Tim Conlon
Tim Conlon is an American contemporary artist, known for his graffiti and street art. Born in 1974 in Washington D.C., he began creating graffiti in the late 1980s and early 1990s, becoming a prominent figure in the street art scene. He is particularly renowned for his large-scale murals that blend graffiti lettering with realistic train paintings, paying homage to the history of graffiti on freight trains. Conlon's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and galleries worldwide, including the "Art in the Streets" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles in 2011. This exhibition was significant as it was the first major museum retrospective of graffiti and street art in the United States, showcasing works from influential artists such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and Os Gemeos, among others.
