  • Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 Lithograph Print by Takashi Murakami TM/KK

Takashi Murakami TM/KK Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 Lithograph Print by Takashi Murakami TM/KK

Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 Lithograph Print by Takashi Murakami TM/KK Hand-Pulled Print on Wove Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Graffiti Street Pop Artwork. 2004 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 300 Artwork Size 19.75x19.75 Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 by Takashi Murakami – A Psychedelic Icon of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 is a 2004 signed and numbered limited edition lithograph by renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, measuring 19.75 x 19.75 inches. Issued in an edition of 300, the print features a cluster of floating, stylized eyes with jellyfish-like appendages, hovering across a black background with vibrant, pulsating color. The concentric orbs and whimsical lashes form an enigmatic composition that is both playful and surreal, drawing viewers into Murakami’s immersive visual universe. This work exemplifies Murakami’s ability to merge traditional Japanese aesthetics with global pop culture, injecting high-energy iconography into the realms of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Neo-Pop Formalism Meets Subcultural Visual Language The hypnotic design of Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 showcases Murakami’s deep engagement with visual repetition and pop surrealism. Each eye radiates concentric bands of neon pink, electric blue, acid green, and gold—colors more commonly associated with commercial animation, toy design, and graffiti murals than traditional lithography. The black background intensifies the floating sensation of these biomorphic forms, transforming the space into a dreamlike field of suspended consciousness. Murakami’s roots in Nihonga painting and Edo-period compositions are evident in the fluid arrangement and balance, while the synthetic palette and digital smoothness embrace the commercialized intensity of pop iconography. In Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this blend of classical order with radical form asserts Murakami’s place as both historian and provocateur. Eyes, Surveillance, and the Otaku Psyche The eyes that populate Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 are not passive. They gaze back with unsettling presence, creating a dynamic tension between observer and observed. The motif reflects Murakami’s frequent exploration of otaku culture, surveillance capitalism, and the consumer gaze. These eyes are playful, even cute, but also obsessive, invasive, and endlessly watching. Some appear innocent; others twitch with layered concentric pupils and pupil-like satellites. This multiplicity mirrors the fragmentation of identity in digital and urban life. As seen across the broader scope of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, these eyes function as pop sigils—icons that entertain, disturb, and invite deeper inspection. Takashi Murakami and the Legacy of Superflat in Street Art Takashi Murakami’s impact on both fine art and street culture cannot be overstated. Through his Superflat theory, he developed a framework for collapsing the boundaries between high and low, ancient and hyper-modern, traditional painting and graffiti-inspired visual immediacy. Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 exists within that lineage as a work that is collectible, cultural, and subversively simple. The lithograph form nods to limited edition printmaking history while its aesthetic remains grounded in the saturated language of mass media and youth culture. As Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork continues to evolve globally, Murakami’s work offers a lens into how Japanese visual codes, anime motifs, and psychedelic surface treatments can coexist with the raw expressiveness of street-born art forms. Jellyfish Eyes Black 1 does not demand translation—it simply stares back, glowing in the dark, inviting you to feel.

At the same time, there's also an aspect of this work that is " not taking yourself too seriously, vandalizing your icons," Shark Toof said while preparing in Detroit. "I like Detroit because it is very do-it-yourself, and I am a very do-it-yourself artist, so it is a great fit for me."-Shark Toof The Artistic Dialect of Shark Toof: Subverting Pop Culture Icons Shark Toof's "Ceci N'est Pas Une Peter Griffin" is a compelling piece that showcases the artist's deft blend of graffiti roots with the playful irreverence of modern pop art. Created in 2014, this original painting embodies Shark Toof's unique voice, a voice he has cultivated through his deep connections with the street art movement. This artwork, measuring 27x19 inches, is a striking example of his mixed media mastery, incorporating acrylic and aerosol on canvas. In this piece, Shark Toof engages with the familiar iconography of pop culture, specifically the well-known character Peter Griffin from the animated sitcom "Family Guy." However, in true street art fashion, Shark Toof takes this familiar image and subverts it, adding layers of meaning and challenging the viewer's perceptions. The title, a nod to René Magritte's famous work, plays with the idea of representation and reality, encouraging viewers to question what they see. The painting's mixed media approach is characteristic of street pop art, which combines various techniques and materials to create dynamic visuals. Shark Toof's use of bold colors and exaggerated features captures the essence of graffiti art's impact while paying homage to pop art's stylized aesthetics. His work does not shy away from humor or satire; instead, it embraces these elements to deliver a more profound commentary on the nature of celebrity, fandom, and the art world itself. In the context of street pop art and graffiti artwork, Shark Toof stands out as an artist who embodies the DIY spirit of the genre. His affinity for cities like Detroit, with their rich industrial pasts and vibrant street art scenes, speaks to his commitment to the grassroots nature of his craft. Crafted in 2007, this original magic marker drawing on card stock paper bears the dimensions of 10x6 inches and presents an intriguing subject—a flying demon jellyfish. As a signed original, it is a tangible connection to Buff Monster's creative spirit and street art's broader narrative. The artwork features a whimsical creature, a hallmark of Buff Monster's style, which often combines the cute with the grotesque and the playful with the demonic. This juxtaposition is emblematic of street pop art's power to blend disparate elements to provoke thought and evoke emotion. The jellyfish, with its dangling tentacles and angelic wings, invites a dialogue about the nature of duality—sinister yet benign, floating yet directed. Buff Monster's use of stark black ink against the plain background exemplifies the potency of contrast—a technique frequently employed in street art to convey explicit, powerful imagery even from a distance. The decision to represent a demon jellyfish suggests a narrative where mythological creatures and urban legends converge, creating a tapestry of modern folklore. The inclusion of Buff Monster's signature and the year of creation anchors the piece in time, offering authenticity and a snapshot of the artist's evolution. As street pop art continues to gain recognition, works like "Demon Jellyfish" are pivotal in chronicling the movement's history and the diversity of its artistic expressions. • Jelly Monster Pink Unique Original Silkscreen Print by Buff Monster

Jelly Monster Pink Unique Original Silkscreen Print by Buff Monster

Jelly Monster Pink Unique Original Silkscreen Print by Buff Monster Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Screenprint Artwork. 2006 Signed & Dated Unique Original Silkscreen on Wood Panel Artwork Size 10.13x10.13  Jelly Monster Pink by Buff Monster – Playful Chaos in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The 2006 Jelly Monster Pink unique silkscreen print by Buff Monster represents one of the early and defining works of the American artist’s irreverent and sugar-soaked approach to Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Hand-pulled on a 10.13 x 10.13 inch wood panel, this signed and dated original is more than a print—it is a hybrid of painting, pop artifact, and graffiti statement. The pink jelly-like figure at the center is rendered in bold black outlines, exuding Buff Monster’s trademark aesthetic of cheerful grotesquery. Swirled hypnotic eyes, a stitched mouth, and a body resembling soft candy or alien confectionery play with themes of innocence and surrealism. The surface texture of the wood adds a tactile element that enhances the artwork’s physical presence, grounding its bright colors and playful form in something more rugged and permanent. Buff Monster and the Visual Language of Urban Candyland Buff Monster, born in Hawaii and based in New York, is a prominent figure in the evolution of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Known for his obsessive use of pink and his fusion of Japanese kawaii culture with punk rock and heavy metal aesthetics, he has developed a distinctive style rooted in contradictions. Jelly Monster Pink is emblematic of this duality—it is adorable yet unsettling, cute but disorderly. The character presented in this piece embodies Buff Monster’s interest in creating a world where mutant mascots and saccharine colors disarm the viewer, only to provoke a second glance where unease and irony begin to surface. This work from 2006 falls within a period when the artist was expanding his presence in the street art community, translating his hand-painted monsters into prints, toys, murals, and exhibitions. Medium, Material, and Street Culture Permanence Unlike typical silkscreen works on paper, Jelly Monster Pink is printed directly onto a wood panel, emphasizing durability and blurring the line between print and object. The wood grain subtly visible through the pink ink provides a contrast that amplifies the artificial vibrancy of the character. Buff Monster’s process of hand-pulling these prints ensures that no two are completely alike, reinforcing the handmade, graffiti-influenced ethos that runs through all of his practice. This piece carries the same energy of his early street pastings and character stickers, but in a format suited for gallery or collector display. It represents how artists rooted in graffiti culture have embraced traditional art materials without abandoning their visual urgency. Cartoon Absurdity and Candy-Coated Dissent Jelly Monster Pink speaks through cartoon logic and sugary visuals, yet its undercurrents are deeply subversive. The figure’s crossed-out mouth, vacant spiraled eyes, and protruding teeth suggest something lost in translation—an emotion masked in sweetness or a creature caught in perpetual confusion. This blend of innocence and distortion captures Buff Monster’s ethos of using cute forms to express chaos, uncertainty, and satire. In the larger world of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, his work disrupts expectations by channeling nostalgia through a distorted mirror. It transforms symbols of childhood into sophisticated commentary on identity, culture, and art itself. Jelly Monster Pink stands as a playful yet potent example of this ongoing practice, combining clean design with wild imagination and a hint of irreverence that never fully fades.

Breach Sunset Red Lava Foil Archival Print by Raid71 Limited Edition on White Matte Pearl Lava Foil Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Artist Modern Artwork. 2025 Numbered Print Limited Edition of 35 Artwork Size 18x24 SwissQ Eco-Precision Print Fine Art. Breach Sunset: Raid71’s Explosion of Color and Symbol in Limited Foil Print Breach Sunset Red Lava Foil Archival Print by Raid71 stands as a searing example of how contemporary Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork can evoke both the power of nature and the digital fluidity of modern printmaking. Released in 2025 as a limited edition of 35, this 18x24 inch numbered print is produced on high-luster white matte pearl lava foil using SwissQ Eco-Precision fine art technology. The piece is both environmentally mindful and visually aggressive, featuring a dynamically breaching orca at the epicenter of a foaming vortex with a blazing sun suspended behind it. The work is a torrent of symbolic intensity and hyper-controlled craft, channeling the printmaker’s technical skill and eye for layered visual storytelling. Mythology, Ecology, and Street Language in Raid71’s Composition The orca at the center of Breach Sunset is not just a marine creature but a totem of strength and spiritual force. Its body is rendered in an intricate pattern that recalls indigenous Pacific Northwest Coast art while simultaneously evoking cybernetic overlays and graffiti iconography. The decision to stage the breach with a frontal perspective forces the viewer into the moment, as if physically caught in the explosion of water and light. The crimson background and white sun intensify this sensation—emphasizing energy, elevation, and rupture. The composition reflects both the sacredness of nature and the cultural remix aesthetic of street-based art movements. By fusing mythic animal iconography with postmodern urban form, Raid71 offers a visual thesis on cultural convergence and environmental consequence. The Power of Foil Medium in Pop Graffiti Street Art The lava foil medium plays an essential role in the effectiveness of this work. This special material not only amplifies color saturation but introduces a constantly shifting visual texture depending on angle and light. Red tones smolder, silver wave patterns shimmer, and the depths of the sea glisten with microscopic highlights. Unlike standard silkscreens, the SwissQ Eco-Precision print process delivers pin-sharp detailing with sustainability-focused ink, allowing for brilliance without ecological waste. Every line, splash, and particle seems animated by the reflective nature of the foil. This aligns with Raid71’s intent to create pieces that live in motion, as if the viewer is witnessing a still frame from a living dream. Raid71’s Contribution to Contemporary Print Culture Raid71 is the alias of Chris Thornley, a UK-based illustrator and fine artist whose body of work spans editorial commissions, pop culture homage, and graffiti-inspired original visuals. With a style rooted in architectural precision and disruptive energy, Raid71’s prints have become essential collectibles in the urban art world. Breach Sunset reflects his passion for narrative clarity delivered through layered, high-intensity visuals. Whether working on political subjects, music-themed designs, or pure abstraction, his focus remains on the transformational power of image-making. Breach Sunset Red Lava Foil is both a technical masterpiece and an emotional trigger—a meditation on extinction, rebirth, and the dualities of street-rooted fine art. This edition of 35 is a rare and striking representation of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork elevated into the realm of modern myth.

Shark Toof Cigarette Pack Limited Edition 2-Color Screen Print on 130lb Cougar Fine Art Paper by Shark Toof street artist modern pop art. 2016 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 40 Artwork Size 18x24 "After a good full year of establishing the Shark Toof Icon on the streets, I didn't quite know where I wanted to move the Icon. It took some isolation to really stand behind my own beliefs without becoming a political artist. Thinking of iconographic shapes, I thought the cigarette pack is an easily identifiable shape which lead me to the idea of "Guilty Pleasures" and the Shark Toof Cigarette Pack. Although, I am not a smoker myself, I support every individual to indulge in whatever pleasures them as long as others aren't effected." - Shark Toof

  • The Card Sharks Giclee Print by Joe Ledbetter

Joe Ledbetter The Card Sharks Giclee Print by Joe Ledbetter

The Card Sharks Giclee Fine Art Print by Joe Ledbetter Limited Edition on Fine Art Paper Pop Graffiti Street Artist Modern Artwork. 2011 Signed & Numbered Print Limited Edition of 99 Artwork Size 16x20 Giclee Fine Art  The Card Sharks Giclee Fine Art Print by Joe Ledbetter – Limited Edition Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Joe Ledbetter, a highly influential figure in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, presents The Card Sharks, a playful yet sharply conceptualized 16x20-inch giclee fine art print on premium fine art paper. Released in 2011 as a signed and numbered limited edition of 99, this print is a perfect example of Ledbetter’s signature fusion of cartoon-inspired character design, sharp linework, and social commentary wrapped in humor. Featuring a group of anthropomorphic sharks engaged in an intense poker game, the artwork draws from classic gambling motifs while maintaining Ledbetter’s distinct visual identity. The composition is set in an underwater lounge where various sharks sit around a poker table, each displaying their own unique personalities. The pink velvet chairs, scattered poker chips, and expressive gestures of the sharks add a sense of movement and storytelling to the scene. With a mixture of smirks, sneaky glances, and concealed cards, the sharks embody the cunning and strategic mindset associated with gambling culture. The use of cool-toned blues, purples, and greys contrasts with the warmer hues of the furniture and gaming table, creating a visually dynamic and engaging piece. Joe Ledbetter’s Influence in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Joe Ledbetter has carved out a distinct style within the world of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, combining influences from designer toys, graffiti, and classic animation. His use of bold outlines, geometric shapes, and expressive characters creates a visual language that is both contemporary and nostalgic. His ability to inject humor and social commentary into his work allows him to engage audiences beyond surface-level aesthetics. His artistic background in illustration and graphic design gives his work a highly polished yet spontaneous feel, making his pieces perfect for translation across various media, from murals to vinyl figures to fine art prints. The Card Sharks exemplifies Ledbetter’s approach, taking a familiar scenario—poker night—and transforming it into a vibrant and satirical scene filled with layered meaning and personality. The sharks, often symbolic of ruthless business tactics or predatory instincts, serve as both a literal and figurative representation of high-stakes strategy and deception. The Card Sharks – A Clever Take on Power and Strategy The Card Sharks is more than just a playful representation of gambling culture; it is a visual commentary on strategy, power, and the psychology of competition. Sharks have long been associated with aggression and dominance, making them fitting characters for a poker-themed piece. The varying expressions on each shark’s face suggest different emotional states—confidence, suspicion, and deception—capturing the essence of a high-stakes game. The surrounding details, such as the neatly stacked poker chips, hidden aces, and shadowy silhouettes of other fish in the background, reinforce the tension within the composition. The contrast between the luxurious setting and the inherently dangerous nature of sharks adds an additional layer of irony, making the scene both humorous and intriguing. The use of pastel pink chairs and soft lighting further subverts the typical dark, moody ambiance associated with gambling environments, turning the piece into something uniquely whimsical yet edgy. The Lasting Impact of The Card Sharks in Contemporary Art The Card Sharks remains a standout piece in Joe Ledbetter’s catalog, encapsulating his ability to blend humor, satire, and sleek design into a single compelling artwork. As part of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this print represents the movement’s ability to take everyday scenarios and reimagine them through bold, stylized interpretations. The limited-edition nature of the print makes it a highly sought-after piece among collectors, as it captures Ledbetter’s artistic vision at its finest. By incorporating gambling themes with animalistic instincts, The Card Sharks highlights the intersection of playfulness and calculated risk, a theme that resonates both in art and in life. The work’s ability to tell a complete story through expression, composition, and symbolism makes it a perfect example of modern urban contemporary art. Whether viewed as a commentary on competition or simply as a fun, visually captivating piece, The Card Sharks continues to hold its place as a unique and engaging work within the ever-evolving world of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork.

Protect The Blue Planet- Large Format Limited Edition Hand Pulled 2-Color Serigraph Print on 100% Cotton Coventry Rag Paper by Shepard Fairey Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2022 Signed & Numbered Hand Deckled 30 x 41 inches Serigraph on Coventry Rag, 100% cotton custom archival paper Hand-deckled edges Limited Edition of 75 Signed + Numbered Printed by Obey Giant "Protect The Blue Planet" stands as a testament to Shepard Fairey's dedication to using his art as a vehicle for environmental advocacy, fusing the worlds of pop art, street art, and graffiti art. This limited edition, hand-pulled 2-color serigraph, reveals the intricate relationship between humanity and our environment. Imprinted on 100% cotton Coventry Rag paper, the choice of material underpins Fairey’s commitment to sustainable artistry. The dimensionality of the piece, 30 x 41 inches, lends itself to an immersive viewing experience, accentuated further by its hand-deckled edges, which bring a tactile, organic touch, reminiscent of the raw edges of street posters. In partnering with the PangeaSeed Foundation to release this work for Earth Month, Fairey encapsulates the pressing environmental concerns of the modern era. Central to the piece is the depiction of an endangered North Atlantic right whale that exudes a mandala with the earth cradled within. This mandala, rooted in various cultural traditions, signifies harmony, unity, and the interconnectivity of the planet's ecosystems. The floral ornaments within it blossom as symbols of flourishing harmony, but the contrasting inclusion of flames starkly reminds viewers of the ever-looming threat of global warming. The text - "Protect the Blue Planet" and "One Ocean-One People" - along with the chosen blue palette, draws attention to the inextricable bond between thriving oceans and a sustainable world. As a renowned figure in the street art community, Fairey's work has always pushed boundaries, and with "Protect The Blue Planet", he once again blurs the lines between artistic expression, activism, and social responsibility, reminding the world of its role in safeguarding the planet. "To celebrate Earth Month, in collaboration with PangeaSeed Foundation, I’m pleased to release, “Protect The Blue Planet” which features an endangered North Atlantic right whale emanating a mandala with the earth as its focal point. In several cultures, the mandala represents harmony, unity, and wholeness, all of which are important concepts when considering the interconnected nature of the planet’s ecosystems, people, and species. The mandala features floral ornaments symbolizing harmony in bloom, but also flames as a reminder of the perils of global warming. The “Protect the Blue Planet” and “One Ocean-One People” text within the artwork and the blue color palette serve to emphasize the crucial connection between healthy oceans and a healthy planet." – Shepard

Shark Toof Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob PP Archival Print by Shark Toof

Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob PP Archival Print by Shark Toof Limited Edition Print on 310gsm Museum Fine Art Paper Pop Artist Modern Artwork. PP Printers Proof 2019 Signed & Marked PP Limited Edition Artwork Size 24x18 Archival Pigment Fine Art. "Ceci N'est Pas Une Spongebob, This Is Not A Spongebob" Decoding "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob" by Shark Toof "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob" is a provocative piece by the renowned street pop artist Shark Toof, challenging the boundaries of pop culture iconography within the context of modern street art. The artwork is a Printer's Proof (PP) archival print from 2019, meticulously signed and marked by the artist, denoting its status as a rare collector's item. Printed on 310gsm Museum Fine Art Paper, this piece exemplifies the high-quality medium Shark Toof employs to ensure durability and depth of color, crucial for the archival pigment fine art that this work represents. A Fusion of Street Art and Pop Culture This piece is a testament to the collision of street pop art and graffiti artwork with mainstream pop culture symbols. Shark Toof takes the universally recognized figure of SpongeBob SquarePants and distorts it, presenting an image that both acknowledges and subverts the original character. The title itself, a nod to René Magritte's "The Treachery of Images," prompts viewers to question the nature of representation and reality in art. Shark Toof's work suggests that the image of SpongeBob we see is not the character itself but a representation skewed by the artist's perspective and the cultural context in which it is viewed. Shark Toof's Artistic Commentary In "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob," Shark Toof is not simply replicating a beloved character; he is initiating a dialogue about the saturation of media icons in society and the consumption of these images. The distortion and decomposition of SpongeBob's features invite the audience to reflect on how mass media shapes and sometimes distorts our perceptions. This work captures the spirit of street pop art by using graffiti artwork's spontaneous and rebellious essence to comment on and criticize phenomena. The layered textures and vibrant colors reveal the complex relationship between commercial imagery and artistic expression. The art piece explores the tension between street art's ephemeral nature and fine art prints' enduring quality. Shark Toof bridges two seemingly disparate worlds by choosing SpongeBob, an icon from an animated children's show, and placing it in the sophisticated realm of limited edition prints. This juxtaposition challenges the viewer's understanding of what constitutes 'legitimate' art, questioning the hierarchies within the art world. Through "Ceci N'est Pas Une SpongeBob," Shark Toof contributes to the discourse on the value and significance of street pop art and graffiti artwork in contemporary culture. By recontextualizing a figure from the lexicon of popular media, he endows it with new meaning and elevates it within the art canon. This artwork is a visual spectacle with an intellectual engagement, prompting conversations about the nature of art, media's influence, and street art's power to transform and transcend ordinary objects and characters into extraordinary pieces of cultural commentary.

Fish as Metaphors in Urban Artistic Expression

Artists in urban environments have adopted the fish as a metaphor for freedom and fluidity, contrasting the often rigid confines of city life. In street pop art, fish can be depicted as breaking free from water, defying gravity, and swimming through the air, challenging viewers to question their environments' boundaries and consider the nature of freedom. Graffiti artists use the fluid form of the fish to inject a sense of motion and life into static urban landscapes, crafting a visual stream that guides the eye and invigorates public spaces. Furthermore, fish in street art can represent the concept of transformation and adaptability.
