Kralik Glass, also known as Kralik Art Glass or Wilhelm Kralik Sohn, was a prominent Bohemian glass manufacturer based in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now the Czech Republic. The company was founded in the early 19th century by Wilhelm Kralik, who established the glassworks in the region known for its rich history of glassmaking. Throughout its history, Kralik Glass produced a wide variety of glass products, including vases, bowls, lampshades, and decorative items. The company was known for its innovative techniques, high-quality craftsmanship, and unique art glass designs. They utilized various styles, such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Jugendstil, and experimented with different glass techniques like iridescence, marbled glass, and pulled feather designs. Kralik Glass reached its peak during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when it was highly sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts. The company ceased operations in the mid-20th century, but its creations continue to be highly valued by collectors and glass enthusiasts today.
