Fugscreens Modest Mouse Columbus OH 2014 Silkscreen Print by Fugscreens
Modest Mouse Columbus OH 2014 Music Limited Edition Gig Poster Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print Artwork on Fine Art Paper by Fugscreens. 2014 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 225 Artwork Size 18x24 Modest Mouse Music Band, Columbus OH 2014 LC Pavilion Theater Man in Jungle Fighting Turtles Holding Passed Out Woman. SIlver Metallic Ink Modest Mouse Columbus OH 2014 Music Limited Edition Gig Poster by Fugscreens The Modest Mouse Columbus OH 2014 gig poster by Fugscreens is a bold and surreal example of how street pop art & graffiti artwork intersect with music culture. Designed as a commemorative print for the band’s performance at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio, this hand-pulled silkscreen artwork is a striking fusion of visual storytelling and underground aesthetics. Signed and numbered in a limited edition of 225, this 18x24-inch print stands as both a collectible and a statement piece, embodying the raw energy and eccentric themes often associated with Modest Mouse’s music. The Visual Impact and Artistic Composition Fugscreens’ design for this poster is both chaotic and captivating, featuring a jungle-like setting where a muscular figure engages in an intense battle with oversized turtles while holding an unconscious woman. The exaggerated features, comic book-style linework, and surreal subject matter make this piece an unmistakable example of street pop art & graffiti artwork. The illustration is packed with dynamic movement, drawing the viewer into an unexpected narrative that feels both mythical and absurd. The use of stippling and detailed texturing creates a layered effect, adding depth to the composition while maintaining a sense of handcrafted imperfection. The color palette consists of earthy greens, soft blues, and muted reds, giving the artwork a vintage pulp-fiction feel. The heavy use of outlines and shadowing enhances the drama of the scene, making the central figures appear even more exaggerated and intense. The placement of the band’s name at the top of the print in clean yet slightly distressed lettering contrasts sharply with the wild imagery below, reinforcing the idea that music itself can be both chaotic and structured at the same time. Symbolism and Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Aesthetics The imagery in this gig poster aligns with the themes often explored in street pop art & graffiti artwork—violence, nature, surrealism, and social commentary. The bizarre battle scene could be interpreted as a metaphor for struggle, survival, or even absurdity in modern life, themes that frequently appear in Modest Mouse’s lyrics. The inclusion of turtles as adversaries adds an element of irony and humor, subverting traditional heroic imagery and making the viewer question the logic behind the fight. The unconscious woman draped in the central figure’s arms suggests a vintage comic book or adventure novel aesthetic, but with an intentional absurdity that makes the scene feel like a critique rather than a glorification of action. The hand-pulled silkscreen technique enhances the rawness of the piece, much like how graffiti artists embrace imperfection and texture in their work. The ink layers create a tactile quality that digital prints cannot replicate, reinforcing the handmade, street-inspired nature of the artwork. This print exemplifies how gig posters, like street murals and graffiti, serve as an extension of underground culture, carrying the same rebellious energy and defiance of mainstream design conventions. The Cultural and Collectible Significance of the Print As a limited edition, signed, and numbered print, the Modest Mouse Columbus OH 2014 gig poster holds significant value among collectors of music memorabilia and street pop art & graffiti artwork. The 18x24-inch format allows for intricate details to be fully appreciated, making it an ideal display piece for fans of both the band and contemporary urban art. Fugscreens’ commitment to hand-pulled silkscreen printing ensures that each piece maintains a level of authenticity, with subtle variations that make every print unique. The poster’s surreal and chaotic imagery captures the essence of Modest Mouse’s music—unpredictable, introspective, and unafraid to challenge convention. Much like street artists who reclaim urban spaces with bold visuals, this print takes a non-traditional approach to gig poster design, pushing beyond simple branding and into the realm of artistic storytelling. It serves as both a promotional tool and a standalone work of art, proving that music and visual art share an inseparable bond in shaping cultural narratives.

Casey Weldon Dead Meat Giclee Print by Casey Weldon
Dead Meat Artwork Giclee Limited Edition Print on 300gsm Fine Art Paper by Pop Culture Graffiti Artist Casey Weldon. "Each of the pieces was created using acrylic on a 16x16” piece of birch. Back in 2008, I did about 9 tiny headdress pieces, each featuring strange objects in an ornamental and ceremonial fashion. I liked the idea of using the craft of the headdress to display the objects and ideas we worship in modern society. After abandoning the idea for many years I came back to it last year with the intention of developing the original though in a more intricate, yet ambiguous fashion. Pun intended. These pieces were made in November of 2012 for the Prisma Collective’s group show “Second Sight” at Trifecta Gallery in Las Vegas." - Casey Weldon

Prefab77 Happiness Is Expensive Grey Pink HPM Silkscreen Print by Prefab77
Happiness Is Expensive- Grey & Pink Limited Edition Hand-Embellished 6-Color Screen Prints on 300gsm Fabrino Rosapina Paper by Prefab77 Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. "Happiness is Expensive is part of a theme we are developing, keeping our hard, fast-edged style and mixing with portraiture. We want to explore the iconography and the power of the female form in traditional art, music, and fashion. Throughout the ages, portraits are used to reflect the subject but also the time period that the subject inhabits, with secret messages, religious affiliations, and iconography woven into the piece. We want to take this forward and use the main figurative element to reflect these messages into a powerful piece. We want to bridge the gap between street art and traditional art by using a mixture of Acrylic, Spraypaint, stencils, wheat pastes and various screen print inks in our work layering these into luxurious prints and originals." - Prefab77 "Happiness Is Expensive - Grey & Pink" is a captivating limited edition screen print by Prefab77, a renowned artist in graffiti street art and modern pop art. This hand-embellished artwork, rendered on 300gsm Fabriano Rosapina paper, is a testament to Prefab77's commitment to melding the raw energy of street art with the finesse of traditional portraiture. The piece showcases a complex interplay of six-color screen prints, each layer meticulously applied to construct a composite rich in texture and depth. Prefab77's intention to reflect the iconography and power of the female form is realized through the central figure. This portrayal channels the essence of femininity as observed in historical art, music, and fashion. The artwork serves as a contemporary canvas where the past and present converge, with the female subject embodying not just her narrative but also the zeitgeist of our era. Through "Happiness Is Expensive - Grey & Pink," Prefab77 delves into the tradition of portraiture, reimagining it with a modern twist. The work is interwoven with subtle motifs and symbols that echo religious and societal affiliations, similar to the hidden messages found in classic art. Yet, the artist propels these elements into the present, infusing the piece with the techniques of street art such as acrylics, spray paint, stencils, and wheat paste. This particular artwork explores luxury within prints and original creations, blurring the lines between accessible street art and the exclusivity of fine art. The limited edition nature of "Happiness Is Expensive - Grey & Pink," marked by the artist's hand, adds to its desirability and value, making it a cherished piece for collectors and enthusiasts of street pop art and graffiti artwork.

I have transcended “getting it right” to developing my own style, having some fun in the process, and creating some interesting characters. It’s my way of looking at human life and creating magic. I’m very excited for these images to go out into the world. They force me to ask who is God? Why are we created in his image? With this series I’m trying to understand this entity that we call God and at the same time understand life.” - Tyree Guyton

The tactile quality of silkscreen prints adds depth and character, reinforcing the idea that each piece carries a sense of craftsmanship and artistic intent. Revok’s approach to silkscreen printing mirrors his work in graffiti, where repetition and layering create complexity within seemingly simple compositions. The precision of the process ensures that each print retains the integrity of his original design while allowing for slight variations that make every edition unique. The choice of abstract geometric forms within this print aligns with his ongoing exploration of balance, symmetry, and the relationship between digital aesthetics and handmade artistry. This portrayal diverges from the raw, urban energy typically associated with graffiti art, instead inviting viewers to a quiet moment of reflection. The young woman's gaze, directed away from the viewer, alongside the symbolic feathers, speaks to a journey of self-discovery and the strength of cultural roots. Winnel's work is often characterized by this intersection of street-inspired aesthetics with elements of personal and cultural significance, creating a bridge between public art forms and private narratives. Cultural Resonance in Modern Art The cultural elements in "Innocence Prevails" are significant, as they offer a window into the respect and reverence for indigenous cultures often found in contemporary art. The woman's thoughtful expression, coupled with the tribal motif, evokes a sense of enduring innocence and a profound connection to tradition and history. This piece is a celebration of heritage and a commentary on preserving such within the modern context. Winnel's choice to utilize a Street Pop Art lens to explore these themes is particularly impactful, showcasing the genre's flexibility and depth. The print's existence as a limited edition further emphasizes the importance of preserving and cherishing cultural narratives, as each piece becomes a custodian of the story it tells. The Artistic Legacy of Bec Winnel Australian artist Bec Winnel has made a significant mark on the world of Street Pop Art with her distinctive style and expressive portraiture. "Innocence Prevails" is a shining example of her artistic philosophy, where the subject's essence is captured in a moment of silent reflection. Winnel's work is celebrated for its ability to convey profound emotions and concepts through art, engaging viewers in a dialogue that transcends words. In the broader art community, Winnel's contributions extend beyond the canvas; her artworks challenge and expand the boundaries of Street Pop Art, introducing elements of personal and cultural identity into a space often dominated by broader societal commentary. "Innocence Prevails" stands as an enduring piece within Winnel's collection, a Giclee print that carries the spirit of tradition into the contemporary art scene, ensuring that the whispers of the past remain audible amidst the clamor of modern life.

Chris Saunders Le Tigre Silkscreen Print by Chris Saunders
Le Tigre Limited Edition 8-Color Hand-Pulled Silkscreen Print on 250gsm Stonehenge Fine Art Paper by Chris Saunders Graffiti Street Artist Modern Pop Art. 2016 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 100 Artwork Size 24x24 Le Tigre Silkscreen Print by Chris Saunders "This piece is an evolution of a piece I did a few years ago that originated as a sketch. I was experiencing a massive shift in my life at the time. I was feeling a pull away from my career as a commercial artist to focus on my own art and I had a lot of fear coming up for me. Usually, when I experience these shifts I do my best to get out of my head and trust my inner guidance. That inner guidance tends to mold those experiences into the form of different animal forms that guide me through that transition. To me, the tiger represents primal instinct and being able to let go and trust yourself and fully trust your intuition. This piece looks about 100 times more amazing when you see it in person, the pics don't really highlight the layers and textural quality of all the inks used." - Chris Saunders

The 'Grace Giclee Print' exemplifies Winnel's signature style, often featuring young women adorned with stylized tattoos with tribal and geometric aesthetics. Similar to graffiti, these tattoos act as symbolic armor, representing resilience and vulnerability. They serve as a visual bridge between the subject's inner world and the outer reality, a theme prevalent in Winnel's body of work. Her ability to encapsulate complex emotional states through such imagery makes her work resonate with a diverse audience. Understanding the Essence of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork The 'Grace Giclee Print' is not merely an object of beauty but a narrative piece that speaks volumes about the intricacies of human expression. Winnel's work is a canvas where the personal and the universal meet, much like the ethos of Street Pop Art and Graffiti Artwork. These art forms, traditionally seen on public platforms, are recontextualized in Winnel's work to explore the private contemplations of the individual. This juxtaposition invites viewers to reflect on the interplay between public exhibitionism and private introspection, a dynamic central to understanding street art's influence on contemporary culture. The Cultural Significance of Limited Edition Artworks Limited edition prints such as 'Grace Giclee Print' hold a special place in the art world due to their exclusivity and the connection they forge between the artist and the collector. The scarcity of such artworks elevates their desirability and, by extension, their potential as cultural artifacts. Winnel's choice to limit the print run to 25 pieces adds an element of urgency and prestige to the acquisition of 'Grace,' making each print a cherished possession for those fortunate enough to own one. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, limited edition prints like this one symbolize the ongoing evolution of street art as they continue to permeate the more formal realms of art collection and critique. The 'Grace Giclee Print' by Bec Winnel is a compelling representation of the fusion between traditional portraiture and Street Pop Art's raw, expressive power. Winnel's dedication to her craft and ability to distill complex emotions into her artwork ensure that her pieces are visually stunning and intellectually and emotionally stimulating. Casey Weldon Sweet Bee Giclee Print by Casey Weldon
Sweet Bee Artwork Giclee Limited Edition Print on 300gsm Fine Art Paper by Pop Culture Graffiti Artist Casey Weldon.

Gats- Graffiti Against The System Cruiser Red Skateboard Art Deck by Gats- Graffiti Against The System
Cruiser- Red Fine Art Limited Edition Screen Print on Wood Skateboard Deck by Street Artwork Graffiti Artist Gats- Graffiti Against The System. 2018 Rare Edition of 25 Skateboard Deck. SpokeArt produced cruiser by GATS PTV for ComplexCon 2018 Red Edition of 25 Screen Printed Skate Deck Size: 9" x 32" from Oakland, CA. The Artistic Revolution on Wheels: "Cruiser - Red" by GATS The "Cruiser - -Red" skateboard deck, a limited edition piece by the street artist GATS, is a symbolic piece that showcases the fusion of street pop art & graffiti artwork with the cultural phenomenon of skateboarding. Produced by SpokeArt for ComplexCon in 2018, this rare collectible is one of only 25 pieces, making it an exclusive acquisition for art collectors and skate enthusiasts. This unique screen print on wood measures 9 inches by 32 inches and originates from Oakland, CA, a city known for its rich street art scene. GATS, an acronym for Graffiti Against The System, is an artist whose identity remains as enigmatic as the masked figures that populate his works. His art is a social commentary, often touching upon anonymity, freedom, and resistance against societal structures. The "Cruiser - Red" deck features a striking red background that amplifies the intricate black and white illustration, a hallmark of GATS' distinctive style. The central motif – a pair of eyes within a mask – is a recurring element in GATS' work, symbolizing the gaze of the disenfranchised and the overlooked. The screen print on wood infuses the skateboard deck with a dual nature: a functional object meant to traverse the urban landscape and a portable canvas that carries the weight of a message. This duality encapsulates the essence of street art – its mobility, accessibility, and ability to engage with the public in a dialogue about the space it occupies. Collectible Artistry: GATS' "Cruiser - Red" in the Pantheon of Pop Art In the pantheon of contemporary art, "Cruiser-Red" by GATS occupies a unique position. The limited edition nature of the piece – with only 25 in existence – elevates it from a mere object to a sought-after piece of collectible art. Each skateboard deck is a testament to the artist's commitment to creating art that is not only visually compelling but also scarce and special. A deep understanding of graffiti's cultural and political undertones characterizes GATS's artistry. His work on the "Cruiser - Red" deck celebrates the defiant spirit of street art and its ability to communicate complex messages through simple yet powerful imagery. The deck serves not just as a piece of art to be hung on a wall but as a statement piece that challenges the conventions of what constitutes fine art. GATS' choice of medium – a skateboard deck – is a nod to the subversive culture of skateboarding, which, much like street art, has its roots in the fringes of society, embodying a sense of rebellion and nonconformity. The "Cruiser-Red" is thus more than an object; it's a cultural artifact that captures the spirit of its time and the ethos of its creator. Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork: The Movement and the Medium Street pop art & graffiti artwork is a movement that blurs the lines between illicit street graffiti and the curated spaces of galleries. Artists like GATS bridge this divide by creating works capable of existing in both realms. The "Cruiser-Red" is a prime example of this crossover, a piece that carries the raw edge of street graffiti into the world of fine art collecting. The artwork speaks to a broader audience, drawing in those who might not traditionally engage with graffiti and inviting them to appreciate the nuances of this vibrant art form. The limited edition "Cruiser-Red" is more than a mere expression; it is a physical embodiment of the artist's message, a medium through which GATS communicates his worldview. In owning a piece like the "Cruiser-Red," collectors hold a snapshot of the artist's narrative, a piece of the conversation that GATS is having with the world through his art. It is an ever-evolving narrative, much like the streets from which it was born and the culture it represents. In the realm of street pop art & graffiti artwork, GATS' "Cruiser - -Red" is a landmark creation. It encapsulates the essence of street art – its vibrancy, immediacy, and ability to convey profound messages in the most unexpected places. Through works like the "Cruiser-Red," the conversation about what art can be and where it can exist continues, as does the legacy of artists who dare to make their marks on the world.
