  • What Drones? HPM Spray Paint Wood Stencil by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

Denial- Daniel Bombardier What Drones? HPM Spray Paint Wood Stencil by Denial- Daniel Bombardier

What Drones? Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Spray Paint, Acrylic, Stencil, Mixed Media On Cradled Wood Panel by Denial Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2015 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of HPM Stencil 5 Artwork Size 48x30 Canadian artist Denial and Australian-born Ben Frost have joined forces in a bold exhibition of new work that explores the boundaries of appropriation, in confronting re-imaginings of our current dystopian society. Self-confessed ‘visual thieves’, both artists have had a long history of stealing and subverting the cultural icons that the advertising and consumerist world has thrust upon us, to create new and pertinent interpretations that are as confronting as they are humorous. Denial and Frost formed an instant friendship since their meeting in Canada in 2011 and have been creating engaging street and gallery work ever since. "Company of Thieves" sees their collaboration push further, with large and small-scale works that reference Pop Art, Graffiti, and the corporate world they rebel against. Denial’s art is strongly political and social since the artist takes specific positions against issues, such as capitalism, consumer culture, and advertisements. More importantly, the artist is aware of his choices and motivations: “I like to think of myself as activist pop art. How I relate with cartoons and graphics is a lot easier than I do with photo-realistic stuff" Another aspect of Denial's work is humor. His work is satirical, which, by definition, means that it uses humor as a confronting mechanism.

  • Vampire USA Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Ben Frost Vampire USA Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Vampire USA Company of Thieves Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic and Mixed Media On Wood Panel by Ben Frost Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2013 Signed Original Spray Paint & Acrylic Wood Cradled Ready To Hang Painting Artwork Size 24x32 Vampire USA by Ben Frost: A Bold Intersection of Culture and Critique Ben Frost's "Vampire USA" from the "Company of Thieves" series is a vivid example of modern pop art's seamless fusion with street sensibilities. The striking spray paint, acrylic, and mixed media composition on a wood panel embody the rebellious spirit that fuels much of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork. Created in 2013, this signed original artwork measures 24x32 inches and is cradled and ready to hang, offering a stark commentary on American culture through street art aesthetics. Australian artist Ben Frost is known for his visually arresting work that often repurposes the iconography of consumerism and popular culture to create new, challenging narratives. "Vampire USA" exemplifies Frost's approach, utilizing familiar symbols and subverting them to critique American society. The vampire motif layered over the stars and stripes of the American flag creates an immediate and unsettling juxtaposition. The vampire, traditionally a symbol of parasitism and predation, becomes an allegory for the darker aspects of the American dream, suggesting a nation that feeds off others or perhaps even itself. The intensity of the artwork is heightened by Frost's choice of medium and technique. The raw, visceral quality of spray paint, often associated with the underground graffiti scene, clashes with the precision of acrylics to create an anarchic and meticulous piece. This duality reflects the complex nature of American culture, where order and chaos often coexist. Decoding the Symbolism in "Vampire USA" In "Vampire USA," the flag is not just a backdrop but an integral part of the narrative. The stars and stripes become the vampire's skin, the fabric of its being, suggesting that the entity and the nation are inseparable. The use of red, white, and blue – colors that evoke feelings of patriotism – is transformed into a visual scream that challenges the viewer to reassess their understanding of national identity and values. The choice to paint on wood panels also contributes to the artwork's impact. The organic texture of wood grounds the piece in a tactile reality, in contrast to graffiti's ethereal and often ephemeral nature. It is a statement of permanence, an assertion that the questions and issues raised by the painting will not simply vanish with the morning light. "Vampire USA" is a powerful piece of street pop art that embodies the genre's ability to reflect and critique society. Ben Frost's work captures contemporary culture's zeitgeist, using the streets' language to engage with deeper themes of identity, consumption, and the American psyche. As the artwork hangs poised for display, it serves as a bold reminder of art's potential to confront, unsettle, and inspire dialogue.

  • Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Gold 1 Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Silver 1

Saber Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber

Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Original Permanent Marker Art Drawing on Glossy US Flag Sticker by Graffiti Artist Modern Street Artwork. 2020 Signed US Flag Made in USA America Original Slap Up Graffiti Art Tag 4x4 Marker Tagged on Sticker. Unfurling the American Narrative Through Graffiti: The Made in USA Flag Sticker Art The potent symbol of the American flag has been a recurring motif in various forms of art, not least within the vibrant world of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork. Within this context, the 'Made in USA' flag slap-up label sticker stands out as a canvas for expression, especially in the hands of graffiti artists. Layered with original tag art, these stickers serve as miniature yet powerful vehicles for cultural and political commentary, recontextualizing a national symbol within the urban landscape. Saber's Interpretation of the American Iconography Renowned graffiti artist Saber Ryan Weston Shook has significantly contributed to this expression. His original permanent marker art drawings on glossy US flag stickers are more than just aesthetic creations; they are a form of modern street artwork that captures the essence of American identity and the spirit of its people. His work, created in 2020 and signed, embodies a raw and compelling narrative, each tag measuring 4x4 inches – a small but striking testament to the artist's skill and vision. Saber's use of the American flag as a backdrop is particularly resonant, given the flag's strong associations with patriotism, freedom, and national identity. By superimposing his tags over this symbol, Saber disrupts the viewer's usual perception, challenging them to reconsider the meaning of 'Made in USA' in the context of street art. His bold and unapologetic strokes introduce a dialogue about ownership, creativity, and the very definition of what it means to be American-made. The Evolution of Tagging and Its Cultural Relevance Tagging has evolved from straightforward signatures to complex works of art that communicate the artist's identity and status within the graffiti community. It is a practice steeped in the history of street art, one that demands attention and commands space. Regarding the 'Made in USA' flag slap-up label stickers by Saber, the tags are not just marks of territory but statements of existence. The choice of gold and silver markers adds a layer of irony, contrasting precious metals' perceived value with graffiti art's often misunderstood value. The cultural relevance of such art is immense. It taps into ongoing conversations about national pride and consumerism, questioning the authenticity of the 'Made in USA' label in an era of globalization. Moreover, it embodies the ethos of Street Pop Art, a genre that borrows from popular culture to create art that is both accessible and deeply meaningful. In Saber's hands, the flag sticker transforms into a manifesto, a declaration that art made on the streets by the hands of the many is as quintessentially American as the flag itself. The 'Made in USA' flag slap-up label stickers adorned with Saber's tags represent a microcosm of the larger narrative that Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork continually narrate. Through such pieces, artists like Saber assert their place within the American saga, crafting a version of the flag that is as diverse, complex, and vibrant as the nation it represents. These stickers are not just tags; they are emblems of a culture that celebrates the freedom of expression and the indelible marks of individuality.

  • Triple Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber

Saber Triple Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber

Triple Made in USA Flag Slap-Up Label Sticker Original Tag Art by Saber Original Permanent Marker Art Drawing on Glossy US Flag Sticker by Graffiti Artist Modern Street Artwork. 2020 Signed 3x Uncut US Flag Made in USA America Original Slap Up Graffiti Art Tag 12x4 Marker Tagged on Sticker. The Fusion of Patriotism and Rebellion: Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The artwork under scrutiny exemplifies a vibrant confluence of street art ethos and patriotic expression. At first glance, the piece presents itself as a defiant act of embellishment on a symbol of national pride, the American flag, with a repetitive assertion of domestic production - "Made in the USA." Yet, upon closer inspection, it reveals a layered dialogue between the artist's intent and the viewer's interpretation, characteristic of street pop art and graffiti artwork. Saber, the artist behind this creation, is a recognized figure within the street art community. His contributions have been instrumental in elevating graffiti as a legitimate form of contemporary art. Born in the United States, Saber's works often imbue a sense of national identity while simultaneously challenging the status quo. Through his art, he manifests a unique blend of patriotism and critique, a duality especially palpable in this piece. Symbolism and Significance in Saber's Artwork The triptych form of the uncut sticker sheet intensifies the impact of the message "Made in USA," iterated thrice for emphasis. Each flag is a canvas for Saber's signature tagged style, where the fluidity and boldness of his lines are pronounced against the structured backdrop of the stars and stripes. The choice of a glossy US flag sticker as a medium is deliberate, enhancing the interplay of textures and finishes, a hallmark of street pop art. Saber's use of permanent markers to draw over the stickers indicates the permanence of the sentiments expressed through the artwork. The stark black scribbles, chaotic and vigorous, convey a sense of urgency and raw emotion that often accompanies national identity and production discussions. The act of tagging over a national symbol can be seen as a form of social and political commentary, a conversation starter on topics ranging from patriotism to consumerism in American society. Contextualizing Saber's Work in Modern Street Art In the landscape of modern street art, Saber's work stands out for its fearless confrontation with political themes and its nuanced examination of American identity. His 2020 series of tagged US flag stickers holds a mirror to the complexities of the "American Dream" and the realities of the country's manufacturing ethos. By overlaying graffiti art onto an emblem of national pride, Saber challenges viewers to reconsider their perceptions of the flag and graffiti as an art form. The graffiti artist's employment of slap-up labels, a street art staple, underscores the transient nature of the medium. Traditionally, slap-ups are quickly affixed to surfaces in public spaces, intended for mass consumption, and often subject to removal or decay. In contrast, Saber's work immortalizes this ephemeral technique, transforming the slap-up into a lasting artifact of cultural expression. The fusion of graffiti with the iconic flag imagery in this artwork invites discourse on the dichotomy between established norms and subversive acts. It is a testament to the evolving narrative of street pop art, where the boundaries between the sanctioned and the insurgent are blurred. Saber's art does not just occupy physical space; it occupies the mental space of contemplation, urging an engagement with its underlying messages. Saber's triple "Made in USA" flag stickers stand as a poignant example of how street pop art and graffiti can encapsulate complex socio-political themes within a singular visual experience. It is a striking reminder of the power inherent in street art to communicate, challenge, and engage on levels that transcend the visual, firmly establishing Saber's position within the pantheon of contemporary street artists.

Platinum Plus Limited Edition 9-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Denial Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2020 Signed Limited Edition of 80 Artwork Size 24x18 In 2000 he adopted the moniker ‘DENIAL’ as a means of poking fun at advertising, politics, and media messages that contemporary society is often ‘in denial’ about. Denial has evolved as one the most prominent figures of contemporary pop artists, who nonetheless, continue to stay relevant and is interested in generating thought-provoking commentary. He has a long history of exploring the boundaries of appropriation, which he uses as a means of subverting the value of cultural products, imprinted in the collective memory of the Western civilization. His work, in other words, is inviting the viewer to re-imagine our dystopian society as a way of confronting it, with humor and irony as the biggest tools of the artist.

PP Printers Prood 2021 Signed & Marked PP Limited Edition 9-Color Screen Print on 10pt Lava Foil Holographic Fine Art Paper Size: 18 x 24 Inches Release March 09, 2021 Denial's "American Daydream-Foil" in the Landscape of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork "American Daydream-Foil" by the artist Denial, also known as Daniel Bombardier, is a thought-provoking piece encapsulating the spirit of street pop art and graffiti artwork. As a Printer's Proof (PP) limited edition, this 9-color hand-pulled silkscreen print is a rare and collectible piece of art, released on March 09, 2021. The use of 10pt lava foil holographic fine art paper gives the artwork a mesmerizing quality, with its reflective surface creating a sense of depth and movement that enhances the visual impact of the piece. The artwork's size, 18 x 24 inches, is substantial and ideal for capturing the intricate details and vibrant colors that Denial employs. Each print in this limited edition is signed and marked PP by the artist, denoting its exclusivity and the artist's direct involvement in the creation and approval process. The holographic effects of the lava foil paper interact with the silkscreen ink, resulting in a dynamic piece that changes with the viewer's perspective and the surrounding light. Denial's work often comments on consumerism, politics, and the media, and "American Daydream-Foil" is no exception. The image of a woman's face, reminiscent of the classic pop art style made famous by artists like Roy Lichtenstein, is overlaid with a dazzling pattern that reveals and conceals her features. This interplay suggests the tension between reality and the manufactured dreams sold to society, a recurring theme in Denial's oeuvre and a poignant critique that resonates deeply in street pop art and graffiti. Reflective Surfaces and Societal Reflections in Denial's Art The reflective surface of "American Daydream-Foil" is a literal and figurative mirror, inviting viewers to reflect on their perceptions and the societal constructs that shape them. Denial’s use of foil is remarkably evocative, as it not only catches the eye but also suggests the allure and superficiality of the American Dream. The way the artwork's appearance changes with light and angle can be seen as a metaphor for the shifting nature of this dream and the elusive pursuit of happiness within modern American culture. The piece's limited release and its Printer's Proof status elevate its value in the art market, making it a sought-after item for collectors of street pop art, graffiti artwork, and modern pop art. The PP mark signifies that this particular edition was used to check the quality before the final run, often kept by the artist for personal reasons or sold to discerning collectors who appreciate the rarity and authenticity of such proofs. Denial's "American Daydream-Foil" is a powerful addition to the narrative of street pop art and graffiti artwork. It bridges the gap between the rebellious origins of street art and the refined techniques of fine art printing, creating a piece that is both a statement and a spectacle. As with much of Denial's work, the piece is imbued with layers of meaning, challenging viewers to look beyond the surface and consider the more profound commentary on the culture surrounding them. In contemporary art, "American Daydream-Foil" stands as a vibrant example of how traditional pop art motifs and modern techniques can come together to create something that reflects and reacts to the society from which it springs.

In essence, Denial's work exemplifies the evolution of street pop art and graffiti artwork into a form that reflects and is critical of the culture it arises from. "American Daydream - Foil" serves as a mirror to society, reflecting the complexities of the American experience through the lens of pop art. It is a bold statement on the nature of dreams and reality, commercialism, and the individual's place within the broader tapestry of society. • Star Spangled Shadows Linen Offset Lithograph Print by Faile

Faile Star Spangled Shadows Linen Offset Lithograph Print by Faile

Star Spangled Shadows Linen Offset Lithograph Print by Faile Print on Linen Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Hand-Pulled Street Pop Artwork Graffiti. 2023 Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph Artwork Print Size 36x22 of the American Flag in Stylized Zig Zag Pattern. Cultural Reflections in Faile's "Star Spangled Shadows" Linen Offset Lithograph "Star Spangled Shadows" is a compelling linen offset lithograph print by the artist collective Faile, known for their distinctive contributions to street pop artwork and graffiti. This 2023 signed limited edition lithograph print measures 36x22 inches and offers a modern interpretation of the American flag, portrayed in a stylized zig-zag pattern. This piece is a testament to Faile's ability to infuse classic symbols with a contemporary street art aesthetic, challenging viewers to reconsider the iconography of nationhood and identity. In this work, the traditional stripes of the American flag are reimagined into a series of dynamic zig-zag patterns, creating a sense of movement and tension. The stars remain in a grid, floating over the stripes, suggesting continuity and change. The decision to utilize linen fine art paper for the print underscores the work's textural qualities and links to the historical use of linen in flag-making, thereby enhancing the conceptual depth of the artwork. The print is a part of Faile's broader exploration of cultural symbols and their interpretations within the visual language of street pop art and graffiti. By deconstructing such a potent emblem of American identity, Faile invites dialogue about the nation's foundations, its present realities, and the shadows cast by its ideals. The zig-zag pattern can be seen as a metaphor for the complex and often tumultuous political and social landscape of the United States, evoking thoughts about the nation's path forward. The intricate linework and careful composition of "Star Spangled Shadows" are characteristics of Faile's refined approach to street art. While many street artists work with the immediacy of spray paint and stencils, Faile's printmaking process involves a meticulous technique for a high level of detail and precision. This meticulousness does not detract from the artwork's accessibility. However, it enhances its ability to communicate with a broad audience, a core tenet of street pop art. As a hand-pulled print, "Star Spangled Shadows" also represents the blend of craftsmanship and mass production inherent in lithography, a process with deep historical roots that is given new life through Faile's contemporary practice. The choice of an offset lithograph technique is particularly poignant, given the medium's association with disseminating information and propaganda. This connection resonates with the artwork's critical engagement with national symbolism. Collectors and enthusiasts of street pop and graffiti artwork will appreciate the "Star Spangled Shadows" print for its aesthetic appeal and cultural commentary. With its bold use of color, graphic sensibility, and layered meanings, Faile's work continues to push the boundaries of street art into new territories. With its reinterpretation of the American flag, this print exemplifies the potential of street pop art to serve as a platform for reexamining and reimagining the symbols that shape our collective consciousness.

English is famous for creating art that highlights the absurdity of modern society, often blending elements of pop culture, advertising, and politics. In this particular piece, the artist critiques consumerism and the advertising industry by combining elements of the American flag with a caricature of Uncle Sam, who is transformed into "Uncle Scam." The term "Uncle Scam" refers to the idea that the advertising industry often manipulates consumers and promotes excessive materialism, which can be detrimental to society as a whole. A giclee print is a high-quality digital printing method that is capable of producing vivid and detailed reproductions of artwork. This process uses specialized inkjet printers and archival-quality inks, which are applied to various substrates, such as canvas or fine art paper, to create a long-lasting and visually appealing print. The result is a reproduction that retains the original artwork's colors and details, making it a popular choice for artists and collectors alike.

  • American Flag Black HPM Watercolor Unique Stencil by Saber

Saber American Flag Black HPM Watercolor Unique Stencil by Saber

American Flag Black HPM Watercolor Unique Stencil by Saber Hand-Painted Multiple on Watercolor Fine Art Paper Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2023 Signed & Numbered Mixed Unique Edition of 40 HPM Hand-Embellished Watercolor Stencil Artwork Size 5x5 Original Mini Painting of the US American Flag with Black Stripes. Deconstructing Symbols in Street Pop Art The 'American Flag Black HPM Watercolor Unique Stencil' by Saber is an evocative piece of modern pop art, reflecting the artist's nuanced approach to symbol deconstruction and cultural commentary. In this signed and numbered unique edition of 40 HPM (Hand-Painted Multiple) watercolor stencil artworks, the conventional image of the US American Flag is reimagined. Measuring 5x5 inches, the original painting presents the flag's iconic stripes in black, a bold departure from their traditional red and white. Saber's Technique and Style Saber's work is characterized by its layered complexity, both in the physical layers of paint and the conceptual layers of meaning. This piece, created on watercolor fine art paper, employs a stencil technique often used in street art to produce sharp, clean images that can be replicated multiple times. However, each piece in the series remains unique, a testament to the artist's hand that guides the process. The choice of watercolor as a medium adds a fluidity and softness to the otherwise stark imagery of the flag, suggesting a sense of ephemerality and change. The black stripes dominate the visual field, standing out against the subtle hues of the watercolor background. This alteration of the flag's color scheme may speak to many social and political interpretations, from mourning and protest to strength and unity. The work becomes a canvas for dialogue, inviting viewers to project their thoughts and emotions onto the flag's transformed image. Reflections on National Identity and Patriotism In street pop art, the flag is a powerful symbol that is loaded with meaning and often employed to express pride, dissent, or a complex combination of both. Saber's rendition of the American flag calls into question national identity and patriotism notions. By altering the flag's traditional colors, the artist prompts a reevaluation of what these symbols represent and how they resonate within the current socio-political climate. The graffiti street artist's decision to work with an emblem as potent as the American flag indicates a willingness to engage with themes that are at once universal and deeply personal. The flag, an icon meant to unite, becomes a site of divergence in Saber's hands, a space where the tensions and contradictions of American life are laid bare. Like much of street pop art, this artwork is not confined to the public walls and alleyways where graffiti is commonly found. It enters the more intimate spaces of galleries and private collections, yet it retains the raw, provocative energy that is the hallmark of street art. Saber, an American artist, navigates this transition with ease, bringing the spirit of the streets into the fine art arena without losing the potency of his message. In this unique series, Saber continues challenging the boundaries of street pop art and graffiti artwork, reaffirming his position as a leading figure. The 'American Flag Black HPM Watercolor Unique Stencil' is a testament to the enduring power of street art to provoke thought and inspire conversation. It is a bold statement in the ongoing discourse about identity, belonging, and the symbols we hold dear.

United States USA & America
The United States, colloquially referred to as America, has been an influential force in the art world, particularly in the realms of pop art, street art, and graffiti art. Over the years, these genres have evolved, serving as powerful tools of expression, protest, and commentary on American culture, values, and society. Pop art emerged in the United States during the mid to late 1950s. Rooted in the post-war consumer culture, it fundamentally challenged the established perceptions of high art by integrating elements from popular and mass culture. America, with its vibrant consumerism, celebrity culture, and burgeoning advertising industry, provided a fertile ground for pop art. Artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein became synonymous with the movement, using imagery from consumer goods, comic strips, and celebrity portraits. Warhol's Campbell Soup Cans or Marilyn Monroe portraits are iconic examples of how pop art encapsulated America's fascination with consumerism and celebrity culture. Meanwhile, street art and graffiti, once considered a form of vandalism, have morphed into significant artistic genres in America. These styles often reflect the socio-political climate of their time, offering unfiltered and raw glimpses into the realities of American society. During the 1970s and 1980s, graffiti became a prominent part of the New York City urban landscape. Artists like Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat started their artistic journeys on subway cars and street walls, eventually gaining international recognition for their distinctive styles. Their works often tackled themes of social inequality, systemic racism, and political power structures, offering a critique of American society from the fringes. Street art and graffiti continue to evolve in the 21st century. With the advent of social media and digital platforms, street artists have found a broader audience and more extensive influence. Artists like Shepard Fairey, famous for his "Obey Giant" campaign and the iconic "Hope" poster during Barack Obama's presidential campaign, use their art to engage with political issues and societal discourses. These works not only beautify urban spaces but also stimulate dialogue and debate, reinforcing the role of art as a potent tool for social commentary and change. The artistic representation of America through pop art, street art, and graffiti is a testament to the country's cultural dynamism and diversity. These art forms provide a kaleidoscopic view of the nation, capturing its zeitgeist across different periods. They reflect the complexity of the American narrative, marked by both its achievements and its struggles. Through the lens of these art forms, America emerges as a vibrant canvas of cultural expression and societal critique, revealing the multi-layered nature of its identity. As these genres continue to evolve, they will undoubtedly continue to shape and be shaped by the rich tapestry of American life.
