  • The North Road Original Gouache Wood Painting by Chris Austin

Chris Austin The North Road Original Gouache Wood Painting by Chris Austin

The North Road Original Gouache Painting by Chris Austin One of a Kind Artwork on Wood by Street Art Pop Artist. 2023 Signed Gouache Painting Original Artwork Size 10x10 Chris Austin's extraordinary "The North Road" original gouache wood painting, is an exemplar of how contemporary art can challenge and redefine our conventional understanding of space and form. This piece of art, which seamlessly fuses elements of pop, street and graffiti art, is instantly captivating and thought-provoking. It uniquely presents a surreal scenario where a shark is depicted flying through taxi cabs amid city traffic. Austin's bold and idiosyncratic style confronts the viewers with the reality of urban chaos and the power of imagination. The artist's use of gouache, a type of watercolor paint that can produce intensely vibrant colors, allows for a rich depiction of the otherwise everyday urban landscape and the completely out-of-place ocean predator. The brightness of the taxis and the shark, contrasted with the muted, almost monochromatic background of the cityscape, gives the composition an intense visual impact, typical of pop and street art. In the realms of street and graffiti art, such pieces not only provide aesthetic pleasure but are also often imbued with social and political commentary. Austin's painting could be seen as a critique of urban congestion and pollution, using the incongruous image of the shark to draw attention to the unnaturalness of city life. Alternatively, the flying shark might symbolize the survival instincts and adaptability needed to thrive in a bustling city. "The North Road" stands as a testament to the limitless creativity and capacity for social commentary inherent in the genres of pop, street, and graffiti art. It continues to captivate audiences with its vibrant colors, surreal subject matter, and the compelling dialogue it prompts about our relationship with urban spaces.

  • What Drones? HPM Spray Paint Wood Stencil by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Denial- Daniel Bombardier What Drones? HPM Spray Paint Wood Stencil by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

What Drones? Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Spray Paint, Acrylic, Stencil, Mixed Media On Cradled Wood Panel by Denial Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of HPM Stencil 5 Artwork Size 48x30 Canadian artist Denial and Australian-born Ben Frost have joined forces in a bold exhibition of new work that explores the boundaries of appropriation, in confronting re-imaginings of our current dystopian society. Self-confessed ‘visual thieves’, both artists have had a long history of stealing and subverting the cultural icons that the advertising and consumerist world has thrust upon us, to create new and pertinent interpretations that are as confronting as they are humorous. Denial and Frost formed an instant friendship since their meeting in Canada in 2011 and have been creating engaging street and gallery work ever since. "Company of Thieves" sees their collaboration push further, with large and small-scale works that reference Pop Art, Graffiti, and the corporate world they rebel against. Denial’s art is strongly political and social since the artist takes specific positions against issues, such as capitalism, consumer culture, and advertisements. More importantly, the artist is aware of his choices and motivations: “I like to think of myself as activist pop art. How I relate with cartoons and graphics is a lot easier than I do with photo-realistic stuff" Another aspect of Denial's work is humor. His work is satirical, which, by definition, means that it uses humor as a confronting mechanism.

  • Vampire USA Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Ben Frost Vampire USA Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Vampire USA Company of Thieves Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic and Mixed Media On Wood Panel by Ben Frost Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2013 Signed Original Spray Paint & Acrylic Wood Cradled Ready To Hang Painting Artwork Size 24x32 Vampire USA by Ben Frost: A Bold Intersection of Culture and Critique Ben Frost's "Vampire USA" from the "Company of Thieves" series is a vivid example of modern pop art's seamless fusion with street sensibilities. The striking spray paint, acrylic, and mixed media composition on a wood panel embody the rebellious spirit that fuels much of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork. Created in 2013, this signed original artwork measures 24x32 inches and is cradled and ready to hang, offering a stark commentary on American culture through street art aesthetics. Australian artist Ben Frost is known for his visually arresting work that often repurposes the iconography of consumerism and popular culture to create new, challenging narratives. "Vampire USA" exemplifies Frost's approach, utilizing familiar symbols and subverting them to critique American society. The vampire motif layered over the stars and stripes of the American flag creates an immediate and unsettling juxtaposition. The vampire, traditionally a symbol of parasitism and predation, becomes an allegory for the darker aspects of the American dream, suggesting a nation that feeds off others or perhaps even itself. The intensity of the artwork is heightened by Frost's choice of medium and technique. The raw, visceral quality of spray paint, often associated with the underground graffiti scene, clashes with the precision of acrylics to create an anarchic and meticulous piece. This duality reflects the complex nature of American culture, where order and chaos often coexist. Decoding the Symbolism in "Vampire USA" In "Vampire USA," the flag is not just a backdrop but an integral part of the narrative. The stars and stripes become the vampire's skin, the fabric of its being, suggesting that the entity and the nation are inseparable. The use of red, white, and blue – colors that evoke feelings of patriotism – is transformed into a visual scream that challenges the viewer to reassess their understanding of national identity and values. The choice to paint on wood panels also contributes to the artwork's impact. The organic texture of wood grounds the piece in a tactile reality, in contrast to graffiti's ethereal and often ephemeral nature. It is a statement of permanence, an assertion that the questions and issues raised by the painting will not simply vanish with the morning light. "Vampire USA" is a powerful piece of street pop art that embodies the genre's ability to reflect and critique society. Ben Frost's work captures contemporary culture's zeitgeist, using the streets' language to engage with deeper themes of identity, consumption, and the American psyche. As the artwork hangs poised for display, it serves as a bold reminder of art's potential to confront, unsettle, and inspire dialogue.

  • Union Pacific Chilled Express Street Sign Original Acrylic Painting by Lyric One Union Pacific Chilled Express Street Sign Original Acrylic Painting by Lyric One

Lyric One Union Pacific Chilled Express Street Sign Original Acrylic Painting by Lyric One

Union Pacific Chilled Express Original One of a Kind Acrylic Paint Painting Artwork on Studded Distressed Cradled Wood by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Lyric One. 2019 Signed Hand-Painted Ready To Hang Original Acrylic Paint Wood Panel With Realistic Raised Rivets Size: 24 x 36 Inches Release: August 15, 2019 Capturing the Essence of Transient Motion in Street Art The 'Union Pacific Chilled Express' is a striking original acrylic painting by the famous street graffiti artist Lyric One. This 2019 hand-painted piece on a studded distressed cradled wood panel, with realistic raised rivets, measuring 24 x 36 inches, embodies the fusion of street pop art and graffiti artwork. It resonates with the movement and commercial vibrancy that are the lifeblood of the railroads, an homage to the transient nature of both freight and art. Industrial Narratives in Lyric One's Work Lyric One's artistic endeavor into the world of transportation and industry is encapsulated in this significant work. The subject matter – a Union Pacific refrigerator car used for transporting perishable goods across vast distances – is not a common muse for artists. However, Lyric One elevates this everyday industrial object to a piece of art, meticulously capturing the textures and surfaces that tell a story of travel, trade, and the passage of time. The artwork, signed and ready to hang, was released on August 15, 2019. It reflects the artist's deft ability to translate street pop art's ethos onto various canvases. The choice of distressed wood and the attention to detail, such as the raised rivets, are reminiscent of the textures found in urban environments. These rivets add a tactile element to the piece and echo the industrial nature of rail transport – each one could represent the countless connections and junctions found along the rail networks. Symbolism and Aesthetics in Graffiti Artwork In 'Union Pacific Chilled Express,' the contrast between the practical function of the chilled express service and the vibrant expression of graffiti art is striking. The bold, ice-blue lettering against the stark white background captures the viewer's attention, drawing them into a world where the industrial and the artistic collide. Snowflake motifs not only signify the refrigeration aspect but also add an element of fragility, a subtle nod to the impermanence often a theme in street art and the world of commerce. Lyric One's work is a testament to the dynamism of street pop art. With each brush stroke on the cradled wood, the artist brings to life the hum of the railway lines, the chill of the cargo holds, and the omnipresence of industry in our daily lives. The artwork is not just a static piece to be admired; it is an active participant in the dialogue about the role of industry in society and the omnipotent influence of commerce in our visual culture. This piece by Lyric One reminds us that street pop art and graffiti artwork are not confined to walls and alleyways but are dynamic forms that can transform any surface into a narrative. The 'Union Pacific Chilled Express celebrates this versatility and the ability of street artists to capture the essence of motion, industry, and life's transient nature in their work.

Lately, I have transitioned mostly into mixed media paintings, but I've been doing hardcore graffiti, if you want to call it that, for thirty-plus years. It's what made me Cope2. But I like to change it up and show all my different styles. So, with this show, I can show my evolution of style and how I've progressed. "Versatile" shows where I came from and what I'm doing now," Cope2 said from his studio in New York. -Cope2 Cope2's Detroit Series 16: An Emblem of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork Cope2, a name synonymous with the gritty vibrancy of street pop art and graffiti artwork, presents us with "Detroit Series 16", which encapsulates the essence of urban expression. This 2010 original painting is a vivid example of the fusion of spray paint, acrylic paint, and mixed media on cradled wood. At a sizeable 24x24 inches, this ready-to-hang piece is an authentic Cope2 creation, complete with his iconic bubble letters that burst with the energy and spontaneity characteristic of his work. This particular piece of the Detroit Series is a rich tapestry of color, texture, and form. Using cradled wood as a substrate represents a departure from the temporary walls and subway cars that traditionally serve as canvases for graffiti artists. Cope2's choice of material marks a conscious step towards the permanence and longevity of his art, aligning with his desire to evolve and adapt over his thirty-plus years of creating. By employing a mixed media approach, Cope2 bridges the gap between graffiti's raw, street-level artistry and the refined, deliberate nature of studio-created works. The Evolution of Style in Cope2's Work The journey that Cope2 describes in his transition to mixed media paintings is evident in "Detroit Series 16". The artwork serves as a visual narrative of his stylistic evolution, revealing the layers of growth and change that define his career. In his own words, the versatility of his art showcases the breadth of his experience, from the unbridled expressions of 'hardcore graffiti' to the complex, multidimensional pieces he crafts today. The piece tells the story of an artist who is not content with the status quo, continuously pushing the boundaries of his medium to explore new techniques and concepts. The essence of street art, emphasizing accessibility and community engagement, is preserved in this work, even as it embraces elements of pop art's focus on mass media and popular culture. Cope2's work, mainly "Detroit Series 16", is a testament to the transformative power of art to convey personal journeys and societal narratives. It is a visual representation of the artist's belief in change, the potential of graffiti to evolve, and his ability to reflect these shifts through his art. Impact and Legacy of Cope2's Detroit Series The impact of "Detroit Series 16" extends beyond the visual appeal of its vibrant colors and intricate forms. It represents a moment in time within the broader narrative of street art's assimilation into the fine art world. Cope2's work, with its signature aesthetic and commitment to graffiti's core values, has played a pivotal role in redefining the perceptions of street-inspired art. The series, particularly this piece, exemplifies the fluid nature of contemporary art, where genres intersect and new forms emerge. As street art continues to gain recognition and respect within the art community, works like "Detroit Series 16" stand as milestones along this path of cultural acceptance. They are reminders of the roots of this art form in the uncommissioned, often unsanctioned expressions found in urban environments worldwide. Yet, they also signify the possibility of transcendence, of art that can rise from the streets to hang on the walls of collectors and enthusiasts who value the authenticity and raw power that graffiti embodies. In assessing Cope2's "Detroit Series 16" legacy, one cannot help but recognize the artist's influence on the trajectory of street pop art and graffiti artwork. His ability to navigate the transition from street to studio without losing the essence of graffiti's spirit is remarkable. The series offers a visual testimony to Cope2's enduring relevance in the art world, highlighting his role not just as an artist but as a chronicler of street art's dynamic and ever-evolving language. Through his creations, Cope2 continues contributing to the dialogue around what constitutes art, who can create it, and where it deserves to be seen.

This blend of introspection and external commentary positions "Thriller" within a unique space in contemporary art. Shark Toof and the Do-It-Yourself Ethos of Street Art Shark Toof's preference for Detroit as a backdrop for his creative process tells of his affinity for the do-it-yourself, or DIY, ethos often associated with street art. Shark Toof's "Thriller" celebrates the evolving narrative of street pop art and graffiti artwork. The interplay of these mediums on the well-worn surface of the skateboard deck highlights the artist's dedication to authenticity and lived experience. The deck itself, scuffed and used, contributes to the artwork's narrative, suggesting a life and history that parallels the transient and often ephemeral nature of graffiti itself. Exploring the Cultural Context of the Graffiti Skate Decks Skateboarding culture and graffiti have long been intertwined, both seen as forms of street-level expression that challenge mainstream norms and celebrate individuality. By applying the graffiti aesthetic to a skateboard deck, Sonic Bad x Madhaterz Bad Crew fuses these two worlds and comments on the commodification of rebellion and the commercialization of street culture. Once a functional tool for transportation and tricks, the deck becomes a mobile canvas that carries the artist's message wherever it goes. The splash of colors and the intricate designs serve as a visual lexicon of street pop art, where the message is not always direct but is always felt. The piece does not shy away from the gritty origins of its art form, proudly displaying signs of wear and tear. This authenticity is central to the work's impact, grounding it in reality while allowing it to serve as a piece of visual poetry. The 'Splash Untitled Graffiti Deck' is more than just an object; it is a snapshot of the cultural zeitgeist of the early 21st century, encapsulating the spirit of defiance and creativity that defines street pop art. The artwork symbolizes the unyielding force of urban artistic expression and its ability to infuse everyday objects with profound meaning. Madhaterz Bad Crew, whose real identity, like many street artists, is shielded from public knowledge, embodies the anonymous heroism often celebrated in street art circles. The artwork continues to resonate with fans of skate culture and graffiti, serving as a reminder of the power of art to transform, confront, and engage. In the 'Splash Untitled Graffiti Deck,' Sonic Bad x Madhaterz Bad Crew has created a piece that is a visual feast and a cultural artifact that speaks to the heart of what it means to be a creator in the urban landscape. It is a celebration of street art's raw, untamed energy and its indelible mark on popular culture.

  • Hollow Breath Original Acrylic Charcoal Painting by Craww Hollow Breath Original Acrylic Charcoal Painting by Craww

Craww Hollow Breath Original Acrylic Charcoal Painting by Craww

Hollow Breath Original One of a Kind Charcoal & Acrylic Painting Artwork on Cradled Wood by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Craww. 2013 Signed Original Acrylic Painting Artwork Size 23.5x31.5 on Wood Cradled Panel Ready to Hang Fine Art. Exploring the Depths of Craww's Hollow Breath "Hollow Breath," a captivating original artwork by the acclaimed street graffiti artist Craww, is a poignant example of how the raw energy of street pop art & graffiti artwork can be channeled into more traditional fine art mediums. This one-of-a-kind piece, created in 2013, is a symphony of charcoal and acrylic on a cradled wood panel, showcasing the artist's adeptness with both materials. The 23.5x31.5 inches artwork provides a generous space for Craww's dark, dreamlike vision to unfold. Signed by the artist, "Hollow Breath" captures the essence of Craww's signature style, which often features ethereal female figures enmeshed with elements of nature. The painting explores recurrent themes in his work: the duality of beauty and melancholy and the intricate dance between life and death. The charcoal lends a softness to the painting, allowing for subtle gradations and depth, while the acrylics bring a vibrancy that pierces through the monochromatic veil. Technique and Symbolism in Craww's Hollow Breath In "Hollow Breath," Craww's use of charcoal and acrylic paints is not merely a choice of preference but a deliberate decision to convey complex emotional states. The charcoal, with its smoky and diffuse quality, creates a sense of impermanence and fragility, echoing the transient nature of life. Meanwhile, the acrylics, known for their boldness and clarity, highlight the painting's focal points, such as the lilies and roses, symbols of purity and passion. The cradled wood panel serves as an ideal substrate for this piece, its solidity starkly contrasting the delicacy of the imagery. This juxtaposition reflects the contrasts found throughout Craww's work, where strength and vulnerability often coexist. The wood's texture adds an organic feel to the piece, grounding it in the natural world that frequently influences Craww's art. Craww's Unique Position in Contemporary Art Craww is uniquely positioned in contemporary art, bridging the gap between the often separate worlds of street art and fine art. "Hollow Breath" is a testament to his ability to navigate these realms, bringing street art's immediacy and authenticity into a format traditionally associated with galleries and museums. The originality of this painting and its readiness to hang make it not just a work of art but a statement piece ready to grace the walls of an art connoisseur. The sad beauty of "Hollow Breath" resonates with those familiar with Craww's work in public spaces. Yet, it also stands alone as a powerful piece of fine art, inviting interpretation and admiration from viewers who may or may not be acquainted with his street art. This versatility and broad appeal make Craww's work particularly compelling within the contemporary art scene. "Hollow Breath" encapsulates the haunting allure of Craww's artistic vision, merging the fluidity of charcoal with the intensity of acrylics on a canvas as enduring as wood. This original painting is a striking example of how street pop art & graffiti artwork can transcend their urban roots to create fine art that is both profound and accessible, carrying the power to move and mesmerize within the quiet walls of an interior space.

Cope2- Fernando Carlo Detroit Series 24 Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Cope2- Fernando Carlo

Detroit Series 24 Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic Paint, and Mixed Media on Cradled Wood by Cope2 Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2010 Signed & Titled Original Spray Paint Acrylic Paint Mixed Media Painting on Cradled Wood Panel Ready to Hang Graffiti Artwork Bubble Letter Size 24x16 "I've always wanted to do a show like this. Lately, I have transitioned mostly into mixed media paintings, but I've been doing hardcore graffiti, if you want to call it that, for thirty-plus years. It's what made me Cope2. But I like to change it up and show all my different styles. So, with this show, I can show my style evolution and how I've progressed. "Versatile" shows where I came from and what I'm doing now," Cope2 said from his studio in New York. -Cope2 Cope2 and the Intersection of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The "Detroit Series 24 Original Painting" by Cope2 marks a significant milestone in the fusion of street pop art and graffiti artwork. A masterful blend of spray paint, acrylic paint, and mixed media on cradled wood, this 2010 piece, sized at 24x16 inches, is signed and titled by the artist himself. The artwork is a ready-to-hang testament to Cope2's journey in the art world, vividly encapsulating his thirty-plus years of experience with what he calls 'hardcore graffiti.' This piece is a bold declaration of the artist's evolution, embodying the diverse styles Cope2 has embraced and mastered over the years. The artwork's bubble letters pop against the wood panel, showcasing Cope2's ability to marry the spontaneity of street art with the permanence and texture that fine art mediums like wood and acrylics provide. "Detroit Series 24" is not just an artwork; it is a narrative, a visual autobiography that charts the artist's progression from the streets of New York to the refined spaces of galleries. Cope2's adaptation to mixed media paintings is a conscious choice that speaks to his desire for growth and exploration within his craft while also honoring the roots of graffiti that laid the foundation for his career. Reverberations of Cope2's Artistic Evolution Cope2's commitment to showcasing his stylistic evolution is palpable in "Detroit Series 24". The artwork is a physical manifestation of the versatility he speaks of. This versatility has allowed him to remain a relevant and celebrated figure in modern art. Through this series, he offers a visual history of his personal development, displaying the range of his artistic capabilities. The series is a celebration of change, of the potential within the graffiti art form to adapt and thrive in various environments and formats. In this piece, as with others in the series, there is a dialogue between street art's raw, energetic quality and the thoughtful, intentional nature of studio-based work. The artwork serves as a bridge, connecting the often underrepresented art form of graffiti with the mainstream narrative of contemporary art. It is a testament to the legitimacy and depth of street pop art and graffiti artwork, challenging the notion that these forms of expression are somehow less valid than their traditional counterparts. The Legacy of Cope2's Detroit Series in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The legacy of "Detroit Series 24" extends beyond its aesthetic achievements. The work is a significant contribution to the ongoing conversation about the place of street art within the larger context of art history. Cope2's journey reflects the journey of graffiti itself, from an act of defiance to a respected art form that commands space in galleries and private collections alike. His work, particularly in this series, encapsulates the spirit of resilience that defines much of street art and graffiti, showcasing an adaptability that has enabled the art form to flourish. Cope2 has not only documented his evolution through his art but has also mirrored the evolution of street pop art and graffiti artwork. "Detroit Series 24" is a vibrant celebration of this progression, a canvas where the past and the present coexist, where the language of the streets is translated into the lexicon of fine art. Cope2's contribution to the art world through this piece and others in the series is invaluable, marking him as a pivotal figure in recognizing and appreciating street-inspired art. Ultimately, "Detroit Series 24" is a bold statement on the transformative power of art and the artist's enduring quest for expression and reinvention. Through his work, Cope2 continues to inspire and challenge, pushing the boundaries of what street pop art and graffiti artwork can be. His pieces are not just works to be hung on a wall; they are dynamic conversations, ever-evolving as the artist himself evolves, and inviting viewers to witness the unfolding story of one of the most influential modern artists in the realm of street pop art and graffiti.

Icy & Sot Peoples Power Original Stencil Spray Paint Wood Panel Painting by Icy & Sot

Peoples Power Original Painting Mixed Media Stencil & Spray Paint on Cut Out Wood Panel by Icy & Sot Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed Original Spray Paint & Stencil Painting on Cut-Out Wood Artwork Size 21x46 "Life Size" "American Dream is inspired by the homeless guy holding ag Starbucks cup and asking for money. There are a lot of homeless people in New York, but they are invisible in between skyscrapers. We painted him bigger than the Empire State Building so he can be noticed more." - Icy &. Sot Decoding the Visual Language of 'People's Power' The artwork titled 'People's Power' by the street artist duo Icy & Sot is a striking example of modern pop art that interweaves the raw intensity of graffiti with the engaging allure of stencil work. Created in 2015, this original piece was meticulously crafted using mixed media, predominantly stencil and spray paint, on a cut-out wood panel. The artists' choice of materials and their technique tell of their deep roots in the traditions of street pop art and graffiti artwork, where the use of spray paint is iconic, and stencils allow for sharp, repeatable imagery that can be rapidly executed in the often tricky environments of public spaces. Artistic Expression on Social Realities 'People's Power' resonates with the ethos of street art by boldly tackling socio-political themes. Icy & Sot's work often reflects a keen awareness of contemporary issues; this piece is no exception. The narrative behind the 'American Dream' — the inspiration for 'People's Power' — stems from the artist's observation of a homeless individual in New York City, cradling a Starbucks cup while begging for money. This poignant scene, set against the backdrop of towering skyscrapers, sparked the creation of an artwork that seeks to amplify the presence of the often overlooked and marginalized figures in urban landscapes. The Symbolic Imagery of 'People's Power' In 'People's Power,' the central figure is depicted as larger than life, overshadowing the iconic Empire State Building. This artistic choice elevates the subject, literally and figuratively, granting him a visibility that is usually denied in real life. The mixed crowd surrounding the central figure appears to be in solidarity, suggesting a collective uprising or a unified stand against societal issues. The vibrant colors splashed across the face of the central figure add a sense of vitality and perhaps a glimmer of hope amidst the stark black and white of the crowd. Technique and Form in Icy & Sot's Creative Process The technical prowess of Icy & Sot is evident in the stencil work's precision and the spray paint's controlled chaos. By opting for a wood panel as the substrate, the artists step away from the transient nature of street walls, allowing 'People's Power' to exist as a portable manifesto of their artistic and ideological stance. The cut-out form of the artwork disrupts the conventional rectangular canvas, giving the piece an almost sculptural presence that echoes the three-dimensional experience of encountering street art in the wild. Contextualizing 'People's Power' Within Street Pop Art 'People's Power' is more than a visually captivating piece; it is a cultural artifact that encapsulates the spirit of street pop art. Icy & Sot have successfully harnessed the expressive potential of graffiti artwork to communicate with a broad audience, transcending linguistic and cultural barriers. The artwork's accessibility is crucial to its impact, following the tradition of street art that speaks directly to the public, unfiltered by the gatekeeping norms of traditional galleries and museums. Impact and Legacy of 'People's Power' The legacy of 'People's Power' lies in its ability to confront and converse with its audience about uncomfortable truths. As with many seminal works in the street pop art genre, this piece's value is amplified by its relevance to contemporary societal discourses. Icy & Sot's commitment to addressing the uncomfortable facets of modernity is what positions 'People's Power' as not only an object of aesthetic admiration but also as a beacon of social consciousness in the realm of modern art.

Add Fuel Fragment 01 Original Mixed Media Ceramic Painting by Add Fuel

Fragment 01 Original Mixed Media Ceramic Painting by Add Fuel of a Kind Artwork Framed by a Street Art Pop Artist. 2020 Signed Mixed Media Original Three Panel Ceramic Painting Size 23.8x29.8 Ready To Hand Fragmented 2 Piece Artwork FRAGMENT 01, 2020 Three Panel Ceramic 23.8 × 29.8 Significance of Fragment 01 in Street Pop and Graffiti Artwork Fragment 01 emerges as a distinctive piece within the realm of Street Pop and Graffiti Artwork, symbolizing a harmonious blend of traditional ceramic art with the raw vibrancy of street art. Crafted in 2020, this original mixed-media artwork by the artist Add Fuel stands out as a one-of-a-kind framed piece that resonates with the dynamic energy of pop art. At the heart of Fragment 01 lies the artist's innovative approach to ceramic painting, a medium often associated with classical and traditional art. However, Add Fuel recontextualizes this perception by introducing elements typical of street art, thus creating a bridge between two ostensibly disparate worlds. The three-panel ceramic painting, with dimensions of 23.8 by 29.8 inches, captures the essence of Street Pop Art through its fragmented two-piece composition. The artwork's division into panels underscores the fragmented nature of street art, often found in unexpected locations and subject to the ravages of the urban environment. The visual narrative of Fragment 01 is characterized by a bold use of color and pattern, hallmarks of both pop art and graffiti. The dominant blues and intricate designs pay homage to the azulejo tradition of ceramic tilework, while the fractured presentation speaks to the spontaneity and impermanence of graffiti. By signing the piece, Add Fuel imparts a sense of identity and ownership, a nod to the graffiti artist's signature tag. The artwork is also ready to hang, emphasizing its accessibility and the street art ethos of art for the people. The Legacy of Fragment 01 in Contemporary Art Fragment 01 does not just represent a fusion of artistic styles; it also embodies the cultural dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary street expression. Through its form and medium, the artwork invites viewers to reflect on the evolution of art as it moves from the protected confines of galleries to the open and often contested spaces of the street. It challenges preconceived notions about the value and place of art in society and celebrates the democratization of art that street art and pop art have long championed. The significance of Fragment 01 extends beyond its aesthetic appeal; it is a testament to the growing recognition of street art and pop art as legitimate and influential art forms. By encapsulating the spirit of these movements within the time-honored medium of ceramic, Add Fuel's artwork bridges past and present, offering a powerful statement on the enduring nature of art and its capacity to adapt and thrive in various contexts. The piece is a vibrant example of how Street Pop and Graffiti Artwork continue to shape and inspire the trajectory of contemporary art. Fragment 01 is not merely a work of art but a vibrant narrative that captures the intersection of history, culture, and innovation. Through this piece, Add Fuel propels the conversation about the place of street art within the broader artistic canon, asserting its value and relevance in today's art landscape.

Lady With Sphinx Original Painting Oil On Linen Mounted To Wood With Frame by Aaron Nagel Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed Original Oil Painting Framed by Aaron Negal Measuring 26x30 "'Lady With a Sphinx" was humbly modeled after the Leonardo DaVinci painting, "Lady With An Ermine." It is my second attempt at a painting modeled after a classic, the first being my version (of Bouguereau’s version) of the Piéta. I have always liked "Lady With An Ermine;" the lighting on the figure, the stark background, the lettering in the upper left-hand corner, and of course, the Ermine (because what the fuck is an ermine?!)Trying to get the reference photo looking similar was a challenge, but an enjoyable one, as I never have a concrete idea of how I want a reference to look, so there tends to be a lot of trial and error. This time, I messed with it until the pose and lighting were right, then just took a few hundred pictures there, with very subtle pose and expression changes. This piece was painted for the “Three Figures” exhibition at Maxwell Alexander Gallery in June of 2014. It was a 3-man show, with Jeremy Mann, Sean Cheetham, and myself. They are two of my favorite artists, so it was a huge honor to show with them." - Aaron Nagel

Some of the Psychedelic designs I made were featured in Remix, and some of them I created specifically for this series. This particular 'Sunset Strip' design I made with more complexity for my solo exhibition Remix. The Remix exhibition was about interchanging and swapping different cut patterns of the same design, in different colors to achieve the final piece.
