Eat Me Blotter Paper Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper by Denial pop culture LSD artwork. Archival Pigment Print on Perforated Blotter Paper Size: 7.5 x 7.5 Inches Release: April 19, 2021 Limited blotter editions are hand-perforated by Zane Kesey & may vary slightly from the example shown. Denial has evolved as one the most prominent figures of contemporary pop artists, who nonetheless, continue to stay relevant and is interested in generating thought-provoking commentary. He has a long history of exploring the boundaries of appropriation, which he uses as a means of subverting the value of cultural products, imprinted in the collective memory of the Western civilization. His work, in other words, is inviting the viewer to re-imagine our dystopian society as a way of confronting it, with humor and irony as the biggest tools of the artist.

Crafted by the renowned Modern Pop Street Graffiti Artist Ben Frost, this artwork stands as a testament to the evolution of contemporary art, where boundaries are consistently pushed, and the unconventional becomes the new norm. Executed with archival pigment, the piece is a manifestation of dedication to both content and quality. Every brushstroke, every hue, is preserved in its most accurate form, ensuring that the artwork remains timeless in its appeal. This commitment to quality is further accentuated by the choice of 290gsm Somerset Hot Press Fine Art Paper, a medium that highlights details and colors, adding depth and dimension to the artwork. The depiction of Sylvester from the Loony Toons, juxtaposed against a backdrop of marijuana drug tests, is a bold commentary on popular culture, societal norms, and perhaps the interplay of innocence and maturity. The title "Meeowie Wowie" further plays on this duality, bridging the feline character and the artwork's theme. Released in 2021, this piece has been limited to a signed and numbered edition of just 25, ensuring its exclusivity. Ben Frost's work in the Meeowie Wowie- Oversized Edition compels viewers to look beyond the surface, to find meaning in the seemingly mundane, and to appreciate the beauty in contrasts. Tigger on Zoloft Limited Edition Archival Pigment Fine Art Prints on Bauhaus Cotton Fine Art Paper by Graffiti Street Art and Pop Culture Artist Ben Frost. ‘Tigger On Zoloft’ Archival Digital Print on Bauhaus 310gsm Photo Rag 100% Cotton Paper Embossed, signed and editioned by Ben Frost 30cm x 30cm (12 x 12 inches) Melbourne, Australia Edition of 50 The essence of Frost’s commentary is established on the basis of subverting the meaning and the messages, promoted by the mainstream media. In other words and, as he has stated in the past: “The less you fill your mind with the trappings of advertising and bad television, the more space you have in your brain for things of value”. At the same time, his take on modern pop culture is equally compelling. Mainstream media, advertisements, and politics can be identified as some of his main fields of interest, which he utilizes and mixes up in a controversial formation. The word controversial is not used incidentally. What Ben Frost’s art is doing is, essentially, the appropriation and weaponization of imagery against the same system that gave birth to it.

  • Bud Heads Original Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Ben Frost Bud Heads Original Acrylic Painting by Ben Frost

Bud Heads Original One of a Kind Acrylic Painting Artwork on Marijuana Test Packaging by Popular Street Graffiti Artist Ben Frost. 2021 Signed Original Bevis & Butthead MTV Cartoon Weed Tests Acrylic on At-Home Marijuana Drug Test Box Size: 7.3125 x 5.375 Inches Release: November 26, 2021 Depicting Bevis & Butthead from MTV Cartoon TV Fame on a Real upcycled Marijuana Drug Test Box. Ben Frost, a renowned street graffiti artist, has long been acclaimed for his unique approach to pop art. His ability to infuse contemporary culture with iconic imagery has made his artwork resonate with enthusiasts and critics alike. In 2021, Frost unveiled a piece that is both nostalgic and thought-provoking: an original acrylic painting on a genuine at-home marijuana drug test package. This piece measures 7.3125 x 5.375 inches and was officially released on November 26, 2021. What makes this artwork especially captivating is the portrayal of Beavis & Butthead, the infamous duo from MTV's hit cartoon series. Their caricatured expressions, combined with the thematic context of the drug test, create a satirical commentary on pop culture, substance use, and societal norms. By employing an actual upcycled marijuana drug test box as his canvas, Frost challenges the boundaries between street art and everyday objects, blurring the lines between the mundane and the artistic. Frost's choice of Beavis & Butthead, figures deeply embedded in 90s culture, taps into a sense of nostalgia. Yet, by juxtaposing them with the marijuana drug test, he also prompts a dialogue about changing perceptions of cannabis and its place in popular culture. The artwork serves as a testament to how iconic characters can be reimagined in unexpected contexts, sparking fresh conversations. This piece is emblematic of the transformative power of street and graffiti art. By taking everyday objects and recontextualizing them, artists like Ben Frost challenge societal perceptions and encourage viewers to question the world around them. His "Bud Heads" piece on the marijuana test packaging is not just a tribute to a beloved cartoon duo but a profound commentary on the shifting cultural landscape.

Created by the artist Lauren YS, this limited edition archival pigment print is presented on perforated blotter paper, a medium traditionally linked with LSD and the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 70s. Released on April 19, 2021, this artwork measures 7.5 x 7.5 inches, a size that pays homage to the standard dimensions of blotter art sheets. The perforation of these prints is a meticulous process, hand-performed by Zane Kesey, which may result in slight variations that enhance the uniqueness of each piece. Lauren YS's creation dives into the vibrant aesthetics of street pop art, featuring characters that draw from mythological and fantastical realms. The central figure, MothMan, paired with Nai Palm, alludes to a fusion of natural charisma and human artistry, creating a narrative that is as enigmatic as it is visually engaging. The swirling, hypnotic background amplifies the otherworldly vibe of the characters, inviting the viewer into a narrative that feels dream-like and anchored in pop culture references. This piece is not merely a static image; it's a portal into the broader discussions of street pop art and graffiti artwork as platforms for alternative expression. It captures the essence of subcultural art forms, where the unconventional becomes the canvas for exploration and innovation. "Mothman x Nai Palm Blotter Paper" stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of blotter art in modern visual culture and its reimagined place within the gallery of street pop art. On the contrary, he mentions the following: “Oh man, there’s nothing to be proud of in hustling, but I had my first child at the age of 16, my son. So I had to make money to support him and his mother.

Untitled Simulator Interface IV Blotter Paper Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper by J Demsky pop culture LSD artwork. "My first experience with the Lsd was if I remember correctly about 95-96. It was a small dose, probably a quarter of a "Lucas Duck" that were quite soft, the second was the same dose with a “Bicycle" and the experience was also smooth.Until one day the "Simpson double drop" appeared and it was different. We took half to be sure of the trip and we did not notice anything after almost an hour (at that time people also sold them fake) so we decided to take the other half, imagine what happened. We lost control and my friend ran away, I supposed to go his house and I did the same. But I remember it took me a while to open all three doors since the key was bent as if it were a magic trick. The first thing I did was turn on the TV and there was the movie "The Shining", I was only able to see some scenes but I remember the second time I watch it I thought they had deleted some scenes, you can imagine...Until dawn it was very intense. I think this was the last use I did LSD in a very long time. Now I can say that I have never dedicated myself to selling drugs, but I was very good at faking things and spent a while making "replicas" of sheets of some that were very soft (like “Marilyn Monroe’s" or "Strawberries”) I even used my own designs of things that he painted at that time.In these strange days I feel with a smile remembering those experiences and adding a double drop to these new sheets. :)" - J Demsky

The paper is left to dry, and the resulting print is then carefully removed from the blotter paper. Archival printing techniques are used to produce high-quality prints of the original artwork. This involves using high-quality inks and paper that are designed to last for a long time without fading or deteriorating. Archival prints are also resistant to moisture and sunlight, which helps to preserve the artwork for years to come. Blotter paper artwork prints can be a great addition to any home or office decor, and they are often used as a unique form of wall art. They are also popular among collectors and art enthusiasts, as each print is one-of-a-kind and can never be replicated exactly.

Psychedelic Andre- Pinnacle Blue Blotter Paper Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper by Shepard Fairey X John Van Hamersveld pop culture LSD artwork. "I first made this image in 1967, and then the poster came out in 1968. One day I sat down and started this drawing out of my style. I had been an art director at Capitol Records, and I hadn't been drawing very much. It was a whole new state I was in. But it was an opportunity to test my drawing and put it into a poster and have it published. It all came out great. It was a fantastic show. There were ads everywhere and people loved the poster. It just started to become a piece of history right away, much like The Endless Summer poster." - John Van Hamersveld "I became a fan of Hendrix after I exited my punk rock orthodoxy phase. I ended up gravitating towards John's image because it had that nod to psychedelia, without going so overboard in the baroque detail, that it remained iconic. This Hendrix image itself — along with a few other influences, like Barbara Kruger and Russian Constructivism — was a huge influence in how I was going to make work that had the ability to cut through the clutter of what's on the street and still have a recognizable style. When I was just making variations of the Andre on the different backgrounds, I was looking at a lot of psychedelic work, but John's piece really inspired me to make something that was a deviation from just playing it safe with the original Andre image. So John's Pinnacle Hendrix was sort of a gateway to the evolution of my entire Andre The Giant project. I can't really understate the importance of this image for me." - Shepard Fairey

J Demsky Untitled Simulator Interface II Blotter Paper Archival Print by J Demsky

Untitled Simulator Interface II Blotter Paper Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper by J Demsky pop culture LSD artwork.

Drug

The use of drugs as a theme in graffiti street art is not uncommon, and has been prevalent in urban art culture for decades. Graffiti artists often use drug-related imagery and symbolism to comment on social issues such as addiction, drug abuse, and the war on drugs. For example, some street artists create artwork depicting the negative effects of drug use, such as ruined lives, health problems, and social isolation. Others may use drugs as a symbol of rebellion against authority or as a way to express their counter-culture views. It's worth noting that not all graffiti art related to drugs is necessarily advocating or glorifying drug use. Some artists may use the topic as a means of raising awareness and sparking conversations around issues related to drug abuse and addiction. Graffiti street art related to drugs can be a way for artists to express their opinions and commentary on social issues, and can serve as a powerful tool for raising awareness and starting important conversations.
