, it is refined through the lens of pop art, which takes the everyday object and elevates it to something extraordinary. The collaboration is symbolic of how street pop art often blurs the lines between commercial and high art, inviting discourse on the value and significance of art in everyday objects. As a piece of art, the Supreme AKIRA Pill Ceramic Plate carries the legacy of its manga inspiration into new territories. It's a physical representation of the cultural impact of the AKIRA series on the world of graphic novels and the broader canvas of pop culture. For Supreme, this plate adds to its repertoire of items that are at once contemporary and timeless, pieces that resonate with the cultural zeitgeist while retaining a sense of exclusivity and collectibility. In street pop art and graffiti artwork, objects like the Supreme AKIRA Pill Ceramic Plate challenge traditional notions of what art can be. They bring the vibrancy and edginess of street art into homes, merging with the functional aspects of everyday objects. This plate is not just a practical dish; it's a conversation starter, a piece of cultural commentary, and a collectible artwork all rolled into one, capturing street pop art's innovative and transformative spirit.

West Mash U30 by OG Slick: Hand Embellished Giclee Print as Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork West Mash U30 is a 2025 hand-embellished giclee print by renowned graffiti and street pop artist OG Slick. This limited edition artwork is released in a run of only 25 prints, each individually signed, numbered, and uniquely customized by the artist. Printed on 310gsm fine art deckled-edge paper and sized at 30 by 30 inches, this edition merges precision printing with raw artistic energy. The base giclee print is enhanced with hand-applied spray paint, splatter marks, brush strokes, and custom paint embellishments, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. Each variant showcases OG Slick’s signature blend of cartoon iconography, graffiti heritage, and layered cultural reference, reinforcing the work’s place within the language of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Iconography, Layering, and Visual Tension The focal image of West Mash U30 is OG Slick’s stylized gloved hand, an emblematic reinterpretation of classic animation infused with West Coast attitude. The hand is presented in a bold graphic pose, popping out from a chaos of yellow and black wheatpaste-style backgrounds filled with repeat tags, stickers, and pop motifs. Slick’s name is woven throughout the collage in repetition, surrounded by screen-style illustrations of his iconic hand gesture and cartoon references. This layered backdrop creates both motion and noise, resembling a graffiti wall caked with years of tags and posters. The white hand in the center, outlined in bold black, emerges from this field with a controlled clarity that contrasts with the rawness of the embellishments. The addition of unique paint splatter, drips, and stroke work transforms each print into a singular artifact, reinforcing the handmade authenticity expected in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. OG Slick’s Cultural and Artistic Significance OG Slick, born in Hawaii and based in Los Angeles, is a pivotal figure in graffiti and street pop art culture. His work explores identity, rebellion, and cultural symbolism using a visual language built from animation history and West Coast graffiti traditions. The gloved hand motif, reimagined countless times in his oeuvre, serves as a stand-in for presence, power, and cultural commentary. With West Mash U30, OG Slick continues his tradition of remixing visual archetypes and layering them with satire and edge. His use of HPM—hand-painted multiples—blurs the lines between fine art print and street-marked original. The graffiti ethos of improvisation and raw visual spontaneity is alive in every embellishment, giving each collector a completely unique piece. Limited Edition Printmaking as Street Art Expression Each copy of West Mash U30 is printed using high-fidelity giclee technology, preserving the sharpness and color integrity of OG Slick’s original design. However, the real power of this edition lies in the embellishments. The hand-painted splatters and custom markings give every piece its own visual rhythm and attitude. The deckled edges add a tactile element, invoking traditional fine art printmaking, while the visual language remains grounded in contemporary urban aesthetics. The limited run of only 25 ensures rarity, and the fact that each HPM is assigned at random adds an element of surprise and authenticity. In the context of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this print is not only a collector's item—it is a living extension of the artist’s wall-based practice, adapted for the gallery and personal collection with no loss of spontaneity or street-born energy.

Adam Lister Doraemon Archival Print by Adam Lister
Doraemon Archival Print by Adam Lister Limited Edition on 300gsm Hot Press Matte Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Art Artist Modern Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 8.5x8.5 Archival Pigment Fine Art Anime Cat Character Doraemon Smiling and Waving in Glitch Style Doraemon by Adam Lister: Pixel Precision and Nostalgia in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Doraemon by Adam Lister is a 2023 archival pigment print released in a limited edition of 50. Measuring 8.5 x 8.5 inches, this signed and numbered artwork is printed on 300gsm hot press matte fine art paper. The image reimagines the iconic Japanese anime cat Doraemon in Lister’s distinct geometric style, blending modern pixel art with traditional watercolor gradient techniques. Rendered in modular blocks of blue, white, red, yellow, and grayscale tones, the character smiles and waves with playful optimism. The familiar rounded form of Doraemon is transformed into an angular configuration of colored rectangles outlined in thick black, giving the piece a glitched aesthetic that straddles digital and analog influences. It sits firmly within the evolving conversation of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, where characters of cultural significance are reformatted to speak through new visual languages. Pixel Deconstruction and Anime Iconography Adam Lister’s work is known for breaking down globally recognized figures into pixelated patterns, and his treatment of Doraemon is both affectionate and abstract. With roots in Japanese manga and television, Doraemon symbolizes invention, protection, and childhood memory across generations. Lister maintains the essence of the character—the bell collar, round eyes, wide mouth—while reshaping them into flat, stacked color fields. This method of digital mimicry evokes early video game sprites, turning a complex emotional figure into a series of minimalist cues. In Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this shift from illustration to form asks viewers to consider how iconography is stored in memory and how cultural familiarity can persist even through distortion. Material Execution and Collectible Format Printed on heavyweight 300gsm hot press matte paper, the artwork features deep pigment saturation and smooth tonal gradation. Each area of color holds soft watercolor texture beneath the rigid pixel grid, adding warmth and nuance to the otherwise digital aesthetic. This contrast between machine-like structure and painterly touch reinforces Lister’s hybrid style, which exists between fine art and design, traditional media and digital reference. The edges of the figure are crisp but the transitions inside the background blocks create visual depth, anchoring the character in space without grounding it too firmly in narrative. The 8.5 x 8.5 inch format allows for intimate viewing, enhancing its function as a collectible artifact in the context of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Adam Lister’s Voice in the Remix Generation Adam Lister is an American contemporary artist whose practice centers on reinterpreting characters and scenes from popular culture through a lens of geometric abstraction and visual fragmentation. His work often spans film, television, gaming, and anime, making him a key contributor to the remix generation of artists operating within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. By translating hand-drawn characters into sharp-edged mosaic-like forms, Lister comments on how nostalgia and identity are shaped through media saturation and digital memory. His Doraemon print in particular bridges generational distance by invoking childhood warmth through a modern grid—an emotional construct remixed in a minimalist framework. It is both a visual tribute and a conceptual inquiry, exemplifying how Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork can honor heritage while pushing aesthetic boundaries.
