Purchase Bud Heads Original One of a Kind Acrylic Painting Artwork on Marijuana Test Packaging by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Ben Frost. 2021 Signed Original Bevis & Butthead MTV Cartoon Weed Tests Acrylic on At-Home Marijuana Drug Test Box Size: 7.3125 x 5.375 Inches Release: November 26, 2021 Depicting Bevis & Butthead from MTV Cartoon TV Fame on a Real upcycled Marijuana Drug Test Box. Ben Frost, a renowned street graffiti artist, has long been acclaimed for his unique approach to pop art. His ability to infuse contemporary culture with iconic imagery has made his artwork resonate with enthusiasts and critics alike. In 2021, Frost unveiled a piece that is both nostalgic and thought-provoking: an original acrylic painting on a genuine at-home marijuana drug test package. This piece measures 7.3125 x 5.375 inches and was officially released on November 26, 2021. What makes this artwork especially captivating is the portrayal of Beavis & Butthead, the infamous duo from MTV's hit cartoon series. Their caricatured expressions, combined with the thematic context of the drug test, create a satirical commentary on pop culture, substance use, and societal norms. By employing an actual upcycled marijuana drug test box as his canvas, Frost challenges the boundaries between street art and everyday objects, blurring the lines between the mundane and the artistic. Frost's choice of Beavis & Butthead, figures deeply embedded in 90s culture, taps into a sense of nostalgia. Yet, by juxtaposing them with the marijuana drug test, he also prompts a dialogue about changing perceptions of cannabis and its place in popular culture. The artwork serves as a testament to how iconic characters can be reimagined in unexpected contexts, sparking fresh conversations. This piece is emblematic of the transformative power of street and graffiti art. By taking everyday objects and recontextualizing them, artists like Ben Frost challenge societal perceptions and encourage viewers to question the world around them. His "Bud Heads" piece on the marijuana test packaging is not just a tribute to a beloved cartoon duo but a profound commentary on the shifting cultural landscape.

"The Arrow Pulse was one of the many popular designs I made for my recent solo exhibition, Remix in Detroit. I decided to make a smaller-sized edition (5) of the Arrow Pulse arrows as this design is a popular and iconic style of the arrow. I had designed the cut files on my computer with Adobe Illustrator, then had them laser cut to ensure their perfection and unison in shape. After the cuts were made I individually removed each pulse and assigned it a specific color. What you see in the finished piece is a colorfully, composed wooden arrow pulse." - Above

"My first batch was done in 2010/2011 and showed during the World's Largest Crappie Festival in Water Valley Mississippi, that was awesome. All are were made using pen, ink, and acrylic. My father was a B-26 pilot and my dad helped instill the interest in the subject. Two of the pieces feature a rock bass morphed with a B-26. These are completely different from what I normally do, whatever 'normal' means. Anyway, these were just a lot of fun to do. Whereas some of the intense pieces that I do I feel I have to do, as to purge it from my system, which works half the time (I tend to carry that stuff with me). I wanted to do these for fun and are a great distraction." - Derek Hess

We challenged ourselves to create the greatest and most efficient use of one recycled spray paint can. The flower bloomed naturally. This series is partially about us returning to our roots. When we started cutting these flowers we wouldn’t paint them as we often do now. We’ve been venturing into this raw approach with some of our other work. It feels right to introduce it with this series as well. The can popping process always produces a unique pattern inside the can because as the marble moves around inside it leaves its tracks on the wet paint. Each flower is cut by hand and no two flowers are exactly alike. Each one is completely unique. And every box we shipped had a custom paint job." - Canlove
Purchase Diaspora Ono Original Painting Enamel and Acrylic on Plexiglass by Askew One Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed Original Painting Artwork Size 20x14 Custom Framed "Back in April/May of 2014, I spent around 6 weeks based in Los Angeles making these paintings for my solo show at Known Gallery. I was living and working above the TSL store, trying my best to make enough work to fill the space which was a pretty daunting task. The pieces themselves are a combination of head portraits painted in what I would say are my signature style and then also a series of smaller abstract works that signify the idea of migration through the Pacific, both in a historic and recent sense. The model for the portraits was my friend Sereima aka Stelly, who’s Sydney-based and of Fijian descent. To me, she really represents the changing face of the Pacific in many ways. Following on from a really successful show in Sydney, ‘The Evolving Face’ I wanted to move away from the mugshot poses of the previous body and bring more attitude and exuberance and Sereima was perfect because she is the absolute embodiment of those things." - Askew Elliot O'Donnell, famously known as Askew One, is a self-taught artist born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1979. He has gained worldwide recognition in the street art community for his exceptional blend of graffiti and contemporary urban art. Askew One's pieces feature vivid colors, abstract designs, and complex patterns that delve into topics related to his Irish and Maori roots, as well as identity and culture. One of his stunning works of art is the Diaspora Ono Original Enamel Acrylic Painting. This visually striking piece is abstract, exploring the same themes as his other works. With a blend of graffiti and contemporary urban art styles, Askew One's Diaspora Ono Original Enamel Acrylic Painting is a must-see for any art enthusiast.

"The Psychedelic series were made in conjunction with my recent solo exhibition Remix. All of the Psychedelic series was designed with an emphasis on a sharp visual contrast. It's similar to 'Op-art' (Optical Art) which makes your eyes trip out. It's an effect that alters your perception as if you were on Psychedelic drugs. Some of the Psychedelic designs I made were featured in Remix, and some of them I created specifically for this series. This particular 'Sunset Strip' design I made with more complexity for my solo exhibition Remix. The Remix exhibition was about interchanging and swapping different cut patterns of the same design, in different colors to achieve the final piece. The Psychedelic series achieves a similar effect but in a more basic style of blocking out colors and allowing the negative space to reveal itself." - Above
Purchase Cacophony Hand-Painted Multiple Archival Pigment Print on 3 Tiers of Laser-Cut Acrylic Panel ready to hang by Eddie Colla Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2020 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 25 Laser Cut Acrylic Artwork Size 18x18 "The Goldfish Girl was created almost a decade ago. I often revisit it, and she has been the longest continuing character I've created. I often write backstories for these characters to help me create the pieces, but they are generally never shared with the viewer. The Goldfish Girl was born in mainland China and raised mostly by a single father. Her mother passed away when she was 18 months old from cancer. She was often very ill as a child and was eventually diagnosed with a compromised immune system disorder, although a precise diagnosis was never given. This is the reason for always wearing the mask and gloves. Her father bred Goldfish for a living and taught her that trade as a kid. They worked side by side and rarely had visitors because of her condition. Often being extremely ill and also losing her mother made her childhood difficult. As most children do, she tried to find a reason for her misfortune, a reason for why all this had happened to her and her father. Eventually, she believed that her illness and her mother's cancer were punishment by nature. A curse for toying with nature by breeding goldfish. Eventually, her father passed away as well. Needing to make a living and also to taunt fate she illegally immigrated to Hong Kong. There is a famous goldfish market in Mong Kok on Tung Choi street, but it's commonly called goldfish street. With a compromised immune system the most dangerous thing to her was other people. As a challenge to fate, she moved to one of the most densely populated cities in the world. She got a stall on Tung Choi Street. This is her challenge, to taunt fate and win, becoming the master of her own fate. These images are vignettes of her life in Hong Kong. I've never given the character a name. Sometimes she is pictured with a boombox because music becomes a central companion to her mostly solitary life. In the piece Cacophony I wanted her to literally be surrounded by the city. In some way, I think I tried to create a character that embodied a lot of traits I aspire to. To remind me.” - Eddie Colla

Purchase Detroit Series 16 Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic Paint, and Mixed Media on Cradled Wood by Cope2 Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. “I’ve always wanted to do a show like this. Lately, I have transitioned mostly into mixed media paintings, but I’ve been doing hardcore graffiti, if you want to call it that, for thirty-plus years. It’s what made me Cope2. But for me, I like to change it up and show all my different styles. So with this show, I’m able to show my evolution of style and how I’ve progressed. “Versatile” shows where I came from and what I’m doing now,” Cope2 said from his studio in New York. -Cope2 During the mid-1990s Cope2 started slowly transitioning from the streets to the art scene of the galleries. At that time, street art was not as popular as it is in our days and the general public’s idea of it was still inextricably connected to ghettos, drug dealing, etc. The artist has never hidden his troubling past and avoids idealizing it, as a way to enhance his career and artistic persona. On the contrary, he mentions the following: “Oh man, there’s nothing to be proud of in hustling, but I had my first child at the age of 16, my son. So I had to make money to support him and his mother.

Signed Original Warner Brothers Loony Toons Bugs Bunny Weed Tests Acrylic on At-Home Marijuana Drug Test Box Size: 7.3125 x 5.375 Inches Release: November 26, 2021 Depicting Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes Cartoon TV Fame on a Real upcycled Marijuana Drug Test Box. Ben Frost's innovative artistry consistently pushes the boundaries of contemporary street and graffiti art. A prime example of this can be found in his "Bugged Out" piece, an original acrylic painting masterfully created on an actual at-home marijuana drug test package. This intriguing artwork measures 7.3125 x 5.375 inches and was unveiled on November 26, 2021. Drawing from the rich pop culture tapestry, Frost chose to depict the iconic Bugs Bunny from Warner Brothers' beloved Looney Tunes series. The mischievous smile and familiar pose of the cartoon rabbit is instantly recognizable, offering a dash of nostalgia. However, it's the contrast of this playful character with the serious undertones of a marijuana drug test that creates a powerful visual and conceptual juxtaposition. This choice stimulates conversation about societal norms, substance use, and the evolving landscape of popular culture. Using an upcycled drug test box as his canvas, Frost challenges the traditional paradigms of art. It speaks to the ethos of street and graffiti art, where unconventional mediums are often embraced to make bold statements. The decision to pair Bugs Bunny with this particular backdrop is not merely aesthetic; it invites viewers to ponder the interplay between recreational substances and the entertainment world and how perceptions change over time. In "Bugged Out", Ben Frost has once again demonstrated his uncanny ability to intertwine cultural icons with contemporary issues, delivering a piece that resonates on multiple levels and solidifying his reputation as a visionary in street art.
Nicole Gustafsson Tanuki Fighter Original Acrylic Painting by Nicole Gustafsson
Purchase Tanuki Fighter Original One of a Kind Acrylic Painting Artwork on Fine Art Paper by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Nicole Gustafsson. 2014 Custom Framed & Matted Signed Original Image 3x3 Frame 8.5x8.5 Nicole Gustafsson's Artistic Vision Gustafsson's work, including "Tanuki Fighter," is often marked by an infusion of vibrant colors and imaginative elements that speak to the innocence of childhood fantasies and the complex narratives in urban street art. Her technique involves using acrylics—a medium known for its bright, opaque colors and quick drying times—allowing for the dynamic and layered compositions that have become her signature. The "Tanuki Fighter" is a testament to her skill in manipulating this medium, resulting in a visual spectacle that is as much a fine art piece as an emblem of pop culture. The "Tanuki Fighter" is an original acrylic painting on fine art paper by Nicole Gustafsson, whose work has significantly influenced street pop art and graffiti artwork. This particular piece, created in 2014, is a quintessential example of Gustafsson's unique aesthetic, which merges the whimsy of pop art with the raw edge of street art, creating a distinctive and recognizable oeuvre that has captivated a global audience. Depiction and Symbolism The painting depicts a tanuki, a creature often found in Japanese folklore, known for its mischievous spirit and shapeshifting abilities. Gustafsson has given this mythical creature a contemporary twist, portraying it as a fighter with a determined expression and a fighting stance. The choice of a tanuki as the subject matter is a nod to the playful and often fantastical themes prevalent in street pop art while also embodying graffiti artwork's transformative and rebellious spirit. The tanuki is presented in a simplistic yet expressive style, with attention to the textural details that give the character a lifelike presence. Its pose and attire are reminiscent of a sumo wrestler, adding a layer of cultural reference and humor to the piece. Using a monochromatic color scheme for the tanuki against a contrasting vibrant green background emphasizes the figure, drawing the viewer's eye directly to the subject. Composition and Framing "Tanuki Fighter" is not just notable for its subject and style but also for its presentation. The original image, measuring 3x3 inches, is custom framed and matted to an overall size of 8.5x8.5 inches. This deliberate framing choice highlights the artwork's intimacy and intricacy. The piece's scale, when paired with the boldness of its content, plays with the viewer's perception, demanding a closer look and personal engagement with the work. The framing choice also speaks to Gustafsson's understanding of her artwork's role as standalone pieces and as part of a larger narrative in someone's living space. A framed piece of art carries a different weight and presence compared to unframed street art, and "Tanuki Fighter" bridges these two worlds, bringing the raw energy of street art into the curated environment of home galleries. Cultural Impact and Collectibility As an original piece by a famous street graffiti artist, "Tanuki Fighter" holds significant value for collectors and enthusiasts of street pop art. Original works represent a tangible connection to the artist's vision and narrative, offering an authentic slice of the culture and era that produced it. Moreover, the piece's status as a one-of-a-kind artwork elevates its desirability, making it a sought-after item for those looking to own a piece of contemporary art history. The work's uniqueness is further solidified by Gustafsson's hand in its creation, with the artist signing the piece. This assures its authenticity and marks it as an integral part of Gustafsson's artistic journey. Collectors of such pieces often view them as investments, not just in financial terms but also as cultural artifacts that capture the essence of a particular artistic movement or style. In summary, Nicole Gustafsson's "Tanuki Fighter" embodies the playful spirit and cultural blending that defines street pop art and graffiti artwork. Its clever use of folklore, combined with a modern aesthetic and presentation, makes it a standout piece that captures the imagination and reflects the evolving nature of contemporary art. As an original, signed, custom-framed piece, it holds a special place within Gustafsson's body of work and the broader context of street-inspired art.

It stands out as an original signed work, bearing the distinct aesthetic that Gustafsson is celebrated for— a fusion of enchanting landscapes and engaging characters that tell a story beyond their contained canvas. The Whimsy of Street Pop Art in Gustafsson's Work In "Night Bear," we witness the convergence of street art's accessibility and pop art's mass appeal with a narrative quality that is deeply personal and illustrative. Gustafsson's work is characterized by her ability to craft vibrant and serene scenes, encapsulating moments that seem to be taken from a dream or a far-off fantasy land. Purchase Diaspora Tolu Original Painting Enamel and Acrylic on Plexiglass by Askew One Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. Following on from a really successful show in Sydney, ‘The Evolving Face’ I wanted to move away from the mugshot poses of the previous body and bring more attitude and exuberance and Sereima was perfect because she is the absolute embodiment of those things." - Askew One Born in 1979 in Auckland, New Zealand, Elliot O'Donnell is a self-taught artist who is widely recognized in the street art community as Askew One.
