This was the first time I added distress to the derrière.The under painting was applied by brush with coarse textures executed by palette knife. Under painting has been a big focal point for me. Angels are a reoccurring motif for me and most of my pictures draw from a bitter-sweet theme. So the image of a fallen angel is a powerfully symbolic way to portray this.
