A product of the year 2022, the AR-15 Lily, alongside its counterpart, the AK-47 Lotus, reflects Fairey's inspiration from the iconic Vietnam War protesters. These brave souls, in a symbolic gesture of peace, would insert flowers into the gun barrels of the National Guard, who were present to curtail their passionate calls for peace. Shepard Fairey, a renowned graffiti street artist, is known for intertwining pop culture, street art, and pressing social issues in his works, and this piece is no exception. His choice of a 4-color serigraph technique for this limited edition of 100 pieces exudes exclusivity and class. The print, meticulously crafted on Custom Cotton Coventry Rag Paper, evokes feelings of nostalgia and the age-old conflict between violence and peace. Fairey’s perspective, as he expresses, is deeply pacifistic. His work is not just an artistic expression but a call for diplomacy and harmony, both on international terrains and domestic fronts. While he does not challenge the Second Amendment, his emphasis is on reducing unnecessary deaths due to gun violence. In a world where the lines between art and activism often blur, Fairey's commitment to supporting causes shines through. A portion of the proceeds from this artwork, for instance, aids Brady United, an organization dedicated to preventing gun violence. The AR-15 Lily is not just a piece of art; it's a bold statement, a call for reflection, and a testament to Fairey’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace. "The AK-47 Lotus and AR-15 Lily large format serigraphs are inspired by Vietnam War protesters who would put flowers in the gun barrels of the National Guard who were brought in to suppress their protests for peace. I’m a pacifist, whether that means finding diplomatic solutions to prevent and avoid war internationally or finding diplomatic solutions to prevent and avoid gun violence at home. I’m not anti- Second Amendment, so trolls can calm down… I’m not interested in macho blathering, I just want fewer people to die unnecessarily. Brady United is doing good work preventing gun violence so they will receive a portion of proceeds from these two prints. Thanks for caring." -Shepard Fairey

Power Of Movement Limited Edition Archival Pigment Prints on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Case Maclaim Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. One of the most poignant aspects common to all of case’s works is the texture of the surfaces he uses. They are painted on a background that is made from pieces of cardboard of various sizes. Most of the cardboard comes from the packaging of the spray paint cans and they are held together with glue, staples and tape. Sometimes bits and pieces of wood are also glued onto the surface, such that a bumpy, one-of-a-kind surface appears. This structure is diametrically opposed to typically overblown, perfectionist images and it gives case’s works their unique character.

People’s Climate March – To Change Everything We Need Everyone Screen Print 18 x 24 inches Edition of 300 September 18, 2014. 'Most of you know that I am very concerned about the dangers of climate change. Dick Cheney said “if there is even a 1% chance of a terrorist attack, we must do everything in our power to be prepared”. 95% or more of the scientific community agrees that climate change is happening, and is a dramatic threat to the planet, yet far less is being done to fight climate change than to fight terrorism. It’s a good thing the streets of New York will be flooded soon — with hundreds of thousands of people demanding solutions to our out-of-control climate crisis. It’s both an honor and a calling of my conscience for me to contribute a poster to the People’s Climate March effort and get something urgent across about one of the biggest threats facing present and future generations. Riot Heart II 2 Archival Print by Prefab77 Limited Edition on 350gsm Somerset Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Artist Modern Artwork. 2019 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 25.98x25.98 Archival Pigment Fine Art  Prefab77 Riot Heart II Archival Print Riot Heart II by Prefab77 is a meticulously composed archival pigment print that embodies the layered energy associated with Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The composition forms a large heart constructed from hundreds of small silhouetted figures rendered in vivid color. Each figure appears engaged in acts of movement, protest, confrontation, celebration, or solidarity, creating a dense visual field that reads simultaneously as chaos and unity. Printed on 350gsm Somerset fine art paper, the work emphasizes both material quality and conceptual depth. The heart shape provides an immediately recognizable symbol of emotion and humanity, while the individual figures introduce tension, conflict, and social commentary within that form. Symbolism, Protest, and Collective Identity Prefab77 has consistently explored themes of rebellion, love, conflict, and cultural resistance. In Riot Heart II, these themes are distilled into a structured composition that merges romance with unrest. The heart is traditionally associated with affection and vulnerability, yet here it is constructed from silhouettes that suggest demonstrations, clashes, gestures of defiance, and moments of unity. This duality reflects the complex emotional landscape of contemporary society, where passion and protest often coexist. The varied colors scattered throughout the heart amplify the sense of diversity within collective action, reinforcing the idea that movements are composed of individuals with distinct identities. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this work functions as both a visual manifesto and a commentary on how emotion fuels public expression. Prefab77 Background and Artistic Development Prefab77 is a contemporary art collective formed in the United Kingdom. The group remains active and continues to produce work that merges graphic design, stencil traditions, punk aesthetics, and fine art techniques. Their practice emerged from street culture and evolved into studio-based production while maintaining a strong connection to themes of resistance and subcultural identity. Prefab77 is known for integrating bold typography, iconography, and emotionally charged imagery into compositions that balance immediacy with careful structure. Their contribution to Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork lies in their ability to transform raw urban sentiment into refined print editions without diminishing the urgency embedded in their subject matter. Archival Print Quality and Collector Context Riot Heart II is produced as a limited edition archival pigment print of 50, underscoring its exclusivity and fine art positioning. The use of Somerset paper enhances texture and durability, ensuring color stability and longevity appropriate for serious collections. The nearly square format allows the heart motif to dominate the composition while maintaining balanced margins that frame the imagery with subtle decorative patterning. As a work of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this piece demonstrates how protest imagery can be recontextualized into collectible form while preserving its conceptual intensity. It appeals to collectors who value socially conscious themes, strong graphic composition, and technically refined production methods rooted in contemporary urban art practices.

Here & Now Tea Stained Serigraph Print by Cryptik Limited Edition Hand Pulled Artwork on Cotton Fine Art Paper Modern Street Graffiti Pop Artist. 2024 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 75 Artwork Size 18x24 "The past no longer is, the future is not yet here; there is only one moment in which life is available, and that is the present.." ~ Thich Nhat Hanh Exploring the "Here & Now" Tea Stained Serigraph by Cryptik In the bustling milieu of modern street graffiti pop art, Cryptik stands out with his work, which resonates with a spiritual stillness. His "Here & Now" Tea Stained Serigraph Print, a 2024 release, is a meditative limited edition hand-pulled artwork on cotton fine art paper. The artist's signature and numbering suggest a contemplation of scarcity and value, with only 75 pieces available worldwide, each with a dimension of 18x24 inches. Cryptik's Calligraphy: A Dance of Elegance and Meaning Cryptik's mastery of calligraphy transcends mere artistry; it is a lexicon of more profound truths. Each stroke and curve in this piece draws from the vast reservoirs of Eastern philosophies, melding them seamlessly with street art's raw, expressive energy. The tea staining process adds an aged, almost antique quality to the work, reminiscent of ancient manuscripts and scriptures, reinforcing the timeless wisdom in Thich Nhat Hanh's words about the present moment's singularity. The "Here & Now" Print: A Canvas of Temporality and Timelessness Each serigraph in the "Here & Now" series is a unique testament to the artist's handiwork, reminiscent of the personalized strokes of traditional brushwork. Cryptik's approach transforms the act of viewing into an act of reflecting, urging the observer to dwell on the fleeting and eternal moment. This intersection of the now with the everlasting is a hallmark of Cryptik's artistic philosophy and is a golden thread that runs through the fabric of his creations. Symbolism in Cryptik's Art Beyond its visual appeal, Cryptik's serigraph print is a conduit for potent symbology. The intricate and flowing characters are more than text—they are symbols that embody the vibrations of sacred mantras and the silent echoes of meditation. Through this artwork, Cryptik harnesses the very essence of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, which often charges the public space with private introspections, offering each onlooker a personal rendezvous with the divine. Indeed, Cryptik's work does not merely hang on a wall—it lives and breathes with the viewer's consciousness. "Here & Now" is not a static piece but a dynamic interaction, a mirror reflecting the interior worlds of those who engage with it. The tea-stained backdrop, the gold-foil embellishments, and the depth of the black ink all converge to celebrate the present as a canvas of infinite possibilities. In sum, Cryptik's "Here & Now" is more than art—it's a philosophy rendered in visual form. It serves as a reminder of the impermanence of our experiences and the permanence of the wisdom we glean from them. The limited edition nature of the serigraph underscores the unique chance each person has to encounter the now, providing a space for meditation amidst the chaos of contemporary life. This piece encapsulates the transformative potential of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, asserting that within each fleeting moment lies the potential for timeless insight.

  • Sale -10% The Beauty of Rebellion Ballerina Riot Sculpture by Abell Octovan

Abell Octovan The Beauty of Rebellion Ballerina Riot Sculpture by Abell Octovan

The Beauty of Rebellion Limited Edition Polystone Art Toy Collectible Artwork by street graffiti artist Abell Octovan.  Set to challenge the notion of beauty in today's society; the ballerina is all geared up with a vest and mask, holding a smoke grenade and twirling and dancing amid a rebellion. Drawing inspiration from classic Greek sculptures, The Beauty of Rebellion features a smooth marble-like effect. The spray can is highlighted with a red accent, a representation of the desire to break free from the beauty conventions we all know. A Dance of Dissent Abell Octovan's "The Beauty of Rebellion" merges the classical grace of a ballerina with the subversive edge of street art, creating a polystone resin sculpture that challenges and redefines conventional aesthetics. This 2021 limited edition collectible embodies a visual protest against the rigid standards of beauty that permeate society, presenting a figure of elegance poised in an act of insurrection. The collectible portrays a ballerina, traditionally an icon of beauty and poise, adorned not with the typical delicate attire but with a vest and mask, holding a smoke grenade. This juxtaposition creates a striking image of contrast and conflict – amid a pirouette, the dancer is simultaneously a symbol of rebellion. The piece draws a parallel between the disciplined form of ballet and the chaotic nature of protest, suggesting that both require a certain degree of passion and precision. Marble and Movement: A Statue of Subversion Octovan's sculpture, with its smooth marble-like effect, nods to the classical Greek statues that epitomize an enduring standard of beauty and form. However, "The Beauty of Rebellion" subverts this tradition by introducing elements of street culture, namely the spray can, highlighted in red as a beacon of defiance. This very spray can represent the artist's – and society's – urge to break free from the constraints of conventional beauty norms. The ballerina stands on a cloud of billowing smoke, a base that further emphasizes the theme of upheaval. While symbolizing chaos, the smoke also serves as a pedestal for the figure, elevating her act of rebellion to one of artistic and cultural significance. This base grounds the sculpture in the realm of street pop art & graffiti artwork, where messages are often conveyed through bold and unexpected visual statements.  Defining Beauty Through Defiance "The Beauty of Rebellion" is not merely a collectible but a statement on the evolving perceptions of beauty in contemporary culture. Abell Octovan uses this piece to spark conversation about the societal pressures of beauty standards and the power of individual expression. The ballerina's dance becomes a metaphor for the struggle against these pressures, her grace a form of resistance, and her grenade a tool for societal awakening. In the context of street pop art & graffiti artwork, Octovan's work reflects the genre's capacity to address severe cultural and social issues through art that is accessible yet provocative. The sculpture encourages viewers to consider the many forms of beauty and how art can challenge the status quo. Legacy of Rebellion in Art Abell Octovan's "The Beauty of Rebellion" joins the ranks of iconic works within street pop art & graffiti artwork that have redefined how beauty is represented and understood. By fusing elements of classical art with modern-day symbols of resistance, Octovan creates a dialogue that extends beyond the sculpture into the fabric of societal discourse. The collectible is a testament to the enduring power of art to confront and question. In its blend of the classical and the contemporary, "The Beauty of Rebellion" stands as a symbol of the ongoing conversation about beauty, expression, and the role of art in challenging the conventions we have come to accept. It is a dance of dissent, captured in resin, echoing through the halls of modern art.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Riot Cop Large Format Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Riot Cop Large Format Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. 2009 Signed by Shepard Fairey- OBEY & Numbered Limited Edition of 75 Large Format Artwork Size 29.25x40.5 Silkscreen Print 20 Year Retro Series. Faint Handling Creases. Shepard Fairey's OBEY: A Landmark in Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork Shepard Fairey's "Riot Cop" is a definitive piece that embodies the rebellious spirit and critical eye of street pop art and graffiti artwork. As part of the OBEY series, this large-format silkscreen print is more than a visual statement; it's a historical marker of the genre's evolution over two decades. Crafted with precision and care, the "Riot Cop" was hand-pulled in colors on cream Speckletone fine art paper, a medium that speaks to the quality and detail revered in fine art and the raw, unfiltered message often conveyed in street art. Released in 2009, each of the 75 editions of this large-format artwork, measuring 29.25x40.5 inches, was signed and numbered by Fairey. This gesture underscores the personal touch and authenticity valued in the world of art collectors. The artwork was reissued to mark the 20th anniversary of the OBEY project, which coincided with Shepard’s 20-year retrospective at the ICA Boston. This series, revisiting images from 1998 to 2000, showcases the artist's intention to refine previous works, substituting the iconic OBEY orange for metallic gold, lending the series an air of sophistication and timelessness. Impact and Contextual Significance of Fairey's Work The "Riot Cop" is more than an aesthetic creation; it's a commentary on authority, control, and the use of power. Fairey's work is deeply ingrained in the socio-political fabric of the times, often provoking thought on the mechanisms of society and governance. The prominent use of the word "OBEY" beneath the image of an authoritative figure wielding a baton is a direct call to the viewers to question the structures and rules that govern them. This challenge to the status quo is symbolic of the cultural force that street pop art and graffiti artwork have become, serving as an outlet for creativity and a powerful tool for social critique and activism. Shepard Fairey's journey from a skater kid with a sticker campaign to a celebrated artist with a globally recognized brand is a narrative that mirrors the ascension of street art into the mainstream consciousness. The "Riot Cop" is a testament to Fairey's growth as an artist, showcasing his skill in blending the aesthetics of street art with more profound political messages. The shift in the color palette in the anniversary series from orange to metallic gold signifies a physical transformation in the artwork. It represents a maturation of the OBEY message, which has evolved to maintain relevance in an ever-changing cultural landscape. Collectability and Legacy of the OBEY Series As a limited edition artwork, the "Riot Cop" occupies a unique space in the art market, appealing to street art enthusiasts and fine art collectors. The exclusivity of the piece and its social commentary have cemented its status as a highly desirable item. The legacy of Fairey's OBEY series is not limited to the collectors who own a piece of it; it extends to its influence on aspiring street artists and the dialogue it has inspired about the role of art in society. The series mainly works like the "Riot Cop," it continues to inspire a new generation of artists who see the urban landscape as a canvas for expressing their thoughts on contemporary issues. Shepard Fairey's "Riot Cop" from the OBEY series is a significant work that captures the essence of street pop art and graffiti artwork. It stands as a cultural artifact that encapsulates the ethos of a movement, the voice of an era, and the vision of an artist who has skillfully used silkscreen printing to challenge perceptions and invite introspection. Through his work, Fairey continues to demonstrate the power of art as a means of communication, a form of resistance, and a catalyst for change.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Downward Trajectory Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Downward Trajectory Hand-Pulled 4-Color Silkscreen Print on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper by Artist Shepard Fairey Limited Edition Pop Art Artwork. 2019 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 500 Artwork Size 24x24 “Downward Trajectory is one of the many new works featured in my 30th-anniversary show in Los Angeles, “Facing the Giant: Three Decades of Dissent and New Works,” -Shepard Fairey Shepard Fairey Downward Trajectory Silkscreen Print Downward Trajectory by Shepard Fairey is a 2019 hand-pulled four-color silkscreen print that distills industrial architecture, environmental symbolism, and graphic precision into a powerful example of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The composition features a modernist factory complex with three smokestacks releasing pale emissions into a sharply segmented sky of red, black, teal, and cream. In the foreground, two gas pumps sit beneath a minimal canopy, directly referencing fossil fuel infrastructure. The geometry is clean and deliberate, recalling mid-century industrial poster design while maintaining the confrontational clarity that defines Fairey’s visual identity. Printed on cream speckletone fine art paper, the subtle texture of the surface enhances the bold color blocking and reinforces the handcrafted quality of the silkscreen process. Environmental Commentary and Graphic Structure The title Downward Trajectory communicates a clear environmental warning, suggesting decline tied to industrial expansion and energy dependence. The angular divisions in the sky create tension and imbalance, visually reinforcing instability and ecological disruption. The dominant red fields introduce urgency, while the cooler industrial tones emphasize machinery, production, and systemic consumption. Fairey’s use of minimal forms and controlled palette ensures immediate legibility, a hallmark of effective Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Rather than relying on dense imagery, he reduces the scene to essential elements, allowing viewers to interpret the relationship between architecture, pollution, and resource extraction without distraction. The oil drop emblem placed in the upper corner functions as a subtle but direct reference to petroleum industry influence. Shepard Fairey Background and Edition Details Shepard Fairey’s real name is Frank Shepard Fairey. He was born in 1970 in the United States and remains active. Emerging from early street sticker campaigns and evolving into a globally recognized figure in contemporary urban art, he has consistently addressed themes of authority, corporate power, and environmental responsibility. Downward Trajectory continues that trajectory of socially engaged printmaking. This 24 by 24 inch silkscreen print is signed and numbered in a limited edition of 500. The four-color hand-pulled process demands precise registration and layering, ensuring sharp edges and consistent saturation throughout the edition. As a work of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Downward Trajectory merges disciplined design with pointed ecological critique, making it a compelling addition for collectors who prioritize concept-driven contemporary printmaking.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Sedation of Millions AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Sedation of Millions AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Artist Proof Hand-Pulled Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. AP Artist Proof 2012 Signed & AP Marked Original Run Limited Edition Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print of Number 3 in A Gun Target Retnial With Phrase "IT TAKES THE SEDATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK." "The "Sedation Of Millions" print is inspired by the title of my favorite Public Enemy album, "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back." I think the biggest problem in America is the indifference and complacency about important issues that result from much of the population being perpetually hypnotized by conspicuous consumption, social media, entertainment, and self-medication. Using sedation and escapism for relief from the rat race might make us less aware(blissfully ignorant) but also less empowered to improve our role within the rat race… a vicious cycle of cause and effect." -Shepard Fairey The "Millions AP" silkscreen print by Shepard Fairey stands as a profound commentary on contemporary society through the lens of street pop art and graffiti artwork. As an Artist Proof from 2012, signed and marked by Fairey himself, this limited edition piece presents a powerful visual fused with a direct message characteristic of Fairey's thought-provoking style. Sized at 18x24, the print features the image of a gun target retinal, the number 3 prominently placed at its center, overlaid with the bold phrase "IT TAKES THE SEDATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK." This artwork resonates with Fairey's ongoing exploration of control, power, and propaganda. The title and the thematic content pay homage to Public Enemy's album "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back," channeling the spirit of resistance and the power of voice emblematic of the influential hip-hop group. Fairey's work challenges the viewer to consider the societal implications of complacency and the sedative effects of consumer culture, social media, and entertainment that contribute to a collective indifference toward critical issues. Shepard Fairey, renowned for his OBEY campaign and the iconic Obama "Hope" poster, consistently blurs the lines between fine art and street art, bringing forth discussions that encapsulate the ethos of both genres. The "Millions AP" silkscreen print serves not just as a piece of art but as a call to consciousness, urging a break from the "blissful ignorance" induced by escapism and advocating for empowerment through awareness and action. This work is a visual manifestation of Fairey's critique on the cyclical nature of societal sedation and the importance of awakening from it to enact change within the systems that govern daily life. In the broader scope of street pop art and graffiti, Fairey's "Millions AP" print encapsulates the essence of the medium's capacity to reflect and impact cultural dialogue. It is a testament to the potential of visual art as a medium for social commentary and a marker of the time in which it was created.

Screenprint on thick cream Speckletone paper. Numbered edition of 600. "I based this “Eyes on the King Verdict” print on photos taken by Ted Soqui during the LA riots of spring 1992. Ted has a long history of photographing activists and protests, which began after the “not guilty” verdicts on April 29, 1992, for the four officers who severely beat Rodney King. I especially love the central pic of a young woman protester in a Malcolm X hat contemplating the scene. I think it is important to consider the symbolic weight of the Rodney King verdict and the emotional impact on communities of color seeking justice and accountability. At the time, 30 years ago, I remember feeling enraged that such a blatant act of police brutality was going unpunished when it was captured on video. It is heartbreaking how frequently similar acts of violence and abuse of power by law enforcement have gone unpunished, even when caught on camera. I don’t ever condone violence or looting, but I understand why LA erupted in riots and protests after the King verdict. When people feel that the American system has failed them repeatedly, things can reach a boiling point. The urge to protest injustice and the right to do so are legitimate, even if looting is not legitimate. The LA riots were a tragic mixture. However, beware of those who try to conflate protest with “criminal agitation” or “inciting a riot.” When the system fails the people, it is nothing short of patriotic for the people to protest for a solution. Ted Soqui and I both signed the “Eyes on the King Verdict” print.” – Shepard

  • Global Warming Inked Art Toy Sculpture by Kerby Rosanes

Kerby Rosanes Global Warming Inked Art Toy Sculpture by Kerby Rosanes

Global Warming- Inked Limited Edition Polystone Sculpture Artwork by graffiti street artist modern pop artist Kerby Rosanes. 2021 Limited Edition 8" Polystone Sculpture New in Box. Inked Edition. The Symbology of Global Warming "Global Warning" is not just a sculpture but a visual narrative that captures the essence of street pop art and graffiti artwork. In this piece, a polar bear, an emblematic figure of climate change's dire consequences, perches atop a skull—a universal symbol of mortality and warning. The skull, often found in Rosanes' works, is not only a motif that resonates with the edgy and raw nature of street art but also a poignant reminder of the impermanence of life and the fragility of the natural world. The bear's poised and contemplative stance may be interpreted as a reflection on the current state of the environment, a theme that is urgent and relevant. The sculpture's name, "Global Warning," is a play on words, alluding to the global warming crisis while simultaneously issuing a warning about the potential fate of the planet. This clever wordplay indicates the thought-provoking nature inherent in Rosanes' creations. Kerby Rosanes' "Global Warning" is a sculpture that deftly conveys a critical message through street pop art and graffiti artwork. This 2021 limited edition polystone piece stands 8 inches tall and arrives in pristine condition, packaged within a box that ensures the artwork's protection and integrity. As a part of a unique series, this "Inked Edition" holds a special place in collectible art, especially among enthusiasts of Rosanes' work and collectors who appreciate the fusion of contemporary street art aesthetics with pressing global themes. The sculpture itself is a testament to Rosanes' mastery of ink-based artistry. Every inch of "Global Warning" is adorned with detailed lines drawn in ink, showcasing a level of intricacy that renders the addition of color superfluous. In this monochromatic world, the stark contrast of black and white does more than capture the observer's eye—it tells a story, ssues a statement, and provokes thought about our ecosystem's delicate balance. Monochrome as a Medium In the vast spectrum of street pop art, color plays a vital role in conveying emotion and building atmosphere. However, Rosanes takes an alternative route with the "Inked Edition" of "Global Warning." By employing only shades of black and white, he challenges the viewer to focus on the form, texture, and symbolism without the distraction of color. This choice is deliberate and impactful, as it mirrors the stark reality of environmental issues—often seen in black-and-white terms: action or inaction, survival or extinction. Rosanes' monochromatic approach also pays homage to the roots of graffiti artwork, which often started with only a can of spray paint and a wall as a canvas. In this sense, the "Inked Edition" bridges the traditional graffiti art style and the contemporary discourse on climate change. Artistry Meets Advocacy The intersection of art and advocacy is where Rosanes' "Global Warning" stakes its claim in the art world. It is a powerful representation of street pop art's ability to address societal issues head-on. The "Inked Edition" serves as a decorative piece and a call to awareness and action. Here, Rosanes' work transcends the boundaries of conventional artwork, becoming a beacon for environmental activism within the artistic community. As an object of art, "Global Warning" carries the weight of its message, harnessing the raw energy and spirit of street pop art and graffiti to highlight a pressing global challenge. Rosanes' choice to use polystone—a material known for its durability and fine detail—further amplifies the permanence of the message, suggesting that the issues of environmental degradation will not simply fade away. In the dynamic and ever-evolving world of street pop art and graffiti artwork, Kerby Rosanes' "Global Warning" stands out as a poignant, compelling work that captures the zeitgeist of our times. It serves as a stark reminder of the environmental issues that confront us and the power of art to elevate critical conversations within the public sphere. Through this limited-edition sculpture, Rosanes continues to inspire, provoke, and challenge, solidifying his place as a modern pop artist of significant influence.

Dave Kinsey Riot & Reason Archival Print by Dave Kinsey

Riot & Reason Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print on 310gsm Fine Art Paper by Dave Kinsey Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "This piece was created in 2011 using a mix of acrylic, spray enamel and collage on canvas. I created this piece for an art fair in Los Angeles. It wasn’t part of a series, but a lot of my work is based on political, social or environmental upheaval so it does fall into that context.I came up with the idea for this piece during the UK riots in 2011 that took place after the shooting death of Mark Duggan by police there. After looking at tons of images online, I noticed a commonality in the pictures; a linear perspective that was being cast from all the lines painted in the streets intended for pedestrians and traffic. I began to see these angles and lines as metaphors for control, which in this state of chaos became a contradicting element. I used this notion to create tension in Riot & Reason." - Dave Kinsey

  • Poopy Pants Designer Art Toy by Joan Cornellà

Joan Cornellà Poopy Pants Designer Art Toy by Joan Cornellà

Poopy Pants Designer Art Toy by Joan Cornellà Limited Edition Vinyl Sculpture Collectible Artwork by Pop Street Artist. 2021 Limited Edition of TBD Artwork Size 5x10.2 New In Box Printed Signature on Foot. Statue of a man in pink suit with fist up holding two signs reading: Stop Being Poor & Fiught The Power-Less. Joan Cornellà's "Poopy Pants" Designer Art Toy is a testament to the audaciousness and satirical depth characteristic of much of today's pop and street art. This limited edition vinyl sculpture released in the spring/summer of 2021 presents a provocative and simultaneously comedic vision. Depicting a figure in a bright pink suit, pants embarrassingly pulled down to his ankles, the artwork wields a directness in its messaging. A bold sign draped over the figure's torso declares, "Stop Being Poor," juxtaposed with another sign he holds aloft proclaiming, "Fight The Powerless." The imagery here is rife with paradox and contradiction. On one hand, the call to "Stop Being Poor" might be a sarcastic commentary on the oversimplification of societal ills and the ignorance of those in power. On the other, the message to "Fight The Powerless" lampoons the misdirection of societal rage and the frequent scapegoating of those least equipped to defend themselves. The use of the pink suit, a non-traditional and flashy color, further emphasizes the piece's defiance of convention. Joan Cornellà's artistry delves into the sometimes uncomfortable realm of social commentary, forcing viewers to confront and question established norms and values. This vinyl sculpture, with its printed signature on the foot, serves as both a collector's item and a powerful conversation piece. Standing proudly at 5x10.2 inches, the "Poopy Pants" figure is emblematic of the continued evolution of pop and street art, blurring the lines between humor, commentary, and protest.

As the lines between street art and the traditional art world have become increasingly blurred, Mear One's creations, particularly the "False Profits" print, come to represent a powerful intersection of societal critique and artistic expression. This serigraph print, characterized by its intricate detailing and poignant imagery, provides viewers with a raw and unfiltered perspective on capitalism, materialism, and the broader implications of a profit-driven society. Delving deeper into the artwork, Mear One employs a distinct visual language that's drawn from his experiences in the bustling streets of Los Angeles, combined with his understanding of global events and issues. This serigraph print, in particular, leverages its rich color palette and stark contrasts to underscore the disparities and tensions inherent in contemporary society. The very nature of the piece, as a serigraph, involves a meticulous printing process, whereby individual layers of color are added one at a time to produce the final image. This technique is reflective of the depth and layers of meaning embedded within the piece itself. As with many street and graffiti artists, Mear One's work often transcends mere aesthetics, aiming to prompt discussions and challenge established norms. "False Profits" is no exception. By situating this artwork within the broader context of pop art, street art, and graffiti art, one appreciates not only its technical prowess but also its capacity to function as a mirror to society, reflecting its imperfections, challenges, and the pressing need for introspection and change. "This silkscreen is based on a 2012 mural I painted off Brick Lane in the Shoreditch community of East London. I originally titled this piece “Freedom For Humanity” and experienced loads of controversy over the subject matter at the time of its creation. The mural, done entirely in spray paint, depicted a group of fat, old, decrepit white men playing a game of Monopoly on the backs of the working class. My critique of the elite banking cartels brought a standard response from the conservative contingent in London who swiftly conspired to have the piece silenced, but not before the BBC was able to televise the developing controversy surrounding the mural. A heated debate went on for about 4 weeks until finally my mural was buffed by the local governing authorities, thus silencing the message and preventing the conversation from reaching any more viewers. The message was too strong for some to cope with, but I know it was timely and relevant and it needed to be said. With the global economic situation collapsing financial systems across the planet we need more critical thought that shows resistance to this blatant disregard for humanity." - Mear One

Activism & Protest Graffiti Street Pop Artwork

Activism & Protest in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork

Activism and protest have been central themes in the evolution of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, transforming public walls, abandoned structures, and gallery spaces into platforms of social resistance. From anti-authoritarian messages sprayed on city infrastructure to vividly illustrated demands for justice in silkscreen editions, this genre has long been a visual voice for the voiceless. Artists from diverse backgrounds have used their creative skills to spotlight issues such as war, police brutality, gender inequality, environmental degradation, and systemic racism. The potency of the work comes from its placement, language, and accessibility. Art tied to activism often appears outside conventional museum settings, making its message immediate and unavoidable for those navigating urban landscapes. The democratic nature of graffiti and the reproducibility of pop art techniques have allowed artists to disseminate politically charged imagery across cities and continents.

The Visual Language of Dissent

Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork uses a distinct visual language to communicate urgency and resistance. Symbols such as raised fists, barbed wire, chains, riot shields, megaphones, and bold typography are frequently integrated into murals, posters, and stencils. Artists utilize repetition, contrast, and iconography to achieve maximum impact with minimal elements. A single stencil of a child holding a sign, or a mass-produced silkscreen poster declaring freedom or revolution, can provoke thought, galvanize action, and attract media attention. This visual shorthand makes the art instantly recognizable and resonates with audiences regardless of language. Shepard Fairey, Banksy, JR, and other internationally known figures have used these methods to inject their political views into mainstream conversations while maintaining the raw edge of graffiti and street culture.

Historical Movements and Urban Resistance

Throughout the decades, activist street art has mirrored and amplified grassroots movements around the world. During the 1960s and 1970s, protest art surged with anti-Vietnam War imagery and calls for civil rights in the United States. In South Africa, slogans and anti-apartheid murals emerged under great risk. More recently, movements such as Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, and climate justice campaigns have drawn strength from graffiti artists and street pop printmakers who create bold visuals that spread rapidly through social media and public installations. Walls and subway tunnels have been reclaimed as spaces of dialogue where art acts as both a megaphone and a historical document. The street itself becomes a gallery, archive, and battleground for competing narratives of power and resistance.

The Role of the Artist as Agitator and Ally

Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork does not just reflect activism; it actively shapes public consciousness. Artists become agitators, allies, and educators, often blurring the line between creator and protester. By embedding messages in neighborhoods, on apparel, and in limited edition prints, they create a continuity between street-based activism and contemporary fine art. Many artists work collaboratively with communities, contributing visual support to rallies, printing posters for marches, and painting murals that honor victims or amplify demands for justice. The urgency and repetition found in protest chants find visual parallels in repeated motifs and layered wheat-paste campaigns. This dynamic relationship between activism and visual art underscores how deeply connected public creativity is to political action, and how Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork continues to influence culture through direct confrontation with injustice.
