It contains structures similar to the photoreceptors of our eyes. The entrance of light has an impact on the gland’s activity, including the hormonal regulation of our sleep and waking cycle. This involves brain wave changes. During meditative states, the pineal gland is similarly active as during nighttime. It helps the mind to enter a more relaxed state. -Nychos

Nychos

Nychos is an Austrian street artist, illustrator, and muralist best known for his unique, colorful, and detailed style, which often features dissected or x-rayed animals, humans, and pop culture characters. Born in 1982 in Styria, Austria, Nychos grew up in a hunting family, which influenced his fascination with anatomy and the inner workings of living creatures. Nychos has gained international recognition for his large-scale murals and collaborations with various artists, galleries, and brands. His work can be found on walls and in exhibitions around the world, including cities like Vienna, San Francisco, New York, and more. In addition to his signature dissection and x-ray style, Nychos is also known for his involvement in the Rabbit Eye Movement (REM), which started as an art project in 2005 and has evolved into a platform for street artists and a creative space in Vienna. The movement is about breaking through the boundaries of traditional art and celebrating the urban art scene.
