Julian Callos

Julian Callos is a Filipino-American artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. He is known for his unique visual style, which combines elements of surrealism, fantasy, and whimsy to create captivating illustrations. His work often features anthropomorphic animals, nature, and fantastical elements, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. Callos' artwork can be seen in various formats, including book covers, editorial illustrations, and gallery exhibitions. He has worked with clients such as The New York Times, Disney, and Penguin Random House, among others. Callos is also known for participating in group and solo exhibitions, showcasing his original art pieces in galleries across the United States and internationally. In addition to his illustration work, Callos has taught illustration and design courses at institutions like ArtCenter College of Design and California State University, Northridge.
