Born on November 17, 1981, in El Centro, California, a town that borders Mexicali, BC, MX, Montejano's cross-national upbringing has deeply influenced his art practice. His works reflect his observations and interactions between the Mexican communities on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Montejano's identity as a Mexican-American artist and his commitment to social change drive his bold designs and powerful messages.
