  • Sale -30% Untitled From Crossroads Giclee Print by Alice Pasquini

Alice Pasquini Untitled From Crossroads Giclee Print by Alice Pasquini

Untitled From Crossroads Giclee Print by Alice Pasquini Artwork Limited Edition Print on 300gsm Baryta Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2019 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 13x17.83 The Artistic Essence of "Untitled From Crossroads" Alice Pasquini's "Untitled From Crossroads" is a giclée print that captures the essence of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork. As an acclaimed artist, Pasquini brings forward a piece that exemplifies her distinctive approach to art that has been honing the edges of street art and muralism. This limited edition print, with its vibrant figures and abstract forms, is a testament to her ability to communicate compelling narratives through her art. The artwork, a limited edition giclée print on 300gsm Baryta fine art paper, stands out for its textured appearance and depth of color, hallmarks of high-quality prints. The dimensions of the piece, 13x17.83 inches, offer a generous canvas for Pasquini to convey her vision. A limited run of 100 signed and numbered prints indicates this piece's exclusivity and collectible nature. The portrait centers on a female figure, a recurring subject in Pasquini's work, exuding a sense of contemplation and depth. Her gaze is piercing and tender, inviting viewers to ponder the thoughts behind those eyes. Visual Language and Symbolism Pasquini's use of vibrant and contrasting colors against the stark backdrop of the Baryta paper creates a captivating visual dichotomy. The fluidity and apparent spontaneity of the brushstrokes juxtapose with the deliberate intensity of the subject's eyes, creating a powerful focal point. This "Crossroads" collection piece symbolizes the intersection of lives and stories within the urban landscape, a crossroads of human experience. The artist's choice of a graffiti pop style infuses the work with an urban grittiness that is both raw and beautiful. Technical Proficiency and Medium The technique of producing a giclée print of this caliber is a modern marvel, bridging the gap between traditional printmaking and digital technology. The term "giclée," derived from the French verb "gicler," meaning "to spray," refers to the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using inkjet printing. This method reproduces colors and textures with remarkable fidelity to the original artwork. It's a fitting medium for street pop art, where the accessibility of art is a crucial value, enabling the work to reach a wider audience without sacrificing quality. Cultural Impact and Placement in Modern Art "Untitled From Crossroads" is not merely a decorative piece; it is a cultural artifact that encapsulates the mood and ethos of contemporary society. The work's release in 2019 places it within a period of art where boundaries are increasingly blurred between high art and street art and where the voice of the street is as powerful and significant as that of the gallery. Alice Pasquini's contribution to this movement is profound, as she continually challenges and expands the narrative of what street pop art can be. Collectibility and Value The value of a limited edition print like "Untitled From Crossroads" goes beyond its aesthetic appeal. For collectors, the allure lies in the scarcity and the artist's personal touch—each print is signed and numbered, making it unique. Collecting works such as this is not just an investment in art; it is an investment in the legacy of street pop art and graffiti artwork. It represents a chance to own a piece of the movement, a snapshot of the artist's journey, and a fragment of cultural history. Alice Pasquini's "Untitled From Crossroads" giclée print profoundly expresses street pop art and graffiti artwork. Through her signature use of color, expressive portraiture, and the innovative giclée printing technique, Pasquini continues to forge a deep connection with her audience. The limited edition nature of this print, coupled with its evocative portrayal of urban life, underscores the artist's stature as a significant figure in the landscape of contemporary art.

  • Sale -24% Unsolved Mystery 20 Archival Print by Dave Pollot

Dave Pollot Unsolved Mystery 20 Archival Print by Dave Pollot

Unsolved Mystery 20 Archival Print by Dave Pollot Limited Edition on PH Neutral 17mil Canvas Pop Graffiti Street Art Artist Modern Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 16x20 Archival Pigment Fine Art on Canvas of the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine Van in a Swamp Dave Pollot's "Unsolved Mystery 20": A Nostalgic Reimagining in Street Pop Art Dave Pollot's "Unsolved Mystery 20" is a striking archival print that bridges the familiarity of childhood nostalgia with the aesthetic sensibilities of Pop Graffiti and Street Art. The piece is part of a limited edition series, numbered and signed by Pollot himself, and is limited to a collection of 100. At 16x20 inches, this artwork captures a vivid reimagining of the iconic Scooby Doo Mystery Machine Van, now situated in a desolate swamp, rendered on PH-neutral 17mil canvas that promises durability and color retention. Pollot, an American artist renowned for his adept repurposing of thrift art, infuses new life into forgotten landscapes by introducing modern pop culture elements. "Unsolved Mystery 20" is emblematic of Pollot's approach, as he deftly places a symbol of adventure and mystery from a beloved cartoon into a classical, almost pastoral, painting, thereby creating a dialogue between the old and the new, the playful and the serene. Technique and Innovation in Canvas Print Art The archival pigment used in the fine art on canvas provides a textural depth and color richness, bringing the compositional elements to life. Pollot's technique ensures that each print is a visual experience and an archival piece that can withstand the test of time. Using PH-neutral canvas in creating "Unsolved Mystery 20" is a testament to Pollot's commitment to quality and longevity, ensuring that the art remains free from the yellowing that can occur with acidic materials. The image itself serves as a powerful visual narrative. The Mystery Machine, a van that once symbolized the journey towards uncovering truths, now lies abandoned in a swamp, suggesting a tale untold or a case left unsolved. This evokes a sense of nostalgia tinged with melancholy, inviting viewers to ponder the stories behind the image. It's a stark reflection on the passage of time and the shifting nature of stories and symbols in our culture. The Cultural Impact of Dave Pollot's Work Dave Pollot's contributions to modern Street Pop Art and the broader art community have been marked by his playful yet provocative reinventions of traditional art. By incorporating elements from pop culture into idyllic scenes from discarded paintings, Pollot challenges the viewer's perceptions and expectations. In "Unsolved Mystery 20", the Mystery Machine's unexpected appearance in a classic landscape disrupts the original work's serenity, creating a humorous and thought-provoking contrast. Pollot's work is particularly resonant because it offers more than just aesthetic pleasure; it also provides commentary on the transience of pop culture and its enduring influence on our collective consciousness. By placing a modern icon within a forgotten backdrop, he captures the essence of timelessness within the ever-changing tides of cultural relevance. As an artist, Pollot continues to intrigue and inspire with his imaginative interpretations of both the banal and the iconic. His distinctive style has carved out a unique space in art where the line between traditional and contemporary art forms is celebrated and blurred. "Unsolved Mystery 20", with its poignant portrayal of an abandoned cultural icon, encapsulates this blend perfectly, ensuring Pollot's place as a significant figure in the narrative of contemporary art.

"Last June, a friend called me saying that Robert Downey Jr. and the production team wanted to use one of my paintings, When It Rains It Pours, in the next Iron Man film. So I created it to their size specification of 5ft wide and 13ft tall and the piece was put into Iron Man Tony Starks' home in the film. Then they asked me if I’d be interested in doing more work for the Mandarin’s lair a few months later when they were shooting in Miami. I of course said yes, and ended up doing 13 more massive paintings and some set design for them along with the Iron Man mask you see here. They asked me to create a design for the wrap of the film last year. They made shirts and postcards for the set department with that image. So while this doesn't appear in the film it was definitely a big part of the project." - BASK

Inspired by San Diego surf culture and Dia De Los Muertos imagery, we decided on an ornate octopus and surfboard as fitting iconography for the show as well as a nice tribute to our hometown. This print is a bit of a departure for us as it’s just a one-color print, but what makes it a bit more unique is the gold leaf stock on which it’s printed. QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA- Ryan Callanan Hand-Pulled 1-Color on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 9.75x9.75 Silkscreen Print RYCA's QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print: A Confluence of Technology and Street Pop Art The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print by RYCA, also known as Ryan Callanan, is a striking example of how contemporary artists blend digital motifs with traditional printmaking techniques. RYCA's decision to capture the essence of a QR code, an emblem of the digital age, and transform it into a piece of street pop art & graffiti artwork is innovative and reflective of our times. The smiley face hidden within the code's design adds a layer of playfulness and nostalgia, reminding us of the early days of digital communication while commenting on technology's pervasive nature in modern life. This artwork, a 2022 limited edition of 50, has been created through the labor-intensive process of hand-pulled silkscreen printing. Each print, signed and numbered by the artist, measures 9.75x9.75 inches and is printed on fine art paper. The choice to work in a monochromatic palette emphasizes the starkness and immediacy of the QR code, contrasting the often colorful and chaotic imagery found in street art. However, this very simplicity allows the piece to stand out, offering a visual pause in the frenetic visual language of urban environments. RYCA's Artistic Journey and the Intersection with Street Art RYCA's journey as an artist has been marked by his ability to infuse familiar cultural icons with new meaning. By taking a universally recognizable symbol such as the QR code and embedding the iconic smiley face within it, he bridges the gap between art and the audience, making his work both accessible and engaging. This piece is a testament to RYCA's skill in using pop art sensibilities to comment on the intersection of technology and human emotion, a prevalent theme in the digital age. The limited run of this print makes it a coveted item for collectors and reinforces the transient nature of street art, where the rarity and location of a piece can significantly enhance its value and impact. RYCA's work is a reminder of the transient nature of graffiti artwork, often here today and gone tomorrow, mirroring the fleeting nature of digital information in the internet age. The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is more than a visual statement; it is a cultural artifact that encapsulates the zeitgeist of the 21st century. QR codes have become ubiquitous in our lives, a technical solution to a cultural desire for quick, seamless access to information. By incorporating this symbol into his art, RYCA comments on its pervasive nature and challenges the viewer to consider the relationship between the digital and physical worlds. With its minimalist aesthetic and conceptual depth, this print reflects a broader trend in street pop art & graffiti artwork, where artists are increasingly engaging with digital culture. RYCA's work is at the forefront of this movement, blending street art's immediacy with the connectivity of digital technology. RYCA's QR Code Smiley and Its Place in Modern Art As street pop art & graffiti artwork continue to evolve, artists like RYCA are leading the charge, breaking down barriers between art forms and exploring new mediums. The QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is a powerful example of this evolution, where a technology tool is repurposed into a medium for artistic expression. The print represents RYCA's creative vision and a commentary on the increasingly blurred lines between the virtual and the real. In a world where digital interactions often replace physical ones, RYCA's print serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of tangible art in a digital age. It stands as a bridge between two seemingly disparate worlds, inviting the viewer to reflect on the role of art in a society dominated by screens and codes. RYCA's QR Code Smiley Silkscreen Print is a defining piece within the genre of street pop art & graffiti artwork, offering a unique perspective on the intersection of art, technology, and culture. Its existence as a limited edition print further underscores the value placed on originality and authenticity in art. Through this work, RYCA invites us to ponder the pervasive nature of digital symbols in our lives and how they can be reimagined through the lens of art.

This limited edition vinyl artwork celebrates Murdoc Niccals, the fictitious bassist and self-proclaimed leader of the internationally acclaimed virtual band Gorillaz. A new addition to the Gorillaz collectibles, this figure is the first Murdoc art toy released in over a decade. The 13-inch vinyl reflects Murdoc's iconic style, complete with his signature bass guitar, lit cigarette, and notoriously long nails, encapsulating his rebellious and wild persona. Murdoc's Iconic Features Captured in Vinyl The figure's meticulous design highlights Murdoc's distinctive green skin tone and punk-rock aesthetic. Each accessory, from the nails long enough to scratch a chalkboard to the giant bass, contributes to the narrative of Murdoc's character — an embodiment of the band's edgy and unconventional style. So we painted a giant radio on it. Since then I wanted to pay a long over-due homage to this building in Bushwick, Brooklyn that no longer exists. The original mural was just flat black with metallic silver spray paint, so when I decided to finally make a print I felt like it had to have that same feel. So the only way I know how to get that really thick metallic look is to silkscreen print it with good ol' plastisol on tar paper." - Ad Deville of Skewville

I spent most of my time continuing a spiritual journey and developing creatively in my studio. As time seemingly slowed down, I started noticing more than usual the value in time, and how not to waste it. In much reflection during this time, I found inspiration in colors of an era when I was very young, reminiscent of better times." -Dr. Dax

Unique Opportunities in Moments of My Weakness

Market Dynamics of Sales and Discounts in Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork

The market for Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork has experienced significant growth, with an increasing demand for various art forms, including graffiti pop art prints, originals, art toys, skateboards, and art spray paint cans. This surge in popularity has led to a dynamic marketplace where sales and discounts play a crucial role in making these art forms accessible to a broader audience. The availability of sales and discounts on these items benefits collectors and enthusiasts and helps promote the artists and their work.

Trends in Sales of Graffiti Pop Art Prints and Originals

Graffiti pop art prints and originals have become highly sought-after items in the art market. Prints offer an affordable entry point for new collectors, allowing them to own a piece of their favorite artist’s work without the higher price tag of an original. Discounts on these prints, especially during special events or exhibitions, further enhance their accessibility. On the other hand, original works are valued for their uniqueness and their direct connection to the artist. Sales periods often see a spike in purchasing original works as collectors seize the opportunity to acquire unique pieces at reduced prices.

Popularity and Sales of Art Toys, Skateboards, and Art Spray Paint Cans

Art toys, skateboards, and spray paint cans represent a fusion of street art culture with lifestyle and functional objects. Art toys, often created in collaboration with renowned street artists, have emerged as collectible items, blending artistic expression with toy design. Adorned with street art, the skateboards have transcended their functional use to become decorative art pieces. Similarly, art spray paint cans, often featuring artist-specific designs, have become collectibles in their own right. Sales and discounts on these items, particularly during holidays or special releases, attract buyers looking to own a piece of street culture.

Impact of Sales and Discounts on the Street Pop Art and Graffiti Art Market

Sales and discounts on Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork have a multifaceted impact. For artists, they provide an opportunity to reach a wider audience, potentially increasing their fan base and recognition. For buyers, these sales make purchasing and collecting art more feasible, thereby supporting the artists and the wider street art community. Additionally, discounts on art supplies like spray paint cans can encourage aspiring artists to experiment and create, fostering new talent in the street art scene.

Future of Sales and Discounts in Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork

As the market for Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork continues to evolve, the role of sales and discounts will likely adapt as well. The increasing digitization of the art market, including online galleries and virtual exhibitions, may offer new platforms for sales and promotional activities. These developments could further democratize street and pop art access, allowing more people to engage with and support this vibrant art form. The future of sales and discounts in this sector appears promising, with potential benefits for artists, collectors, and the art community.
