She has created several short films, including "Quiet Please," "Pinky Toe," and "The Girls and Their Mothers." In addition to her animation work, Dery is also known for her printmaking and drawing. Her prints often feature intricate patterns and abstract shapes, while her drawings are more narrative in nature and depict scenes from everyday life. Dery has exhibited her work in galleries and film festivals around the world. She has also taught animation and drawing at various institutions, including the Rhode Island School of Design and the California Institute of the Arts.
