DJ Whoo Kid
DJ Whoo Kid (born Yves Mondesir on October 12, 1975) is an American-Haitian hip hop DJ and record producer. He is best known for his work with rapper 50 Cent and G-Unit Records, as well as for his various mixtapes featuring both established and upcoming artists. DJ Whoo Kid has had a long and successful career in the hip-hop industry, collaborating with numerous artists and hosting a radio show on SiriusXM Radio. Whoo Kid rose to prominence in the early 2000s as the official DJ for 50 Cent and the G-Unit crew. He played an important role in creating and promoting their mixtapes, which helped the group gain a massive following before they signed with major labels. As a result, DJ Whoo Kid became a prominent figure in the mixtape scene and was sought after by many artists for his skills and connections. In addition to working with 50 Cent and G-Unit, DJ Whoo Kid has collaborated with a wide range of artists such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, T.I., and Waka Flocka Flame. His work has earned him several accolades, including multiple Justo Mixtape Awards. Apart from his work as a DJ and producer, Whoo Kid has also ventured into other areas of entertainment, including acting and hosting television and radio shows. He has appeared in movies like "Morning Glory" (2010) and "Streets of Blood" (2009) and hosted his own radio show, "The Whoolywood Shuffle," on SiriusXM's Shade 45 channel.
