Cope2- Fernando Carlo Consistency 5 Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Cope2- Fernando Carlo
Consistency- 5 Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic, Mixed Media on Cradled Wood Panel by Cope2 Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. In recent years Cope2 has been commissioned by Time Magazine, Converse, Adidas among others. His work has even crossed into the virtual realm with appearances in video games such as Mark Eckos: Getting up and Rockstar Games: Grand Theft Auto IV. During the mid-1990s Cope2 started slowly transitioning from the streets to the art scene of the galleries. At that time, street art was not as popular as it is in our days and the general public’s idea of it was still inextricably connected to ghettos, drug dealing, etc. The artist has never hidden his troubling past and avoids idealizing it, as a way to enhance his career and artistic persona. On the contrary, he mentions the following: “Oh man, there’s nothing to be proud of in hustling, but I had my first child at the age of 16, my son. So I had to make money to support him and his mother.

Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta Tomato Pop Green HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta
Tomato Pop Green HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta Uniquly Hand Finished 4-Color Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Acrylic HPM Uniquely Hand Embellished Limited Edition of 95 Artwork Size 22x30 Andy Warhol Style Cambols Soup Can With Hand Painted Paint Brushes In It HPM Silkscreen Print. (Stock Photo) The world of pop and street art has always been an evolving tapestry of daring ideas, iconic imageries, and cutting-edge techniques. One of the noteworthy additions to this vibrant canvas is the "Tomato Pop Green HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print" by the renowned artist, Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta. The year 2023 saw the unveiling of this masterpiece, which is not just another print, but a uniquely hand-finished 4-color screen print on fine art paper, signifying the meticulous craftsmanship of the artist. The allure of this artwork does not stop at its technical brilliance; its limited edition nature further augments its charm. Only 95 of these pieces exist worldwide, each signed and numbered by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta himself, reinforcing its exclusivity. Spanning a considerable 22x30 inches, the artwork portrays an image reminiscent of the celebrated Andy Warhol style. For those acquainted with Warhol's work, the piece immediately evokes memories of the iconic Campbell's Soup Can. Yet, Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta introduces an innovative twist. Instead of the typical content inside the can, there are hand-painted paint brushes, showcasing a merger of the mundane and the artistic, possibly commenting on the ubiquity and omnipresence of art in everyday life. This singular representation not only anchors itself in the legacy of pop art but also echoes the rebellious spirit of street and graffiti art. Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta's decision to utilize the HPM (Hand-Painted Multiple) technique underscores the artwork's duality. While silkscreen printing brings uniformity and repetition, each hand-finished touch ensures every piece is distinct. The "Tomato Pop Green HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print" stands as a testament to the fusion of traditional and contemporary art forms, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in its nuanced layers.

Bask Face Invader Pork Chop HPM Print by Bask
Face Invader- Pork Chop Original Hand-Painted Multiple (HPM) on Wood Cradled Panel ready to hang by Bask Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. “I wanted to do something special for the run that was going to coincide with the show. So the idea came to mind to not just offer a hand embellished print, but actually make a series of pieces in sets that were all hand-painted. No stencils or silkscreens, I wanted to offer actually painted pieces that are affordable to anyone who wants one. But as excited as I was about this idea, I then had to figure out how to make this happen within a reasonable time frame. Not to mention, coming up with 10 images that I would be able to duplicate almost identically 20 times over. Then the idea of bringing back some of the faces that have appeared in past works. Characters that Detroit inspired me to create. I have to add that this has been one of the most labor-intensive projects I've taken on. There are over 500 hours in these between myself and my assistant. Each panel was painstaking worked over.” - BASK

Faile Diamond FAILEdoodle- Black/Black Silkscreen Print by Faile
Diamond FAILEdoodle- Black/Black 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen, Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter Print on Archival Lenox Paper by Faile Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Diamond FAILEdoodle: Black/Black 19 x 25 Inches Each variant an edition of 25 Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter on Archival Lenox 100 Signed, Stamped and Embossed A new breed of Faile Dog was born last year. First found on the streets of New York this pup found its way into the studio and really came to life. We've been pushing our shimmering print process lately and this felt like the perfect print to introduce this into our practice. Four different editions, two in red glitter and two in black glitter. All stained, sprayed, painted and printed; it's all the hallmarks of a studio print now with a lot more shine. Using the words of the artists themselves, the artwork “gives a person the sense that it is there just for them. That they've stumbled across this great little gem amidst the chaos of daily life that can really speak to them. We try to build in a certain ambiguity that leaves the door open for the viewer to find themselves within the story.” This relational character of the FAILE’s art corresponds and becomes amplified by their consistent travel and lack of a permanent studio until the mid-2000s. This resulted in the duo’s embracement and utilization of urban streets and, naturally, gave the produced work a “site-specific” character since public art inevitably adjusts itself to the location of the display.

Eddie Colla Salvage Can 3 Original Spray Paint Can Sculpture Painting Eddie Colla
Salvage Can 3 Original Painting on Spray Paint Can Mixed Media Sculpture Artwork by street artist graffiti legend Eddie Colla. 2018 Signed Original Spray Paint Acrylic Mixed Media on Spray Paint Can Artwork Size 3x8 "I made this series of cans in China in 2018. I had been waiting for supplies to start working on larger pieces. The residency where I was had kept all their empty spray cans. I started making these small pieces from the used spray cans. It wasn't anything I planned; I just had an unexpected amount of free time waiting for my materials to arrive, so I worked with what was available. Each can is signed and dated on the bottom of the can." -Eddie Colla. Eddie Colla's Creative Philosophy "Salvage Can 3" by Eddie Colla is a striking mixed-media sculpture that exemplifies the innovative nature of street pop art and graffiti artwork. Created in 2018 as part of a series during a residency in China, this artwork represents a unique fusion of spontaneity and intentionality that defines Colla's approach to art. Utilizing discarded spray paint cans as his canvas, Colla transformed these objects into thought-provoking artworks, each signed and dated, capturing his signature style and commentary on contemporary issues. In the "Salvage Can" series, Eddie Colla embraced the unexpected interlude in his creative process to produce a series that reflects a core principle of street art: the ability to create with whatever materials. "Salvage Can 3" manifests Colla's resourcefulness and artistic agility. This series speaks to the essence of street art's improvisational nature, with Colla repurposing the used spray cans from his residency to craft pieces that stand as a testament to the transformative power of art. Artistic Expression in "Salvage Can 3" The visual language of "Salvage Can 3" communicates a poignant narrative. The figure depicted on the can, partially obscured by what appears to be a mask, invites viewers to ponder themes of identity, concealment, and the human condition in the modern world. Using spray paint and acrylic, traditional mediums in graffiti artwork, on an unconventional substrate highlights Colla's skills in mixed media and his ability to push the boundaries of street pop art. Cultural Impact of Eddie Colla's Work Eddie Colla is not merely a street artist but a cultural commentator whose works resonate with a global audience. "Salvage Can 3," like the rest of the series, is more than an object of visual intrigue; it is a commentary on the times and an expression of individuality amidst collective narratives. Colla's work is renowned for its critical engagement with socio-political themes, and this piece is no exception. It is a cultural artifact that challenges viewers to question and reflect, embodying the rebellious spirit that often characterizes graffiti art. Significance in the Art Market The collectible nature of "Salvage Can 3" lies in its unique origin story and the reputation of Eddie Colla as a graffiti legend. Each can be individual, marked by Colla's hand and signature, and carries the story of its creation—making it a coveted item for street art collectors. These pieces occupy a special place in the art market, bridging the gap between temporary street murals and enduring art collectibles. "Salvage Can 3" is not just a mixed media sculpture; it is a piece of the ongoing narrative of street pop art and its evolution in the contemporary art scene. "Salvage Can 3" profoundly reflects Eddie Colla's ability to capture the ethos of street pop art and graffiti artwork within a singular object. Through his innovative use of materials and poignant visual storytelling, Colla continues to influence and define the street art genre. This work stands as a reminder of the power of art to adapt and thrive, even in unexpected places and forms, resonating with a universal audience and cementing Colla's status as a pivotal figure in the world of art.

Bask Face Invader Buttons HPM Print by Bask
Face Invader- Buttons Original Hand-Painted Multiple (HPM) on Wood Cradled Panel ready to hang by Bask Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art.

MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra Sing Songs HPM Risograph Print by MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra
Sing Songs HPM Risograph Print by MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra 2-Color Riso Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Holographic Detail And Cut Out HPM Embellished Limited Edition of 30 Artwork Size 14x8.5 Artistic Innovation and Technique The "Sing Songs HPM Risograph Print" by the creative partnership MCXT, consisting of Monica Canilao and Xara Thustra, is a standout piece within the street pop art and graffiti artwork genre. This two-color risograph print on fine art paper marries the rawness of street art with the precision of pop art, resulting in a limited edition artwork that is both exclusive and expressive. The risograph printing technique utilized in this series is notable for its environmentally friendly approach and capacity to produce vibrant, saturated colors reminiscent of screen printing but with a distinctive texture and depth. The "Sing Songs" print series, limited to 30 signed and numbered editions, features holographic details and cutouts, adding a tactile and visual dimension rarely seen in prints. These embellishments not only enhance the artwork's allure but also echo the hands-on approach of street art, where the texture and materiality of the work are integral to its impact. Cultural Resonance and Aesthetic At 14x8.5 inches, each piece in this series commands attention with its size and the intricacy of its components. The choice of a risograph print underlines the artwork's connection to grassroots movements and underground culture, as risograph printers have long been the tool of choice for zines and independent publications due to their cost-effectiveness and DIY charm. The "Sing Songs" print, with its interplay of only two colors, demonstrates how minimalist approaches can yield complex visual experiences, a common thread in street art and pop art philosophies. The Duality of Street Pop Art in Modern Times The collaboration of Canilao and Thustra for the "Sing Songs" print series is a dance of contrasts and harmonies. Canilao's penchant for folk-art-inspired motifs and intricate detail corresponds with Thustra's inclination towards bold, graphic statements. This duality reflects the broader street pop art movement, which often balances nuanced personal expression and comprehensive, accessible commentary. Symbolism and Narrative in Visual Art "Sing Songs" carries a narrative open to interpretation, much like the street art that can be found in the public domain, inviting passersby to engage with its imagery and symbolism. The inclusion of cutout elements may suggest breaking away from traditional boundaries or a peek into a different dimension, a hallmark of street art's disruptive nature. Each visual element chosen by the artists engages the viewer in a dialogue, a story unfolding within the confines of the paper. The "Sing Songs HPM Risograph Print" is a testament to the creative vision of MCXT and the power of collaboration within the street pop art and graffiti artwork scene. The use of risograph printing, coupled with the limited edition nature of the work, ensures that each piece remains a unique artifact, a snapshot of the artists' combined expressions at the time of its creation. This artwork celebrates the ingenuity and spirit of street art, manifesting as a collectible piece that holds within it the essence of an entire cultural movement.
