José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, better known as J Balvin, is a Colombian reggaeton singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on May 7, 1985, in Medellín, Colombia, J Balvin has become one of the most prominent artists in the Latin music industry, known for his infectious beats and catchy melodies. J Balvin gained international fame with his 2014 single "6 AM," featuring Puerto Rican singer Farruko. His breakthrough album, "La Familia," also released in 2014, further solidified his status as a rising star. Balvin's success continued with hits like "Ay Vamos," "Ginza," "Bobo," and "Safari." His 2018 album "Vibras" featured the massive hit "Mi Gente," a collaboration with French producer Willy William, which was later remixed by Beyoncé.
