"The title of this image comes from a line in the poem, "Painted Landscapes Deceive Me -- Dancing Between Angels and Angles". This was a reference to Marie Antoinette arriving in Strasbourg when she first became queen and the faux painted landscapes placed outside her window, created to make her feel welcome. A further reference to De Stijl and Aubette Dance Hall with the angled and rectilinear lines the movement was known for. Along with its proximity to the Cathedral and the angels that grace its walls. Bubbles sort of fly loosely and dance through space, somewhat the antithesis of what De Stijl conveyed but a nice reference to movement. We liked the idea of the girl tearing away the perceptions built up around her while trying not to lose herself." -Faile Artistic Narratives in Motion: The Tale of "Dancing Between Angels/Love Stories B-Side" by Faile "Dancing Between Angels/Love Stories B-Side," a compelling artwork by the artist collective Faile, is a testament to the intricate layering and storytelling inherent in street pop art & graffiti artwork. This limited edition piece, a hand-painted varied edition of 22, is a 24-color hand-pulled silkscreen print embellished with acrylic, silkscreen ink, and spray paint on deckled 310 gsm Coventry Rag paper. Spanning 28 x 40 inches, each print is signed, stamped, and embossed and carries a unique narrative that intertwines historical references with a modern artistic lexicon. "The title of this image comes from a line in the poem, "Painted Landscapes Deceive Me -- Dancing Between Angels and Angles." This was a reference to Marie Antoinette arriving in Strasbourg when she first became queen and the faux painted landscapes placed outside her window, created to make her feel welcome. A further reference to De Stijl and Aubette Dance Hall with the angled and rectilinear lines the movement was known for. Its proximity to the Cathedral and the angels grace its walls. Bubbles fly loosely and dance through space, somewhat the antithesis of what De Stijl conveyed but a nice reference to movement. We liked the idea of the girl tearing away the perceptions built up around her while trying not to lose herself." -Faile. Deconstructing Historical Illusions: Faile's Interpretive Canvas The narrative behind "Dancing Between Angels/Love Stories B-Side" draws from a rich tapestry of historical and artistic references. Inspired by a poem, the title alludes to the deceptive pastoral landscapes presented to Marie Antoinette upon her arrival in Strasbourg, designed to create an illusion of welcome and grandeur. Faile extends this metaphor to explore the concepts of perception and self within the framework of pop and street art. The work visually explores tearing away layers of pretense, a spirited dance between reality and artifice. The piece also pays homage to De Stijl, a Dutch artistic movement emphasizing abstraction and geometric forms. The sharp angles and rectilinear lines characteristic of De Stijl are present in the artwork, juxtaposed with the organic forms of bubbles and the fluidity of the central figure. This contrast is a deliberate nod to movement and dynamism, challenging the rigidity of De Stijl with the fleeting dance of bubbles through space. Movement and Metaphor: Faile's Fusion of Dance and Art At the heart of Faile's creation is the depiction of a female figure caught tearing through the facades surrounding her. This act is literal and symbolic, a dance of liberation that reveals the layers beneath the surface. The figure's upward reach and poised legs evoke a sense of balletic grace, suggesting that tearing away deception is as elegant as forceful. The angels and architectural elements referenced in the artwork serve to anchor the piece within a broader historical narrative, connecting the transient nature of street art with the permanence of cultural heritage. Including these elements creates a dialogue between the past and the present, infusing the work with a sense of timelessness. Visual Poetry: The Rhythmic Allure of Faile's Work "Dancing Between Angels/Love Stories B-Side" is, in essence, a visual poem that speaks to the heart of street pop art & graffiti artwork. It is a dance of colors and forms, a rhythmic composition that transcends the confines of its medium. Faile's work captures the spirit of pop art's dialogue with popular culture, blending it with the subversive edge of street art to create something wholly new and deeply resonant. Each print of this limited edition is a narrative fragment, inviting viewers to engage with the artwork on multiple levels. The dance depicted in the print is not just physical; it is an emotional and psychological journey, a dance of the soul that mirrors the complexity and vibrancy of the human experience. In the diverse world of street pop art & graffiti artwork, "Dancing Between Angels/Love Stories B-Side" by Faile is a powerful expression of the genre's capacity for storytelling and emotional depth. It stands as a reminder that art can be a vehicle for examining our perceptions, tearing away the layers that obscure truth, and celebrating the liberating power of dance and movement.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Moonage Daydream Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Moonage Daydream 5-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Speckletone Art Paper by Artist Shepard Fairey OBEY. 2022 Shepard Fairey Numbered Limited Edition of 1910 18x24 inches. Screenprint on thick cream Speckletone paper. "David Bowie is one of my favorite musicians not only because so many of his songs possess magic, but also because he was creatively fearless and perpetually collaborative. I first discovered David Bowie in 1983 when his Let’s Dance album came out, and its hits like “Let’s Dance,” “China Girl,” and “Modern Love” were getting radio play. I became a die-hard Bowie fan once I picked up Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars at a flea market a few years later. Ziggy Stardust is one of my favorite albums ever. It makes sense that it was Bowie’s breakthrough album, not just because his newly adopted androgynous glam image was provocative and mesmerizing, but because the songs on the album are incredible! At first, my favorites were obvious rockers like “Suffragette City” and “Ziggy Stardust,” but over the years, folkier songs like “Soul Love” and “Starman” really grew on me. It’s almost impossible to pick a favorite Bowie song from Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, much less Bowie’s entire catalog, but if I had to, I’d pick “Moonage Daydream.” –Shepard Shepard Fairey Moonage Daydream Silkscreen Print Moonage Daydream is a 2022 five-color hand-pulled silkscreen print by Shepard Fairey that honors David Bowie through the lens of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The portrait captures Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust era, presenting him with stylized contours, cosmic backdrop, and sweeping graphic arcs that suggest motion, sound, and theatrical transformation. The palette of magenta, gold, black, and muted teal reinforces the glam rock atmosphere while maintaining the bold, poster-driven clarity that defines Fairey’s visual language. Printed on thick cream Speckletone fine art paper, the texture enhances the layered inks and gives the piece a tactile presence consistent with traditional screenprinting practices. David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust, and Cultural Impact David Bowie was born David Robert Jones in 1947 in the United Kingdom and died in 2016. He remains one of the most influential musicians and visual innovators of the twentieth century. The song Moonage Daydream appears on the 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, a landmark release that introduced Bowie’s androgynous alien rock persona to a global audience. The track is widely recognized for its dynamic instrumentation and lyrical futurism, combining theatrical performance with experimental sound. Fairey’s portrait draws from photographic outtakes associated with the Ziggy Stardust era, translating Bowie’s photogenic intensity into a graphic composition that balances reverence with reinterpretation. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Bowie’s boundary-pushing identity aligns naturally with Fairey’s long-standing interest in cultural icons who challenge convention and expand artistic vocabulary. Edition Details and Artistic Significance This 18 by 24 inch silkscreen print is signed and numbered in a limited edition of 1910. The five-color hand-pulled process requires precise registration to achieve the smooth gradients and bold separations that define the portrait. The cosmic star field background and flowing graphic elements reinforce the sci-fi undertones of the original song while situating Bowie within a timeless visual space. Shepard Fairey’s real name is Frank Shepard Fairey. He was born in 1970 in the United States and remains active. Known for merging music, activism, and graphic design into cohesive visual statements, Fairey approaches Moonage Daydream as both tribute and reinterpretation. As a work of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this print connects the rebellious energy of glam rock with the visual immediacy of contemporary screenprinted iconography, making it a significant collectible for admirers of both Bowie and Fairey’s socially engaged artistic practice.

Florence Aubenas AP Artist Proof Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY x Blek le Rat Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. AP Artist Proof 2008 Signed by Shepard Fairey & Blek le Rat & Marked AP, Limited Edition Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print Shepard Fairey x Blek le Rat Florence Aubenas AP Silkscreen Print 2008 The Florence Aubenas AP Artist Proof silkscreen print from 2008 is a powerful collaborative work by Shepard Fairey, known globally as OBEY, and French stencil art pioneer Blek le Rat. Measuring 18 x 24 inches, this hand-pulled silkscreen on fine art paper exists in an extremely rare Artist Proof edition, each marked “AP” and signed by both artists. Beyond its rarity, the subject matter and dual authorship make it one of the most politically and historically significant works within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Subject and Symbolism The work features a portrait of Florence Aubenas, the French journalist abducted in Iraq in 2005 and later released after months in captivity. She is depicted standing calmly against the wall of Place Saint-Michel in Paris, her figure stenciled in stark black and white, contrasting with the detailed urban setting. This juxtaposition symbolizes both her resilience and the precarious realities faced by journalists in war zones. By situating her image in a familiar Parisian context, the print speaks to both the local and international dimensions of her story, grounding a global political issue in a recognizable urban landscape. Collaboration Between Generations Blek le Rat, born Xavier Prou in France in 1951, is widely acknowledged as one of the founders of stencil graffiti, with a career that began in the streets of Paris in the early 1980s. Shepard Fairey, born in 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina, rose to prominence through his OBEY campaign and later works addressing political and social justice issues. Their joint creation of Florence Aubenas bridges the gap between the origins of stencil graffiti in Europe and the evolution of politically driven street art in the United States. The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to using art as a form of activism and public awareness. Artist Proof Rarity and Legacy Artist Proofs, typically reserved for artists and collaborators outside of the standard numbered edition, carry heightened value due to their scarcity and direct connection to the creators. With dual signatures and the AP designation, this edition of Florence Aubenas stands apart as a rare collector’s item. More than a collectible, however, the print underscores how street art can amplify pressing social issues, using public imagery and fine art techniques to spark dialogue. The Florence Aubenas AP silkscreen remains a landmark example of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork where artistic expression, political urgency, and historical moment converge.

  • Sirens Of The Night White Silkscreen Print by Cleon Peterson

Cleon Peterson Sirens Of The Night White Silkscreen Print by Cleon Peterson

Sirens Of The Night White Limited Edition Hand Pulled 1-Color Screenprint Print on 290gsm Arches Rag Paper with Deckled Edges by Cleon Peterson Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 24x18 Printed on 290gsm Coventry Rag paper with deckled edges. Sirens Of The Night White by Cleon Peterson – 1-Color Silkscreen in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Sirens Of The Night White is a 2022 hand-pulled silkscreen print by American artist Cleon Peterson, known for his graphic depictions of violence, power, and resistance. This limited edition artwork measures 24 x 18 inches and is printed on 290gsm Coventry rag paper with deckled edges, combining street-level symbolism with fine art craftsmanship. Limited to 100 signed and numbered prints, the piece features a dynamic white silhouette of a nude woman on horseback, swinging a golden sword amidst a storm of jagged, electrified forms. The figure, both elegant and commanding, charges forward against a pitch-black backdrop, surrounded by lightning-like patterns that suggest chaos, rage, and transformation. The striking use of white and gold on black intensifies the impact of the composition, transforming a classical equestrian pose into a modern mythology of power and defiance. Feminine Force and Symbolic Weaponry In Sirens Of The Night White, Peterson reimagines the female form not as a passive muse but as an active embodiment of disruption. The central figure rides bareback, sword raised, poised in a moment of deliberate motion. Her nudity does not imply vulnerability but instead emphasizes fearlessness and purity of purpose. The minimal linework allows the viewer to focus on the rhythm and energy of the pose, while the controlled use of gold in the sword and lightning accents infuses the piece with spiritual and revolutionary undertones. The storm that surrounds her is not one of destruction but of awakening, a visual metaphor for resistance in the face of oppressive structures. Her presence becomes a call to arms, confronting viewers with a raw form of feminine agency rarely seen in such stylized modern iconography. Cleon Peterson’s Allegorical Combat in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Cleon Peterson is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work addresses themes of brutality, lawlessness, and the collapse of social order. Through minimalist, silhouette-based figures often caught in ritualistic violence, he creates a visual world where power is always contested and morality is ambiguous. Sirens Of The Night White continues his exploration of domination and rebellion but through a more mythic lens. Within the tradition of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Peterson’s aesthetic pulls from ancient reliefs, propaganda posters, and graphic design, reconfiguring them into stark allegories for the modern psyche. His visual narratives reject the sanitized optimism of traditional pop art, instead embracing the darker currents that shape contemporary life. This print stands as a meditation on both destruction and rebirth—told not through words, but through form, color, and motion. Print Quality and Collector Value This silkscreen edition is meticulously printed on heavyweight 290gsm Coventry rag paper, a premium surface known for its durability and rich texture. The deckled edges give each print a handmade, archival quality that reinforces its position as fine art. As a limited edition of 100, each print is signed and numbered by Cleon Peterson, ensuring its authenticity and collectibility. The monochromatic palette, accented by gold, ensures that the piece can hold visual presence in any setting while carrying deep conceptual weight. For collectors of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Sirens Of The Night White represents not just a work of visual power, but a statement of urgency, resistance, and unapologetic force—etched in stark contrast and timeless symbolism.

Ritual Device Fueled Bottom July 29th 1995 San Fransisco California Bottom of the Hill.  Frank Kozik Ritual Device Fueled Bottom 1995 Artist Proof Silkscreen Frank Kozik, born in Spain in 1962 and active primarily in the United States until his passing in 2023, was a pivotal figure in the transformation of gig posters into collectible Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The Ritual Device Fueled Bottom silkscreen print from July 29, 1995 was created for a performance at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, California. This hand-pulled silkscreen on fine art paper measures approximately 16 x 22 inches and this example is an Artist Proof limited to 100, signed and numbered by Kozik. Artist Proof editions are produced in smaller quantities separate from the standard run and are closely associated with the artist’s personal archive and print approval process. During the mid-1990s, Kozik’s disciplined approach to silkscreen production helped legitimize underground concert posters as enduring fine art multiples within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Horror Comic Influence and Graphic Intensity The composition features a wide-eyed figure shielding her face, rendered in a bold horror-comic style with dramatic linework and saturated color contrasts. The bleeding reds, deep blacks, and electric yellows create a visceral atmosphere that mirrors the raw energy of 1990s alternative and punk performances. The Ritual Device title dominates the upper register in heavy gradient lettering, while the event details anchor the lower portion in strong block typography. Kozik frequently drew from mid-century pulp comics, exploitation film posters, and underground zine aesthetics, and those influences are clearly visible in the exaggerated expression and confrontational imagery. This visual language aligns seamlessly with Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, where immediacy, shock value, and high-impact design function as both promotional strategy and cultural commentary. San Francisco Poster Culture and Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork San Francisco played a significant role in the 1990s poster resurgence, and venues such as Bottom of the Hill became central hubs for independent music scenes. Kozik’s posters for these events documented a thriving underground culture while elevating the visual format through meticulous hand-pulled silkscreen craftsmanship. By signing and numbering the Artist Proof edition of 100, Kozik reinforced the print’s collectibility and archival value. Works like Ritual Device Fueled Bottom stand as historically important examples of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, capturing the convergence of live music, bold graphic storytelling, and limited edition printmaking that defined a transformative era in contemporary poster art.

  • Modular Silkscreen Print by Add Fuel x Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Modular Silkscreen Print by Add Fuel x Shepard Fairey- OBEY

Modular Silkscreen Print by Add Fuel x Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 500 Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print "Diogo Machado aka ADD FUEL’s art functions on several levels literally and metaphorically. His pieces master the aesthetics of traditional Portuguese tile work while adding his own playful character illustrations subversively woven into the designs. These two seemingly disparate styles are so elegantly blended together that discovering the oddity within the harmony is both bizarre and joyful. The actual and faux rips ADD FUEL incorporates into his art are more than just a nod to paper, the common material of modern street art, they’re also a provocative bit of visual dissonance since tiles don’t rip. Despite the incongruity of tiles and rips, ADD FUEL’s visually seductive compositions evoke a sense of time passed and a story behind each layer." -Shepard Fairey- OBEY Modular by Add Fuel x Shepard Fairey – Obey Collaborative Silkscreen in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Modular is a 2022 collaborative silkscreen print created by Portuguese artist Diogo Machado, known as Add Fuel, and American artist Shepard Fairey, the founder of OBEY. Hand-pulled on cream Speckletone fine art paper and released in a signed and numbered limited edition of 500, this 18 x 24 inch artwork exemplifies the synergy between ornamental heritage and contemporary visual resistance. The print layers traditional azulejo tile motifs, signature to Add Fuel’s practice, with Fairey’s distinct iconography and compositional balance. Faux paper rips tear through the layers, revealing dynamic juxtapositions of classic pattern, modern pop abstraction, and a central floral mandala infused with Fairey’s visual politics. The piece vibrates with blue, red, and white tonalities, echoing the dual themes of beauty and disruption at the core of their shared visual vocabulary. Tile Motifs, Illusion, and Layered History Add Fuel’s approach to traditional Portuguese tile work is at once reverent and subversive. By reinterpreting the symmetrical elegance of ceramic motifs with unexpected figures and graphic elements, he modernizes a centuries-old medium while injecting it with conceptual humor and narrative depth. In Modular, the faux rips slice through the precision of the tiles to expose underlying designs, mimicking the distressed layering often found in urban environments. These rips are visual contradictions—tiles do not tear—yet they ground the piece in the material reality of street posters, wheatpastes, and handbills. The effect suggests a story unfolding across time, where aesthetics are built upon each other, scraped away, and reassembled to create a living history. This illusion invites the viewer to peel back their own assumptions about permanence, tradition, and identity. Shepard Fairey’s Integration and Urban Influence Shepard Fairey’s signature influence is woven into the modular structure of the work through the inclusion of bold geometric symbology and red-toned central focal points. Known for his OBEY Giant campaign and the Hope poster for Barack Obama, Fairey brings a sharply honed graphic instinct to this collaboration. His presence in Modular is not dominant but seamlessly integrated, allowing the dialogue between his political design language and Add Fuel’s ornamental fluency to unfold in harmony. The composition carries Fairey’s commitment to layering, repetition, and symbolic forms of power, contributing to the conceptual weight of the piece without overpowering the decorative base. It is a rare fusion of design-minded street art and historic pattern making, emblematic of Fairey’s mission to preserve message within form. Craftsmanship and Concept in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork This silkscreen print was meticulously crafted using multiple layers of ink on Speckletone paper, a choice that echoes the street origins of both artists’ practices while elevating the final result to gallery standards. Modular’s formal tension between classic ornament and pop symbolism makes it a quintessential example of contemporary Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. It reflects an evolving aesthetic where collaboration expands meaning, and where cultural pasts are not preserved in silence but animated through visual intervention. For collectors and viewers, Modular offers a tactile and symbolic experience—a print that holds the precision of tradition and the urgency of the present in perfect contradiction. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of surface, story, and subversion.

  • Faile Girl HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Faile

Faile Faile Girl HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Faile

Faile Girl HPM Acrylic Silkscreen Print by Faile Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2007 Signed & Numbered Acrylic HPM Embellished Limited Edition of 16 Artwork Size 17.9x24 Faile is a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil (born 1975) and Patrick Miller (born 1976). Initially founded in 1999, the duo is known for their wide-ranging multimedia practice, recognized for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage. Working in the vein of popular culture and frequently referencing mass consumerism, Faile's work encompasses a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, silkscreening, stencils, stickers, sculpture, and more. Their art has been exhibited in a wide array of contexts, from city walls and lamp posts to galleries and museums around the world, such as Perry Rubenstein Gallery, New York; Dallas Contemporary, Dallas; and Palais de Tokyo, Paris. The name "Faile" is an anagram of "A life", which signifies the duo's shared philosophy towards their work. They are known to embrace the dichotomies of art and popular culture, acknowledging the fluidity and ubiquity of imagery in the modern world. HPM, or Hand-Painted Multiples, is a term used to describe a specific method of silkscreen printing. In HPM silkscreen printing, each piece of an edition is individually embellished or altered by the artist, thereby making each print within the edition unique. This technique can often be seen in street art and other forms of contemporary art. Silkscreen printing, also known as screen printing, is a process that involves pushing ink through a stenciled mesh screen to create a printed design. It's a popular technique used in a variety of different industries, such as fine art, fashion, and marketing, due to its versatility in adapting to different materials and surfaces. Artists like Faile often utilize HPM silkscreen printing to create limited editions of their work. This method allows them to produce a series of pieces that maintain a consistent theme or image, but with individual variations that make each piece unique. This can range from changes in color, to additional elements, to hand-finishing details. This results in each print being not just a copy, but a unique work of art.

  • 24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print by Cryptik

Cryptik 24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print by Cryptik

24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print by Cryptik Hand-Pulled on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Screenprint Artwork. 2025 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 117 Artwork Size 17x24.5 Silkscreen Print in Black. Cryptik 24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print The 24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print by Cryptik stands as a disciplined and meditative example of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork rooted in calligraphic tradition and contemporary urban philosophy. The composition presents a grid of stylized letterforms rendered in black ink against a light ground, emphasizing restraint, balance, and repetition rather than spectacle. Each character is treated as an independent visual object while remaining part of a unified system, reinforcing the idea that virtue is cumulative and practiced rather than performative. The black colorway heightens contrast and sharpness, allowing the intricate line work and ornamental flourishes to command attention without reliance on color symbolism. This approach aligns with Cryptik’s long-standing focus on inner development, ethical reflection, and spiritual discipline expressed through street-informed aesthetics. Virtue Systems and Calligraphic Structure The 24 Virtues concept draws from historical moral frameworks found in Eastern philosophy and religious scholarship, where virtues function as behavioral anchors rather than abstract ideals. Cryptik translates these concepts into a visual language influenced by sacred scripts, manuscript traditions, and graffiti hand styles. Each glyph is meticulously structured, balancing weight, negative space, and directional flow in a way that reflects both mastery and restraint. The repetition across the grid reinforces the idea of practice and discipline, echoing how virtues are cultivated through consistency rather than isolated acts. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this piece resists the impulsive or chaotic mark-making often associated with the street, instead asserting that control, patience, and intentionality are equally radical artistic statements. Cryptik Background and Artistic Position Cryptik is a contemporary street and studio artist based in the United States. His real name has not been publicly disclosed, which aligns with his practice of prioritizing message and philosophy over personal identity. Cryptik is alive and actively producing work. Emerging from graffiti culture, his work evolved toward spiritually focused compositions that merge calligraphy, symbolism, and ethical inquiry. He is widely recognized for translating complex philosophical systems into accessible visual forms without diluting their seriousness. Within the broader Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork movement, Cryptik occupies a distinct position that bridges street practice with contemplative art traditions, creating works that function as both visual statements and tools for reflection. Printmaking Process and Cultural Value This hand-pulled silkscreen print reflects a commitment to traditional printmaking methods, where precision and material awareness are essential. The physicality of the silkscreen process reinforces the themes of discipline and repetition present in the imagery itself. Each print in the limited edition is signed and numbered, reinforcing its status as a carefully produced artwork rather than a mass reproduction. The scale of the piece allows viewers to engage closely with each form while still perceiving the grid as a cohesive whole. As a piece of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, the 24 Virtues Black Silkscreen Print functions not only as a collectible object but as a visual framework for ethical consideration, making it especially resonant for collectors who value concept, craftsmanship, and cultural depth.

  • CamoSplash Orange Yellow Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta

Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta CamoSplash Orange Yellow Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta

CamoSplash Orange Yellow Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash- Thierry Guetta Hand-Pulled 8-Color Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 50 Artwork Size 38x38 Thumb Print & Date on Back Part of the CamoSplash Series  CamoSplash Orange Yellow Silkscreen Print by Mr Brainwash CamoSplash Orange Yellow is a hand-pulled 8-color silkscreen print created in 2022 by the French-born artist Thierry Guetta, internationally known under the moniker Mr Brainwash. This signed and numbered limited edition artwork consists of only 50 prints, each measuring 38 by 38 inches and printed on premium fine art paper. The reverse side of each piece features the artist’s signature thumbprint and the date, affirming its authenticity and collectible status within the Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork genre. Bold Abstraction Within Urban Language Mr Brainwash’s CamoSplash series represents a unique approach to visual camouflage by fusing spontaneous street aesthetics with highly structured color theory. This specific edition features an energetic composition of bright orange, vibrant yellow, and pale blue, delivered in a splatter technique that echoes the raw energy of urban walls. These colors appear layered, almost like a digital glitch translated into analog form through manual silkscreen methods. Despite its chaos, the artwork communicates rhythm and harmony. The visual noise acts as both a camouflage and a statement, blurring perception while simultaneously demanding attention. It demonstrates Guetta’s fascination with pop culture's overstimulation and the way modern society processes color, texture, and space in a post-digital age. Technique, Process, and Format Executed using eight individual silkscreen layers, the artwork displays intricate craftsmanship. Each layer required precision alignment to achieve the final output, where pigment meets paper with tactility and depth. Mr Brainwash uses a high-saturation ink blend that enhances the artwork’s visual intensity. The silkscreen technique allows for texture variability across each edition, ensuring that while the edition is limited to 50, each print contains subtle variations, lending a one-of-a-kind quality to each piece. The format’s 38x38 inch square ratio emphasizes symmetry while allowing the eye to travel freely in all directions without anchor, reinforcing the piece’s immersive, almost hypnotic experience. Placement in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Thierry Guetta’s artistic persona and body of work exist at the intersection of art spectacle and visual critique. His rise to prominence was propelled by his association with Banksy and the film Exit Through the Gift Shop, which introduced his confrontational yet celebratory style to global audiences. CamoSplash Orange Yellow encapsulates his ethos—where street art’s urgency meets pop art’s palette and scale. In the landscape of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, this piece represents the artist’s skill in manipulating abstraction as both a formal exercise and a cultural commentary. It is not simply about camouflage; it is about what society hides behind—the noise, the spectacle, the gloss, and the layers of color that make modern life both exciting and overwhelming. This print stands as a vibrant emblem of those contradictions.

The limited edition print, sized at an accessible 12x12 inches, reflects a meticulous process, ensuring each color is laid down with precision, resulting in a piece that pulsates with the energy of both the music it represents and the urban streets from which this art form originated. Jim Houser's Visual Interpretation of Rock Legacy The print was signed and marked 'PP' to denote its status as a Printer's Proof and stands out as a collector's item. Printer Proofs are traditionally proofs set aside for the printer's records. Still, in the art world, these proofs are often considered more valuable due to their rarity and the artist's direct involvement. The "Printers Select" suggests a choice cut, a piece that stands apart, often with unique traits that the standard edition prints do not possess. Houser's rendition of Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" is a tribute to the band and a statement piece that intersects the realms of music, pop art, and graffiti. Street Pop Art & Graffiti's Tribute to Icons By featuring "Black Sabbath" within the Street Pop Art and Graffiti context, Houser contributes to a long-standing tradition where these visual art forms often pay homage to cultural icons. This piece extends beyond mere representation, entering a dialogue with viewers about the impact of music on public consciousness and its interplay with the visual narratives found in urban environments. Houser's work, therefore, is not just an artistic creation; it is a historical node that connects the vibrancy of street art with the pulsating rhythms of Black Sabbath's music, capturing the ethos of an era in a single, bold statement of color and form. In the contemporary art scene, Jim Houser's "Black Sabbath Printers Select PP" is a vivid example of how street pop art and graffiti can encapsulate and celebrate musical heritage. Through its bold aesthetic and limited availability, this print continues to resonate with collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the convergence of sound and sight in the context of modern Street Pop Art and Graffiti.

Shows a Hand Removing Laws From A Brief Case Infering Wall Street Money Regulations. "Jamie has been one of my biggest influences, and I'm honored that we worked on some collaborative images for the show. The new images deal with the mutual interests of Jamie and I, addressing the timeless problems of corruption and wealth inequality, but tie into the current themes of Occupy Wall Street and the dead end of fossil fuel consumption." -Shepard Fairey. Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid: Art as Social Commentary In collaboration with Jamie Reid, the "Shoplifters Welcome Silkscreen Print" by Shepard Fairey is a powerful example of how street pop art and graffiti artwork can encapsulate and critique social and economic issues. This piece, a limited edition print, was created for the "Ragged Kingdom" exhibition from March 16 to April 14, 2012. It has become a significant work in street art for its bold political statement. The artwork depicts a hand removing a document labeled "MONEY" from a briefcase, a visual representation of deregulation, particularly within the context of Wall Street. This act is set against an offer for 'shoplifters,' a satirical nod to the notion that the financial elite operates under a different set of rules than the average person. The print's striking use of the phrase "THIS DECADE ONLY!" further emphasizes the timely nature of the message, suggesting a window of opportunity for unchecked financial behavior. Art Reflecting the Times: Occupy Wall Street and Beyond Shepard Fairey's statement about the collaboration with Jamie Reid highlights their shared focus on corruption and wealth inequality themes, notably echoed by the Occupy Wall Street movement. The movement, which started in 2011, brought widespread attention to these issues, and Fairey and Reid's work provided a visual commentary that resonated with the public sentiment of the time. The artwork not only represents the artists' perspectives but also serves as a historical marker of the socio-economic climate of the early 2010s. The "Shoplifters Welcome" print is a prime example of how street pop art and graffiti artwork can transcend the boundaries of traditional art by directly engaging with social commentary. Fairey, known for his provocative approach, and Reid, with his history of punk aesthetic, combine their styles to create a piece that is as aggressive as it is artistic. The limited edition nature of the print, signed and numbered by Fairey, adds to its allure as a collectible item, even as it challenges the structures of economic power. In creating this print, Fairey and Reid employ the aesthetic of propaganda, utilizing bold colors and stark contrasts to draw attention to their message. The choice of silkscreen printing, a technique closely associated with street art due to its mass production capabilities, further ties the work to the grassroots nature of its messages. It is a medium that allows the artwork to be disseminated widely, mirroring the spread of ideas central to movements like Occupy Wall Street. The "Shoplifters Welcome" print is a testament to the enduring power and relevance of street pop art and graffiti artwork in contemporary discourse. It is a reminder that art can be an intelligent tool for social critique, reflecting the issues of its time and prompting conversations that can lead to change. Through their collaborative efforts, Fairey and Reid have created more than just a visual piece; they have crafted a narrative that challenges viewers to consider the imagery's deeper implications and question the status quo.

Floral Takeover 2017 Red Cream Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled 2-Color on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. 2017 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 200 Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print "I'm always creating new patterns for my street installs and fine art pieces. I used to buy discontinued wallpaper, but now I design and print my own. These look nice as stand-alone prints, not just repeat patterns, so I'm releasing a 200-print edition of four versions. Buy a couch to match… coming soon… just kidding!" -Shepard Fairey- OBEY. Floral Takeover 2017 Red Cream by Shepard Fairey Floral Takeover 2017 Red Cream is a hand-pulled silkscreen print by Shepard Fairey, released in 2017 as part of a limited edition of 200. Printed in two colors on cream Speckletone fine art paper, the artwork measures 18 x 24 inches and is signed and numbered by the artist. The composition features an all-over floral pattern rendered in Fairey’s signature red, drawing inspiration from ornamental wallpaper, textile design, and historic decorative motifs. Pattern, Power, and Subversion At first glance, Floral Takeover appears purely decorative, but the repetition and scale transform the pattern into something more assertive. Fairey has long used pattern as a form of visual occupation, echoing his street practice of wheatpasting and large-scale installations. The floral imagery references traditional wallpaper and domestic design, yet its bold color and dense layout give it a confrontational presence. By elevating a repeat pattern into a standalone fine art print, Fairey challenges the boundary between decoration and statement, turning ornament into a vehicle for cultural takeover. Place Within the OBEY Body of Work This print belongs to a broader series in which Shepard Fairey explores pattern-making as both a design exercise and a conceptual tool. Originally developed for street installs, these patterns evolved into collectible fine art works that reflect his interest in propaganda aesthetics, repetition, and visual saturation. Floral Takeover 2017 Red Cream stands out for its balance of elegance and intensity, offering a quieter yet still commanding example of Fairey’s practice. As part of a four-version release, it has become a sought-after piece for collectors who appreciate the graphic and ornamental side of the OBEY canon.

Stencil FIne Art Graffiti Street Pop Artwork

Emergence and Influence of Silkscreen in Street Pop Art and Graffiti

Silkscreen printing is synonymous with vibrant versatility and has profoundly influenced street pop art and graffiti artwork. This method, also known as screen printing, involves pushing ink through a mesh screen onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. Its origins trace back to China during the Song Dynasty, but in the 20th century, silkscreen found its foothold in the art world. The technique gained prominence with the rise of the pop art movement, with artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein using it to create their iconic works. These artists utilized silkscreen to replicate and manipulate images from popular culture, a practice that resonated powerfully within the burgeoning street art scene. In the context of street pop art and graffiti artwork, silkscreen printing has been embraced for its ability to efficiently reproduce images, allowing artists to share their messages widely and quickly. The essence of street art and graffiti lies in their accessibility and often transient nature. Using silkscreen techniques, street artists can produce multiple copies of their work, extending their reach beyond the physical limitations of street walls and into galleries, exhibitions, and private collections. This has played a critical role in the democratization of art, making it accessible and relatable to a broader audience. Silkscreen printing allows for the layering of colors and textures, offering street artists a unique way to add depth and complexity to their work.

Techniques and Evolution in Street Art

The use of silkscreen in street pop art and graffiti has evolved over the years, with artists continually experimenting with new methods and materials. This evolution has led to a diverse range of styles and techniques within the genre. Some artists combine silkscreen with other mediums like spray paint or hand-drawn elements, combining traditional and contemporary methods. The flexibility of silkscreen printing also enables artists to play with scale, creating everything from small prints to large murals. This versatility has made it an essential tool in the street artist's repertoire, bridging the illicit thrill of graffiti and the more accepted domain of fine art. The cultural impact of silkscreen fine art prints in street pop art and graffiti is profound. These artworks often serve as social commentary, reflecting the artist's perspective on politics, societal norms, or consumer culture. The ability of silkscreen prints to be mass-produced has also played a crucial role in disseminating these messages, allowing them to reach and engage a wider audience. This art form has challenged traditional perceptions of fine art and given marginalized communities and viewpoints a voice. The recognition and commercial success of these prints have further validated street art as a legitimate and vital artistic expression.

Future Trajectories in Artistic Expression

Looking ahead, the future of silkscreen in street pop art and graffiti artwork appears vibrant and dynamic. The intersection of digital technology with traditional silkscreen techniques opens new frontiers for artistic expression. Artists are now exploring digital silkscreen printing, combining the precision of digital design with the tactile quality of screen printing. This hybrid approach expands street artists' creative possibilities, allowing them to experiment with more complex and detailed imagery. As the boundaries between street art, pop art, and fine art continue to blur, silkscreen printing remains a vital tool, enabling artists to push the limits of creativity and expression. Silkscreen fine art prints have significantly impacted the development and evolution of street pop art and graffiti. This medium has provided artists with a powerful means to reproduce and disseminate their work, bridging the gap between street art's ephemeral nature and fine art's enduring quality. As the art world continues to evolve, the role of silkscreen in street art and graffiti will undoubtedly remain pivotal, driving innovation and artistic exploration in the years to come.
