  • Diamond FAILEdoodle- Red/Tan Silkscreen Print by Faile

Faile Diamond FAILEdoodle- Red/Tan Silkscreen Print by Faile

Diamond FAILEdoodle- Red/Tan 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen, Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter Print on Archival Lenox Paper by Faile Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Diamond FAILEdoodle: Red/Tan 19 x 25 Inches Each variant an edition of 25 Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter on Archival Lenox 100 Signed, Stamped and Embossed A new breed of Faile Dog was born last year. First found on the streets of New York this pup found its way into the studio and really came to life. We've been pushing our shimmering print process lately and this felt like the perfect print to introduce this into our practice. Four different editions, two in red glitter and two in black glitter. All stained, sprayed, painted and printed; it's all the hallmarks of a studio print now with a lot more shine. Once their artworks enter the public sphere, the viewer is invited to engage and interact with them. FAILE does not believe in a higher meaning or an absolute truth that exists outside of the audience’s perception, which eventually is encouraged to sculpt the meaning. The creative process jumps from one theme to the other, connecting everything in an intertextual delirium and, in the end, the audience takes the responsibility of interpreting it. This is, by itself, a revolutionary act of anti-elitism, since the meaning of the work can be now found in the mass’s reaction, placing FAILE in the spectrum of site-specificity and relational aesthetics.

The choice of archival pigment for the fine art print underscores the artist's commitment to excellence, ensuring that the vibrancy of the colors and the sharpness of the details endure the test of time. Casey Weldon's Artistic Vision in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Casey Weldon's work stands out for its ability to resonate with a broad audience, drawing on universal and unique elements. The Kitty Kitty Party Party print is an embodiment of this, showcasing an array of feline faces, each with its distinct personality and charm. The convergence of these myriad cat portraits against a seamless backdrop signifies street pop art's eclectic and multifaceted nature, where diversity and individuality are celebrated. Weldon's choice to keep this collection to a limited edition run is a nod to the exclusivity often accompanying street art pieces. By doing so, he not only heightens the work's allure but also pays homage to the graffiti art tradition where pieces, by their very nature, are transient and scarce. The technique employed in creating the Kitty Kitty Party Party archival print indicates Weldon's meticulous attention to detail. Fine art paper as a medium allows for a depth and texture that would be lost in standard reproductions. The archival pigment ensures that each print retains the original's clarity and color fidelity, essential in translating Weldon's vision to a tangible form. The impact of such a work is multifaceted. It stretches beyond the aesthetic pleasure it provides, delving into social commentary. The anthropomorphic expressions of the cats in the print serve as a playful yet profound exploration of human emotions and societal roles. This is where the print crosses over from being a mere piece of art to becoming a conversation starter, a trait often associated with the most impactful street pop art & graffiti artworks. The Significance of the Artwork's Limited Edition Nature In the art world, the significance of a limited edition is manifold. For the Kitty Kitty Party Party print by Casey Weldon, this limitation to 50 editions elevates its status from a mere reproduction to an artifact of cultural significance. Each signed and numbered print represents a piece of the artist's soul, a fragment of their creative essence shared with the collector. It is this intimate exchange that imbues the artwork with its actual value. Moreover, the scarcity of the print aligns with the ethos of graffiti artwork, where the impermanent nature of the art form often makes each piece a fleeting gem. Collectors of Weldon's print can revel in the knowledge that they are among a select few to own a snapshot of the artist's more extensive commentary on contemporary society. Casey Weldon's Kitty Kitty Party Party archival print is more than just a visual delight; it is a celebration of the individuality and expression that define street pop art & graffiti artwork. • Its a Nightmare Charlie Freddy Krueger Giclee Print by Raid71

Raid71 Its a Nightmare Charlie Freddy Krueger Giclee Print by Raid71

It's a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger Artwork Giclee Limited Edition Print on Fine Art Paper by Pop Culture Graffiti Artist Raid71. Peanuts Sally & Charlie Brown Halloween Costumed Winnie the Pooh Bear & Flowers. 5" x 5" Giclee Signed, Numbered. It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger Artwork Giclee Print by Raid71 – Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Raid71 once again masterfully blends nostalgia with horror in It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger, a limited edition giclee print that transforms an iconic childhood cartoon into a surreal, darkly humorous reimagining. Released as a signed and numbered edition, this 5x5-inch fine art print presents a clever juxtaposition of innocence and fear, reinterpreting beloved Peanuts characters with a sinister twist that merges pop culture and Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The artwork features a seemingly harmless scene at first glance, depicting a character standing next to the familiar doghouse of Snoopy. However, the scene takes a darker turn as Charlie Brown is no longer himself, but rather has been transformed into the infamous Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street. His signature fedora, burned face, and deadly clawed glove replace his usual gentle expression, turning him into an unsettling presence. Snoopy, however, remains unbothered, lounging atop the doghouse as if unaware of the nightmarish figure standing beside him. The composition is simple yet powerful, relying on strong, clean linework, a minimal color palette, and the instantly recognizable Peanuts aesthetic to lull the viewer into a false sense of comfort before revealing the disturbing reality. This contrast between the familiar and the horrifying is what makes the piece so striking, turning childhood nostalgia into an eerie reflection of fear and humor. The Artistic Duality of Horror and Nostalgia Raid71 has built a reputation for manipulating pop culture imagery to create new narratives that challenge perceptions and expectations. It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger continues this trend by taking a lighthearted cartoon and injecting it with the essence of classic horror cinema. The combination of Peanuts with slasher movie villains taps into a collective cultural memory, forcing viewers to reconcile two drastically different worlds. The transformation of Charlie Brown into Freddy Krueger is particularly effective because of the stark contrast between the two characters. Charlie Brown is often seen as a symbol of childhood struggles, representing innocence, failure, and perseverance. Freddy Krueger, on the other hand, is a terrifying figure who haunts dreams and embodies relentless fear. By merging these two figures, Raid71 creates a unique piece that forces viewers to question the nature of fear, storytelling, and cultural nostalgia. The Precision of Giclee Printing in Contemporary Urban Art The choice of giclee printing ensures that It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger maintains the sharpness and vibrancy necessary for a piece that thrives on clean lines and striking contrasts. Giclee prints are widely used in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork due to their ability to capture the fine details of digital and hand-drawn work while maintaining museum-quality archival standards. The small 5x5-inch format enhances the sense of intimacy, making it feel like a collectible piece that brings a twisted version of childhood into any collection. Raid71’s precise use of color, particularly the warm beige background and the bold red of the doghouse, allows the artwork to maintain its connection to traditional Peanuts visuals while still delivering a fresh, unsettling experience. The limited edition nature of the print adds to its desirability, making it a must-have for collectors who appreciate the fusion of horror, nostalgia, and pop culture deconstruction. The Impact of Horror Mashups in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Artists who work within the realm of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork frequently draw upon the intersection of nostalgia and contemporary themes, using well-known imagery to create new, often subversive narratives. It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger is a perfect example of how beloved cultural icons can be reinterpreted in ways that challenge perceptions, provoke thought, and entertain simultaneously. By combining childhood innocence with horror, Raid71 taps into the universal experience of growing up—where fears, both real and imagined, begin to take hold. The fusion of classic Peanuts with slasher film iconography is not just a clever visual gimmick but a reflection of how pop culture evolves, where characters from different eras and genres blend into new forms of storytelling. Raid71’s ability to seamlessly merge these worlds makes this piece a standout example of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. It’s a Nightmare Charlie- Freddy Krueger is more than just a playful mashup—it is a cultural commentary on the way nostalgia and fear coexist in the collective imagination, proving that even the most innocent characters can take on new, chilling forms in the hands of the right artist.

Beyond the Criminals Red Max Knickerbocker's, Lincoln, NE 8-15-1996 -ISMFEST '96 Night 1 Beyond the Criminals Red Max Silkscreen Print by Frank Kozik -ISMFEST '96 Night 1 is a hand-pulled silkscreen print by legendary artist Frank Kozik, created for the August 15, 1996, concert featuring Beyond the Criminals and Red Max at Knickerbocker's in Lincoln, Nebraska. Measuring 22.5 x 17.5 inches, this limited-edition print was produced in a numbered edition of 600 and is signed by the artist. Known for his bold, irreverent style, Kozik’s work is a defining example of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, blending underground music culture with the aesthetics of punk rock and lowbrow art. This gig poster encapsulates Kozik’s signature visual language—an electrifying color palette, exaggerated cartoon imagery, and an unapologetic embrace of counterculture aesthetics. The design features a grinning, intoxicated blue dog with drool dripping from its mouth, attached to a beer tap pouring directly into its tongue. The background bursts with vibrant red and yellow rays, enhancing the chaotic energy of the piece. The typography is oversized and confrontational, drawing inspiration from punk zines and DIY screen printing traditions. Every element in this artwork exudes raw energy, aligning perfectly with the rebellious nature of the underground music scene it represents. Frank Kozik and His Influence on Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork Frank Kozik is one of the most influential figures in modern poster art, widely credited with revitalizing the concert poster scene during the late 1980s and 1990s. Originally from Spain and later based in the United States, he began his artistic career creating DIY flyers for punk and alternative bands before evolving into a leading name in silkscreen printmaking. His work often draws from underground comics, psychedelic rock posters, and vintage advertising, merging them with an unfiltered punk ethos. This print exemplifies Kozik’s ability to capture the spirit of a moment in time—ISMFEST '96 was not just another concert, but an event that embodied the underground music culture of the era. The design’s mix of absurdity, humor, and confrontational visuals reflects Kozik’s knack for transforming promotional materials into collectible works of art. His contributions to Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork extend far beyond the music scene, influencing everything from contemporary poster design to vinyl toy culture. The Art of Silkscreen Printing in Music Poster Culture Silkscreen printing has played a crucial role in the history of concert posters, particularly within the punk and alternative rock movements. Unlike mass-produced digital prints, silkscreen posters are hand-pulled, meaning each piece carries unique imperfections and variations that add to its authenticity. This technique allows for intense, saturated colors and bold contrasts, which are essential in creating visually striking designs that stand out in a crowded promotional landscape. The printing process involves layering different colors one at a time, requiring precise alignment and expert craftsmanship. In this particular piece, the interplay of neon-like hues and bold black outlines demonstrates Kozik’s mastery of the medium. The thick ink application gives the print a tactile quality, reinforcing the handcrafted nature of the work. These qualities make silkscreen concert posters highly collectible, as they represent not only a historical moment in music but also an artistic achievement in printmaking. Collectibility and Cultural Impact of -ISMFEST '96 Night 1 As a signed and numbered limited-edition print, -ISMFEST '96 Night 1 is a sought-after piece for collectors of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork. Kozik’s posters are revered not only for their visual impact but also for their role in shaping the aesthetics of underground music culture. His work has been featured in galleries and museums worldwide, solidifying its place as an important part of contemporary art history. Concert posters like this one serve as artifacts of a bygone era, where hand-printed promotional materials were essential to the identity of a band or event. Unlike today’s digital flyers and social media advertisements, these posters were tangible, often plastered on city walls or collected by fans as mementos. The humor, rebellion, and rawness embedded in this piece ensure that it remains relevant decades later, resonating with those who appreciate both the artistic craft and the cultural movement it represents. Frank Kozik’s influence extends beyond posters, impacting the worlds of graffiti, pop art, and designer toys. His ability to blur the lines between commercial art and fine art has made his work enduringly popular among both street artists and contemporary art collectors. -ISMFEST '96 Night 1 is a prime example of his legacy—a work that continues to inspire, provoke, and celebrate the unapologetic spirit of underground creativity.

Diamond FAILEdoodle- Black/Black 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen, Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter Print on Archival Lenox Paper by Faile Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Diamond FAILEdoodle: Black/Black 19 x 25 Inches Each variant an edition of 25 Acrylic, Spraypaint, Silkscreen Ink and Glitter on Archival Lenox 100 Signed, Stamped and Embossed A new breed of Faile Dog was born last year. Using the words of the artists themselves, the artwork “gives a person the sense that it is there just for them. That they've stumbled across this great little gem amidst the chaos of daily life that can really speak to them. We try to build in a certain ambiguity that leaves the door open for the viewer to find themselves within the story.” This relational character of the FAILE’s art corresponds and becomes amplified by their consistent travel and lack of a permanent studio until the mid-2000s. This resulted in the duo’s embracement and utilization of urban streets and, naturally, gave the produced work a “site-specific” character since public art inevitably adjusts itself to the location of the display.

There is a violent history of police dogs being used to attack civil rights protesters, which contrasts intensely with the blissful perspective of white dog owners who pamper their dogs and hire dog walkers. Some of us never have to think about how the police abuse their power more frequently in non-white and lower-income communities. This “Sadistic Dog Walker” image encourages us to be aware of the “two Americas.” – Shepard

Forbidden Forever HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Faile Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2007 Signed & Numbered Acrylic HPM Embellished Limited Edition of 15 Artwork Size 17.9x24 Faile is a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil (born 1975) and Patrick Miller (born 1976). Initially founded in 1999, the duo is known for their wide-ranging multimedia practice, recognized for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage. Working in the vein of popular culture and frequently referencing mass consumerism, Faile's work encompasses a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, silkscreening, stencils, stickers, sculpture, and more. Their art has been exhibited in a wide array of contexts, from city walls and lamp posts to galleries and museums around the world, such as Perry Rubenstein Gallery, New York; Dallas Contemporary, Dallas; and Palais de Tokyo, Paris. The name "Faile" is an anagram of "A life", which signifies the duo's shared philosophy towards their work. They are known to embrace the dichotomies of art and popular culture, acknowledging the fluidity and ubiquity of imagery in the modern world. HPM, or Hand-Painted Multiples, is a term used to describe a specific method of silkscreen printing. In HPM silkscreen printing, each piece of an edition is individually embellished or altered by the artist, thereby making each print within the edition unique. This technique can often be seen in street art and other forms of contemporary art. Silkscreen printing, also known as screen printing, is a process that involves pushing ink through a stenciled mesh screen to create a printed design. It's a popular technique used in a variety of different industries, such as fine art, fashion, and marketing, due to its versatility in adapting to different materials and surfaces. Artists like Faile often utilize HPM silkscreen printing to create limited editions of their work. This method allows them to produce a series of pieces that maintain a consistent theme or image, but with individual variations that make each piece unique. This can range from changes in color, to additional elements, to hand-finishing details. This results in each print being not just a copy, but a unique work of art.

Pet Graffiti Street Pop Art

Pets are a popular subject in street pop art and graffiti. From cute and cuddly dogs and cats to fierce and wild animals like tigers and lions, pets can be used to create unique and eye-catching street art. One popular style of pet-themed street pop art is the use of stencils. Stencils can be used to create highly detailed images of pets with intricate designs and shading. They can also be used to create repeat patterns of a particular pet, creating a bold and striking visual effect. Another popular style is the use of bright colors and bold lines to create stylized images of pets. These images often have a cartoon-like quality and are designed to be playful and fun. Pets can also be used to convey messages and ideas in street pop art. For example, a street artist might create an image of a sad and lonely dog to raise awareness about animal cruelty or a powerful image of a wolf to symbolize strength and independence. Pets are a versatile and popular subject in graffiti street pop art, and they can be used to create a wide range of visually stunning and emotionally impactful works of art.
