Mark Bode

Mark Bode is an American comic book artist and illustrator, best known for his work on comics like "Cobalt 60" and "Miami Mice". He is also renowned for continuing the work of his father, Vaughn Bode, who was a legendary underground comic artist in the 1960s and 1970s. Mark Bode was born on February 18, 1963, in San Francisco, California. He has been drawing and creating art from a young age, heavily influenced by his father's work. After Vaughn Bode's death in 1975, Mark Bode decided to continue his father's artistic legacy by working on projects such as the "Cheech Wizard" series and other characters created by Vaughn. In addition to his comic book work, Mark Bode is known for his graffiti art, which he has been creating since the 1980s. His graffiti often features characters and elements from his father's work and has been showcased in various exhibitions around the world. Mark Bode's art style is often characterized by its bold, colorful, and highly detailed illustrations, with a distinctive blend of underground comic influences, graffiti art, and pop culture references. His work has gained a dedicated fan base and has been influential in both the comic book and street art scenes.
