Travis Scott, born Jacques Berman Webster II on April 30, 1992, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is well-known for his energetic and psychedelic music, as well as his elaborate live performances. Travis Scott often uses the nickname "Cactus Jack," which is also the name of his record label, Cactus Jack Records. Travis Scott first gained major recognition with the release of his mixtape "Owl Pharaoh" in 2013, followed by "Days Before Rodeo" in 2014. His debut studio album, "Rodeo," was released in 2015 and featured hit singles such as "Antidote" and "3500." He continued to find success with his sophomore album, "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight," which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2016. In 2018, Travis Scott released his critically acclaimed and commercially successful third studio album, "Astroworld." The album, inspired by a now-defunct amusement park in Houston, Texas, showcased his unique style and creativity, with hit songs like "Sicko Mode," "Stargazing," and "Yosemite." "Astroworld" went on to win the Best Rap Album award at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards and earned multiple Grammy nominations. Apart from his solo career, Travis Scott has also collaborated with numerous high-profile artists, such as Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Young Thug. He is known for his relationship with reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner, with whom he shares a daughter, Stormi Webster. Outside of music, Travis Scott has ventured into fashion, partnering with major brands like Nike and launching his own line of merchandise. He has also participated in several philanthropic efforts, including founding the Cactus Jack Foundation, which aims to empower and enrich the lives of young people through education and economic opportunities.
