MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra Let Love In HPM Collage Print by MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra
Let Love In HPM Unique Collage Print by MCXT- Monica Canilao x Xara Thustra 8-Color Screen Print on Recycled Upcycled Paper & Fabric Textile Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2023 Signed & Numbered Screen Print, Collage, Gouache, Cloth & Thread HPM Embellished Limited Edition of 30 Artwork Size 9.5x25 on Recycled Upcycled Paper, Mixed Media & Fabric Textile. The Essence of Mixed Media in Street Pop Art Monica Canilao and Xara Thustra, known for their vibrant contributions to street art and pop culture visuals, have embraced mixed media's eclecticism to its fullest. The artwork is a culmination of various recycled papers, thread, trim, fabric, pink vinyl, acrylic paint, silk screen ink, gouache, and other mixed media, all coming together to create a textural symphony that is as much about the medium as it is about the message. The "Let Love In HPM Unique Collage Print" by the collaborative artistic duo MCXT, which comprises Monica Canilao and Xara Thustra, is a riveting piece of art that stands at the intersection of pop art, street art, and graffiti artwork. This unique artwork is part of a limited edition series, with only 30 pieces created, each bearing its distinct characteristics due to the handcrafted nature of the prints. Exclusivity and Technique Each print in the series has been treated with an 8-color screen printing process, laying the foundation for the following intricate collage work. After the initial printing, the artists have taken to collaging, sewing, and hand painting on each print, ensuring that every print is unique. This technique not only underscores the exclusivity of each piece but also reflects the street art ethos of creating something unique and personal, a direct contrast to the mass-produced images that often characterize the consumer culture critiqued by pop art. Dimensions and Physicality The tangible aspect of the artwork is notable, with its dimensions stretching to 9.5x25 inches. Using recycled and upcycled materials is not just an artistic choice but also a statement on sustainability and the reusability of often discarded materials. The incorporation of cloth and thread adds a dimension of domesticity and handiwork, which contrasts with graffiti art's traditionally masculine and urban connotations, thus offering a commentary on gender roles within the art world and beyond. Collaborative Synergy The collaboration between Monica Canilao and Xara Thustra melds minds and styles, which is evident in the work. Canilao's background in creating detailed, intricate worlds full of personal symbolism complements Thustra's bold, graphic approach, which often includes textual elements and a clear, strong message. The synthesis of these two approaches results in a piece that is layered not just in its physical makeup but also in its conceptual depth. Cultural and Artistic Significance "Let Love In HPM Unique Collage Print" is a testament to the power of street pop art and graffiti artwork to comment on and interact with the broader cultural discourse. With its handcrafted individuality, the artwork challenges the notion of art as a commodity and reasserts it as a means of personal expression and social commentary. It's a celebration of the DIY ethos and the cultural significance of street art as a form of public dialogue and resistance. This limited edition artwork by MCXT is a powerful piece that captures the essence of street pop art and graffiti through its use of mixed media, its handcrafted nature, and collaborative spirit. The artwork serves as both a visual feast and a sociocultural commentary, bridging the worlds of fine art, street aesthetics, and environmental consciousness.

Vans The Omega Angles Of Elevation Archival Print by Vans The Omega
Angles Of Elevation Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 300gsm Fine Art Paper by Vans The Omega Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "‘Angles of Elevation’ was the prize geometric piece of my recent show "Into The Light" and is the amalgamation of the past 7 years of trial and error, research and development painting geometric illusion within my fine artworks both in the studio and on large scale walls. I think this piece represents discovery within and the journey we make during life. The science behind geometry in the healing arts isn’t readily taught but is something I have spent many years studying and being open to on a personal and professional level. My belief and knowledge of the healing power that Art creates is a large goal of my practice in Art, both for others and myself alike. Apart from the piece serving an aesthetic appeal, the greatest aim is to reveal something about yourself while taking in the work. Visually this work came together through a series of visions that I have strived to fulfill. The dimension of this piece was my greatest challenge while giving a mixture of etheric and harder edges to push and pull the eye through space so that harmony is met." - Vans The Omega

Seen UA Multi Tags Series 8609 Original Graffiti Painting by Seen UA
Multi Tags Series 8609 Original Graffiti Painting by Seen UA One of a Kind Spray Paint & Acrylic Painting Artwork on Unstretched Canvas. 2023 Signed Original Multi Tags Series Acrylic & Spray Paint Painting Size 20x34 Multi Tags Series 8609: Original Graffiti Painting by Seen UA Multi Tags Series 8609 is a 2023 original painting by the graffiti artist Seen UA. Known as one of the pioneers of graffiti culture, Seen UA, born Richard Mirando, gained notoriety for his work on subway trains and urban landscapes during the early days of the graffiti movement in the 1970s. This piece is part of his ongoing Multi Tags Series, a collection that explores the expressive power of tagging in its raw, repetitive form. Measuring 20x34 inches, the artwork is crafted using acrylic paint and spray paint on unstretched canvas, emphasizing the street art origins of Seen’s work. The Art of Tagging in Street Pop Art and Graffiti Culture Tagging is one of the most fundamental elements of graffiti culture. A tag, typically a stylized signature or name, is the artist’s mark left on a surface, often as a form of identity or declaration of presence. In street pop art, tagging transcends its initial association with urban vandalism and becomes a form of visual expression and artistry. UA’s Multi Tags Series, 8609, captures this ethos, presenting a wall of repeated tags layered over one another rhythmically and chaotically. The repetition of tags in the series can be seen as both an assertion of identity and a commentary on the nature of urban life. The layering of tags, with overlapping colors and textures, mirrors the layering of voices, identities, and experiences in the urban environment. This dense field of repeated tags evokes the sensation of walking through a city covered in graffiti, where each tag competes for attention while simultaneously blending into the collective hum of the urban landscape. UA’s use of color in Multi Tags Series 8609 further enhances this effect. The painting is dominated by a palette of blues, grays, and whites, with each tag applied in quick, gestural strokes. The color variations suggest a gradient effect, where the tags seem to move in and out of focus, creating a sense of depth and movement. This visual layering invites the viewer to engage with the piece as a whole and on a more detailed, individual level, much like how street art is experienced in public spaces. Graffiti as an Artistic Language UA’s career has been defined by his ability to elevate graffiti from its underground roots into the wider art world. In the early days of graffiti, tags were often seen as acts of rebellion or defiance, expressions of a counterculture that rejected the norms of mainstream society. However, artists like Seen have demonstrated that tagging can also be a sophisticated form of visual language. Multi Tags Series 8609 exemplifies this idea, using tags as markers of identity and tools for creating intricate compositions. In this piece, Seen UA employs acrylic and spray paint, two mediums central to graffiti culture. Combining these materials allows for a range of textures and effects, from the smooth, controlled lines of the acrylic to the more spontaneous, unpredictable bursts of spray paint. The contrast between the two mediums reflects the tension between control and chaos often present in street art. The acrylic tags are precise and deliberate, while the spray paint adds an element of raw energy, evoking the feeling of graffiti created quickly in public spaces. The unstretched canvas in Multi Tags Series 8609 further connects the work to its graffiti roots. Unlike traditional gallery paintings, which are typically stretched and framed, the unstretched canvas recalls graffiti's impermanent, transient nature. Graffiti is often created on surfaces subject to weathering, removal, or destruction, and by choosing an unstretched canvas, Seen UA embraces this sense of impermanence. Much like the graffiti tags it depicts, the artwork feels as though it could be rolled up, moved, or even erased, underscoring the temporary and ever-changing nature of street art. Seen UA: A Legacy of Graffiti and Street Pop Art UA’s influence on the graffiti movement cannot be overstated. Often referred to as the “Godfather of Graffiti,” his work has been a cornerstone of the street art scene for decades. Starting as a young artist tagging subway cars in New York City, Seen UA helped shape the visual language of graffiti, bringing it from the streets into galleries and museums worldwide. His transition from illegal tagging on subway trains to producing fine art pieces like Multi Tags Series 8609 reflects the evolution of graffiti as an art form. Despite his success in the art world, Seen UA has always remained true to the ethos of graffiti culture. His Multi Tags Series continues to celebrate street art's raw energy and rebellious spirit, even as it is displayed in more formal settings. By repeating his tags repeatedly in this series, Seen UA reminds viewers of the persistence and resilience of graffiti culture. Tags are often removed, painted over, or buffed out by city authorities, but graffiti artists continue to create, leaving their marks wherever possible. In this sense, Multi Tags Series 8609 can be seen as a celebration of the enduring nature of graffiti and the artists who create it. The Visual Power of Repetition One of the most striking aspects of Multi Tags Series 8609 is its use of repetition as a visual device. Repetition is a powerful tool in street pop art, where the constant reiteration of symbols, images, and motifs helps to reinforce their meaning. In this piece, Seen UA’s repeated tags create a hypnotic pattern that draws the viewer’s eye across the canvas. Each tag is distinct and part of a larger whole, creating a sense of unity within the chaos. The repeated tags also evoke the act of tagging itself, which is often done in quick, repetitive motions. This physicality is reflected in the gestural quality of the tags, which appear to have been applied rapidly, with energy and urgency. The viewer can almost imagine the artist’s hand moving across the canvas, repeating the same mark repeatedly to leave a lasting impression. Multi Tags Series 8609 is a testament to Seen UA’s mastery of graffiti as a visual language and artistic expression. Using repetition, color, and texture, Seen UA creates a dynamic, engaging work that captures the essence of graffiti culture while pushing the boundaries of what street pop art can be.

Cope2- Fernando Carlo Consistency 5 Original Spray Paint Acrylic Painting by Cope2- Fernando Carlo
Consistency- 5 Original Painting Spray Paint, Acrylic, Mixed Media on Cradled Wood Panel by Cope2 Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. In recent years Cope2 has been commissioned by Time Magazine, Converse, Adidas among others. His work has even crossed into the virtual realm with appearances in video games such as Mark Eckos: Getting up and Rockstar Games: Grand Theft Auto IV. During the mid-1990s Cope2 started slowly transitioning from the streets to the art scene of the galleries. At that time, street art was not as popular as it is in our days and the general public’s idea of it was still inextricably connected to ghettos, drug dealing, etc. The artist has never hidden his troubling past and avoids idealizing it, as a way to enhance his career and artistic persona. On the contrary, he mentions the following: “Oh man, there’s nothing to be proud of in hustling, but I had my first child at the age of 16, my son. So I had to make money to support him and his mother.

J Demsky Untitled Simulator Interface IV Blotter Paper Archival Print by J Demsky
Untitled Simulator Interface IV Blotter Paper Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper by J Demsky pop culture LSD artwork. "My first experience with the Lsd was if I remember correctly about 95-96. It was a small dose, probably a quarter of a "Lucas Duck" that were quite soft, the second was the same dose with a “Bicycle" and the experience was also smooth.Until one day the "Simpson double drop" appeared and it was different. We took half to be sure of the trip and we did not notice anything after almost an hour (at that time people also sold them fake) so we decided to take the other half, imagine what happened. We lost control and my friend ran away, I supposed to go his house and I did the same. But I remember it took me a while to open all three doors since the key was bent as if it were a magic trick. The first thing I did was turn on the TV and there was the movie "The Shining", I was only able to see some scenes but I remember the second time I watch it I thought they had deleted some scenes, you can imagine...Until dawn it was very intense. I think this was the last use I did LSD in a very long time. Now I can say that I have never dedicated myself to selling drugs, but I was very good at faking things and spent a while making "replicas" of sheets of some that were very soft (like “Marilyn Monroe’s" or "Strawberries”) I even used my own designs of things that he painted at that time.In these strange days I feel with a smile remembering those experiences and adding a double drop to these new sheets. :)" - J Demsky

The title, "Beautiful Half Perfumed Helter Skelter Painting," suggests a fusion of sensory experiences and a dizzying descent into the artist's psychedelic aesthetic. Hirst, a pivotal figure in the Young British Artists movement, is known for challenging the boundaries of art with his unconventional methods and thought-provoking themes. Damien Hirst's Unique Contribution to Contemporary Art "Beautiful Half Perfumed Helter Skelter Painting" encapsulates Hirst's exploration of the chaotic beauty inherent in the world, a theme recurrent throughout his work. The giclée printing process, known for its high-quality art reproduction, perfectly complements Hirst's intricate designs. The poly-cotton canvas for these prints presents a textured surface that adds a tactile dimension to the visual experience. The mounting on birch plywood gives the artwork a sturdy base, bridging the gap between traditional canvas paintings and contemporary art prints. The piece is a colorful explosion that mimics the centrifugal force of a helter-skelter, a spiraling amusement ride, drawing viewers into a vortex of color and form. Hirst's work is often a commentary on the complexities of human existence, and this piece is no exception. Through his art, Hirst invites us to ponder the cyclical nature of life, the interplay between order and chaos, and the fragility of our perceptions. In the realms of street pop art & graffiti artwork, Hirst's "Beautiful Half Perfumed Helter Skelter Painting" is a monumental piece that marries the accessibility of street art with the exclusivity of limited edition prints. This work, and others in 'The Beautiful Paintings' series, reflect Hirst's status as an artist who continuously pushes the envelope in terms of technique and concept. The square format of the piece, often associated with balance and symmetry, is disrupted by the tumultuous swirl of colors, a juxtaposition that is quintessentially Hirst. Damien Hirst's "Beautiful Half Perfumed Helter Skelter Painting" is a must-consider for lovers of modern art looking to capture a slice of the artist's famed oeuvre. The print is a bold statement, blending the artist's signature use of vivid color with the precision of giclée printing, resulting in a piece that is as thought-provoking as it is visually arresting. Three-Piece Etching Limited Edition Etching with Aquatint Print on Hand-Decorated Fine Art Paper by Zwy Milshtein is a pop art graffiti artist art. 1970 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition Etching Art Print. Artist: Zwy Milshtein Title: Three Piece Etching Medium: etching, with Aquatint Size: 21 x 30 inches Edition: Signed in pencil and marked 26/75 Zwy Milshtein: A Maestro of Etching and Aquatint Zwy Milshtein's artistic narrative is one of movement, not just across geographies but also through the evolution of his distinct style and technique. Born in 1934 in Kichinev, now known as Moldova, Milshtein's journey through the turbulence of World War II led him from Russia to Romania and eventually to Israel. However, in Paris, to which he moved in 1955, Milshtein found his enduring artistic home. Here, he became renowned as both a painter and a master engraver, celebrated for his etchings and engravings that capture the complexity of human experience. The Intertwining Paths of Engraving and Street Art The "Three-Piece Etching" by Milshtein is a testament to the craftsmanship and depth of engraving as an art form. Completed in 1970, this signed and numbered limited edition etching with aquatint, measuring 21 x 30 inches, is a fine example of Milshtein's adeptness with aquatint—a technique that allows for the creation of tonal effects, producing rich textures and a range of shades that lend a painterly quality to prints. This artwork, part of an exclusive series marked 26/75, is particularly notable for its abstract composition and the intriguing use of negative space, which engages the viewer in a visual dialogue reminiscent of contemporary street art and graffiti. Milshtein's Impact on Contemporary Art Milshtein's influence on the art world is well-documented through numerous exhibitions and retrospectives. His work was featured at ARC, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, and in 1978, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris hosted a retrospective exhibition of his engravings. His artistic achievements include participation in the Hans Christian Andersen House project 1997, where he, along with other top European artists, paid tribute to the Danish author's bicentennial birthday. The aesthetic choices and technical skill displayed in works like "Three-Piece Etching" echo the visual strategies found in street pop art and graffiti. Milshtein's art, while distinct in its medium and execution, shares the spirit of innovation and subversion that is a hallmark of street art. His engravings invite the public to explore themes of identity, memory, and existence, much like street art and graffiti often do within the urban landscape. Zwy Milshtein's contributions to the world of engraving and his explorations in aquatint have secured his reputation as an artist of great skill and depth. "Three-Piece Etching" is a prime example of his ability to communicate complex ideas through printmaking. His legacy continues to inspire and influence artists within and beyond pop art, street art, and graffiti, affirming his artistry's enduring power and relevance.

Turk Street AP 01 Original Painting Spray Paint Aerosol on Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper by Apexer Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "When I paint on the street I like to have fun. I'm always trying new ideas out that turn into more ideas. In this painting, I wanted to have two drastically different fill-in styles. So the top half is a classic fill of mine and in the bottom half, I play with the idea of different color chrome effects. It was a fun piece to paint in the heart of San Francisco. This piece is all part of my artistic vocabulary. This particular one says apex and I was painting in the super burner style, but I was really trying to push the ideas of color and style." - Apexer
