Dan Christofferson- Beeteeth Im Sorry Im on Fire AP Letterpress Print by Dan Christofferson- Beeteeth

I'm Sorry, I'm on Fire AP Artist Proof 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Letterpress Print on Fine Art Paper by Dan Christofferson- Beeteeth Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. AP Artist Print 2011 Signed & Marked AP Artwork Size 6x10 Letterpress Print Fine Art. I'm Sorry, I'm on Fire by Dan Christofferson: Emotional Symbolism in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork I'm Sorry, I'm on Fire is a 2011 artist proof letterpress print by Dan Christofferson, widely known by his artist name Beeteeth. This rare 6 x 10 inch hand-pulled work exemplifies Christofferson’s approach to narrative symbolism through graphic minimalism and emotionally charged iconography. Printed in two colors, a muted coral red and deep maroon, the piece captures a burning moment of self-awareness and collapse, rendered through the haunting figure of a woman mid-transformation. With smoke rising from her lips and plumes of fire erupting from her head, the image rests between introspective grief and mythological catharsis. The AP marking and signature affirm its status as a one-of-a-kind proof from the edition, enhancing its rarity among collectors of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Symbolism Through Human Form and Mythic Fire The visual narrative unfolds with a bare female figure whose elongated neck and stylized hands echo religious iconography, while the turbulent plumes of smoke and flame emerging from her skull evoke chaos, pain, and psychic overload. Christofferson’s use of thick, clean outlines and selective crosshatching pulls from traditional comic aesthetics while amplifying the surreal quality of the scene. Her gaze is unwavering, defiant, and exhausted, suggesting an emotional combustion that is more internal than external. The print compresses human vulnerability and divine spectacle into a concise composition that maintains tension and stillness simultaneously. It is not a literal fire but an existential flare, making the title feel like a quiet scream. Mastery of Letterpress Technique and Limited Color Dan Christofferson’s work often fuses historical printing methods with contemporary design principles. This letterpress print emphasizes texture and depth in ways that digital work cannot replicate. The slight embossment of ink against thick fine art paper gives the artwork a tactile weight that enhances the themes of physicality and damage. The use of only two ink colors forces a visual economy that sharpens the contrast and pulls the eye toward the core gesture of flame, smoke, and flesh. This minimal palette creates maximum emotional resonance, mirroring the internal friction represented in the subject. As an artist proof, it showcases Christofferson’s hands-on control during the printing process, reinforcing the personal imprint left on each piece. Dan Christofferson’s Emotional Lexicon in Street Pop Art As Beeteeth, Dan Christofferson has developed a visual language rooted in sacred iconography, regional mysticism, and a clear emotional current. Based in Salt Lake City, his works often explore myth, ritual, and personal trial using contemporary symbolism and design precision. I'm Sorry, I'm on Fire stands apart as one of his most intimate illustrations, transcending literal storytelling to present a visceral metaphor for burnout, identity, and unresolved internal conflict. Its scale may be modest, but the emotional breadth and graphic boldness make it a significant artifact in the ongoing evolution of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. This print exists as a small yet powerful meditation on transformation, despair, and resilience.

This 2019 limited edition piece, signed and numbered with only 60 prints, is rendered on 290gsm Moab fine art paper, known for its superior archival quality. Measuring 12x15 inches, "Gravity" is a powerful example of Joncas' ability to blend classical motifs with a contemporary edge, creating a piece that is both timeless and immediate. Symbolism and Emotional Depth in 'Gravity' The artwork "Gravity" showcases Joncas' skill in creating deeply emotive and symbolic imagery. The central figure, a woman with flowing hair that transitions into ocean waves, expresses reflective calm. At the same time, a tattoo of a jellyfish on her back adds an element of delicate strength. The backdrop of a detailed moon against the starlit sky evokes a sense of cosmic wonder, emphasizing the themes of personal gravity and the natural forces that hold us. Joncas' choice to incorporate the jellyfish, an organism that moves with the ocean's currents, suggests a metaphor for resilience and adaptability. The subject's poised demeanor and tattoo imply a narrative of flowing with life's ebbs and flows while maintaining a sense of control and grace. This interplay of strength and fluidity is a recurrent theme in Joncas' work. It resonates deeply within pop and street art, where adaptability and personal expression are essential. Technique and Craftsmanship The technique employed in "Gravity" is a testament to Joncas' craftsmanship. The archival pigment delicate art print process ensures that each stroke and color is captured with clarity, maintaining the integrity and vibrancy of the original artwork. The careful selection of Moab's fine art paper for the print underscores the artist's commitment to quality and the longevity of her work, ensuring that each piece can be appreciated for generations. The limited edition nature of "Gravity" is significant for its collectible value and representation of Joncas' work within the little release culture prevalent in street art. In this context, the print bridges graffiti's more transient nature and the lasting impact of fine art prints, allowing Joncas to reach a wider audience while maintaining an air of exclusivity. Sarah Joncas' Contribution to Contemporary Art Sarah Joncas's contribution to contemporary art, particularly in pop and street art, is highlighted by her unique visual language that combines traditional portraiture with a graphic novel-like narrative style. Her work in "Gravity" and other pieces reflects a fusion of the personal with the fantastical, inviting viewers to delve into her subjects' layered meanings and emotional undertones. In "Gravity," Joncas captures the viewer's gaze with her compelling imagery and invites a deeper contemplation of the internal and external forces that shape our existence. Her ability to convey profound emotional states through her art places her at the forefront of pop artists redefining the genre for a new era. The limited edition 'Gravity' archival print symbolizes Joncas' artistry and is a significant piece within the broader tapestry of street pop art and graffiti artwork.

  • Celine Giclee Print by Bec Winnel

Bec Winnel Celine Giclee Print by Bec Winnel

Celine Giclee Print by Bec Winnel Artwork Limited Edition Print on Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2014 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 25 Artwork Size 12x13 Pale Woman with Flower in Her Hair. The Ethereal Beauty of Celine by Bec Winnel The giclee print titled "Celine" by the Australian artist Bec Winnel is a masterpiece that sits at the intersection of traditional portraiture and Street Pop Art, a limited edition offering that comprises only 25 signed and numbered pieces. This artwork, measuring 11.5x13 inches, captures the viewer's gaze with the delicate depiction of a pale woman adorned with a flower in her hair, a motif ripe with symbolism and quiet introspection. Bec Winnel's approach in "Celine" is one of intimate portraiture. The subject's pale visage and the soft pink tones of her hair offer a stark yet gentle contrast to the bold and often brash world of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork. The flower, a timeless symbol of nature's fleeting beauty, is rendered with such care that it seems to whisper stories of life's transient nature. The artwork, though rooted in the techniques of fine art, communicates the essence of street art through its emotional impact and accessibility. The use of giclee printing ensures that each nuance of Winnel's delicate pencil and pastel work is captured with precision, allowing the fine gradations of color and detail to shine through. This form of high-quality reproduction democratizes art, aligning with the Street Pop Art ethos of making art available to a wider audience beyond the confines of galleries and exclusive collections. Bec Winnel and the Contemporary Art Scene Bec Winnel, while perhaps not as widely recognized as some street artists, has earned a respected place within the contemporary art scene for her distinct blend of realism and fantasy. Her work often features women in moments of deep contemplation, surrounded by elements of the natural world that serve to underline their connection to the environment and to the cycles of life and death. This connection resonates with the thematic preoccupations of Street Pop Art, where the dialogue between the urban landscape and nature is frequently explored. "Celine" represents a poetic pause in the hustle of the street art world, inviting viewers to reflect on the softer side of humanity. The limited edition nature of the print adds a layer of exclusivity, yet Winnel's artistry bridges the gap between the elite art world and the democratic nature of street art. By creating a fine art paper version of her work, she extends an invitation to a broader audience to engage with her art in their own spaces. The allure of "Celine" lies in its ability to evoke a sense of ethereal beauty and vulnerability, characteristics that are often overshadowed in the bustling, dynamic spaces where Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork typically reside. The print holds a mirror to the quieter, more reflective aspects of human experience, much like a mural tucked away in a quiet corner of a busy city street might do. The enduring impact of "Celine" is its subtle challenge to the viewer: to slow down, to appreciate the beauty in stillness, and to consider the depth of the human experience. Winnel's choice to portray a woman in a moment of vulnerability is a powerful statement within the broader context of Street Pop Art, often dominated by louder, more aggressive themes. As "Celine" finds its home with collectors and art enthusiasts, it continues to weave its narrative, one that is as relevant today as it was in 2014. It stands as a testament to the possibilities of cross-pollination between the worlds of fine art and street art, a testament to the power of beauty and vulnerability in an often harsh and unforgiving world. Through her art, Bec Winnel contributes to the evolving story of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, ensuring that the narrative remains as diverse and multifaceted as the human experience itself.

Medusae PP Printer Proof Archival Print by Sarah Joncas Limited Edition Print on 290gsm Moab Fine Art Paper Pop Artist Modern Artwork. PP Printers Proof 2019 Signed & Marked PP Limited Edition Artwork Size 12x16 Archival Pigment Fine Art Delving into 'Medusae PP' by Sarah Joncas 'Medusae PP,' an archival print by Sarah Joncas, is a visual symphony of mythological resonance and contemporary finesse. As a Printer's Proof (PP) of a 2019 limited edition, this piece marks a unique intersection in Joncas's oeuvre, where the ethereal meets the tangible on fine art paper. Signed and drawn by the artist, the artwork measures 12x16 inches. It is printed on 290gsm Moab fine art paper, a testament to its enduring quality and the artist's dedication to preserving the integrity of her vision. Symbolism and Femininity in Joncas's Work The print, titled 'Medusae,' explores femininity and transformation, depicting a woman whose hair and form are an extension of the sea, with jellyfish-like tendrils that suggest a mesmerizing, if not slightly ominous, aura. This imagery evokes the myth of Medusa, a figure both feared and revered, and it resonates with the transformative power of nature—a theme that Joncas weaves with deftness throughout her work. In 'Medusae PP,' Joncas's subject is enigmatic, her gaze evading direct contact with the viewer, inviting a narrative that is as open to interpretation as the vast sea. Cool tones and the contrast of the subject's warm, flowing hair capture the viewer's attention, drawing them into a world where myth and modernity merge. Artistic Process and Limited Editions Creating a Printer's Proof like 'Medusae PP' involves a close collaboration between the artist and the printmaker, ensuring that each color and line reflects the original painting's essence. The PP designation signifies that this print precedes the numbered edition, reserved for the artist's use and typically held in high regard by collectors for its rarity and authenticity. Joncas's choice of archival pigment fine art reflects her commitment to creating works that endure beyond the ephemerality often associated with street art. By doing so, she elevates the medium, aligning it with the longevity of fine art while maintaining the accessibility and appeal inherent to street pop art. Sarah Joncas's Impact on Modern Art Sarah Joncas's impact on the contemporary art scene is marked by her ability to imbue her subjects with a sense of depth that transcends the canvas. Her work is often seen as a bridge between the immediacy of street pop art and the meticulous nature of fine art printing, positioning her as an essential figure in both domains. 'Medusae PP' is not merely an image but an invitation to delve into the psyche to confront the narratives we construct around femininity, beauty, and transformation. Joncas's work, particularly this print, is a testament to the enduring power of myth and the ever-evolving discourse of pop, street art, and graffiti artwork. Through her art, Joncas continues to challenge, enchant, and inspire, cementing her role as a pivotal artist in the narrative of modern art.

  • Monkey Trick Serigraph Print by Derek Hess

Derek Hess Monkey Trick Serigraph Print by Derek Hess

Monkey Trick Limited Edition Hand Pulled 4-Color Serigraph Print on Fine Art Paper by Derek Hess Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 SIgned & Numbered Limited Edition of 200, 4 colors and the white of the paper creates the tan lines." - Derek Hess Dissecting Derek Hess's Monkey Trick Serigraph In the intricate dance of colors and lines that characterizes Derek Hess's 'Monkey Trick,' the piece stands out as a testament to the artist's prowess in merging the intensity of graffiti artwork with the finesse of modern pop art. This limited edition, hand-pulled, 4-color serigraph print on fine art paper exemplifies how street art sensibilities can be transformed into gallery-worthy pieces. Hess, an American artist from Cleveland, Ohio, is celebrated for his work, which often reflects struggle, emotion, and human complexity themes. Serigraphy: Melding Street Art with Fine Art The technique used in 'Monkey Trick' is serigraphy, which refers to traditional screen printing methods. By utilizing a mesh to transfer ink onto paper, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil, Hess showcases his distinctive style—usually seen adorning city walls and skateboards. The statement by Hess, '4 colors and the white of the paper creates the tan lines,' underlines his meticulous methodology. The limited color palette does not limit the depth of the piece; instead, it enriches it, with the white of the paper becoming an active participant in the narrative. This is particularly notable in street pop art, where the environment often contributes to the artwork, just as the paper does here. The surroundings are not mere backdrops but integral components of the art. In 'Monkey Trick,' Hess utilizes the absence of color to suggest presence, much like how the silence in a conversation can speak volumes. It reflects how graffiti artists often must use the canvas of walls, adjusting and incorporating their imperfections and textures into their work. The Visual Language of 'Monkey Trick' The subject matter of 'Monkey Trick' is quintessentially Hess—a complex human figure in repose, suggestive of vulnerability or exhaustion, with a more petite figure, which appears to be a monkey, also in a state of rest. The human figure, rendered in robust, muscular lines, is influential yet passive. The monkey, often symbolizing mischief or playfulness in art, is shown in an unusual moment of calm, mirroring its human counterpart. This duality may reflect the multifaceted nature of humans, who possess both a primal, unrefined side and a more complex emotional capacity. Using only four colors to create this piece speaks to Hess's ingenuity. It challenges the viewer to find depth and texture in limitation, a common theme in street art where artists often work with a restricted palette due to environmental and material constraints. The serigraph embraces street pop art's raw, unfiltered ethos, which thrives on minimalism and directness to convey powerful messages. The lines and tan shades in 'Monkey Trick' create a tangible texture that can almost be felt, reminiscent of the tactile nature of walls that serve as canvases in urban landscapes. The Legacy of Derek Hess and 'Monkey Trick' Derek Hess's work has been influential in bridging the often segregated worlds of street art and fine art. 'Monkey Trick' is a notable example of how graffiti's spontaneity and vivid imagery can be harmoniously blended with pop art. It also indicates Hess's ability to convey complex human emotions through simple yet compelling compositions. This serigraph adds to his legacy as a pioneer in this blended art form. It serves as a cultural artifact, capturing the essence of an era where street art is increasingly recognized as a legitimate and influential art form. Through 'Monkey Trick,' Hess contributes to the dialogue on converging street art techniques with acceptable art principles. His work resonates within the art community and beyond, attracting those who need to be more traditionally engaged with art and inviting them to explore the layered meanings behind the deceptively simple visuals. Pieces like this exemplify how modern street pop art is not just about the art itself but also about the process and the narrative it invites the viewer to partake in. Through his art, Derek Hess asks us to consider the human condition, the rawness of our existence, and the beauty found within the constraints of form and color.

Temple Dancer Collectors Edition HPM Hand Embellished Silkscreen by Marwan Shahin 4-Color Print Acrylic Diamond Dust on Soy-Stained Egyptian Papyrus Paper. 2022 Signed & Numbered Acrylic Diamond HPM Embellished Limited Edition of 15 Artwork Size 14x17.5 Marwan Shahin Temple Dancer Collectors Edition HPM Silkscreen Temple Dancer Collectors Edition by Marwan Shahin is a 2022 hand embellished silkscreen that merges sacred architectural ornamentation with contemporary surface experimentation, positioned within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The composition presents a central female dancer framed within an elaborate temple-like structure rendered in rich gold tones. The dancer moves across a black and white checkered floor set against a cosmic night sky, creating a layered contrast between ritual, geometry, and infinite space. The ornate frame is densely detailed with symmetrical motifs, winged forms, and intricate patterns that echo ancient Egyptian design language while maintaining a bold graphic clarity associated with modern street-influenced aesthetics. Ritual Movement and Architectural Symbolism Marwan Shahin is an Egyptian contemporary artist who remains active and is recognized for integrating Pharaonic ornamentation with modern visual culture. In Temple Dancer, the figure appears poised in mid-motion, embodying rhythm and ceremony within a meticulously constructed shrine setting. The temple frame functions not only as decoration but as a symbolic portal, separating earthly performance from celestial backdrop. The checkered floor introduces a geometric element that contrasts with the organic papyrus texture, reinforcing themes of balance between structure and spontaneity. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this fusion of ancient ritual imagery and contemporary graphic execution reflects a broader practice of reinterpreting heritage through a modern lens. Hand Embellishment, Materials, and Edition Rarity This collectors edition is a four-color silkscreen print enhanced with acrylic and diamond dust embellishments, making each example unique within the edition. The artwork is printed on soy stained Egyptian papyrus paper, a historically significant surface that introduces natural fiber texture and tonal variation. Measuring approximately 14 by 17.5 inches, the piece is signed and numbered in a limited edition of 15, underscoring its exclusivity. The hand applied acrylic and diamond dust accents add dimensional highlights that interact dynamically with light, intensifying the gold architectural details and celestial elements. As a work aligned with Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Temple Dancer Collectors Edition stands as a refined fusion of ritual iconography, material experimentation, and limited edition craftsmanship.

This piece is a stellar example of how modern artists are intertwining elements of street pop art and graffiti to create innovative, visually striking artworks. Released in 2020, this limited edition hand-painted multiple (HPM) archival print showcases Wen's unique vision, merging traditional fine art techniques with the raw, expressive energy of street art. Helice Wen, an artist renowned for her emotional and evocative work, brings a fresh perspective to pop art. Her piece "In The Nature of Daydreaming No 2" is particularly notable for its use of acrylic paint on 290gsm fine art paper, a choice that speaks to the blend of durability and delicacy in her work. The artwork, measuring 17x24 inches, is a testament to her mastery of both scale and detail. The Significance of Printers Proof (PP) in Contemporary Art The PP, or Printers Proof, edition of this artwork holds a special place in the art community. Traditionally, printer's proofs were seen as a part of the printmaking process, reserved for the printer's use and not typically for sale. However, in contemporary art, these proofs have gained value as unique pieces, often more sought-after than standard editions due to their rarity and the direct involvement of the artist. Wen's decision to sign and mark this piece as a PP HPM further elevates its exclusivity and appeal to collectors. Hand Embellishment: A Bridge Between Fine Art and Street Aesthetics The hand-embellished nature of this artwork is a crucial aspect of its charm and value. Hand embellishments in art involve the artist adding individual touches to each print, making every piece in the edition unique. In the context of Wen's work, this practice blurs the line between traditional fine art prints and street art's spontaneity and individualism. The use of acrylic paint for hand embellishments in "In The Nature of Daydreaming No 2" not only adds texture and depth to the piece but also infuses it with the raw energy characteristic of graffiti. Archival Quality and Its Role in Modern Art Preservation The use of archival pigment in fine art is another aspect that sets Wen's work apart. Archival pigments are known for their long-lasting quality, ensuring that the artwork does not fade or deteriorate over time. This longevity is essential for collectors and art enthusiasts who view the purchase of such pieces as an investment. The 290gsm fine art paper used in this print further contributes to its durability, striking an optimal balance between weight and texture. In summary, Helice Wen's "In The Nature of Daydreaming No 2" is a fascinating example of how contemporary artists are melding the worlds of street pop art, graffiti, and fine art. Through her choice of medium, hand embellishments, and attention to archival quality, Wen has created a piece that not only stands out in the modern art landscape but also challenges and expands the boundaries of traditional art forms.

Printed on 290gsm Moab fine art paper, the 12x15 inch piece titled 'Gravity' features a female subject that encapsulates the gravity not only of physical forces but of deep emotional currents as well. Visual Elements and Symbolism in Joncas' Work In 'Gravity PP,' Joncas captures a celestial and intimate moment. The presence of the moon, a universal symbol of the feminine, adds layers of meaning about cycles, reflection, and change. Complementing this, the waves of her hair and the jellyfish tattoo on her back suggest fluidity and adaptability. The color is precise; the cool tones speak of the night and the ocean, realms of depth and mystery. Signal Flare Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Museum Natural Fine Art Paper by Adam Caldwell Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "This is a painting of one of my favorite models, Victoria. I painted her in front of a vintage photo of a railway signalman swinging a lantern at night. He’s sending information to the conductor of the train by moving the light in different patterns. There are also elements from an architectural model, a receding yellow fire hose, and some backward 1950’s ad copy. This piece was part of a recent show with Ekundayo and Joram Roukes "New Generation" at Thinkspace gallery in July 2013. I used ad copy, historical photos, and female figures as elements in most of the pieces. It’s a bit simpler than most of my compositions. The figure is really centered as well, I usually push for a more asymmetrical placement, but I like how it came out." - Adam Caldwell

Nude

Nudes in Graffiti Street Pop Art is a style of art that combines elements of street art, pop art, and nude portraiture. This type of art typically features a nude or partially nude subject depicted in a stylized, graffiti-inspired environment. The use of bold colors, graphic shapes, and text is common in this style of art, as well as the incorporation of urban motifs such as brick walls, graffiti tags, and street signs. The subject may be portrayed in a variety of poses, ranging from seductive and alluring to powerful and confrontational. Nude in Graffiti Street Pop Art is a contemporary form of art that is often used to challenge traditional notions of beauty and sexuality. It can be seen as a way of reclaiming public spaces and expressing individuality and creativity through unconventional means. Many artists working in this style use a mix of traditional and modern techniques, such as spray paint, stenciling, and digital manipulation. The resulting works of art are often vibrant, dynamic, and visually striking, and can be found in galleries, public spaces, and online platforms. Nude humans have been a common subject in various forms of art throughout history, and graffiti street pop art is no exception. While some graffiti artists may choose to depict nudity for shock value or to push societal boundaries, others may use it as a means of expressing sexuality, vulnerability, or even empowerment. In graffiti street pop art, nude humans can be depicted in various ways, ranging from hyper-realistic to stylized and abstract. Some artists may choose to incorporate other elements, such as bold colors or text, to create a more dynamic and expressive composition. However, it's important to note that graffiti street pop art is often created in public spaces without permission, which can lead to legal issues and controversy. As such, graffiti artists must carefully consider the appropriateness of their subject matter and the potential impact on the community. While the depiction of nude humans in graffiti street pop art can be controversial, it remains a common and significant aspect of the genre.
