Hijack Protect the eARTh HPM 2 Hand-Embellished Silkscreen Print by Hijack
Protect the eARTh HPM 2 Hand-Embellished Limited Edition 11-Color Silkscreen & Acrylic Paint on Fine Art Paper by Artist Hijack Graffiti Street Pop Artwork. 2022 Signed 1 of 1 Unique HPM Hand Embellished Limited Edition of 10 One of a Kind Silkscreens Artwork Size 22.5x30 Custom Framed Silkscreen of Man With Broken Umbrella Walking By Graffiti Wall. A striking manifestation of contemporary street art, "Protect the eARTh HPM 2" by Hijack offers viewers a penetrating gaze into environmental consciousness, seamlessly woven into urban settings. The piece, crafted in 2022, showcases not only the artist's commitment to highlighting pressing global issues but also his refined expertise in blending different artistic mediums. At the heart of this artwork is a lone figure, attempting to navigate an urban expanse with a vivid, broken blue umbrella as his shield. The umbrella, fragmented yet distinctly prominent in its hue, symbolizes Earth's endurance amidst the adversities thrust upon it. The deep blue, reminiscent of the planet's boundless oceans and skies, stands in stark juxtaposition against the monochromatic city background. This backdrop, depicting a graffiti-laden wall, offers a raw depiction of urban decay, further accentuated by the figure's shadowy presence. Amid the chaotic jumble of spray paint and scribbles, certain inscriptions like "Protect eARTh" and "I LOVE EARTH" boldly emerge, acting as poignant reminders of the work's central theme. With "Protect the eARTh HPM 2", Hijack embarks on a quest to bridge the seemingly disparate worlds of urban decay and environmental conservation. This 1 of 1 unique hand-embellished edition, limited to just ten silkscreens, spans a canvas measuring 22.5x30 inches, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and reconsider their relationship with the environment. Every brushstroke and silkscreen imprint echoes Hijack's signature style, culminating in a piece that is as thought-provoking as it is visually arresting.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Alternative Facts Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Alternative Facts Hand-Pulled 4-Color Silkscreen Print on Speckletone Fine Art Paper by Artist Shepard Fairey Limited Edition Pop Art Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of XXX Artwork Size 24x24 " We are at a critical moment for the preservation of democracy and non-partisan access to voting for all citizens of voting age. Between the Supreme Court, partisan gerrymandering shaping state legislatures, and the filibuster as a tool of obstruction in Congress, we are already facing tyranny by the minority. The forces dominating our politics do not reflect the values of most Americans. My print, Alternative Facts, addresses the mass confusion about truth that allows the parties who spread the big lie about the 2020 election (and many other lies) fomented the January 6th insurrection and are engaged in voter suppression and other anti-democracy schemes, to flourish unchecked. A portion of proceeds from Alternative Facts will benefit the ACLU in its legal fights against voter suppression and other attacks on the constitution." -Shepard Fairey Shepard Fairey's work is highly political and social, not only because he is incorporating politicians and slogans in it but more importantly because the artist is primarily interested in approaching as many people as possible, exhibiting his work in the covers of the books, which we read, in the music albums, to which we listen, and on the walls of the streets, where we walk. “If I put art in a daring spot, it’s more moving to the viewer and demonstrates my conviction.”, he says. After all, Fairey, in many cases, directly expresses his views on politics and society, whenever he is given the chance. For example, in the aftermath of the “Hope” poster, he commented the following: “Obama has had a really tough time, but there have been a lot of things that he's compromised on that I never would have expected. I mean, drones and domestic spying are the last things I would have thought [he'd support]”. The political aspect of his work can, also, be seen under the spectrum of Fairey’s activism and humanitarian activity. Many of his works have been created as part of activism campaigns or were sold to support causes relevant to the Arts, animal rights, poverty, medical research, the environment, etc. The artist, however, doesn’t identify himself as an activist: “People ask me if I’m an activist, and my answer is no. I’m an artist with a point of view, but I want to do my part to supplement activist causes I believe in. I feel fortunate to connect with people who find my imagery useful and help spread it.”

Shows a Hand Removing Laws From A Brief Case Infering Wall Street Money Regulations. "Jamie has been one of my biggest influences, and I'm honored that we worked on some collaborative images for the show. The new images deal with the mutual interests of Jamie and I, addressing the timeless problems of corruption and wealth inequality, but tie into the current themes of Occupy Wall Street and the dead end of fossil fuel consumption." -Shepard Faire.y Shepard Fairey's Collaboration with Jamie Reid in Street Pop Art The "Shoplifters Welcome Silkscreen Print" is a remarkable intersection of street pop art and political commentary, created by the influential Shepard Fairey in collaboration with Jamie Reid. This limited edition hand-pulled screen print on cream speckletone art paper is a testament to the potency of visual art as a tool for social critique. Released as part of Jamie Reid's Ragged Kingdom exhibition from March 16 to April 14, 2012, this artwork resonates with anti-establishment and dissent themes common in street pop art and graffiti artwork. Shepard Fairey, renowned for his OBEY campaign and the iconic Obama "Hope" poster, has a history of infusing his work with sharp political insights. The artwork in discussion depicts a hand removing laws from a briefcase, a direct inference to the deregulation of Wall Street and the unshackling of financial institutions from legal constraints. This visual metaphor conveys the message of wealth inequality and corruption, both highly relevant to the zeitgeist of the early 2010s, especially in the Occupy Wall Street movement. Artistic Expression of Sociopolitical Issues The collaborative nature of this artwork, involving both Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid, underscores a shared commitment to addressing pressing societal issues through art. Fairey's statement about the collaboration highlights their mutual interest in tackling the "timeless problems of corruption and wealth inequality," themes that are also deeply embedded in the philosophy of street pop art. The artwork becomes a canvas for discourse, echoing the sentiments of public protests and movements that call for justice and economic reform. In creating the "Shoplifters Welcome" piece, Fairey and Reid tap into the legacy of street pop art's ability to reach a broad audience. Street pop art, often found in public spaces, speaks directly to the masses, unfiltered by the gatekeeping of traditional art venues. Though housed within the confines of an exhibition, this print carries the spirit of street art by being a piece of graffiti artwork that one can own—a symbol of both rebellion and commodification. The limited edition nature of the print, being one of only 450, adds a layer of exclusivity to a piece that speaks about wealth disparity, creating an exciting tension between the artwork's message and its status as a collectible item. Each print, signed and numbered by Fairey, is a piece of art and a statement about the artist's role in society—as an observer, a critic, and a participant in the cultural dialogue about power and money. This artwork, sized 18x24, encapsulates a period of intense socio-political activism, serving as a historical document that captures the essence of the early 2010s. The stark imagery, reminiscent of propaganda art, is both a nod to the past and a commentary on the current state of affairs. It draws a parallel between the actions on Wall Street and the broader issues of regulatory oversight and the power imbalance, which remain relevant in discussions about the economy and governance. In the larger context of street pop and graffiti artwork, Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid's "Shoplifters Welcome" print is a powerful reminder of art's role in society. It bridges the gap between aesthetic appeal and social commentary, functioning as a visual manifesto that calls for reflection and action. The piece is not merely an artwork to be viewed but a conversation starter, a call to arms, and a historical artifact.

Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid: Art as Social Commentary In collaboration with Jamie Reid, the "Shoplifters Welcome Silkscreen Print" by Shepard Fairey is a powerful example of how street pop art and graffiti artwork can encapsulate and critique social and economic issues. This piece, a limited edition print, was created for the "Ragged Kingdom" exhibition from March 16 to April 14, 2012. It has become a significant work in street art for its bold political statement. The artwork depicts a hand removing a document labeled "MONEY" from a briefcase, a visual representation of deregulation, particularly within the context of Wall Street. This act is set against an offer for 'shoplifters,' a satirical nod to the notion that the financial elite operates under a different set of rules than the average person. The print's striking use of the phrase "THIS DECADE ONLY!" further emphasizes the timely nature of the message, suggesting a window of opportunity for unchecked financial behavior. Art Reflecting the Times: Occupy Wall Street and Beyond Shepard Fairey's statement about the collaboration with Jamie Reid highlights their shared focus on corruption and wealth inequality themes, notably echoed by the Occupy Wall Street movement. The movement, which started in 2011, brought widespread attention to these issues, and Fairey and Reid's work provided a visual commentary that resonated with the public sentiment of the time. The artwork not only represents the artists' perspectives but also serves as a historical marker of the socio-economic climate of the early 2010s. The "Shoplifters Welcome" print is a prime example of how street pop art and graffiti artwork can transcend the boundaries of traditional art by directly engaging with social commentary. Fairey, known for his provocative approach, and Reid, with his history of punk aesthetic, combine their styles to create a piece that is as aggressive as it is artistic. The limited edition nature of the print, signed and numbered by Fairey, adds to its allure as a collectible item, even as it challenges the structures of economic power. In creating this print, Fairey and Reid employ the aesthetic of propaganda, utilizing bold colors and stark contrasts to draw attention to their message. The choice of silkscreen printing, a technique closely associated with street art due to its mass production capabilities, further ties the work to the grassroots nature of its messages. It is a medium that allows the artwork to be disseminated widely, mirroring the spread of ideas central to movements like Occupy Wall Street. The "Shoplifters Welcome" print is a testament to the enduring power and relevance of street pop art and graffiti artwork in contemporary discourse. It is a reminder that art can be an intelligent tool for social critique, reflecting the issues of its time and prompting conversations that can lead to change. Through their collaborative efforts, Fairey and Reid have created more than just a visual piece; they have crafted a narrative that challenges viewers to consider the imagery's deeper implications and question the status quo.

The text "Sorry Is Not Enough" boldly underscores the visual, serving as both a caption and a statement that amplifies the emotional resonance of the image. In street pop art, such directness is not uncommon; it's a genre that often seeks to communicate messages succinctly and powerfully, cutting through the noise to reach its audience. The Role of Printer's Proofs in Contemporary Street Art Printer's Proofs are traditionally part of an edition outside the regular numbered series, typically reserved for the artist's personal use. Their rarity and the artist's direct involvement in their creation often make them more valuable and sought after by collectors. Denial's "Sorry Is Not Enough" PP joins this tradition, allowing collectors to own a piece that comes directly from the artist's hand. The PP mark and Denial's signature confirm its authenticity and the print's status as a genuine piece of his oeuvre. In "Sorry Is Not Enough," Denial employs archival pigment in creating the fine art print, ensuring the longevity of the piece and the stability of its vibrant colors over time. Archival pigments are resistant to the fading and deterioration that often plague art materials, making them a favored choice for works meant to stand the test of time. This attention to longevity is a testament to the merging of street art's immediacy and the enduring nature of fine art. Street Pop Art as a Conduit for Social Commentary Denial's work, particularly this print, exemplifies street pop art's unique ability to serve as a conduit for social commentary. By leveraging the visual language of pop art—bold graphics, explicit imagery, and stark text—artists can communicate complex messages quickly and effectively. This piece, with its evocative facial expression and the simplicity of its accompanying text, invites reflection on the current societal discourse, encouraging the viewer to ponder the depth and sincerity behind apologies and the actions that necessitate them. "Sorry Is Not Enough" is a visual dialogue on accountability and the need for substantial action beyond mere words. This message is particularly resonant in an era where public figures and institutions are often called upon to address their wrongdoings. Denial's print captures this zeitgeist, challenging the viewer to consider what meaningful reparation might look like. In conclusion, "Sorry Is Not Enough" by Denial is a compelling example of how street pop art and graffiti artwork can encapsulate and communicate powerful sentiments. Shepard Fairey- OBEY Moon Over Biloxi Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Moon Over Biloxi 1-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art Famous Pop Artwork Artist. Signed & Numbered Moon Over Biloxi Screen Print 18 x 24 inches Edition of 400 July 27, 2010. "The title of this print “Moon Over Biloxi” is a tribute to the Dead Kennedy’s song “Moon Over Marin”. In 1984 I picked up maybe my 4th punk record which was the 2nd Dead Kennedy’s album “Plastic Surgery Disasters”. The album is a great listen all the way through and includes some blistering tunes like “Riot” and “Bleed For Me” laced with social commentary. The surprise song though is “Moon Over Marin”… detractors have called it the Dead Kennedy’s “U2” song, but I disagree. “Moon Over Marin” is more melodic than most DK, but juxtaposed with the darkness of the lyrics, the song evokes a powerful sense of existential melancholy. I think the concept that struck me, and stuck with me, is that our disrespect of each other and the planet may doom us, but things will continue without us. I think it is healthy to recognize impermanence, but also to appreciate the value of the ephemeral. Moonlight, real or electric, will probably be around, but what it will be casting light on is the real question. There will always be a moon over Biloxi." -Shepard

It is not merely a visual spectacle but a statement, encapsulating the punk movement's spirit and challenging the establishment's symbols and authority. The imagery, familiar to many, became emblematic of the punk rock movement in the late 1970s. Shepard Fairey- OBEY Legislative Influence For Sale Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Legislative Influence For Sale 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. 2011 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 450 Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Democrat Propaganda Print of United States President Ronald Regan Holding Sign That Reads "Legislative Influence For Sale" like one side is innocent. "Legislative Influence For Sale" is a potent visual commentary by the renowned street artist Shepard Fairey, who rose to global recognition under the moniker OBEY. This artwork, created in 2011, is a limited edition, hand-pulled silkscreen print on fine art paper, and its rarity is underscored by its exclusivity: only 450 signed and numbered copies exist. Measuring 18x24 inches, this piece is not just art; it's a socio-political statement that challenges viewers to confront the intricacies of power, politics, and influence. Fairey's choice of imagery is both bold and thought-provoking. He presents a depiction of the 40th United States President, Ronald Reagan, holding a sign that proclaims, "Legislative Influence For Sale." The audacious portrayal hints at the complex interplay of political agendas, financial influences, and lobbying, suggesting that even the highest office might not be immune to corruption or undue influence. Furthermore, the artist's clever juxtaposition of implying that one side might be innocent plays with the ambiguity of political righteousness, forcing a reflection upon the nuances of political morality. In the realms of pop art, street art, and graffiti, artists often hold a mirror to society, urging introspection, critique, and, at times, activism. Shepard Fairey's piece stands tall within this tradition. His deliberate use of the silkscreen medium, historically associated with both fine art (think Andy Warhol) and protest (recalling posters and flyers), emphasizes the blend of aesthetic beauty and powerful messaging. Through "Legislative Influence For Sale," Fairey not only cements his place in the pantheon of street art legends but also reignites essential conversations about democracy, integrity, and the potential pitfalls of unchecked power.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Sedation of Millions AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Sedation of Millions AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Artist Proof Hand-Pulled Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. AP Artist Proof 2012 Signed & AP Marked Original Run Limited Edition Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print of Number 3 in A Gun Target Retnial With Phrase "IT TAKES THE SEDATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK." "The "Sedation Of Millions" print is inspired by the title of my favorite Public Enemy album, "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back." I think the biggest problem in America is the indifference and complacency about important issues that result from much of the population being perpetually hypnotized by conspicuous consumption, social media, entertainment, and self-medication. Using sedation and escapism for relief from the rat race might make us less aware(blissfully ignorant) but also less empowered to improve our role within the rat race… a vicious cycle of cause and effect." -Shepard Fairey The "Millions AP" silkscreen print by Shepard Fairey stands as a profound commentary on contemporary society through the lens of street pop art and graffiti artwork. As an Artist Proof from 2012, signed and marked by Fairey himself, this limited edition piece presents a powerful visual fused with a direct message characteristic of Fairey's thought-provoking style. Sized at 18x24, the print features the image of a gun target retinal, the number 3 prominently placed at its center, overlaid with the bold phrase "IT TAKES THE SEDATION OF MILLIONS TO HOLD US BACK." This artwork resonates with Fairey's ongoing exploration of control, power, and propaganda. The title and the thematic content pay homage to Public Enemy's album "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back," channeling the spirit of resistance and the power of voice emblematic of the influential hip-hop group. Fairey's work challenges the viewer to consider the societal implications of complacency and the sedative effects of consumer culture, social media, and entertainment that contribute to a collective indifference toward critical issues. Shepard Fairey, renowned for his OBEY campaign and the iconic Obama "Hope" poster, consistently blurs the lines between fine art and street art, bringing forth discussions that encapsulate the ethos of both genres. The "Millions AP" silkscreen print serves not just as a piece of art but as a call to consciousness, urging a break from the "blissful ignorance" induced by escapism and advocating for empowerment through awareness and action. This work is a visual manifestation of Fairey's critique on the cyclical nature of societal sedation and the importance of awakening from it to enact change within the systems that govern daily life. In the broader scope of street pop art and graffiti, Fairey's "Millions AP" print encapsulates the essence of the medium's capacity to reflect and impact cultural dialogue. It is a testament to the potential of visual art as a medium for social commentary and a marker of the time in which it was created.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Danger No Smoking AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Danger No Smoking AP Artist Proof Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Hand-Pulled on Cream Speckletone Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Artwork Obey Pop Culture Artist. AP Artist Proof 2016 Signed & Marked AP Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print—vintage Style Lead Fuel Gas Pump with Danger No Smoking Sign. "This Danger No Smoking print is inspired by a screen print I made in 1990, which was the very first image I made addressing the environmental and health hazards of gasoline. I took this photograph in Providence, RI at the edge of a desolate graveyard, which probably intensified my interpretation of the peeling paint on the gas pump as a skull. I decided the symbolism provided by natural erosion was powerful enough to make the photo worthy of turning into a print. I always liked this image, and I rediscovered it while looking for images to include in a book surveying my entire history of environmentally themed art." -Shepard Fairey- OBEY Shepard Fairey Unsinkable Consumption AP 2015 Silkscreen Print Shepard Fairey, born Frank Shepard Fairey in the United States, created Unsinkable Consumption in 2015 as part of his ongoing critique of environmental exploitation and unchecked consumer culture within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. This Artist Proof edition is signed and marked AP, distinguishing it from the standard numbered run and identifying it as part of a smaller subset reserved by the artist. The hand-pulled silkscreen measures 18 x 24 inches and is printed on cream Speckletone fine art paper, a textured stock commonly used in Obey editions for its archival durability and vintage character. Fairey has consistently used bold iconography and propaganda inspired composition to address social and political themes, and this work reflects his direct engagement with industrial dependency and ecological consequence. Oil Symbolism and Industrial Critique in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork The composition depicts a large ocean liner sinking into dark waters, visually referencing early twentieth century maritime disaster imagery while replacing the traditional cause with a broader commentary on oil consumption. Above the vessel, a red circular emblem frames a black oil derrick within a droplet shape, reinforcing petroleum as the central motif. The word Consume appears across the top, functioning as both directive and indictment. Fairey’s restrained palette of black, cream, and red heightens the graphic immediacy of the message, echoing historical propaganda posters while maintaining the clarity associated with Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. The distressed background textures and layered patterning add depth and archival resonance, strengthening the conceptual weight of the scene. Artist Proof Editions and Environmental Commentary Artist Proof prints hold special significance in fine art printmaking, often representing early impressions or reserved examples closely tied to the artist’s archive. Within Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, AP editions reinforce craftsmanship and scarcity while preserving thematic urgency. Unsinkable Consumption demonstrates Fairey’s ability to merge historical visual language with contemporary environmental critique, transforming a familiar maritime silhouette into a symbol of systemic overconsumption. By combining disciplined hand-pulled silkscreen production with potent industrial imagery, this 2015 print stands as a direct and enduring example of how Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork addresses ecological responsibility through bold graphic storytelling.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Factory Stacks- Earth First Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Factory Stacks- Earth First 6-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Speckletone Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. 2022 Signed by Shepard Fairey Numbered 18x24 inches. Screenprint on thick cream Speckletone paper. Numbered edition of 350. "These “Factory Stacks” images combine the austere, angular power of factory architecture with graphic elements commenting on what we promote and embrace as a society even when those things are destructive. The fossil fuel industries have tremendous power economically, but we now know that not only are fossil fuel sources finite but that using them is terrible for climate change and, therefore, the eco-systems that sustain life on our planet. Unfortunately, due to the political power of these industries and public apathy about climate change, the government subsidizes the fossil fuel industries for billions even as they damage the environment. The government works for the citizens, so the choice is ours. Do we support endless power for wealthy fossil fuel corporations? Or policies that put the earth first with the planet before profits? Please read Naomi Klein’s THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING to better understand the conflict between economic interests and climate change. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print will go to Greenpeace to fight climate change. Thanks for caring.” – Shepard Factory Stacks – Earth First Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey Factory Stacks – Earth First is a powerful 6-color hand-pulled silkscreen print created in 2022 by renowned American artist Shepard Fairey. Measuring 18x24 inches and printed on thick cream Speckletone fine art paper, this signed and numbered limited edition of 350 pieces fuses the political energy of graffiti with the precision and control of modern screenprint design. The work is part of Fairey’s continued focus on environmental activism through art and contributes to the broader conversation around the role of industry, power, and public accountability in climate policy. Industrial Might as Graphic Metaphor The print features a factory with twin smokestacks emitting bold trails of smoke against a fragmented and stylized backdrop of red, yellow, and blue—colors associated with urgency, fire, and warning. The building looms large, rendered with clean vector lines and high-contrast forms, while geometric elements and cultural motifs hover in the background, including currency iconography, flames, and architectural symbolism. The stark visual contrast between the rigid industrial structures and the organic chaos of smoke and fire underscores the clash between mechanized progress and ecological fragility. This image serves as a critique of global dependence on fossil fuels and the prioritization of profit over environmental sustainability. Shepard Fairey is known for embedding meaning within tightly structured visuals, and here he uses the monumental scale of the smokestacks as a metaphor for entrenched systems of power. The print’s backdrop includes references to government currency and propaganda textures, further emphasizing the complicity of institutional economics in environmental destruction. Screenprinting as Political Craft Fairey’s technical skill in hand-pulled silkscreening is evident in the crisp linework, bold palette, and balanced layering of texture and flat color. The artwork’s speckletone paper enhances the handmade quality of the piece, giving it the presence of a protest poster while retaining the refinement of collectible street pop art. The 6-color process allows for vibrant layering and nuanced interplay of light and form, with the red and black palette lending a sense of urgency and confrontation. By combining the visual language of commercial design with fine art methods, Fairey continues his legacy of making politically charged works that are accessible, reproducible, and grounded in visual activism. This piece fits into his broader OBEY aesthetic, which draws from punk, graffiti, and socialist propaganda to awaken public dialogue. Art as Environmental Statement Factory Stacks – Earth First is not merely a visual statement; it is a functional activist tool. A portion of the proceeds from this edition was pledged to Greenpeace, supporting global campaigns to combat climate change. Fairey encourages viewers to reflect on systemic inertia, corporate greed, and the governmental failure to transition away from environmentally destructive practices. His recommendation of Naomi Klein’s book “This Changes Everything” provides further intellectual grounding for the print’s message, aligning the work with contemporary thought leaders in environmental justice. This silkscreen print exemplifies the power of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork as both a form of protest and a call to action. By merging aesthetics with advocacy, Shepard Fairey transforms industrial imagery into a demand for ecological responsibility and human accountability.

Cleon Peterson The Devil Made Me Do It Silkscreen Print by Cleon Peterson
The Devil Made Me Do It Hand-Pulled 2-Color Silkscreen Print on Hand Deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Paper by Artist Cleon Peterson Limited Edition Pop Art Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 300 Artwork Size 18x24 "The TRUTH image ran in the New York Times right before the election in the opinion feature, What Have We Lost. The Devil Made Me Do It & Divided We Stand, United We Fall were both made on January 6th in response to the Faustian bargain that Trump and his accomplices made in designing the coup. Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads; now, more than ever, we must come together, take a stand, exercise our voices, and fight for Truth and Democracy. Hopefully, daylight will cast off this right-wing authoritarian spell. I see these posters as markers of a historical time and feel a duty within to share my views. We're all exhausted by politics, but we must embrace the moment and take action because the threat is fundamental; our democracy could be gone in the blink of an eye." - Cleon Peterson. Cleon Peterson's Stark Commentary in "The Devil Made Me Do It" In the stark dichotomy of black and red, Cleon Peterson's "The Devil Made Me Do It" delivers a powerful visual commentary on the socio-political climate surrounding the events of January 6th, marked by the infamous U.S. Capitol riots. This hand-pulled 2-color silkscreen print on hand-deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Paper emerges as a piece of street pop art and a historical marker, capturing a moment of intense national upheaval. Art as a Reflection of Societal Turmoil Peterson's artwork, a limited edition of 300 signed and numbered pieces, transcends the traditional boundaries of pop art. It embodies the artist's response to a fraught political landscape, reacting to the tumultuous events that shook the foundations of American democracy. The imagery of a man seemingly dancing while overshadowed by demonic figures speaks to the "Faustian bargain," suggesting a dance with the devil that echoes the betrayals and manipulations of political figures and the public seduced by their rhetoric. The title, "The Devil Made Me Do It," offers an ironic twist on the age-old excuse for succumbing to temptations and making morally questionable choices. Peterson's choice to release these works as a direct response to political events positions the artwork within a tradition of artists who use their craft to document and critique the times they live in. The visual language used in this piece is reminiscent of street art's often aggressive and provocative style, meant to engage the public in public spaces. The Role of Street Pop Art in Political Discourse Cleon Peterson's work exemplifies the role of street pop art in political discourse. Street art has always had a voice in the political arena, often serving as a raw expression of the people, unfiltered and unmediated. Through his work, Peterson extends this tradition by creating a piece that is both a reaction to and reflection of the political unrest that has characterized recent times. With its bold, unapologetic lines and vibrant colors, silkscreen printing makes "The Devil Made Me Do It" a commanding presence. It is a testament to the artist's ability to distill complex political and social emotions into a single, impactful image. In the tradition of street pop art, which often involves taking art out of the galleries and into the streets, Peterson's piece is designed to resonate with a broad audience, its message clear and accessible to all who encounter it. "The Devil Made Me Do It" is more than just a piece of pop art; it is a visual essay on the state of contemporary politics, a call to action, and a reminder of the power of art to reflect and affect change. It is a bold statement within the discourse of street pop art and graffiti artwork, capturing a moment when the world watched as democracy appeared to hang in the balance. Cleon Peterson's voice, through his art, adds to the chorus of those who advocate for truth and democracy, and his work remains a powerful example of how art can engage with and influence the political landscape.

Cleon Peterson Money and Power- Black Silkscreen Print by Cleon Peterson
Money and Power- Black Hand-Pulled 1-Color Silkscreen Print on Hand Deckled 290gsm Arches Rag Paper by Artist Cleon Peterson Limited Edition Art Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of 75 Artwork Size 18x18 "Money and Power have become primary drivers in the modern world, pushing us toward a corrupt society. The days when our leaders looked out for the people's interests have become a thing of the past—replaced by the strong man who squashes the voices of dissent to set things straight. Money elects leaders; in return, they owe a debt to the people that put them in Power—enacting our new public policy of greed and gangster capitalism. We slowly accept corruption, Law slowly fades away, and people begin to feel like democracy and a fair and equitable society were always just an illusion, a dream from the past that never really even existed." -Cleon Peterson Money and Power by Cleon Peterson – A Stark Allegory of Corruption in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Money and Power is a powerful black hand-pulled 1-color silkscreen print created by Cleon Peterson in 2022. Produced in a limited edition of just 75 signed and numbered pieces, this 18x18 inch artwork is printed on 290gsm Arches rag paper with hand-deckled edges, emphasizing its artisanal quality and rarity. The stark yellow figures and flag, laid over a deep black background, serve as a searing visual metaphor of political decay and societal control. With simplified, militaristic forms, Peterson’s composition marches forward in rigid formation, symbolizing a collective submission to authoritarian rule driven by capitalist greed. The central banner bearing a dollar sign encapsulates the theme in one potent glyph: money has become the new god, the flag under which societies now march. Cleon Peterson's Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork – A Violent Mirror of Power Structures Cleon Peterson, born in the United States in 1973, is known globally for his uncompromising and provocative style that merges elements of street art, pop iconography, and a graffiti aesthetic into biting social commentary. His work does not rely on subtlety but instead confronts the viewer with raw and unsettling imagery. In Money and Power, Peterson explores how capitalist motives have become indistinguishable from systems of governance. The faceless, weapon-wielding figures invoke totalitarian control, with each character's uniformity and march-step illustrating the erasure of individual thought and freedom. Peterson’s use of a single bold color evokes propaganda art, recalling wartime posters and dictatorial regimes, reinforcing the critique that today’s economic elites and political figures have blended into a single oppressive force. Money and Power as a Visual Manifesto Against Gangster Capitalism This piece stands as a visual thesis against what Peterson terms gangster capitalism. He expresses the idea that leaders are no longer elected to serve the public good but instead owe their power to financial interests. These interests then dictate policy, ensuring that the cycle of wealth consolidation and systemic inequality continues unchecked. In the artwork, the figures do not march for justice or liberty, but for power sustained by money. The gun in each figure's hand underscores how violence or the threat of it is now a normalized tool for maintaining order in this corrupt structure. As law and accountability fade, Peterson’s image becomes a grim prophecy, showing a society where control is absolute and voices of dissent are methodically extinguished. A Defining Work in Modern Political Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork Money and Power exemplifies the essential mission of street pop art and graffiti artwork: to challenge viewers, provoke thought, and expose uncomfortable truths. Peterson uses minimalist design to deliver a maximalist message—every line, posture, and symbol communicates urgency and danger. The limited nature of the piece and the labor-intensive silkscreen technique elevate its importance as a collectible while preserving the raw authenticity central to street and graffiti art origins. It operates not merely as a print but as a declaration—one that distills Peterson’s disdain for performative democracy and unregulated capitalism into a concise, unforgettable image. The work’s impact lies in its clarity and its refusal to soften the critique, marking it as a seminal moment in Peterson’s body of work and a critical reflection of our time.

AS220’s pivotal role in fostering an inclusive arts community and providing a platform for marginalized voices is central to Fairey's narrative. The artwork itself is a visual confluence of Fairey's signature style with poignant messaging. Words like "Creativity," "Equity," and "Justice" are prominently featured, aligning with the larger message that Fairey perpetuates through his work—art as a mechanism for societal upliftment and personal liberation. His use of bold, contrasting colors and geometric patterns draws the eye, compelling the viewer to contemplate the interconnectedness of the artistic elements with the profound themes presented. The central figure, a woman with green skin and a melancholic expression, is a striking pop art reimagination. Her stylized appearance, complete with halftone patterns and bold colors, evokes the graphic aesthetic of mid-century comic books. The credit card design features branding and elements that are cleverly altered to reflect Denial’s critique of consumerism and the contradictions inherent in the phrase less is more. The world map in the background hints at the global reach of financial systems and their influence on individual lives. By combining these elements, the piece offers a layered exploration of the emotional and cultural impact of materialism. Denial’s Unique Artistic Approach Daniel Bombardier’s work is celebrated for its ability to combine humor, satire, and pop culture references into thought-provoking pieces. Less is More exemplifies his skill in turning everyday objects into vehicles for social commentary. The use of a credit card as the foundation of the artwork speaks to the ubiquity of consumerism and its impact on identity and values. Denial’s meticulous attention to detail, from the crispness of the archival pigment print to the dynamic interplay of colors, ensures that the piece is both visually stunning and thematically rich. His fusion of street pop art and graffiti artwork continues to challenge audiences to rethink their relationship with consumer culture. The Cultural Significance of Credit Limit: Less is More Less is More captures the paradoxical relationship between material aspirations and the psychological toll of consumerism. It critiques the notion of equating financial success with personal fulfillment, highlighting the emotional dissonance that often accompanies the pursuit of wealth. As part of the Credit Limit series, this artwork reinforces Denial’s commentary on the systems and ideologies that shape modern life. The limited edition nature of the piece underscores its exclusivity and value as a work of art that not only resonates aesthetically but also sparks critical conversations. Denial’s ability to blend bold visuals with profound messages ensures that Less is More remains a standout piece in the world of contemporary street pop art and graffiti artwork.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Factory Stacks- Endless Power Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Factory Stacks- Endless Power 6-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Speckletone Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. Thanks for caring.” – Shepard Factory Stacks – Endless Power Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey Factory Stacks – Endless Power is a bold 6-color silkscreen print created in 2022 by Shepard Fairey, one of the most influential figures in Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork. Measuring 18x24 inches, this signed and numbered limited edition of 350 is printed on thick cream Speckletone paper and embodies Fairey’s hallmark aesthetic: a fusion of propaganda-style composition, socio-political messaging, and graphic design precision. It continues his Factory Stacks series, a visual campaign aimed at confronting environmental and systemic imbalances, particularly those surrounding the fossil fuel industry. Visual Language of Industrial Dominance This piece presents twin smokestacks emerging from a factory, exhaling thick plumes of smoke that bend into geometric arcs against a fractured backdrop. The composition is both imposing and elegant, rendered in Fairey’s signature palette of red, blue, cream, and black with accents of gold and grey. A section in the upper corner features graphic symbols such as currency and uniformed authority figures with the text “Endless Power,” visually connecting fossil fuel dependency to state and corporate control. Below, flames lick at the base of the structure, symbolizing destruction masked as progress. The stylized imagery and bold silhouettes evoke retro political posters, transforming the factory into an icon of unchecked industrial ambition. The title “Endless Power” is a biting irony. It speaks to the illusion of limitless energy consumption enabled by fossil fuels while referencing the political power structure that sustains this destructive system. Fairey uses the visual metaphor of pollution and fire not just as environmental warning signs, but as emblems of capitalism's refusal to pivot toward sustainability. Fine Art Printmaking as Street-Level Protest This edition is hand-pulled and silkscreened, showcasing Fairey’s technical prowess in layering crisp lines and vibrant color fields. The physicality of screenprinting—each layer applied with intention—parallels the artist’s belief in direct action. The Speckletone stock used adds texture and weight, reinforcing the piece’s physical presence and link to protest posters of the past. As a printmaker rooted in the street art tradition, Fairey embraces reproducibility without sacrificing uniqueness. His screenprints are both fine art artifacts and tools of mass communication. Factory Stacks – Endless Power does not rely on abstraction. It forces clarity, making its environmental critique visually immediate and emotionally provocative. Political Commentary Through Graffiti-Inspired Aesthetics Fairey’s work consistently straddles the space between fine art and graffiti, and this piece is no exception. By including symbols of nationalism, money, and smoke stacks, he aligns corporate power and environmental degradation in a single visual language. As part of the OBEY Giant campaign's broader ethos, the artwork invites viewers to question the legitimacy of authority, capitalism, and consumption. In the lower left of the piece, Fairey embeds the edition number and his signature, reinforcing its status as a collectible. Yet unlike conventional gallery art, this piece was made to communicate with the public. A portion of the proceeds from this release was donated to Greenpeace, underscoring the artist’s commitment to activism through art. Factory Stacks – Endless Power is not a lament—it is a visual demand. It reminds viewers that power, both political and industrial, is not endless unless people allow it to be. Through the bold format of Street Pop Art & Graffiti Artwork, Shepard Fairey transforms a grim industrial skyline into a battleground of ideas, urging action before the smoke becomes irreversible.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Bias by Numbers- 30X42 Large Format Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Bias by Numbers- Large Format 30X42 4-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Speckletone Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. Signed & Numbered, Bias by Numbers 30 inches by 42 inches Edition of 89 June 3, 2019 “Bias by Numbers” addresses racial bias in policing, criminal justice, and media culture. Racial bias in policing and criminal justice has a long history, including stats like – black people being five times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people, and four times more likely to be subjected to unnecessary use of force, or four times more likely to be killed by the police when unarmed. The statistics revealing racial bias in prosecution and sentencing are compelling as well. Though recreational drug use is equally common in both predominantly black communities and predominantly white communities, convictions for drug possession are almost six times higher for blacks. Blacks frequently receive longer prison sentences than whites contributing to African Americans being incarcerated at more than five times the rate of whites.

Cleon Peterson Divided We Stand, United We Fall Silkscreen Print by Cleon Peterson
Divided We Stand, United We Fall Hand-Pulled 2-Color Silkscreen Print on Hand Deckled 290gsm Coventry Rag Paper by Artist Cleon Peterson Limited Edition Pop Art Artwork. 2022 Signed & Numbered Limited Edition of XXX Artwork Size 18x24 "The TRUTH image ran in the New York Times right before the election in the opinion feature, What Have We Lost. The Devil Made Me Do it & Divided We Stand, United We Fall were both made on January 6th in response to the Faustian bargain that Trump and his accomplices made in designing the coup. Today we find ourselves at a crossroads; now, more than ever, is the time we need to come together, take a stand, exercise our voices, and fight for Truth and Democracy. Hopefully, daylight will cast off this right-wing authoritarian spell. I see these posters as markers of a historical time and feel a duty within to share my views. We’re all exhausted by politics, but we must embrace the moment and take action because the threat is fundamental; our democracy could be gone in the blink of an eye." - Cleon Peterson The connection of Peterson with street art is also an aspect of his work worth mentioning. Even though he has created numerous murals all over the world, the artist himself does consider himself a street artist: “I don’t think of myself as a street artist or somebody that does work in that vein, but I love the idea of doing large paintings that confront people.”. This is revealing of his motivation to make his art as accessible as possible, as a way to invite the viewers to interact with it and confront the subjects the artist is interested in addressing. This brings up the following questions concerning the art of Peterson: “What is the meaning of it? Does it have a meaning after all? If yes, is this pre-determined by the artist? In order to better understand the way meaning is created in the world of Cleon Peterson, it is essential to, primarily, understand the way he perceives the media as a field of allegations, unbased rumors, suppositions and outright lies. In the world that the artist has created and, in correlation with our own reality, media is a tool of manipulation in the hands of politicians, leaving us helpless and in the mercy of an exploitative authoritarian system.

"Know Your Rights" is a commanding serigraph by Shepard Fairey, an artist who has cemented his place in the contemporary art scene through works that intertwine the ethos of street art with the aesthetic of modern pop art. This piece, released on August 21, 2014, is particularly noteworthy not only for its bold political message but also for the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into the production of each print. As an extensive format work, measuring an impressive 42 x 42 inches, it makes an indelible mark on the viewer, both through its scale and its strikingly stark one-color presentation on varnished 100% cotton rag archival paper, complete with hand-deckled edges. Shepard Fairey is renowned for blending fine art with the raw, in-your-face quality of street art and graffiti, and "Know Your Rights" is a prime example of this synthesis. The piece is anchored by a central image featuring an open book titled "THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN," encapsulating a message of empowerment and the potential for change. This is framed by laurels and a lit torch, evoking classic motifs that signify victory, knowledge, and enlightenment. The bordering texts "OBEY PROPAGANDA" and "KNOW YOUR RIGHTS" play into Fairey's recurring themes of propaganda, control, and the dissemination of information, urging the viewer to question authority and the narratives they are presented with. Each print in this limited edition is signed and numbered by Fairey, signifying its authenticity and connection to the artist's hand. The decision to use a one-color palette speaks to the work's assertive simplicity and Fairey's skill in using contrast and texture to convey depth and resonance. It's a technique that mirrors his street art roots, where messages must be given quickly and memorably. The serigraph process, a labor-intensive method of screen printing, ensures that each impression is of the highest quality, with the varnishing on the cotton rag paper adding a durable, tactile finish that also enhances the visual impact. "Know Your Rights" stands as a powerful statement in Fairey's oeuvre, reflecting his social and political advocacy rendered through his distinct pop art lens. This artwork resonates with the immediacy of street art and carries the weight of historical art traditions, bridging contemporary concerns with timeless expressions of resistance and hope.

Shepard Fairey- OBEY Legislative Influence For Sale AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY
Legislative Influence For Sale AP Artist Proof 2-Color Hand-Pulled Limited Edition Silkscreen Print on Fine Art Paper by Shepard Fairey Rare Street Art OBEY Pop Artwork Artist. AP Artist Proof 2011 Signed & Marked AP Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Democrat Propaganda Print of United States President Ronald Regan Holding Sign That Reads "Legislative Influence For Sale" like one side is innocent. "Legislative Influence For Sale AP Artist Proof" stands as a testament to the profound intersection of politics, pop art, and street aesthetics, epitomizing the essence of the genre through the lens of Shepard Fairey, a defining figure in the contemporary street art scene. Created in 2011, this 2-color, hand-pulled limited edition silkscreen print on fine art paper captures not just the vibrancy and rawness of Fairey's visual language, but also a poignant commentary on the nature of political power and influence in the United States. Marked by its emblematic use of stark contrasts, the print features a depiction of the 40th United States President, Ronald Reagan, clutching a sign with the audacious declaration "Legislative Influence For Sale". Such a visual rhetoric draws attention to the controversial claims about money's role in shaping political outcomes, highlighting the nuances of the relationship between governance and monetary interests. At the same time, by juxtaposing Reagan – who often stands as a symbol of conservative ideals – with a sign suggesting political malfeasance, Fairey challenges the viewer to question and confront their preconceived notions about innocence and guilt in the political arena. In context, Shepard Fairey's artwork – often released under the OBEY moniker – has continually been at the vanguard of pushing the boundaries of street art, evolving it from mere visual spectacle to a medium that communicates pressing societal messages. This piece is no exception. Merging the populist overtones of street art with the iconographic representation reminiscent of pop art, Fairey's "Legislative Influence For Sale AP Artist Proof" is more than just an artwork. It's an embodiment of a time, a statement, and a call to awareness in a world where art and activism seamlessly intersect.

Noir Flower Woman Blue AP Silkscreen Print by Shepard Fairey- OBEY Artist Proof Hand-Pulled Screen Print on Fine Art Paper Limited Edition Pop Street Art Artwork. AP Artist Proof 2022 Signed & AP Marked Original Run Limited Edition Artwork Size 18x24 Silkscreen Print of Woman Holding Large Lotus Flower. "The Obey Noir Flower Woman print is inspired by Art Deco design and Dark Wave album art. The image has a few avenues for interpretation. I primarily see it as a tribute to idealists who protect the environment, cultivate justice, and hold optimism close to their hearts. We all face challenges and hostilities, but exterior forces don't control our inner strength and idealism. We do! Idealism leads to action. Those who perpetrate injustice rely on apathy to get away with their misdeeds. Nurture your inner idealism, and your constructive actions will follow. A portion of the proceeds from this print will benefit Greenpeace to support its work to enhance environmental protections and combat climate change." -Shepard Fairey. Shepard Fairey's "Noir Flower Woman Blue AP" is a testament to the harmonious blend of pop and street art, with a unique nod to graffiti culture. With the hand-pulled silkscreen method on fine art paper, this 18x24 print captures a woman delicately holding a giant lotus flower. This captivating artwork, released as an Artist Proof in 2022, is not only a rare find due to its limited edition run but also because of the personal touch added by Fairey through his signature and the distinctive "AP" mark. At a glance, the "Obey Noir Flower Woman" appears to be heavily influenced by Art Deco elements and Dark Wave album art aesthetics. Yet, beneath its visual layers lies a profound message. Shepard Fairey draws inspiration from those idealists who remain committed to environmental protection, champion justice, and foster a deep-seated optimism, even in the face of adversity. His work argues that external challenges can never overshadow the radiant light of one's inner resilience and idealism. Rather than being passive spectators, Fairey calls upon individuals to harness their inner idealism, transforming it into actionable change. This sentiment reverberates even more when considering that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print aids Greenpeace in its relentless battle against climate change and for enhanced environmental protections. This piece by Fairey isn't merely an artwork; it's an emblem that showcases the intersection of visual allure and impactful advocacy, a hallmark that distinguishes much of the art from the pop, street, and graffiti genres. As viewers immerse themselves in the intricate details of "Noir Flower Woman Blue AP," they are invited to reflect, respond, and act on the world around them.
