This piece is the brainchild of two phenomenal artists, Shepard Fairey of the Obey fame, and Ernesto Yerena Montejano from Hecho Con Ganas. Both artists are renowned for their bold stances and vibrant portrayals of socio-political issues, and this particular piece showcases their combined brilliance. Camille Rose Garcia Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia

The Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia Limited Edition 1-Color on Deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper Graffiti Street Pop Artwork. 2020 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 8x10 Letterpress Print Art Printmas 2020 of a Creapy Stylized Swan Bird Monster Dressed as a Nurse. The Swan Nurse Letterpress Print by Camille Rose Garcia The Swan Nurse letterpress print by Camille Rose Garcia is a hauntingly whimsical piece that combines surrealism with Street Pop Art’s bold and provocative aesthetic. Released in 2020 as part of the Art Printmas series, this 8x10 work of art is printed on deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, emphasizing the artisanal quality of the print. The image features a stylized swan, grotesquely reimagined as a sinister nurse, complete with exaggerated features, gothic undertones, and a bow-tied costume. Signed and numbered in a limited edition of 100, this print exemplifies Garcia’s ability to craft deeply engaging narratives through her unique artistic vision. Camille Rose Garcia: A Visionary in Pop Surrealism Camille Rose Garcia is renowned for her ability to blend dark themes with playful imagery, creating pieces that invite both curiosity and introspection. Born in 1970 in Los Angeles, her work draws inspiration from vintage cartoons, dystopian literature, and surrealist art movements. Through her distinct style, Garcia often critiques consumerism, environmental degradation, and societal constructs, using fantastical characters and dreamlike settings to present her commentary. The Swan Nurse is a striking example of Garcia’s storytelling prowess. The swan, often associated with elegance and beauty, is here transformed into a macabre figure with sharp features, exaggerated proportions, and a menacing gaze. The nurse costume, complete with a hat bearing a medical cross, adds an eerie layer of ambiguity to the piece, leaving viewers to question its narrative. This juxtaposition of innocence and menace is a hallmark of Garcia’s work, emphasizing her ability to challenge traditional interpretations of beauty and morality. The Craftsmanship of Letterpress Printing The letterpress printing technique employed in The Swan Nurse adds a tactile richness and vintage charm to the artwork. By pressing ink into the deckled edges of the 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper, this traditional method creates a textured, embossed finish that enhances the intricate details of the illustration. The single-color palette, rendered in deep black ink, amplifies the stark contrasts and dramatic linework, allowing the swan’s unsettling expression to dominate the composition. The choice of deckled paper adds an artisanal feel to the print, further connecting it to the handmade traditions of Street Pop Art. This emphasis on craftsmanship aligns with Garcia’s ethos of elevating her fantastical creations into timeless works of art that merge classic techniques with modern themes. The Swan Nurse as a Statement of Street Pop Art The Swan Nurse is a compelling representation of Street Pop Art, using a surreal and slightly grotesque character to convey themes of transformation, authority, and the uncanny. By reimagining the swan—a symbol of grace and purity—as a creepy nurse, Garcia subverts expectations, drawing viewers into a world where beauty and menace coexist. The work’s playful yet unsettling aesthetic is a hallmark of Street Pop Art’s ability to engage and provoke thought. This limited-edition print is not just a piece of art; it is a narrative-rich creation that invites the audience to explore its layers of meaning. Its 8x10 size and exclusive run of 100 make it an ideal collectible for enthusiasts of Camille Rose Garcia’s work and those who appreciate the intersection of fine art and urban commentary. The Swan Nurse exemplifies Garcia’s mastery in combining craftsmanship, narrative, and visual impact, solidifying its place as a standout piece in contemporary Street Pop Art.

Particularly, I so remember the early 90’s and seeing a lot of Raider, Charger, Chivas de Guadalajara and America jersey’s and of course those of the Dodger’s and their blue and white hats with the iconic LA blazoned on the front. But my immediate family was different. My dad who in the early 1990’s sold automotive paint and painted cars was surprisingly not that much into the usual sports but all except for BOXING! At that point in time I remember the gatherings at my house when there was a Julio Ces One- Rob Provenzano ar Chavez fight, a De La Hoya fight or a Maromero Paez fight. My dad would bring the TV outside, set-up a bunch of chairs, roll out the grill, fire up the mesquite and lay down the marinated carne asada before the first round bell. I remember how much fun those days were and how much pride people had in the Mexican fighters." -Ernesto Yerena Montejano

  • Sway With The Wind Giclee Print by Curiot Tlalpazotl

Curiot Tlalpazotl Sway With The Wind Giclee Print by Curiot Tlalpazotl

Storm On The Horizon Giclee Print by Curiot Tlalpazotl Artwork Limited Edition Print on Moab Entrada Fine Art Paper Graffiti Pop Street Artist. 2014 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 30 Artwork Size 20x16 Mexican Indian Latin Themed Stylized Tribal Folk Lore. Storm On The Horizon Giclee Print by Curiot Tlalpazotl: Mythic Reverberations in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Storm On The Horizon is a limited edition giclee print created in 2014 by the renowned Mexican street pop art and graffiti artist Curiot Tlalpazotl. Printed on Moab Entrada fine art paper, this 20 x 16 inch signed and numbered work is part of a rare edition of only 30. The piece embodies the artist's signature synthesis of folkloric symbolism, futuristic mythologies, and visual storytelling rooted in pre-Hispanic culture. Curiot’s art is known for its balance of vibrancy and mystique, a fusion that transforms ancient cultural references into visual narratives accessible to contemporary viewers. Mesoamerican Spirituality Rendered Through Modern Techniques Storm On The Horizon depicts a surreal being woven from animal parts, ceremonial regalia, and neon-hued energies. The creature, haloed in pink tones and iridescent beams, appears in motion—arms outstretched and limbs spiraling—suspended in a timeless void. This hybrid entity channels elements from Mesoamerican iconography, but is rendered through a lens of post-digital surrealism. The concentric arrangement and flowing fur-like textures evoke the ceremonial attire worn in indigenous rituals, while the faceted, mask-like visage suggests an otherworldly spirit or deity. The soft gradients and fluid forms are enhanced by the high-fidelity giclee process, allowing each layer of color and detail to be captured with nuance and precision. Curiot Tlalpazotl’s Vision and Cultural Resonance Curiot, whose real name is Favio Martínez, is a Mexican-born artist recognized for his murals, prints, and gallery works that navigate themes of lost traditions, urban disconnection, and spiritual reawakening. His adopted surname, Tlalpazotl, reflects a re-rooting in indigenous language and identity, honoring the cultural legacies of Mexico’s past while confronting the fragmentation caused by colonization and modern consumer culture. Storm On The Horizon is emblematic of this vision—neither nostalgic nor didactic, it builds new symbols that are equally spiritual and psychedelic, anchored in Mexican folklore yet radically forward-looking. The palette’s warmth draws viewers in, only to reveal a deeper meditation on memory, loss, and the cyclical nature of history. Myth Reimagined as Street Pop and Fine Art Fusion The power of Storm On The Horizon lies in its ability to blend tribal aesthetics with contemporary techniques without diminishing either. As Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, it operates in multiple spaces—public murals, fine art collections, and underground zines—while retaining its cultural pulse. Curiot's use of soft pastels, radiant geometries, and hybrid figures reinvents the language of street art, infusing it with ritualistic depth. This print, although a static object, hums with movement and metaphysical energy, suggesting both a literal and symbolic storm gathering force. It serves not only as a visual spectacle but as a portal into a cosmology that exists between ancestors and androids, gods and avatars, tradition and transcendence.

  • El Trooper Star Wars Silkscreen Print by JC Rivera

JC Rivera El Trooper Star Wars Silkscreen Print by JC Rivera

El Trooper Star Wars Silkscreen Print by JC Rivera Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Screenprint Artwork. 2013 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print Star Wars Sci-Fi Movie Storm Trooper Mask Face Stylized. El Trooper Star Wars Silkscreen Print by JC Rivera El Trooper Star Wars silkscreen print by JC Rivera is a striking fusion of sci-fi iconography and street pop art & graffiti artwork. This hand-pulled screenprint, produced in 2013, transforms the classic stormtrooper helmet into an intricate, stylized composition filled with bold colors and elaborate patterns. Signed and numbered in a limited edition of 50, this 18x24-inch artwork merges the recognizable aesthetic of Star Wars with the raw energy and cultural influences of contemporary urban art. Rivera’s signature artistic approach is evident in the design, making this piece a standout within both the Star Wars and street art communities. The Artistic Composition and Cultural Influences Rivera’s interpretation of the stormtrooper helmet departs from its traditional sleek, monochromatic look, instead infusing it with organic, swirling patterns that evoke the feel of hand-carved masks and folk art. The vivid color palette, featuring deep reds, yellows, greens, and blacks, adds a dynamic, almost tribal energy to the piece. The intricate detailing within the contours of the helmet mimics the ornate patterns often found in tattoo art and indigenous design, creating a piece that is both familiar and completely reimagined. The use of strong black outlines and layered inks gives the print a textured quality that reflects the physicality of hand-pulled screenprinting. This method enhances the artwork’s boldness, ensuring that each line and pattern stands out against the fine art paper. The result is a stormtrooper helmet that feels less like a piece of sci-fi armor and more like a living, breathing entity—an emblem of rebellion, culture, and artistic evolution. Rivera’s choice to reinterpret this iconic character through the lens of street pop art & graffiti artwork elevates it beyond fan art, positioning it within a larger artistic movement that embraces reinvention and cultural storytelling. Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Meets Star Wars Star Wars has long been a source of inspiration in street pop art & graffiti artwork, with its themes of resistance, authoritarianism, and individualism resonating deeply within urban art culture. The stormtrooper, as a symbol of faceless conformity, is frequently reimagined by street artists seeking to subvert its original meaning. Rivera’s version of the helmet takes this idea further by transforming it into something highly personal and expressive. The ornamental patterns covering the faceplate reject uniformity, suggesting a break from control and an embrace of artistic freedom. The use of street pop art techniques, including high-contrast color blocking and stylized linework, connects this piece to the larger graffiti and street art tradition. The stormtrooper helmet, originally designed to be void of emotion, is now alive with character, reflecting the essence of rebellion found both in the Star Wars universe and in the urban art movement. Rivera’s reinterpretation allows the viewer to see the stormtrooper not as an anonymous soldier, but as an individual entity, filled with identity and purpose. The Collectibility and Impact of the Limited Edition Print As part of a limited edition of only 50, El Trooper Star Wars silkscreen print is a highly sought-after piece among collectors of both Star Wars memorabilia and contemporary street pop art & graffiti artwork. The 18x24-inch format allows for Rivera’s intricate details to be fully appreciated, while the hand-pulled screenprinting process ensures that each piece retains a unique, tactile quality. The rarity of this print adds to its desirability, making it not just a work of art but a statement piece that bridges the gap between pop culture and fine art. JC Rivera’s ability to fuse sci-fi iconography with street pop art aesthetics showcases his skill in pushing artistic boundaries. By transforming a universally recognized symbol into something deeply personal and culturally resonant, he challenges the viewer to reconsider the role of pop culture within contemporary urban art. This print is not just a tribute to Star Wars—it is a testament to the power of artistic reinvention, proving that even the most established imagery can be reshaped through the lens of street art.

  • Speedy On Adderall Blotter Paper Archival Print by Ben Frost

Ben Frost Speedy On Adderall Blotter Paper Archival Print by Ben Frost

Speedy On Adderall Blotter Paper Archival Print by Ben Frost Limited Edition Fine Art Archival Pigment Print Art on Perforated Blotter Paper. 2023 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Archival Pigment Print on Perforated Blotter Paper Size: 7.5 x 7.5 Inches Release: April 19, 2023 Speedy Gonzales Looney Tunes Limited blotter editions are hand-perforated by Zane Kesey. The "Speedy On Adderall Blotter Paper Archival Print" is another provocative piece by contemporary artist Ben Frost, known for his critical and vibrant works that often incorporate elements of pop culture and consumerism. Released alongside its counterpart on April 19, 2023, this limited edition piece similarly presents a stark commentary on the intersection of medication, in this case, Adderall, and cartoon characters, with Speedy Gonzales of Looney Tunes fame taking the spotlight. Limited to a mere 100 signed and numbered editions, this artwork is printed on 7.5 x 7.5 inches perforated blotter paper, a material choice that is emblematic of Frost's distinctive approach to art creation. The medium is particularly notable for its historical association with the distribution of substances, thereby intensifying the print's dialogue about pharmaceutical consumption and its prevalence in society. Speedy Gonzales, the "fastest mouse in all Mexico," is a fitting character for this work, bringing into focus the drug's intended effects on attention and speed of cognitive processes. By placing this animated icon on a background that mimics a prescription for Adderall, a medication used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy, Frost not only showcases his hallmark juxtaposition of innocence with more adult themes but also casts a light on the sometimes frivolous use of prescription stimulants in today's fast-paced lifestyle. Each print is hand-perforated by Zane Kesey, adding a layer of authenticity and craft that contrasts with the otherwise mass-produced nature of the subjects depicted. In the realms of pop, street, and graffiti art, Frost's work is both a critique and a celebration of the culture it represents. This piece, much like other works by the artist, invites viewers to question the narratives fed to us by the media and pharmaceutical companies and encourages a dialogue on the cultural implications of these narratives. "Speedy On Adderall" is more than just a piece of fine art; it is a cultural statement, encapsulating concerns about mental health, the ethics of drug use, and the pervasive nature of animated characters in shaping our understanding of the world. Collectors and enthusiasts who acquire this print not only get a unique piece of art but also engage with the broader conversations that are central to Frost's artistic agenda.

Focusing on the people and the cars in Jungle Boogie, The Perez Bros highlights the social dynamics of lowrider gatherings, where friends, family, and car enthusiasts come together to celebrate their shared love of custom cars and street culture. Mexico as a Vibrant Canvas for Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork

Mexico has emerged as a global epicenter for Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, reflecting the country’s deep cultural heritage and contemporary urban expression. The streets of cities like Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Guadalajara serve as dynamic canvases for artists who blend traditional Mexican motifs with modern artistic techniques. Murals, graffiti, and street art have long been a part of Mexico’s cultural identity, rooted in a history of public art that dates back to the Mexican Muralism movement of the early 20th century. This legacy lives on in contemporary works that challenge societal norms, honor cultural traditions, and celebrate the vibrant energy of Mexican life.

The Influence of Mexican Muralism on Modern Street Art

Mexican Muralism, spearheaded by artists like Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco, set the stage for public art as a means of storytelling and political commentary. Their large-scale murals, which often depicted themes of social justice, revolution, and indigenous heritage, continue to inspire modern graffiti artists and street art practitioners in Mexico. This influence is evident in the bold use of color, symbolic imagery, and narrative-driven compositions that characterize much of Mexico’s contemporary street art. The tradition of addressing political and social issues through public art has been embraced by graffiti artists who use urban spaces to give voice to marginalized communities.

The Intersection of Traditional Culture and Modern Techniques

Mexican street art is a unique blend of traditional cultural elements and modern artistic styles. Indigenous symbols, folkloric themes, and pre-Columbian iconography often appear alongside contemporary graphic elements, spray paint techniques, and stencil art. Artists such as Saner and Sego have gained international recognition for their ability to seamlessly merge these influences, creating works that are both deeply rooted in Mexican heritage and reflective of global artistic trends. The use of vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and dynamic compositions makes Mexican street art instantly recognizable, while its cultural references give it a profound sense of identity.

Mexico City as a Global Street Art Capital

Mexico City, in particular, has become a hub for Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork, attracting both local and international artists. Neighborhoods like Roma and Condesa are adorned with murals and graffiti that transform the urban landscape into an open-air gallery. Events such as the All City Canvas festival have further solidified the city’s reputation as a global street art destination, bringing together artists from around the world to create large-scale public artworks. These efforts have not only beautified the city but have also fostered a sense of community and dialogue, using art as a tool for cultural exchange and social engagement. The vibrancy and diversity of Mexico’s street art scene ensure its continued influence on both local and international artistic movements. Graffiti and street art have been forms of visual expression for decades, allowing individuals to convey their messages and ideas through public spaces. One of the most prominent themes in graffiti art and street art is cultural influence, and Mexico has been a significant contributor to this movement. The rich history, vibrant culture, and influential people of Mexico have inspired artists around the world to create works that pay homage to this country's unique and captivating qualities. Mexico has a long history of art, dating back to the pre-Columbian era, with many famous artists emerging from the country in modern times, including Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and David Alfaro Siqueiros. This rich artistic heritage has provided an abundant source of inspiration for graffiti artists and street artists around the world, who have drawn from Mexico's art and culture to create new and exciting works of their own. One of the most common ways that Mexico has influenced graffiti art and street art is through the use of traditional Mexican symbols and motifs.

The country's indigenous culture is full of symbols that carry deep meaning, such as the Aztec calendar, the Mayan glyph system, and the iconic images of La Catrina, the skull-faced woman often associated with the Day of the Dead. These symbols have been incorporated into countless graffiti murals and street art pieces around the world, allowing artists to connect with Mexican culture and share its powerful imagery with a wider audience. Beyond traditional symbols, Mexican history and culture have also inspired many graffiti artists and street artists to explore themes of social justice and political activism. The country has a complex history of colonization and revolution, with many struggles for equality and human rights still ongoing today. Graffiti and street art have been powerful tools for expressing these struggles and raising awareness of important issues.

For example, many artists have used murals and graffiti art to protest against police brutality and political corruption, often incorporating the images of famous Mexican activists and revolutionaries, such as Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa. Mexico's rich street culture and music scene have also influenced the graffiti art and street art world. Mexico City, in particular, has a thriving street art scene, with countless murals and graffiti works adorning the city's walls and buildings. This vibrant and diverse culture has inspired many artists around the world, who have drawn on Mexican street art and music to create their own unique works. For example, the iconic Mexican street artist Sego has become internationally renowned for his bold and colorful murals, which often incorporate traditional Mexican imagery and themes. In recent years, Mexico has also emerged as a hub for contemporary street art and graffiti.
