Bask Face Invader Buttons HPM Print by Bask
Face Invader- Buttons Original Hand-Painted Multiple (HPM) on Wood Cradled Panel ready to hang by Bask Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. “I wanted to do something special for the run that was going to coincide with the show. So the idea came to mind to not just offer a hand embellished print, but actually make a series of pieces in sets that were all hand-painted. No stencils or silkscreens, I wanted to offer actually painted pieces that are affordable to anyone who wants one. But as excited as I was about this idea, I then had to figure out how to make this happen within a reasonable time frame. Not to mention, coming up with 10 images that I would be able to duplicate almost identically 20 times over. Then the idea of bringing back some of the faces that have appeared in past works. Characters that Detroit inspired me to create. I have to add that this has been one of the most labor-intensive projects I've taken on. There are over 500 hours in these between myself and my assistant. Each panel was painstaking worked over.” - BASK

Both remind us of the highest ideals we can aspire to and express my tireless optimism and commitment to be a positive force in the world. Even though the figures are painted in various colors, I wanted to return to a simplified color palette of pinks and grays for the print." -Buff Monster. An Enthralling Take on a Modern Icon Liberty Pink Silkscreen Print by Buff Monster, an American artist celebrated for his cheerful designs and bright color palettes, features a delightful reinterpretation of the Statue of Liberty in an 18x24 inch format. Released in 2021 as a signed and numbered edition of 100, this piece centers on the artist’s trademark motif of a melty, single-eyed character adorned with dripping ice cream elements. The result is a fusion of fantasy and cultural reference that resonates across fans of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Playful Imagery and Symbolic Meaning The melting, cyclopean face on this Statue of Liberty showcases Buff Monster’s distinctive style, blending sweet elements with cartoonish forms. The pink color palette amplifies a message of positivity and cheer, making the statue appear as a beacon of lightheartedness amid bustling cityscapes. The simplified palette also underscores a unifying concept: celebrating the higher ideals of optimism while remaining approachable and easy to interpret. The synergy between each shade of pink and gray creates a dynamic sense of depth, turning the statue into a luminous figure that contrasts nicely against the background. Craftsmanship and Collector Appeal Hand-printed silkscreens remain a significant element of Buff Monster’s portfolio, combining the spontaneity of street influences with the discipline of fine art techniques. The days when our leaders looked out for the people's interests have become a thing of the past—replaced by the strong man who squashes the voices of dissent to set things straight. Money elects leaders; in return, they owe a debt to the people that put them in Power—enacting our new public policy of greed and gangster capitalism. We slowly accept corruption, Law slowly fades away, and people begin to feel like democracy and a fair and equitable society were always just an illusion, a dream from the past that never really even existed." -Cleon Peterson

Florentijn Hofman Double Ducks Bronze Sculpture by Florentijn Hofman
Double Ducks Bronze Sculpture by Florentijn Hofman Limited Edition Vinyl Sculpture Collectible Artwork by Pop Street Artist. 2023 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 300 Artwork Size 7.87x4.49 New In Box Stamped/Printed Florentijn Hofman, a renowned Dutch artist, known for his colossal installations and sculptures that often evoke a sense of wonder and whimsy, conceived an iconic creation that has captured the hearts of many across the globe - the giant rubber duck. However, the Bronze Duck Sculpture carries an equally evocative, but less publicized charm. Born out of the same aesthetic that Hofman employs in his more prominent rubber duck, the Bronze Duck Sculpture serves as a tribute to the captivating simplicity of everyday objects. What sets this sculpture apart is its material and the juxtaposition it creates in the realm of pop art. Rendered in a more permanent and timeless medium, the Bronze Duck Sculpture reimagines a common bath-time toy as an emblem of art. Street art and graffiti are often characterized by their fleeting nature and propensity to challenge or augment the urban landscape. The permanence of bronze contrasts this, but at the same time, the familiar form of a rubber duck shrunk into a bronze sculpture establishes a bridge between the high art often associated with bronze sculptures and the more accessible world of pop and street art. The unassuming presence of the Bronze Duck Sculpture within the urban landscape acts as a conversation starter, engaging onlookers in dialogue about the boundaries between high art and popular culture. Through this, Hofman has gracefully woven the playful and the profound into an inseparable tapestry, reflecting both the joyous innocence and the reflective nostalgia associated with childhood memories, while also challenging the conventions of public art.

Luke Chueh Pin Cushion Giclee Print by Luke Chueh
Pin Cushion Artwork Limited Edition Giclee Print on 290gsm Moab Entrada Paper by Modern Artist Luke Chueh. 2010 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 20x20 Luke Chueh's "Pin Cushion" captures contemporary discomfort meshed with childlike simplicity, characteristic of the pop art movement's fusion of popular culture and fine art. Released in 2010, this limited edition giclee print resonates with the qualities of street art through its accessibility and the immediacy of its emotional impact. With its production limited to 100 signed and numbered pieces, it's crafted on 290gsm Moab Entrada paper, a choice that ensures longevity and enhances the visual experience with its textured surface. In the artwork, a seemingly innocent and straightforward character—a bear—becomes a vessel for a complex expression of emotion. The bear, punctuated by pins with tiny red hearts, stands against a deep red backdrop. This stark color palette is visually arresting and symbolic, possibly signifying pain, love, or a combination. The juxtaposition of an endearing childhood toy against the brutal reality of pain, suggested by the pins, strikes a powerful chord. It reflects Chueh's ability to navigate the nuances of human emotion, making a statement about the pain often hidden behind a calm exterior. "Pin Cushion" is more than a decorative piece; it's a commentary, subtle yet sharp, on the nature of suffering and the human tendency to conceal emotional distress. Luke Chueh himself is known for his anthropomorphic figures that tackle themes of despair with a satirical edge. Shepard Fairey- OBEY No Bees No Honey Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
No Bees No Honey Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Cream Speckle Tone Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 325 Artwork Size 18x24 Gold Metallic Ink "The Clash are my all-time favorite band and their frontman, Joe Strummer, is a hero of mine for his music, lyrics, wit, compassion for the underdog, and stance against injustice. To celebrate the release of JOE STRUMMER 002 and in honor of Joe’s 70th birthday, a limited edition print inspired by the Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros song, JOHNNY APPLESEED. Joe’s lyric “If you’re after getting the honey, then you don’t go killing all the bees” applies to lots of things, like mistreating factory workers, but for me the idea that bees are pollinators who are crucial to sustaining Earth’s fragile eco-systems is a powerful idea. I hope to honor Joe’s music and extend his ideas with my No Bees No Honey print. A portion of proceeds will go to the Joe Strummer Foundation." -Shepard Fairey The intersection of street art, pop art, and graffiti has often found its voice through artists who transcend the confines of traditional media to bring forth powerful messages. One such eminent figure in this realm is Shepard Fairey, known widely for his iconic designs and thought-provoking artistry. His piece, "No Bees No Honey," is a color hand-pulled limited edition silkscreen print that stands as a testament to Fairey's artistic prowess and his ability to interweave poignant messages with his art. Created on cream speckle tone paper, the print embodies a vibrant play of colors and is accentuated by gold metallic ink that gives it a unique touch. The allure of this piece, however, isn't just its visual appeal but also its rarity. With only 325 signed and numbered pieces available, it stands as a collector's item and a beacon of Fairey's dedication to his craft. Sized at 18x24, the artwork captures attention with its intricate details and the symbolic imagery it presents. What elevates this piece from merely being a work of art to a profound statement is the backstory that inspired it. The artwork draws its essence from the legacy of Joe Strummer, frontman of "The Clash" and a stalwart figure revered by Fairey. Strummer's dedication to justice, his compassion for the marginalized, and his undying spirit resonate deeply with Fairey, making him a consistent source of inspiration. The inception of "No Bees No Honey" can be traced back to a song by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros titled "JOHNNY APPLESEED." A line from this song, "If you’re after getting the honey, then you don’t go killing all the bees," serves as the driving philosophy behind Fairey's artwork. At a glance, this lyric speaks volumes about sustainability and the delicate balance of nature. By delving deeper, one recognizes its applicability to a myriad of societal issues, ranging from the exploitation of factory workers to the broader challenges faced by our ecosystem. The role of bees as indispensable pollinators, ensuring the continuation of life on Earth, is cleverly juxtaposed with Strummer's lyrics, creating an artwork that's as profound in its message as it is stunning in its design. Fairey's commitment to social causes and his admiration for Strummer converge in "No Bees No Honey," but they also manifest in tangible contributions. A part of the proceeds from this artwork is dedicated to the Joe Strummer Foundation, thereby furthering the cause and ensuring that art acts as a vehicle for positive change. In the world of contemporary art, pieces like "No Bees No Honey" remind us of the transformative power of creativity. Shepard Fairey's art is not just an aesthetic pleasure; it's a call to introspection, an invitation to ponder deeper societal issues, and a celebration of the indomitable spirit of figures like Joe Strummer.

"Marchers White" stands as a testament to the intersection of pop art and street art, encapsulated in the powerful medium of silkscreen printing. Cleon Peterson, the artist behind this captivating piece, introduces a stark, almost confrontational narrative to the world of contemporary art. Dated to 2016, the work highlights a row of tribal men, each gripping a blood-streaked sword, marching in an unbroken line. Their imposing silhouettes, juxtaposed against the unforgiving black backdrop, become symbolic of unity, resistance, and perhaps even revolt. Hand-pulled on deckled fine art paper, the tactile experience of the piece amplifies the already potent visual impact. Dalek- James Marshall Helping Hands Archival Print by Dalek- James Marshall
Helping Hands Archival Print by Dalek- James Marshall Limited Edition on Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Artist Modern Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 33 Off the Press Show Series Artwork Size 18x24 Archival Pigment Fine Art. Space Monkey Heads, Weapons & Trippy Shapes. Exploring the Psychedelic Geometry: Dalek's "Helping Hands" Dalek, also known as James Marshall, has emerged as a seminal figure in the transformation of street pop art into a form that fuses graffiti's raw, dynamic energy with the meticulous precision of fine art. His 2023 creation, "Helping Hands," is a limited edition archival print encapsulating this hybrid aesthetic. Limited to 33 signed and numbered pieces, the series is part of the "Off the Press Show Series," each print measuring 18x24 inches and printed on fine art paper. This artwork is a vibrant symphony of Marshall's iconic Space Monkey characters, a series of weapons, and a collection of shapes that defy the conventional perception of space and form. In "Helping Hands," the striking color palette and the array of trippy, psychedelic shapes invite the viewer into a world that is both familiar and alien. The Space Monkey heads, a recurrent motif in Dalek's work, are depicted with a visual language that speaks to the heart of street pop art and graffiti artwork. Each head, armed with an arsenal of whimsical weapons and surrounded by abstract forms, conveys a sense of playful aggression, a hallmark of Marshall's style. The Space Monkey Phenomenon in Modern Art The Space Monkey is more than just a character; it has become an emblem of Dalek's artistic journey and a symbol within the larger context of pop graffiti and street art. Initially a vehicle for Marshall to explore his style and identity, the Space Monkeys have evolved into a complex commentary on society, individuality, and the nature of conflict. With "Helping Hands," these characters are not passive but are actively engaging with the environment around them, which is a chaotic yet structured universe of shapes and colors. This archival pigment fine art print is a vibrant example of how street art motifs can transition into collectible fine art. The limited edition nature of "Helping Hands" elevates the Space Monkeys from urban walls to the sanctified space of galleries and private collections while still maintaining the accessibility and populist spirit that is intrinsic to street art. James Marshall's Visionary Contribution to Art James Marshall's contributions to the art world are characterized by a fearless blending of genres and a willingness to experiment with form and color. In works like "Helping Hands," he has distilled the essence of graffiti artwork into a format that challenges and expands the boundaries of pop art. His use of archival pigment on fine art paper signifies respect for the durability of art, contrasting with the ephemeral nature of traditional street art, which is often at the mercy of the elements and city ordinances. The complexity of "Helping Hands" lies in its visual impact and the layers of meaning each component represents. The Space Monkeys, armed and yet seemingly at ease, juxtaposed with the mind-bending geometric backdrop, create a tension that is both thought-provoking and visually arresting. Marshall's work is a dialogue between the viewer and the canvas, a conversation that delves into themes of existence, resistance, and the interplay between harmony and discord. James Marshall, who hails from the United States, has left an indelible mark on the contemporary art scene through his art. "Helping Hands" is a testament to his skill as an artist and his vision as a creator who seamlessly melds the street with the studio. As a piece of modern artwork, it not only represents a moment in time but also serves as a bridge to the future of art where the lines between street pop art, graffiti artwork, and fine art continue to blur and converge.
